    i am rameshwar dass and my account no. is JB53-2041. meter reader is not going to take reading in time. so meter reader is shown in bill reading from 75893 to 72000 november 2010 back. i have alreay paid the advance amount this bill and complaint many times in dhbvn office but the duty officer dont correct my bill and not give any response about this matter.i hope u will correct my bill and i paid the bill in time . please correct my bill.       We wre getting excess electricity bill for above mentioned flat in which I am living on RENT. I have approached the SDO, DHBVN sector3 office on[protected] the bill amount was 28500/- for 2600 unit, where the authority told me, that there is rates were revised and this is old bill charges so you deposite the bill. As a citizen I accepted and deposit the total bill, now again I got the bill for 24545/ for 3600 units. I was shocked to see the bill, when I checked the my total Load as per DHBVN norms is 750 units per month max.. so it should be 1500 units for 2 months where as I am getting the bill for 3600 units . After this I approached to SDO office again and given the complaint in writing directly to SDO, this time SDO told me that you deposit the bill and give this complaint to His CLERK. this was incidence of 29-09-13. As the concerned person not available on that day, I visited again on 01-10-13. and met SDO. he has given the mobile no. of the person and told me you contact that person. I contacted the concerned person, he asked me to check the present meter reading and informed him he told me that from 08-09-13 to 01-10-13 the bill amount is approx.10, 000/ alraedy reached. As we are only using the following appliances ; 1. Tube lights 40 Watt 3 nos. for 5 hrs., 2. CFL 20 watt 3 nos. for 6 hrs., ceiling fan 4 nos for 12 hrs., fridge 500W i, e, 280L LG make 24 hrs., Window AC 1500 Watt for 2hrs., Split AC 1800W for 2 hrs. the above is load for which I am getting the bill of Rs24545/. concerned person from DHBVN office told me to replace the meter, I told me change the same and show me the electrical load consumption as per the load or get the meter report from your Lab. I request DHBVN to check the same and refund the excess amount paid by me. .

          Dear sir I, Dashrath Kumar Sharma, have been residing in Faridabad & availing the services of Dakshin Haryana Vitran Nigam (DHVN). In October, 2012 my meter had burnt because of which the electricity supply was cut. I had given written complaint to Mr. N.P. Singh Rana J.E. of Electricity office, Sarai, Faridabad. Complaint no. Or receiving copy of the complaint was not provided. After 10 days personnel from electricity department had visited my house & inspected the meter. He confirmed that the meter is faulty. After innumerable visits to the electricity office, new meter was installed in June, 2013. I received a bill in August, 2013 amounting to Rs. 23, 690/- which shows the old reading as 2146 and new reading as 0. My monthly electricity consumption is approx. Rs. 600/- then how was I given such a inflated bill. I was not in a position to pay such a hefty bill and the electricity personnel had cut the electricity on 2-Sep-2013 due to non-payment of bill. New connection was provided & re-filing was done, which was not necessary as only faulty meter had to be replaced. I had made a payment of around Rs. 3000/- to the various employees but received receipt of only Rs. 790/- I am working as a carpenter & my daily wages are Rs. 200 per day. I had to take leave from my work to visit the electricity office innumerable times (10 times in a month for 9 months) For 9 months, I was surviving without any electricity in my home. After installing the new meter, I received such a hefty bill. Electricity consumption in my house is limited to one fan & one light.               My Account No FF20 4438/ Sub Division F32 (No 1, Ballabgarh), Bill No - 1358 (Cycle 7D) dated 30.08.2013. Units Consumed - 605 SOP Charges - First 500 Units @ Rs 5.98 Balance 105 Units @ Rs 5.60 As per Tariff Rates fixed, First slab upto 500 units is @ Rs 4.90, while charged in the bill @ Rs 5.98. I went to CA, SDO, but all in vain. No body ready to listen.

                My K. No.: [protected], Account No. : PP25-3158, my all dues are clear till feb. 13, after that i have received dues Rs. 4792/- in April month, Rs. 7723/- in June and now Rs. 10100/- without any meter checking, my Total meter reading since date of installation is 1092 unit as of now and has paid Rs. 6484 on it. I have launch a complain last year but they have not resolved it and I had to pay that extra amount from my pocket (all the complaint Xerox copy is available with me), the same was repeated this year also, this is happening with all in my area, and they are not listening of any one and without any notification there person snatching meter with force in my area. want to solution with this DADA GiRi

                  Dear Sir, In july month reading counter has noted wrong units 28959 but actual it was 26985.Due to his miscounting bill generated for units 2367 which was 16495. I personally go to dhbvn & give written complaint regarding that & corrected it as per the actual reading i had paid rs 2400 on 27/6/2013 after correction.Now again same problem arising in august.no bill provided to me for july to august month . but on net i got bill amount of rs 26620 whose old unit was 28958 & new unit was 28958..Afake unit difference arises on 1642 consumed shown .Why this happening again & again.                       This complaint is being filed for my father, Jagdish Singh, R/O house no. 426, Sector 21 A, Faridabad.
                      His electrical bills are as follows:
                      July 2013- Rs. 47,539
                      May 2013- Rs. 1,494
                      March 2013- Rs. 4,656
                      Jan 2013- Rs. 4,342
                      Nov 2012- Rs. 3,824
                      Sep 2012- Rs. 4,868
                      July 2012- Rs. 6,203
                      May 2012- Rs. 2,534
                      In spite of his advanced age, he has been trying to find out the reason for the July inflated bill but has not been able to. As he retired, he is unable to pay the bill amount. Please advice what he may do in this regard.

                      Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam — Inflated billing

                      We are maintaining the electricity connection on behalf of our Client bearing account number l661/2018 under operation sub divn Kosli. We were billed for 27082 units in one month without recording any meter reading from the site. We are supplied power for less than 8 hours per day. Technically our connected load of 12 kw can not consume more than 7000 units in one month for round the clock running. We represented to correct the bill as per actual consumption but instead of looking into our genuine and legally correct request the supply is permanently disconnected. Similalrly we are being billed for32000 units in one month for the load of 12kw for a/c no H-121/0415 under sub urban sub divn Ratia which is even technically not feasible. Our pleadings are not looked in to and this connection is also likely to be disconnected. The Nigam officials are harrasing the consumers who wish to pay the electricity bills promptly. The official attitude is defaulter friendly.
                      I agree with the compliant as i am bearing the same case of wrongly mentioning of meter reading by the officials of electricity board for which we the consumers have to run here & there to get it corrected. But still there is no redressal of our compliants. The honest persons always bear while the dishonest persons use the electricity even without paying the bill by lots of differenet means . Rightly mentioned by someone that electricity department is defaulter friendly.

                        submitting our bill timely. it comes in two months on asumption bases

                        don's have responcebilyty regarding our bill in last month we have
                        extra bill problem which was totally fake rs 3000.and they reduced our
                        bill to rs 800 when i visited in office they said some how it hav come
                        but not be repeted. i submitted my bill which riciept no is 16092837
                        on[protected] then but now they gvn bill of rs 6000 and now they are
                        not even listining me and saying you hav to submmited 2000rs which is
                        not matching with my cosumed unit you can chek it what my meter is
                        saying ?
                        so my question is only that what we should pay the bill which is
                        comming on the fake basses or what my meter reding is saying ?
                        because reding is too less which bill they have generated ,alloted
                        and distributed to us. plz plz do something i don't want to go for
                        rti and any other option if i m honest then every thing should be pure
                        to coin to me and it should be ?

                        DHBVN — ELECTRICITY SHUTDOWN

                        Everyday, the electricity gets cut during the whole night atleast 10 times. This is causing a lot of issues in the locality. Even due to so many cuts during the day, the amount of bill i get on a bi monthly basis is around 5000 Rs. I am not sure why this is the case. This has to be looked into right away.
                        the main transformer behind milan vatika sector 11 faridabad have been giving irregular power supply because of been overload, on several occasion either the mcb box get burn out or the fuzes get blown, each time the SDO & JE are contacted but no response, at the end linemans have to be paid what ever they demand to restore electricity at night, please help!

                          For electrification of Our colony submit a application to DHBVN Mathura Road Faridabad for the year 2011. After one year DHBVN gives our colony Transfer & Pole for the year 2012. After one year they install pole accordingly for the year 2013.But they don't gives Service ware. I know about this why this work is delay last 3 years. what is the problem ????.

                            the supply of adequate voltage in our colony is pathetic.

                            Airconditioners at our home dont work at night. Supplying proper electicity is one of the duty of government, which is not being duly met.

                              Dear Sir Dated 24th September, 2012
                              Reg: Refund of Excess Billing A/c No. DD-12-0329
                              (K.No.[protected]) - S K Gupta H. No.499, Sector-19, Faridabad
                              You are requested to please refund a sum of Rs.12215.86 (Rupees Twelve Thousand Two Hundred Fifteen & Paid Eight Six only) to me as detailed hereunder:-
                              A. Bill (Due Date) 31.01.2012 for 760 units for the period of 61 days from 07.11.2011 (Reading 47131) to 07.01.2012 (Reading 47891) for Rs.3348/- was paid on 27.01.2012. (No Dispute till this date)
                              The Old Electric Meter was replaced by DHBVN with Electronic Meter in the month of January 2012 by within 2 days of the removal of old meter for the reasons best known to DHBVN, as my old meter was thoroughly checked by DHBVN and was found to be quite accurately working/OK. Thus there was no fault of any sort on my part.

                              However my nightmare started with the receipt of the following Bills:
                              B. Bill (Due Date) 29.03.2012 for 2640 units for the period of 61 days from 07.01.2012 (Reading 47891) to 07.03.2012 (Reading 0- No body read the meter installed in January 2012) for Rs.13654.24 . When I pointed out this discrepancy, I was asked to pay Rs.8000/- and was assured that the next bill will refund the excess charged. I immediately complied and Rs.8000/- was paid on 28.03.2012.
                              C. Bill (Due Date) 30.05.2012 for 2419 units for the period of 61 days from 07.03.2012 (Reading 1) to 07.05.2012 (Reading 1225) for Rs.13248/- . When I pointed out this discrepancy, I was asked to pay Rs.10000/- and was assured that the next bill will refund the excess charged. I immediately complied and Rs.10000/- was paid on 28.05.2012.

                              DHBVN — Excess billing since last 4 months

                              I am resident of NH IV, QR No. 1531/II, Faridabad and I have received bill for more than 20, 000/-. The case is excess billing and the same is verified by the concerned JE. The same is informed to the SDO, in No.III, Faridabad, despite the problem still exists. I had already made a complaint on the website of DHBVNL vide complaint No. 328NON dated 11.02.2009. But nothing has happedned and my problem still exists. It is requested that the matter may be short out.

                              Received a bill of staggering amount of 38, 387/- (Thirty eight thousand three hundred and eigty seven) Which is quite high I have been using the same equipment as early nothing new has been added which can increase the electricity bill. I have not received such a high bill for the past many years. I am also enclosing the photo copies of the bills as hard copy. There seems to be major error cropped in resulting to such a inflated bill.

                              A. Bill (Due Date) 31.01.2012 for 760 units for the period of 61 days from 07.11.2011 (Reading 47131) to 07.01.2012 (Reading 47891) for Rs.3348/- was paid on 27.01.2012. (No Dispute till this date)
                              The Old Electric Meter was replaced by DHBVN with Electronic Meter in the month of January 2012 by within 2 days of the removal of old meter for the reasons best known to DHBVN, as my old meter was thoroughly checked by DHBVN and was found to be quite accurately working/OK. Thus there was no fault of any sort on my part.

                              However my nightmare started with the receipt of the following Bills:
                              B. Bill (Due Date) 29.03.2012 for 2640 units for the period of 61 days from 07.01.2012 (Reading 47891) to 07.03.2012 (Reading 0- No body read the meter installed in January 2012) for Rs.13654.24 . When I pointed out this discrepancy, I was asked to pay Rs.8000/- and was assured that the next bill will refund the excess charged. I immediately complied and Rs.8000/- was paid on 28.03.2012.
                              C. Bill (Due Date) 30.05.2012 for 2419 units for the period of 61 days from 07.03.2012 (Reading 1) to 07.05.2012 (Reading 1225) for Rs.13248/- . When I pointed out this discrepancy, I was asked to pay Rs.10000/- and was assured that the next bill will refund the excess charged. I immediately complied and Rs.10000/- was paid on 28.05.2012.

                                I have to complain about dereliction of duty by the staff of DHBVN we are being exploited since May 2012 I am explaining the complaints which I am facing due to their dereliction of duty as follows.
                                In the bill for the month of December 2012. There was a penalty of MDI exceeding from sanctioned demand while MDI was under the sanctioned demand. I submitted a complaint to the SDO for the same on[protected] in the local office situated at Sec-18, Gurgaon for removing penalties from the bill and it had been rectified in the same bill but it was charged again in the month of January in arrears which was not legitimate while I had put the request for the same earlier and then I submitted another request for the same on 07/02/2013. I paid the total due of January month and the excess penalties which had been extorted from me should have been adjusted into the billing of February but it has not been adjusted even the billing of February. So I request you to kindly provide us justice we are being expoited by this departments people and this is happening since May 2012 we have to pay so many visits to get billing rectified sometime the concern person does not remain on the seat and some time it is being delayed

                                  I took this connection in April'2012 , after that i am receiving Electricity bill in every 2 month but every time wrong billing around 2500 INR more then actual bill. So every time i go to Bijli board & paying bill after correction with the help of old bill payments.
                                  But now i have misplaced my Nov,12 bill so i am facing problem during correction of my Jan;13 bill so i need to pay Nov;12 bill again around 2000INR. I can not pay the same bill twice because i am not so rich.

                                      I have many problems regarding electricity bill from Faridabad office.My K.N No.is [protected] in name of Basanti Devi.
                                      1st Major problem. They never give bill on time only 1day before due date and they close online service. most of the time we are in office and not able to go to DHBVN office then we have to pay penalty mostly. They should provide online service and they should provide bill on time. We should have minimum time to pay.
                                      2nd Problem is : They never send bill at home address. We have to go to 1 place from there we have to collect our electricity bill. They should send this bill through courier but they never do the same.
                                      3rd Problem is : I had sent many time online address change request but no update done as on date.
                                      4th Problem is : Their is no customer services contact number not even email id for these types complaint. Whenever I logged complain in online portal : Grievance but it never shows any status on this and when i check the status it shows no grievance.
                                      5th Problem is : No Provision to resolve our problem.
                                      Kindly resolve my problem. This is really big issue here in Faridabad. People are facing this problem but no one is listening.
