Purchased 1.5 ton split AC on 28 Jun 2018. After 2/3 weeks cooling was reduced. Contacted the dealer Solar Aircon. He sent his technician and filled gas because of reduced gas pressure. After another 2 weeks cooling was reduced. Contacted dealer and was told to approach Daiken.
Lodged complaint on 7 Sep 2018 (no.[protected]. Dealer's technician came in the morning (7 Sep) and informed that gas pressure is less and that is why AC is not cooling and shutting down. Mentioned this in my complaint. Technician came in the evening from Daiken and checked the machine. He informed that gas pressure is ok but there is a problem with the sensor. He disconnected the sensor and told me to run the machine at night. He filled his report mentioning that the machine has been washed and cleaned. There was no mention of why the AC stopped or whether the gas pressure was ok.
Next day it was observed that cooling was less. I lodged another complaint on 8 Sep 2018 giving the first complaint no. The technician came in the evening and found that the gas pressure was less. He also found that there was no problem with the sensor and connected it again. Later another person came and filled the gas.
I am disappointed with the attitude and wrong diagnosis of the machine. Despite telling him that the gas pressure was less, which was filled the next day, he failed to take correct measures. He also filled a wrong report stating that the machine has been cleaned. There was no mention of sensor being faulty or having it disconnected. I would request that the company investigates and punishes the first technician for misleading the customer.
Despite the gas being filled in the machine within two months of purchase there is no diagnosis as to why it is happening. If there is leak somewhere, the pressure will again be reduced with reduced cooling. This being a technical problem, I do not think that the technicians are qualified to assess critically the problem and find a solution. I will run the machine for a few days to check if the problem has been resolved.

    Dear Daikin team,

    I have been registered the complaint on 28th August 2018 but through online via [protected] ph number but still it’s not resolved. I ddnt face thus type of worst service in my previous with all brand except Daikin. So i[censored] r maintain a good service then resolve my problem immediately as a prime basis. I have been bought the Daikin ac on April 09th 2018 but it’s worked only one month. Hwz that installation done only Daikin people wil said. In this particular region Daikin service persons were frauding the people and giving the worst service in our area. Because of this type of situations, the Daikin is loosing their upcoming customers in their businesses. So that kindly avoid this type of fraud service centres as a prime priority basis otherwise Daikin wil losses theirs selling rate.

      This is rahul kumar from patna. I bought an a. C. From you in april 2018. Model no – dtc50srv162, serial no – 9038383. It was not working properly from the beginning. After several reminders, anyhow it was repaired, after few days again it stopped working. No action has been taken after several reminders. I think substandard quality of a. C. Have supplied to me.
      So, i request to you that either replace the above said a. C. Or give me a refund.

          Dear sir,

          I would like to inform you that i’m very disappointed with service of daikin india from last one month we take many follow-ups with helpline number, head office for my a/c repair and still it’s not done or we don’t get any response also now i’m thinking that why we purchase daikin a/c we have many option in market but sorry to say i’m not prefer daikin a/c to my friends and others.

          Now i do call in help desk and head office daily or after 2-3 days now this is my daily routine work because my family don’t sleep in night because of a/c problem.

          I’m talk with mr. Hiren (Mahakali eterprise., ahmedabad., gujarat.), but no solution done

          Toady again i log a call in help desk and talk with he says please give me a 2 hours’ time i just call to you but after 2 and ½ hours no call come then again i call customer executive says mr. Hiren call to you within 5 min but again no call below is detail of my call log.

            My daikin ac stopped working in the month of june 18, i asked dealer who sent two technicians who said its sensors are damaged, after 15 days two another technician came and said sensors are not available in company and you have to wait, after another 15 days some one advised us to ask the company and lodged our complaint to daikin company. Then two so called engineers came and they see the ac and said its pcb is damaged, and it will be replaced and will cost rs 12500/- plus other charges etc. We agreed and asked them to repair it immediately.
            After 20 days or so we got a sms on phone on 'august 4, 18, that reference your complaint gha [protected]/ customer id 10194610. Your ac will be attended by the team from ashu electronic [protected]'
            0n 7th when no one turned out from ashu electronic
            On contact to the given number refused to attend the ac complaint because the pcb not available with them, further advised us to contact [protected]
            Who said to send some one in 4 hours but no body came.
            Now see the state of poor service of daikin is a japanese company.in fact this company is looting poor indian people by giving lots of assurances of good service.

            We received two phone calls that they are coming to repair the AC on the evening of 14th August 2018, at about 7 24 P.M. we waited till 10 P.M. but no one turned out. This is the state of Daikin's Service.
            This is the time when AC is required most and Daikin people are asking for some more time for the last one month, but not saying the exact time.
            Perhaps Managing director of this company is not aware about the law that they will have to provide the part with in 36 hours and for ten years from the date of production o[censored]nit.

              I have 5 daikin acs bought a year and a half back, 1 broke down 2 weeks after purchase, daikin refused to replace the ac changed parts only. Now 2 ac’s were not cooling complained mid june action mid july, daikin took the working acs to their workshop and returned dead acs on the 18th of july... No action till end july when i escalated, the complaint. They now diagnose it as burnt coils and demand 20, 000 r/s per ac more than 50% of the cost of an ac, to get any response from daikin after 1 and a half month if continuos complaints i escalated it to global team, then suddenly the indian team woke up and offered us repairs at 50 percent discount. However nobody in the entire indian organisation uptil the top management has any interest on customer care... Instead their top managers head if customer care, speak in a raised voice to customers that complain... My grievance is against the 1 and a half month of no ac due to no interest in customer care, i would like yo see action against daikin india

Tbere top management raises his voice at customers on complaints and after i accepted the 50 percent payment in writing they withdraw the same on one ac and accuse me of wanting free service... I am speaking with the head of customer care... I feel completely harassed, have all documentation to prove my point

                Dear sir/madam

                With reference to the above complaint no dtd 19.07.2018, for almost 2 weeks our ac breakdown problem is not resolved till writing of this e-mail.

                Rigorous follow up with your mumbai amc team and the swastik engg. Who looks after the amc of our machines could not resolve the issue, intially due to non-availability of the spare.

                According to swastik engg. The spares are not available with diakin. Yesterday some how they have procured the spare but didn't work due to the technical issues.

                Today ie. On 02.08.2018 daikin is going to arrange the senoir technician alongwith spare but nobody has turned up today.

                What is the meaning of keeping comprehensive amc with oem like daikin. We have visitors at home and do not have fan in the room. You can understand the difficulty we are passing through.

                In the above circumstances replace the ac by stand by ac till daikin is not able to procure the parts by today evening i. E.02.08.2018.

                Please take this mail seriously as your amc team and your vendor are avoiding our phone calls nor are reverting back.

                Please note i have been a old customer of daikin having more than 15 ac’s in my two houses and at present am terribly disappointed by this unprofessional attitude of your service provider.

                Our service team visited at your premises and found that outdoor PCB is defective, after replacing the unit and start the unit then found that unit is not cooling due to multiple leaks in the evaporator coil.                         Never did I ever come across a company handled so casually and ignorant towards maintaining customer relationships.
                        I am a business man dealing in ethnic wear in Varanasi, currently operating with 6 showrooms in the city and expanding in the nearby cities.

                        I bought 16 Daikin ACs for my new showroom 6 months back but now have been rendered betrayed by the service provided. I have my inauguration date tomorrow and have been left helpless due to the delay in installation. This laid back attitude is going to cost me lots and I am not willing to take this trouble. This has caused a lot of mental pressure to me and I refuse to be handled so lightly.

                        I made the purchase from vishal videos value plus owned by Mr. Ankit Bhalotia only the on the account of the goodwill they have in the market and the trust we have on them. The installation and after sales services are provided by Mr. Ansari from I.F.A enterprises and M.A enterprises who charges exorbitant and unfair installation prices for daikin AC. He keeps the rates flexible at his liberty.

                        I have already paid 2 Lakh for installation and Mr. Ansari has bluntly refused to install the ACs for my inauguration tomorrow. He has been misbehaving with me and left me helpless in this situation. He has damaged all my previously installed Daikin ACs in other showrooms and claims that Daikin's ACs are short lived and need to be changed. He has also disrupted Mr. Bhalotia's reputation and our relation with them due to bad behaviour, delay in installation and faulty repairs. I doubt if he is working for the company or against tarnishing the goodwill of the company in the market.

                        I had lodged a similar complaint last year for Rachit enterprises here in Varanasi who exhibited the same behaviour and does only dry repairs alongwith delay in installation. No action was taken by Daikin against that matter and I was forced to change my dealer.

                        Presently, I have around 100 Daikin ACs in all my showrooms but now I have had it with the poor after sales services of the company and its lack of hold on its representatives. This matter has gone beyond the limits and I will seek legal assistance now for I have no intentions in dealing with Daikin anymore if this is how the customers are treated and behaved with.

                        I have already installed 10 O General ACs and Samsung ACs in my other showroom due to irresponsible attitude of the company and its representatives. The market is already bad-mouthing about Daikin simply due to these unresolved matters and nobody wants to get dragged in a mess like this.

                        For the ACs I have already bought I need immediate redressal and installation for my inauguration tomorrow no matter how, when and from where it gets arranged.

                        I have copies of all the bills and i will definitely escalate this matter legally if no immediate action is taken as I cannot endure more trouble from the company.

Today I contacted the service center and had a talk with Mr shyam who was kind enough to listen to me and assured me that he will send a service engg to attend the non rectified complaint..But after one hour I again called him to confirm weather he has send an engg .But to my utter surprise he did not pick up my phone after repeated calls to be precise i have made more than 20 calls but he did not attend even one .I have given a message to kindly let me know why my phone is not attended but in vain.May i request you to kindly let me know the reason of not attending the phone and weather my complaint will be attended or not. thanking you kapahi [protected]

                            Daikin inverter ac definitely has defective pcb. Got pcb replaced for two Ac's in july 2017 and now third ac has also stopped functioning because of the same problem that the previous two acs faced (error code U4). From the time I have purchased the acs, they have been used with a stabilizer. So there is no chance of voltage fluctuations. The product is itself faulty and should be banned. Using Samsung and LG split acs since 12 years without facing any problems. Only Daikin acs cause problems. My recommendation to everyone is not to buy daikin acs, as service as well as repair is expensive plus it requires frequent service and repair. I'm never going to buy Daikin again.

                                One JTK 160TV 16U Daikin 2.00 TR SPLIT AC(5S) Unit was purchased by me from your distributor M/s. Chawla Refrigeration & Sons Vasundhra, Ghaziabad vide Invoice No. 689 dated 02.07.2018 for Rs. 44976.00. The unit was installed at my residence.

                                On 09.07.2018 we retired to our room as usual about 10 PM. However, on the night of 09.07.18 (or early morning 10.07.18 at about 00.45 hrs) there was a spark and some obnoxious sound. We got up from the bed and found sparks coming from unit. We got panicked and immediately cut off supplies from Meter. We tried to extinguish fire with water and domestic fire extinguishers. Police on DIAL 100 (EMAZ F[protected]) was also informed and so also Fire Brigade was also alerted.

                                Both reached within 20-25 Minutes. In the meantime with great efforts fire from AC Unit could be extinguished but it left very bad and obnoxious odour in the entire room. The room was engulfed with smoke also. The incident also caused breathing problems and irritation in eyes. All electrical installations of the room were also damaged and burnt. Walls of the room got blackened and many belonging like bed sheets pillows etc. also got damaged. In totality it left us in great panic and agony.

                                We are highly surprised and anguished that a reputed global company like Daikin Air Conditioning India (P) Ltd. provides such poor and deficient services and supplies malfunctioning unit of AC. All the more the attitude of service managed was also not very cooperative. The incident is bound to bring a very bad and damaging name to your company.

                                We sent emails to all the officials of the company but to our surprise they even don't care to acknowledge the emails.

                                  I Syed Manawar Hasan bought an 1.5 ton inverter air conditioner Model: FTKL50V16V Indoor and Outdoor: RKL50TV16V(FTKL) from Khosla Electronics Pvt. Ltd. Dalhousie branch on EMI by Bajaj Finserv. And price is Rs. 40, 600/- as on 14/05/2018 and supplied on 15/05/2018 but when installed the unit didn't start and found that the indoor unit PCB is faulty as told by the company person. It was told that it will take 10 days to replace indoor unit but inspite of replacement they lied and came to change the PCB and was stopped from do it and complained to the Khosla Electronics and promised to replace the unit. Again when installed the new replaced unit it worked only for One night ie. On 5/07/2018 exact after two months and didn't start the next day. After complain it was found faulty Outdoor PCB on 6/07/2018 and still today it is in the same faulty position. The ac was bought for an old women suffering from several skin diseases caused by summer heat but unfortunately the no.1 brand Daikin didn't work for them. All fake branding and fake promise made by them. And now Mr Hasan the purchaser of the faulty Ac wants to return the Ac. Please arrange for the cancelation of finance from Bajaj Finserv and return the Ac to Khosla or Daikin as soon as possible. If it is not done soon then I will go for legal action which I should have already done earlier.

                                    air conditioner service

                                    The service guys came to check low cooling effect for r-32 daikin ac and found that current at capacitor input is 5.6 amp. They said that it needs only gas topup. And then said we charge rs.2200 for gas topup.
                                    Such a harassment for overcharging. We want justice. Tell them to topup the gas at reasonable charges.. We are not replacing the gas but only needs topup for r-32 genuine gas....

                                    We purchased the inverter model ac in the year 2015.in the first itself june 2016 there were some issues and it stopped cooling. The service provider did some repairs and re-installed the ac. Next year in 2017 june the refrigerant leaked and we had to pay for the refill after much efforts of reaching out to daikin customer service. This year again the ac has not been cooling, the refrigerant has leaked again (Confirmed by daikin service provider, hvac solutions, varanasi)
                                    The service person visited after repeated complaints and refilled the refrigerant on 21st june. But the ac is still not working /cooling.
                                    The first request was raised on 12th june 2018, 15th june 2018 and then again on 18th june 2018
                                    These are the three open ticket numbers

                                    Daikin customer service has only given me general responses and three individuals copied on the emails are not bothering to resolve the issue. Their email ids are

                                    Their service provider hvac solutions keep asking us to write emails to customer service and won't visit for repairs.
                                    I feel that daikin has duped us by selling a defective product and now wants us to keep paying them every year for repairs and refrigerant leakages.
                                    I would like them to either repair the product completely or refund us the product price
                                    I am also attaching purchase receipt, refrigerant refill receipt from last year and sharing our contact details

                                    Your service provider hvac solutions visited my home last week and after two days of visits he refilled the refrigerant on 21st june but the ac is still not cooling. When we told him the same he said he will visit again. It has been 4 days since his last visit and we haven't heard anything from them.
                                    When we tried to reach out today the person visiting our home said that he has been assigned some other work so he won't visit again and asked me to write this email.
                                    So we are in the middle of nowhere. The product is useless in this heated weather and you careless people can't do a thing about it.

                                    What kind of lowest level services are you offering to your customers?
                                    If mr. Divesh or others copied on this email are unable to resolve this issue please let know your area manager or someone who can do something about this.

                                    careless supervisor lady didn't call me back after which i made the

                                    call to your cs team and got the same stupid response that senior team
                                    will
                                    call.

                                    please connect me to your higher authority in your organization if none

                                    you can help us.

                                    one thing we are sure about that, we will not spend a single paisa on
                                    repairs of this product. So you guys please get it removed from my home

                                    return the original money that we paid you.

                                    last year we raised a complaint about cooling issues as it was not

                                      Sir, i have purchased daikin inverter ac 1.5 ton of 5star rating model no. Ftkf50tv16u from vijay automobile gt road amritsar, on 28th april, after few days the outer unit stop working and no cooling, i had lodged complain on 15th june and service engineer visited on 16th june and said that a part needs to be replaced. He assured that replacement will take place in 2 working days. After 9-10 days when i didn’t receive any call from service desk, i called many times during this period to vijay automobile but every time said it will take 2 more days. Then i met “mr. Simranjeet singh at vijay automobile on 23rd june, i think he is the head of service department for daikin india in punjab, has confirmed that part will get replaced today only. Nothing happened till today. I am completely clueless and worried whether daikin has “after sale service” or they just sale and forget.

                                      Almost from 1 and half years my Daikin was not cooling instead it drops off cooling affect and just bling the yellow light, if I switched off the board and in the remote for 20 min it will resume it's function and that too for only 1 hour only.
