      Sub : daikin inverter ac – faulty machine – no proper diagnosis of problem till date –compensation requested for the inconvenience

      Sir/madam

      I have purchased the daikin invertor ac split 1 ton – id
      Ftkh35qrv16/od-rkh35qr v16. On 22 oct 2015 from rathna cools pvt ltd, chennai - 17 for rs 36, 090/- (Unit rate – rs.31519.65/- and vat rs.4570.35/-).

      Very soon after the installation i have been experiencing trouble getting the ac running in cool mode. It occasionally works (Cools with outdoor unit running) and most of the time it does not start cooling (External unit does not run) and i have complained it to dailkin customer care from my registered mobile number [protected]. My service request was routed to jai air systemss (Authorized service dealer) multiple times.

      Listing some of my service calls so far with daikin authorized service dealer as directed by daikin customer care.

      22.05.17 service completion certificate number – 9128 by jai air systemss

      15.06.17 service completion certificate number – 10665 by jai air systemss

      03.07.17 service completion certificate number – 11191 by jai air systemss

      04.07.17 service completion certificate number – 9602 by jai air systems (Service engg suspects pcb board issue with outdoor unit and changed the aoart for 4021 with vat on 30.06.2017) even after this the inconsistent behavior of the ac remains as is

      07.07.17 service completion certificate number – 9609 by jai air systemss

      05.09.17 service completion certificate number – 10249 by jai air systemss

      11.04.18 service completion certificate number – 15990 by jai air systems

      Dozens of service engineer has looked at the problem and they could not diagnosis the problem yet. Everytime service engineer directs me to change one spare part or the other on trial and error basis. I have been spending money additionally for each and every service request.

      This experience with daikin has put me in a state of mental pressure and caused trouble to aged grand parent undergoing her treatments. This puts customer like me into a state of dissatisfaction and request legal action against daikin india and direct daikin to replace the faulty machine sold or rectify the problem once for all.

        My ac is under your senior manager since 3 months, and i have paid 50% of the repair charges also, still the ac is not repaired.

        Summer is on my head..

        It is very shamful that daikin cannot repair a inverter ac in a span of 3 months..

        I need to know whether the will be able to repair or not..

        i am sorry ...i dont think you regret about any thing...as 2 days is been passed and i have not received any single call from your end..

        only receiving emails and messages which is of no use..

        if you cant repair the ac, please write in your letter head that" we are ashamed of our self and we will not be able to repair your ac"

        i will sell my ac and purchase new one.

          I purchased 1.8 ton of diakin ac from vijay sales model town on 26th mar
          2017 and got three free services within a year of warranty. However, out of
          3 free services, 2 were availed by your service partner - sidhi vinayak,
          Sahibabad-201010 by generating fake service request on my name. I used only
          One request out of three. Now daikin asking me to pay for services it is
          Very big scam running under your nose. Kindly help.

            We had shifted to a appartment in the month of september. One of your service agents has removed the ac while shifting, due to inappropriate space between the pop roof and windows, your service agent advised me to fit it after 5 months while we shift to our own house and assured that there will be no preoblem. But recently we came to know that the ac lock pin was turned incompletely and the gas was leaked. I have complained many times to the local daikin ac service providers, but there is no response. They are irresponsible towards their customers itseems. I hereby request you to pass an order to them and make the thing done as soon as possible, i hope it will and i believe in your good service.               I purchased ac daikin ftc50srv162b/rc50srv162b from great eastern, tonk road, jaipur tax invoice nojptr/sa/1718/06175 dt.20.6.2017. It was installed by hvac engineers & viha services, jaipur on 4.7.2017. While installing ac the workmen cut the wiring of electricity resulting disconnection of five points - fan, call bell, three light points in the room which i came to know next day. I made calls to the said hvac and complained them about the disconnection. They promised to send workmen to check the complaint but no body turned up. Still i have no connection to these five points as the electrician suggested me to first uninstall the ac unit and then connections may be made. He told that underwall wire of connection is might be cut down while installing the ac. Please take up the matter and find out the fault and get corrected.                 This is the reference that we have 51 rooms hotel in chittorgarh rajasthan, we have purchased all ac of daikin in rooms, 03 unit in banquet hall &
                01 unit at lobby / reception, now problem is that in lobby unit, it’s not
                Working properly from last 01 year.ac is not cooling longer time after
                Started. I am deeply regret to daikin ac. I brought daikin ac after
                Recommend by shopkeeper or my friend. My purchase date was.
                Already many times we have faced different type of problem.& many times complaint noted.
                When we start my ac found my ac is not cooling, a cracking
                Sound is generating to the outdoor unit. A different type of smelling have
                Got generate while ac is on condition. Please look into the matter. I am
                Deeply haras. Please change the both indoor & outdoor unit. Or you may
                Return my full money against the daikin ac purchasing.

                        I have purchased diakin ac ftkl50tv 1.5 ton yesterday, today they send two person for installing ac, instead of installing they tried to fool us. Pointed out unnecessary issue regarding wire asking for rs.2600 when the installation was free from company and further we already done pipe fittings & wire fittings at time of construction house. So they try to make fool o[censored]s wanna charge 2600. This is so disgusting from a brand like daikin. This was my first purchase from daikin know i'm regretting for my decision.
                        Earlier we buy two times carrier ac we never faces this issue (At that time also we already done fitting during construction).

                        Now we need to install ac from outside for which we need to pay 1500.
                        Free installation by is just fraud by diakin to make fool people during purchase of ac afterthat they send their installation team to loot innocent because after purchased they left with no option...

                        In future never purchased diakin ac.

                        Further they also selling stand for rs. 750 which is sell by local installer rs.500.

                          Sir I have purchased the Daikin inverter Split AC of capacity 1.5 Ton capacity model FTKH50SRV16 at Reliance digital, lakshmipuram, Guntur on[protected] . The complaint has been launched to Reliance digital, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh 15 days before about the cooling problem .The service engineer came on behalf of Reliance digital and attended and given the feed back to the same Reliance digital about the mother board fault in the outdoor unit.Up to now the complaint was not restored . I have given so many reminders to the Reliance digital over Phone[protected] for the rectification of the fault .If this is the way of attending the complaints of the customers the reputation of the Daikin company will lose in the public sight. As a prestigious company you should be more care full in satisfying the customer. Sir I request you to kindly rectify my problem, otherwise I may proceed to consumer forum .

                                Do not buy daikin acs they have repeated issues with pcb and fan motor and these parts even if replaced have no warranty, not even for a month.

                                I have bought more than 20 daikin split inverter airconditioners from a local dealer in jalgaon, maharashtra and have suffered my brains out. Buying over 20 acs in a single deal would make you readers think that i must have gotten the best of services from daikin or the dealer but you might be as surprised as i was when the behavioral changes started. The following facts are regarding one of these acs installed in my home where there are 5 acs others working fine, with no electrical fault, separate stabilizer installed and no other location specific problems that daikin can hide behind. This ac started giving cooling issues post few months o[censored]se to which there was lot of excuses and refilling gas up more than thrice, the third time i complained, they took the unit and replaced the pcb and some other stuff within warranty. The problem again showed up a month or two later and i raised a service request with the local dealer, again there were lot of false reasons due to the cooling issue and gas was refilled again. There was always some issue with the cooling of this ac it would work fine some days and sometime it would just not cool at all. Whenever the problem be persistent for a few days i would raise a request. So the third time post few months, when i complained about the issue, they first refilled gas only to know that the problem was somewhere else and again replaced the pcb. This time around this ac was out of warranty and a bill of approx 5000 + was handed to me. You would think the problem would be solved now but it is just getting started. Again post few months, the same problem arose and i complained to the local dealer again, this time he took the unit with him again asking me for money for replacement of pcb, fan motor and other compressor. Now i asked the dealer that how many time would you expect me to change the same parts when the whole unit has been malfunctioning since day 1. He said that this is not his concern and i could fight with the company if i wanted to. I inquired about the replaced part warranty and he told me there in no such thing as warranty on parts replaced. So basically, daikin is giving no warranty on parts replaced like any other chinese un-branded product in the market. Now the dealer wants me to pay for all the times he wrongly refilled gas due to wrong diagnosis, pcb and fan motor replaced over and over again only to hide the fact that there is a manufacturing fault in the product. This local dealer is now in illegal possession of two of my acs and is asking me for wrongful charges for bad product quality and manufacturing fault. Neither daikin nor the dealer is taking responsibility. This is just the story of one of the acs have a few more such horrible issues regarding service and product quality. Honest suggestion to please not by daikin acs as my opinion comes after having a total of more than 27 acs and suffering even after a huge investment with daikin india inverter acs.

                                  With reference to the above, i wish to bring to your notice that the 1.5t daikin inverter model air conditioner bought from your dealer chandra traders, on 26.04.2017 vide bill no. V/733/17-18 bearing serial number daikinftkp50rrv16 was repeatedly mal functioning.

                                  1. I bought this a/c in the month of april'17 with free installation offer
                                  From your dealer chandra traders and "snow city", daikin’s authorised service partner has done the installation. However, they have not given me an installation receipt at that time.

                                  2. The above two complaints which i have raised were attended by another service centre "shri velan enterprises" and they claimed that gas leakage issue is there due to installation defect.

                                  3. Since the date of installation i have run the ac continuously for the whole night *only twice* and on both occasions i was woken up at 4 a. M. With a siren kind of noise and showers of ice from indoor unit.

                                  4. The first compliant was attended on 24/10/2017 due to ice formation in indoor unit but service technician said that ice will form if there is any dust in filters and he cleaned the filters and left the actual problem of gas leakage unattended.

                                  5. After even less than 30 days on 21/11/2017 there was a ice formation and gas leakage issue again. That day also technicians were trying to misguide by giving false reasons, after insisting so much they have confirmed that there is a gas leakage problem.

                                  6. After so many follow-ups with company people, on 22/11/2017 they have confirmed that the unit was installed by m/s snow city who is not their authorized service provider, hence the unit won’t get covered under warranty terms and conditions.

                                  7. The worst part of all this issue is dealer is confirming that “snow city was authorized service partner of daikin at the time when i bought this ac, however, that service center has been closed now and company is saying that they have communicated to all the dealers not to get service from “snow city” in the month of january’17 itself. When i asked company people to provide the communication copy that they have sent to dealers, they confirmed that this communication has been made orally. How come such a big and reputed company share such a important information of “list of authorized service centers “orally to all dealers?

                                  8. Further the company people has requested to for further “pressure holding check at my premises, and they have input 140 psi and within 8 hours the holding pressure came down to 110 psi. So, company person called me and said that they are ready to replace the outdoor unit considering as a special case. When i asked them to replace the entire unit they said that they can’t replace entire unit.

                                  9. Finally, i have approached “consumer forum” and sent notices to below list of people through consumer care centre, guntur :

                                  A. M/s. Chandra traders, #24/6, 100 feet tharmani road, tansi nagar, (Near cee dee yes super market, velachery, chennai-600042. Tamilnadu.

                                  B. Daikin airconditioning india pvt ltd, f252, okhla industries area, phase-ii, new delhi-110020.

                                  C. Daikin airconditioning india pvt ltd, new no.484, old no.580, teynampet, annasalai, chennai-600006.

                                  D. Bajaj finserv, 3rd floor, kaba plaza, no. 27, l b. Road, indra nagar, opposite adyar bus depot, adyar, chennai, tamil nadu 600020.

                                  10. After sending these notices on 09/01/2018, sri velan enterprises people approached me for allowing them to psi check for release of pressure. After nearly one month when they checked the gas level, the holding pressure again reduced to 80 psi. (Ac was not under usage as service technicians has disconnected the ac).

                                  Immediate action expecting from company:

                                  1. As gas leakage is a recurrent problem and is a very *major* issue (Need not elaborate and highlight the problems of this issue), the only thing i require now in my right as a customer is value for my money. I have paid a premium price for your product. Hence by every way i am eligible for a replacement of this product. (Both indoor and outdoor units).

                                  2. As the product is under warranty i want immediate replacement of this product. Hence, i am approaching this appropriate forum for necessary reliefs.
                                  3. This is the worst service i have got from such a branded company was not expected from a customer friendly quality conscious concern like daikin.

                                  As the product is undef warranty, I want full replacement of both Indoor and Outdoor unit. After facing such a worst sercvice experience, now I don't want to take any kind of risk. If you see the mail chane, I have been asking for full product replacement as my right.

                                  With utmost hope i have lodged compliant in this portal. However, i have not received even a single call from DAIKIN Company people. It's very frustrating and annoying that company's are not responding against the complaints filed through CONSUMER FORUMS. THEN WHAT IS THE POINT IN MAINTAINING THESE KIND OF WEBSITES.

                                  Consumers are getting CHEATED AND HARASSED even after paying so much of money by such a reputed branded companies then WHOM SHOULD CONSUMER GO AND APPROACH FOR TAKING ACTION AGAINST THESE COMPANIES.

                                  It's very worst and pity that DAIKIN Customer care people are not even going through the case in detail and they are simply giving the same AUTO RESPONSE when i am insisting on FULL PRODUCT REPLACEMENT.

                                  I hope no FOOL will get 50000/- worth product installed with LOCAL ROAD SIDE TECHNICIANS for the FIRST TIME.

                                  I have bought this AC from Chandra Traders with free installation offer and unit was installed by SNOW CITY which is Daikin AUTHORIZED SERVICE CENTER earlier. The same has been confirmed by your Customer service people as well.

                                  2. When I had a discussion with Company Manager Mr. Sarath he told me that they have informed all Dealers not to take any service from SNOW CITY.
                                  3. However, when I asked him to provide the communication copy which company has circulated to all dealers, he mentioned that they have informed ORALLY.
                                  4. Now company is blaming DEALER and DEALER IS blaming COMPANY.

                                  5. This is completely MENTAL HARASSMENT for me, and I demand either to ask DEALER to give me REPLACEMENT or Company itself to REPLACE ME FULL UNIT.

                                  6.I am really not interested in one outdoor unit alone, because both Indoor & Outdoor units should be of same series.

                                  Please arrange for full REPLACEMENT instead of HARRASSING ME LIKE THIS.

                                    I had purchased an inverter ac on 12th April 2017 . It was not functioning from 25th September 2017. After somany Enquiries ( calls as well as mails) they had visited and tried to repair the machine. As they fail to resolve the problem they had replaced both the outdoor unit and indoor pcb on 16th Dec 2017.As a customer it's my right to get warranty extension for 1yr from the date of repair. When I contacted to the daikin office at Cochin they told that I'll get the mail regarding this 1 week after the replacement o[censored]nit. But till this time I didn't get any response and when I called to the daikin office Cochin they are not sure about the things. We got an information that free routine maintenance service durin warranty period for my ac is on
                                    1st 12/08/2017
                                    2nd 12/12/2017 and
                                    3rd 12/04/2018. I got this message only on 05 /12/2017 and that time it was
                                    complaint. I want to know about the warranty extension and the free maintenance services.

                                    minutes because when the insallation was done by dikin proffesional staff

They said its working like . I surely donot want this ac of low cooling like 5 yr old ac which no gas .

                                    kindly send a replacement team at my shop and refund my money and take the scrap from my shop and also cancel the service dealer ship of "DURGA REFRIGENRATION TAGORE GARDEN" because they was the first who installed my ac and said me plz call dikin technician for more help we are helpless .                                       I had purchased a daikin inverter air conditioner on april 2017 with one year warranty. It was not working from 2017 september onwards. I informed it to daikin customer service and to the shop where i had purchased the item. The technicians from shop as well as the company checked and told that some of its parts are damaged and must replace. They did not solved the problem yet and it's almost 70 days. During this time i had called many times to customer care and service technicians of cools services calicut. They are not even giving proper information. Now i am forced to file a case in consumer court against them.
