Dear sir,
I have purchased a daikin inverter ac from patna on 24.04.2018 for installation of it in my father-in-law residence in district banka, bihar. I made a call on tollfree no [protected] on 01.05.2019 for installation of it to installation site address at vill-deoda, dist - banka, bihar, pin-813102. Customer care told me that since purchase date is more than one year old, free installation facility cannot be provided. He told me that rs 1500 plus gst (@18%) will be charged for installation. I agreed and booked the call for installation of ac. Same day on 01.05.2019 in afternoon i received the call from m/s weather control, bhagalpur (Which is authorised service centre of daikin) from mobile no [protected] regarding installation of ac. He told that technician will visit the installation address on 01.05.2019. Technician came to installation address at around 18:00 hours and told that he is unable to install since he left some equipment used for installation. Such a poor service by daikin. Technician told he will visit the site again on 03.05.2019. On 03.05.2019 another technician visited the installation address from m/s weather control, bhagalpur, technician mobile no was [protected]. Again technician came without drilling machine blade. He insisted my father-in-law to purchase it from local market for technician since without it drilling was not possible. My father-in-law who is more than 70 years of age went to market for purchase of it for technician. Again poor service and lack of professionalism. That part costed rs 100.00 which technician took with himself and not paid the price of it while he promised to repay it to my father-in-law.
After installation he was charging for rs 1500 plus rs 270 gst amount plus rs 200 conveyance. My father-in-law phoned me that technician is charging rs 200 extra towards conveyance, which can be heard from the voice recording of technician also. He was saying that weather control is providing service upto 10 kilometer only and since banka is around 47 km from bhagalpur, we have to pay rs 200 extra towards conveyance. Technician called the service centre m/s weather control and the in-charge of service centre was also insisting for the same, which can be heard from another call record also.
My father-in-law phoned me after having argument with technician, i told the technician that niether the customer care nor the service centre told me about this conveyance charge on 01.05.2019 since i clearly asked from both the person and they told me that no extra charge except for if any extra part required in installation on actual cost basis. Now the daikin, m/s weather control bhagalpur and technician harassed my old age relative by charging extra amount.
My father-in-law gave him rs 1700 in cash and rs 100 already paid by my father-in-law towards purchase of blade required for drilling which technician which he took with himself.
Total of rs 1800 paid by my father-in-law towards installation of daikin inverter ac. Even after that technician was asking for rs 200 extra towards conveyance. My father-in-law refused to give him extra amount and asked for gst advise/ bill of rs 1770/- (Including gst) towards installation. Technician refused to give any gst bill for installation service.
Later i called the customer care to lodge the complain, but the person other side refused to lodge complain saying there is no menu in their system to lodged the complain. I insisted that i made request through this toll free no for installation of ac, if i have any issue regarding installation, toll free number customer care representative should register my complain. Person who refused to take my complain on toll free number, identified himself as mr nikesh.
After few minutes i agained called the toll free number for lodging complain and it was lodged by the person other side on toll free number and my complain number is 20733659 dated 03.05.2019. Customer care person again told me that there is no any provision of conveyance charge.
Since i am aggrieved by the poor and unprofessional customer service provided by the daikin, the technician and m/s control weather, who harassed my old age father-in-law by asking extra rs 200 towards conveyance, i request you to provide me justice by penalizing the daikin and m/s control weather (Authorised service centre of daikin in bhagalpur).
I would like to draw your attention towards two points:
1. Even after paying rs 1800, technician didn't provide me gst money receipt.
2. Since they have not provided me gst money receipt, there is greater chance of evading of gst payment to govt. Of india by m/s weather control which (Gst) has already paid by my father-in-law.
I request you to:
1. Make arrangement for original gst money receipt by m/s weather control
2. Refund of rs 30 extra charged by technician (Since service charge of installation is rs 1770 only including gst)
3. Penalise the daikin for poor customer service. Also penalise m/s weather control for his wrong information, insisting for conveyance charge, taking rs 30 extra by technician and not providing me gst money receipt hard copy. They also wasted lot of time our family members towards calling to service centre, technician (Who never picked our call after getting the money and calling customer care.
