I have purchased daikin 1 ton inverter ac 2 years back. It suddenly stopped working couple of days back. Raised a complaint with customer care, they are prompt to send a technician.
Now the story starts. Technician is not bothered to check the indoor or outdoor unit for the problem, he just checked the error code on remote which is u2 and concluded that the problem is with pcb and demanded 500 rs for just the visit!
Moreover he is not bothered to open and check the outdoor unit to see what could be the problem with pcb (It could just be a burnt or faulty capacitor or resistor or diode)
Based on error code, he is blindly asking us to replace the pcb which costs 12k. As pcb comes along with the fan pcb alone cannot be replaced and both should be replaced together.

Seriously!!! What the crap!! Do daikin so called world class company designs so badly?
And why the hell do i need a technician to visit my place and paid 500 if he is just checking the error code on remote and suggesting a whole part replacement wihout checking the option of repair.

Can't i check the error code my self??

Daikin customer care, is the statement by your technician true that pcb along with the fan should be blindly replaced for error code u2 and it costs 12k and there is no option of repair? If yes then i pity myself for buying daikin ac by trusting your brand.

      I have purchased Four Daikan 2 Tonne A.c in July 2017, since the day of Purchase in one of the A.C when we start the A.C the water from A.C started to ooze out like Rainwater, even after constant calling the Local service center the problem is still not resolved even after one year, what is the use to purchase a new ac if we do not get after sales service, if the problem is not resolved by you within seven working days...

      Bought the ac in 2015 march, had to refill gas and change valve. Now service center says pcb needs replacing. The quality seems to be faulty as i have 3 daikin acs and there has been this same problem in 2 of them, 1 in my house and 1 in my shop.

      The ac cools for sometime in my shop and then stops cooling. I have to switch it off and then switch it on again.
      In my house inspite of refilling gas and valve change it takes 2 hours to cool my room.

        Dear there,

        We have purchase ac on 6/10/17 from surana's electronics, surat. After found that ac is stop working and unable to give cooling. We call surana's but they are excusing that they are unable to service the ac as it is far from the city area. So, i made a complaint to daikin customer care on 12th may 2018, my complaint no. Is 13995574. The customer care executive handle the complaint neatly and they forwarded the same to respective service provider their name is comfort enterprise and mr. Vimalbhai is the owner of the enterprise. After getting compalint on same day (12/5/18) mr. Vimal and their team didn't try to attend the complaint or even they didn't call us. I got their number from daikin customer care and talked with him. From last four days they are keep promising that for sure they will send technician by today, but till date he doesn't send anyone and even from last two days he is not picking up my calls. Seems like they are avoiding the customers.

        I am requesting you to kindly send the technician as early as possible as this ac is we installed on very costly and heavy textile machinery control panel. We are requesting you to kindly give this ac repair immediately else if our machine panel or machine will overheated and will got damage or occured any incident due to your faulty ac we will take a very hard action against you people.

                Dear sir,
                I have purchased an ac on 19 feb 2017 and ur engineer has installed it. After installing as i have used it it has started noise in outdoor unit. After that i have registered complaint at ur customer care and then engineer has visited and checked ac. After some days it has the same problem and again engineer visited but the problem has not resolved. I have registered complaints many time but still the problem is same.
                I am very disappointed with ur services. I am facing the problem from the starting date but u r not able to resolve ur customers problem. Its my humble request please resolve my problem.

                As i registered my complaint on consumer complaints portal after 2 days daikin customer care representative has called me and asked about problem. i have explained my problem and he has raised a complaint and said that out daikin technician will contact you soon. after 2 days the technician has called me and ask to visit the site. i said ok and he came to check the problem but that time the problem has not been resolved and he said to bring the unit at company workshop. next day they brought unit at workshop and checked it. after solving the problem they have angain installed unit at my home and now it is working fine. after that cutomer care representative called me and ask about problem resolution. i said the problem has resolved. But again after 10 to 15 days the problem started and i again registered the complaint but till now the issue has not resolved. i asked the technician about the problem even he dont know why the problem is raising again and again. Sir, daikin has supplied me a defective peace. and they are not even trying to resolve my problem. Thank you.

                Sir, my issue has not resolved yet. As I explained earlier that it will work fine for 5-10 days so it's raising noise again. About this I again registered a complaint On 03/06/2019 and again engineer visited and putted some piece of rubber into it the noise has disappear for 3-4 hours. And now on 5/06/2019 it's raising loud noise.
                Sir I am completely frustrated from the daikin's services and it's engineers services. They are trying to fix the problem by using some piece of rubber.
                Sir, Daikin has supplied me a completely defected piece but now they want to fix the problem by inserting the pieces of rubber in between the different parts of outer unit. What the rubbish they are doing. Daikin has looted 40000 rs. And now they are not trying to give the customer support.
                Sir I have shared some images of outer unit in which you I'll come to know that how they have have done JUGAD to solve the problem by inserting pieces of rubber. And I also shared my AC bill.

                  We bought daikin air conditioner on 28/4/2018 and got fixed on 2/05/18 from 3 rd day water is leaking from the air conditioner. We thought it due to poor fixing but later we called the service person he told that the product is defective inside the ac. When we contact the dealer he suggest to post an online complaint. Water is continuously leaking. Please send the service person and get this fix or please replace our air conditioner. We are completely up set with the air conditioner. Please resolve this problem as soon as possible

                    I brought a new Daikin AC on 30/03/2018 not even one month completed it's not cooling. so I logged a call to Daikin customer care 28/04/2018 reference no:[protected]call logged from this no [protected])on next day they came and checked and they said that gas got leaked and need to refill and they said that for refilling the gas need to pay 3500 RS as you have installed by third-party.so i argued with that engineer and called vijay who is the Vijayawada branch service manager mobile no: [protected] he is no even speaking politely with me and tell that you have installed third-party installation and It will not claim under warranty and I told him that not even shopkeeper told me that if our engineer will not install you will not get any warranty on this product and he is telling that it is in our warranty policy.And telling that we will not replace the product. And I went near shop and told that this is the situation and not even he is also responding. And stopped arguing with him and told that engineer to fix the issue and he filled the gas noteven 3 days again same problem and called him again and they came next day and checked and they told me that there is a problem in indoor unit and they have removed and taken to VIJAYAWADA service center and after 3 day he came back and filled some gas in outdoor unit and said need to check if any leakage in that and next day he came and checked stating that there is a leak in outdoor unit also and need to take to Vijayawada service center and for indoor unit there is an leak. And he told that you got a faulty product now, only the connecting pipe are there..

                    So please please replace my product with new one as soon as possible.

                    If there is any terms and conditions are they you people need to educate the customers and shopkeeper first before buying your product not simply selling your products to public and earning money.

                    I thought this daikin AC company has a premium product rather that other product AC but waste of money and time.

                      I had lodged complain on 26th april. Service engineer visited on 27th april and said that a part needs to be replaced. He assured that replacement will take place in 2 working days. After 5-6 days when i didn't receive any call from service desk, i called "customer service" on [protected] and asked the tentative date when my ac will get repair. I talked with several person in customer service desk but i was not getting proper response. I called customer service desk several times but not getting my problem solved.
                      Every time they are giving assurance but my ac is not getting repaired.
                      I am now worried whether daikin has "after sale service" or they just sale and forget.

                        We have recently got our ac swing blade replaced from daikin dealer and had paid rs. 1300+taxes on that. But just after 3 months o[censored]se it has again become non-functional. I believe that the ac swing blade is of cheaper quality and is not from original also. Now they are again charging me for the swing blade and also the visiting charges.

                        Please resolve this issue.
                        1) replace my ac swing blade with original daikin ac swing blade.
                        2) provide some warranty on that.
                        3) you cannot charge again for the thing purchased 3 months back.

                          I have 2 vrv outdoor units and 9 indoor ac unit since 2014.
                          This low quality units need very high maintenance. I have replaced pcb of one outdoor vrv unit for 37000rs on around 2016. And now it’s time to replace another outdoor unit’s pcb as out of my 9 ac, any one will stop operating and turns into fan mode at any time.
                          My dealer has ordered pcb 7 days ago, but i have not received pcb till now.
                          This disgusting diakin company can’t even supply their spares to their customers.

                              I have four daikin inverter acs in my house.

                              3 of them were purchased in 2016. I started having problem with one of them within a year and after spending a lot of money on repairing, i decided to replace it with another inverter ac. Again i went with daikin inverter ac trusting the brand.

                              Now, i purchased another inverter ac from sargam electronics, lajpat nagar 2, new delhi on 21st april 2018 (Ftkg50tv16u) 2018 5 star (Model pic attached)

                              And to my horror, the fan, from the very first day is making weird noises (Video attached. It's 1/10 of noise that i have to go through every night for a new ac with minimum fan). After getting it checked by your authorised service partner, i was told that fan motor is faulty (Complaint ref. Number del[protected]). Now i have been running from pillar to post and even after lodging a complaint with your service partner, my problem is not being resolved. I call your customer care, they say it will be taken care of and then put me through ivr for feedback. Then technicians visit, they say fan motor is faulty, please call customer care and tell them this. Then i call customer care again, they again send some technicians. They tell me the same thing and ask to call daikin customer care. Then again the same stupid process. Be on a call with daikin customer care for 20 minutes trying to explain but of no use. What the hell?? Resolve your customer's issues first and then ask questions. What is my fault??? That i trusted your brand again and was thinking that may be one older ac was faulty??? That's like 2 out of 4 daikin acs are ok??? Daikin 50% acs are good and 50% are pathetic??

                              I paid for the ac and i expect proper product from you, not some third grade product. What the hell is this??? I would be going to the consumer court and will recover all damages as i have all the proofs and will sue you. I want my ac changed asap. Trust you me.

                                For your kind information i purchased a 1.50 split a. C. W/o kit as on dated[protected] from kumar electronics narela delhi 110040 in which i found that from the date of purchase to till now no any your representative contact us to do service and when i faced the problem as on dated[protected] i registered a complaint about breakdown and no cooling vide service request no:- del[protected] as on dated[protected] at 10.00 a. M. On urgent basis than your customer care representative he told me that within 4 hours your engineer solve the problem but your engineer don't contact me within 4 hours than i my self called the engineer whose contact no is [protected] and i said him all the problem gas leaking and no cooling problem in a. C he told me that he will solve the problem till yesterday evening after that at evening when i called him he refused to attend the problem yesterday by telling me that he will come today about 11.00 am. And assured me that if gas leaked than he will put the gas immediately as he told me that he come today at 11.00 am. Along with gas kit but today when i called him he again refused me about gas putting and told me that he will come today evening.

                                So your engineer making me fool by telling me lie again and again and he don't attend the complaint till now, so this is not a good thing for your company it effects the reputation of the company, so i am totally depressed with behavior of your company and your representative.

                                So if your company don't take any action immediately without fail against the same than i will take a legal action against your company and your engineer also immediately and your company will be liable to pay any kind of expenses related to the same.

                                  We'd purchased a set of 20 vrv indoor units under 2 outdoors in the year 2016. Since the project began we were facing one problem or the other. The distributor anyhow kept us convincing and did the work complete until we found that the set of indoors under one outdoor are not working properly (8 units). Since three months we've been contacting our distributor and also company personnel but they're only fooling us saying that vrvs are not so cooled as acs. That vrv only makes the room cool and does't give chilling. Like how can this be true? And now they've even started speaking rude with us. They're saying there is no problem with their acs and are deeming the complaint close. Tell me, isn't the customer satisfaction anything? Will they treat such a big customer in this way that they are not even ready to look at the issue and just say there is no issue at all? Is this the way a mnc treat us.
                                  Trust me daikin is a worst company. I only regret not having gone for mitsubhishi which is a much better company than daikin. They're just spineless. The company doesn't stand for the customer, they stand for their dealers.

                                    I have purchased daikin f/jtkm50s on[protected] from future solutions, ahmedabad. It is under warranty now.
                                    The sales executive’s name is alpeshbhai.
                                    After purchasing ac i have called him everyday to fit the ac, but he always postponed it and lastly after 15days he had done installation.

                                    Presently the ac does not give the cooling. I have called mr. Alpeshbhai for service, but he is not responding on phone. I have called 15-20 times but he is resistant to it.
                                    He talks in a inhuman and loud way. So, after that i told him loudly that why are you not responding, am i free always to call you repeatedly? Alpeshbhai told that now he will not provide any service to me at any cost and will give false statements to daikin company/seniors about me.
                                    I am doctor by profession and i don’t have a time for this rubbish discussion.

                                    So, it means that i pay high amount for good reputed daikin brand and won’t get any service. Is this the reputed daikin’s service? Is it how the daikin person talk with customers in loud and bad language? I didn’t expected this manner from daikin sales/service person.

                                    If you can do something about this, do it.

                                      It's been 2 days a newly packed ac untouched just because of poor service from the seller& daikin customer services. Almost 20 hours doing a constant follow up, by phone, mail it's nightmare.
                                      No response and after 20 hours i am receiving some baseless claims and assurance. Already spread news to my friends circle etc atleast they shud not make mistakes
