Dear sir,

I have purchased a daikin inverter ac from patna on 24.04.2018 for installation of it in my father-in-law residence in district banka, bihar. I made a call on tollfree no [protected] on 01.05.2019 for installation of it to installation site address at vill-deoda, dist - banka, bihar, pin-813102. Customer care told me that since purchase date is more than one year old, free installation facility cannot be provided. He told me that rs 1500 plus gst (@18%) will be charged for installation. I agreed and booked the call for installation of ac. Same day on 01.05.2019 in afternoon i received the call from m/s weather control, bhagalpur (Which is authorised service centre of daikin) from mobile no [protected] regarding installation of ac. He told that technician will visit the installation address on 01.05.2019. Technician came to installation address at around 18:00 hours and told that he is unable to install since he left some equipment used for installation. Such a poor service by daikin. Technician told he will visit the site again on 03.05.2019. On 03.05.2019 another technician visited the installation address from m/s weather control, bhagalpur, technician mobile no was [protected]. Again technician came without drilling machine blade. He insisted my father-in-law to purchase it from local market for technician since without it drilling was not possible. My father-in-law who is more than 70 years of age went to market for purchase of it for technician. Again poor service and lack of professionalism. That part costed rs 100.00 which technician took with himself and not paid the price of it while he promised to repay it to my father-in-law.
After installation he was charging for rs 1500 plus rs 270 gst amount plus rs 200 conveyance. My father-in-law phoned me that technician is charging rs 200 extra towards conveyance, which can be heard from the voice recording of technician also. He was saying that weather control is providing service upto 10 kilometer only and since banka is around 47 km from bhagalpur, we have to pay rs 200 extra towards conveyance. Technician called the service centre m/s weather control and the in-charge of service centre was also insisting for the same, which can be heard from another call record also.
My father-in-law phoned me after having argument with technician, i told the technician that niether the customer care nor the service centre told me about this conveyance charge on 01.05.2019 since i clearly asked from both the person and they told me that no extra charge except for if any extra part required in installation on actual cost basis. Now the daikin, m/s weather control bhagalpur and technician harassed my old age relative by charging extra amount.
My father-in-law gave him rs 1700 in cash and rs 100 already paid by my father-in-law towards purchase of blade required for drilling which technician which he took with himself.
Total of rs 1800 paid by my father-in-law towards installation of daikin inverter ac. Even after that technician was asking for rs 200 extra towards conveyance. My father-in-law refused to give him extra amount and asked for gst advise/ bill of rs 1770/- (Including gst) towards installation. Technician refused to give any gst bill for installation service.
Later i called the customer care to lodge the complain, but the person other side refused to lodge complain saying there is no menu in their system to lodged the complain. I insisted that i made request through this toll free no for installation of ac, if i have any issue regarding installation, toll free number customer care representative should register my complain. Person who refused to take my complain on toll free number, identified himself as mr nikesh.
After few minutes i agained called the toll free number for lodging complain and it was lodged by the person other side on toll free number and my complain number is 20733659 dated 03.05.2019. Customer care person again told me that there is no any provision of conveyance charge.
Since i am aggrieved by the poor and unprofessional customer service provided by the daikin, the technician and m/s control weather, who harassed my old age father-in-law by asking extra rs 200 towards conveyance, i request you to provide me justice by penalizing the daikin and m/s control weather (Authorised service centre of daikin in bhagalpur).
I would like to draw your attention towards two points:
1. Even after paying rs 1800, technician didn't provide me gst money receipt.
2. Since they have not provided me gst money receipt, there is greater chance of evading of gst payment to govt. Of india by m/s weather control which (Gst) has already paid by my father-in-law.
I request you to:
1. Make arrangement for original gst money receipt by m/s weather control
2. Refund of rs 30 extra charged by technician (Since service charge of installation is rs 1770 only including gst)
3. Penalise the daikin for poor customer service. Also penalise m/s weather control for his wrong information, insisting for conveyance charge, taking rs 30 extra by technician and not providing me gst money receipt hard copy. They also wasted lot of time our family members towards calling to service centre, technician (Who never picked our call after getting the money and calling customer care.

    I brought an 53, 800₹ worth inverter ac from daikan in delhi from sargam electronics
    And just after 1 year the ac is having pcb defect and an motor defect
    I am being asked to pay 12000₹ for the repairing of it.
    The service technician accepted that these kinds of problems arise after 4-5 years and it was surprising how it happened in 1 year only.
    Daikan is a multinational company and if this is the kind of product i should expect then i would never recommend anyone to buy daikan ac.
    I brought the inverter ac to save money but now even if i saved some money it will go to the company's pocket anyway.
    I recommend no one to buy daikan ac as they provide cheap quality products which tend to show age after 1 year or so.
    I have a voltage stabilizer installed and yet this kind of problem arised.
    Thank you daikan for this faulty product.

      Despite lodging a complaint on 24th april 19, the company has taken no action to replace the compressor under warranty. The company and its representative show an extreme careless attitude in resolving the issue.
      In my personal opinion daikin shouldn't be allowed to continue doing buisness in india if they do not honour their warranty commitments.
      Last resort left now is to file a case in consumer court.

        Facing the same issue as many of the daikin customers are.

        I run an online reputation management company and i'll make sure i can make as many potential customers and ac review websites/influencers aware of the issues and hassles of owning a daikin ac.

        I purchased 1.5 ton split inverter ac (Ftkp50prv16) 3-4 years back and ac has stopped cooling.

        I raised a diagnostic request on their centralized customer care no. Two days later, their service engineer gave me a visit and told me that ac needs a jet service worth rs. 1350.

        After servicing (Which i don't believe was required), the cooling issue remained the same apart from the fact that the hot airflow became more intense due to cleaning.

        Then, the engineer told me it is an ejector issue with the outdoor unit and he has made it direct.

        The issue was still not resolved completely and then the guys came to a conclusion that it might be a pcb issue which costs rs. 5100 along with ejector replacement that would cost an additional rs. 1800.

        They also said the parts are in waiting as many customers are facing this issue.

        I don't understand why a reputed company like daikin is looting their customers in the name of faulty parts and frequent replacement requirements.

        If there is an issue with ejector/pcb controlling my compressor speed, it should come under warranty as my compressor has a 5-year warranty.

        This was my last year’s complaint.
        I did not take it further as i have already mentioned that the engineer made it direct (I don’t understand how it is possible or he was making a fool out of me). Now i have started facing the same issue again.

        My ac has stopped working and i do not expect this kind of issue with a so called premium pioneer brand daikin.

        Whoever reading this complaint please think and tell me why so many customers on this website has the same issue with your acs?

          The inverter ac was purchased in september 2017 but after installation there was leakage problem in ac. The same got repaired under warranty. This year again, we are facing same problem with the ac and when customer support was contacted we were told that there would be visiting charge of rs 400 + gst and additional cost would be recovered in case of any fault. The product sold was faulty since beginning, why should we suffer and pay again and again for faulty product. The same should be resolved without any additional charge or the product should be replaced.

            It has been only 2 months since my purchase of Daikin AC. Suddenly AC gets switched off automatically and there is no cooling happens. Based on my request a technician from Daikin checked and stated that there is an issue in PCB board. Within a short span of time there is issue occurring in the AC. I am highly dissatisfied and upset because of this and would like your team to take back the machine and refund the complete payment done by me. Need an immediate action to be taken on this as this is causing so much of trouble and disturbing my entire personal life.

              Purchased this ac last year. Started having problem with it's cooling. Complained to the dealer, which was attended to on 08.04.19. I was told that there is leakage of gas and another team will visit to do the needful. Afterrepeated reminders, another person visited and told that fan of the compressor is defective, will be replaced. Even after repeated reminders, it has not been rectified. Daikin complaint no.                 Sir,

                This is to bring in your notice that i bought a daikin split 1.5ton ac from naresh trading company raipur chattisgarh on[protected], since installation i am facing issues like (No chilling, auto off only green light blinds), in this 3 months i have faced the same issue 3times for which i have registered complain back to back, and technician comes after long follow up and do a temporary solution, but i am not getting any proper solution from the tech team...

                Yesterday mr. Manoj the technical person told me that the outer part is having error. I have informed the same to mr. Savio but not getting any proper response as i want my piece to be exchanged with the new one asap.

                I am really got harassed and i will go legal if i won't get any solution with in 24hrs.

                This is the current complain registered on 22-23 april 2019.

                  Hi,

                  I have purchased a daikin 1.5 ton inverter split ac in may 2015 ; model : ftkp50prv16.. For the last three days it has not been working so i called customer care and book a service call.. Technician came the next day and said outdoor unit pcb gone and it would cost[protected].. I was shocked.. Its been 4 years only and pcb gone.. When i asked him he said it might be due to power flucatuations, erarthing (My has proper earthing), need double booster stabilizer (I hv single booster stabilizer) etc etc..

                  Very bad and i request not to prefer daikin inverter acs...

                    I have purchased new daikin air conditioner from maya electronics hisar (Haryana) on 13.04.2019. Today is 25.04.2019 and from last 12 days no one came to install that a. C. It is said to me by dealer that in two days your ac will be installed but even after 12 days it is not installed. I think have make a mistake to choose daikin. Kindly take action against responsible persons and make them accountable. Also reslove my issue at the earliest.

                            Hello daikin,
                            It is intimated that i had purchased a daikin jtkj50... Invertor ac from trivandrum i. E. Eham digital, travancore mall in 2018 march last week. Within a year the ac is giving error code e8. Since i was not familier of that error code i didnt take notice of that. But in march last week to this day the error code is appearing very regularly. Then i searched for it in google and came to know that it is related to high input current and may be due to pcb fault etc.
                            I am now worried. How come a brand new ac developed pcb error just in first year of its operation. That means the ac was faulty and may also be programmed to show error at the fag end of the warranty year. This is a very poor quality standard daikin is maintaining. I shouldnt have opted for daikin. Since then i, ve called many daikin mechanics but none is able to identify the problem and its solution. I'm now in tension as daikin will charge me thousands of rupees for a defective ac. Despite it being an invertor ac i have purchased and installed a voltage stabilizer also.
                            Plz do something. You are a reputed brand and should have maintained top quality standards. If you require any other info for my complaint resolution plz write back.

                              My 1.5 ton Split AC model no. FTKP50QRV16 (indoor unit) + RKP50QRV16 (outdoor unit) was not cooling effectively. Upon complaining at Customer Care they have referred the matter to PRIYA ENTERPRISES, no. 5/58A Bajanai Koil street, Vijayanagaram, Medavakkam, Chennai - 600100.
                              Diagnosed as GAS LEAK and the indoor unit was taken to their workshop and returned on[protected] after necessary works. It was handled very badly during transport leaving tell stains and scratches. Cooling performance was satisfactory but in due course it developed unusually noisy, which they claimed normal due to ageing. Of late the cooling effect has reduced and got the indoor unit serviced on[protected] by another Daikin authorised dealer/service agent AKASH ENTERPRISES of Pallikarani, Chennai 600100. During Servicing they have pointed out to cracks to the internal body part which according to the service engineer is the reason for the unusual noise.
                              As we had no access to the internal parts we did not know about the damages caused by Priya Enterprises during the repairs carried out by them.
                              We sincerely hope that Daikin will take action on Priya Enterprises for the damages during repairs at their workshop and during transport and also replace the cracked body part.

                                On 9.3.2019 my daikin ac got repair so i search for customer care of yours suddenly one servcice centre named shrishti electricals called me and said that they are your official service centre for chennai so we believed but they sheated us by doing fraud service and got 8000 rs from us the next day ac didnt work their address is 46/5, 18th cross street, adayar, chennai 6000020 and contact number is [protected], [protected] they are misusing your brand which will definitely going to damage daikin brand kindly take necessary actions aginst the company which is damaging your brand name.

                                    I bought a new air condition on which company is supposed to provide free installation. When i registered the request on toll free number of company's line, they agreed and sent me a conformation sms mentioning that the request will be dealt with in due time and also provided me local dealer number who was supposed to handle this request. Somehow it's been a week and still no one has came or contacted me to install the unit. I have complained and requested several times on the same helpline number and every time i got an answer that the request will be dealt with priority and then after there is no revert back for any action taken on it.

                                    The local dealer is Shakti Services and only the mobile number which is given to me in the message from Daikin company is [protected]. Whenever I have tried to call this number either this number is switched off or they are cutting off the phone. Basically there is no response locally and company wide.

                                      Very pathetic service from you guys i am facing now a days. Your service center is so pathetic. I bought ac of daikin on oct 2018 but i fitted it on feb 2019 at that time cooling is fine due to whether. Now on 4-apr-2019 when i start my daikin ac it blows warm air because cooling gas is over. Then i register complaint on your cc team they gave me the complaint no 20181123 which was opened on friday[protected]. Then on 06.04.19 your service executive reach at my home and said i dont filling the cooling gas i am only here to check whats the problem in ac. He also trying me to sell some coating paint on ac. His mob no is [protected]. After that i again call to your service center no [protected] they told we will arrange it on sunday but i told him sunday is you office closed. He told me we will arrange sir. Nobody came on sunday. Then i again called up on monday (Yesterday) they told me we dont have any staff today so we will send by tuesday (Which is today[protected]. I called up him in the morning he told me executive is on the way with cooling gas. I again called up him just now at 1.35 pm they change the statement and saying we will trying to send the service executive by tomorrow. So my point is daikin is providing service to customer in this bad way. If today my ac is not worked properly i will definite by tomorrow filled the consumer case against daikin ac india. And also post it on social media that dont buy the product of daikin. My contact no is [protected].

                                        I have registered my request for servicing my ac today 06.04.2019 id[protected] but it is not being attended i have been left on the mercy of local service dealer who is not attending it properly, how service person called me at 2.59 pm that he is coming but at 4.44pm i again called him he made excuse that it is late i cannot come his mobile number is [protected]. How strange is after about 2hrs he refused to come. What a sad state of affairs customer is at mercy of local service dealer. Such a big concern has kept 3rd class service persons who make customer suffer. It is requested to take legal action against the service centre.
                                        In the meantime to make arrangement for redressal of my complaint to make my ac functional.
