I booked Akash Tab (UBISLATE 7+) in the month of February, 2012 and sent the four cheques (Cheque No.525888, 525889, 562554, 527908) of Rs. 2, 999 each (2, 999x4) to the 'Datawind Innovations Pvt Ltd' on February 29, 2012 via speed post no. EM[protected]JN, which was received at their end and released. However we have not received tablet till date (approx one year). considering the series of promises by Datawind team for delivery of Tab and inability to achieve any of them, we are left with no choice but to ask for refund of the cash paid, but we have neither received Tab or refund. can any body help us in this matter and guide us to take legal action.

I have ordered Ubislate7cz tablet made by Datawind and also made a online payment for that.

order date and payment date:18/01/2013
At the time of ordering their website shows that you will get your product within 2 weeks.
But now when i checked the status on their website, it still not dispatched.
so deliver it as early as possible otherwise give me my money back.

I had booked an aaksah tablet (ubislate) with Datawind ( in Amritsar) in March 2012.. My booking Id is "PME92B3E3F2". I had made an advance payment of Rs.2999 by cheque at the time of booking. As per their claims on their website, the customers who make advance payments were to be delivered the tablet within 1 month. But till November they did not deliver. Each time I complained to them they said that they will definitely deliver the product within one month. In November 2012 I asked them to cancel my order and to refund my money. They sent me a mail asking for my bank account details. I replied to them accordingly. But its February 2013 and they have not refunded me my money. I have sent them dozens of mails requesting them for refund and for an update. But they are not responding to my mails as well.
So, its almost 1 year now and despite of making an advance payment I have neither received the tablet nor my money. Its nothing but fraud. And now, I just dont know how to get back my money.

I book Aakash Tab. My order no. is PM4A837D59AA. I make my payment of Rs. 3999.00 (after getting 1000.00 discount by using coupan) through my HDFC Credit Card on 30 jan 2013. I Cant get my tab till date and not get any dispatch detail of the same. I contact datawing company through its toll free number many times but noone pick the phone.

I booked my Ubislate7Cplus Tablet on 31st Jan, 2013 by paying the money through HDFC Credit Card and the booking ID is PMA9A08. I have received a conformation email after booking the tablet. I have checked the website about the status of my tablet and it still shows the status as Order Received. Although while booking the tablet it was written that it would be delivered in 72 hours but till now I haven't received any email or SMS from your side confirming about the delivery of my tablet.

I am very anxious to get my new tablet. I have also written 2 emails to them but they do not care to reply. I also to call their customer care but they do not respond.

Could you please take this complaint forward and help me in getting my tablet.

KINDLY BE AWARE OF DATAWIND, AND DONT ORDER FROM COMPANY WEBSITE. THOSE GUYS SAY THAT TABLETS ARE AVAILABLE AND MAKE US BOOK. BUT LATER THEY SAY THAT STOCK IS OUT.
YOU CANT EVEN REACH THEM , THEY KEEP THEIR PHONES BUSY , AND THEIR TOLL FREE PHONE LINE IS BUSY ALWAYS ! LOL.

i had pre booked ubislate 7r+ on 10th of november 2012 which was to be delivered by 10th dec but they informed on 3rd december that the product is unavailable and we can either upgrade or take refund so i applied refund on the same day and they said they will refund in 10 days but its now 2 months and they hav not refunded and keep on asking information wen ever they pick the col by mistake and give the insurence that they would do in 4 days.. and the person on the phone some bakul doon has no information and forwards to a cheat called arvind arora..

I booked my order at 18th Jan 2013 through online booking with using of my credit card. As per company commitment i have to get my tablet in next 72 hours but i did not get anything till now. I tried to contact them and send several mail but did not get any response as well. Now i am getting afraid that i will get anything or not or the company is fake. Now i am very much worried about my money and thinking to contact with my credit card provider to get the payment back or claim.

Please help me on this i am not a very rich person

This is my Forth mail for the same, i had booked Aakash Tablet long back and then i got the mail for the updated Tablet and then i booked for the upgraded Aakash 7Ci. I got the delivery on 14th or 15th Jan 2013 for Rs 4199 on cash delivery whose code is P[protected]. When i opened it, i was shock to see the Tablet condition which you all had send me. Its broken, Its screen is moving/coming out and also there are to many scratches on the screen of the tablet and i feel its not the brand new piece which you have send me.

Sorry to say that but i am very disappointed from you all. I am sending you the photos of the tablet which shows the broken screen and scratches on the screen as an attachment. Its not the brand new piece from the factory outlet because there are many games and apparatus and gadget which are loaded which gives the feel that some one had used it before and also so many scratches on the screen
.
So i kindly request you to refund me for the same or replace the Aaksah 7Ci Tablet with brand new 7C+ an upgraded version.
Or i will go to the Consumer court, So please reply or face the consequences.

I had booked for AKASH tablet in November 2011 (Pre-booking No:PS52640). On my repeated reminders, I was asked to pay advance payment of Rs:2999/- in March 2012. Myself paid the same amount in March 2012. I have got the reply also (DDNo:589963 dated 12/3/2012 for Rs2,999 of State bank of India, Thumba Branch, Kerala). For several emails, there were no replies. Finally in November 2012, I mailed to refund the amount. Then the company came with a new offer that they are ready to give latest item 'Ubislate 7Ci' for an extra price of Rs:3499/- which may be paid at the time of delivery and the item will get within 10 days. This is happened on 21-st Nov. 2012. No today is 27-th Januray 2013. I didn't get any reply regarding the delivery of the item. I had done so many communications between this period, some were replied that ' You will get the item within 10 days, 15days etc.' But no delivery happened so far. Finally I have applied for refund of the item. There also no reply.

I want to get the item delivered within one week or refund the cash immediately with interest.

for that they mailed me that UBISLATE 7+ is not availabe go for another product or mail to [protected]@datawind.com to get refund of your amount so I mailed for refund till now there's no mail from them .

Dear sir / mam I am [removed] I have booked my aakash tablet on may 2012 i also send a demand draft of rs 2999 to datawind[protected] which was cleared till august. they all were making me fool till 2nd week of october, then they offered me an offer that if i want to upgrade to new model then you have to pay 500 extra and you will surely get your device within in a week, I re contacted and they just delaying all the work due to all hard work and my efforts they finally provided me the dispatching details with DTDC couriers ( AWB No. I[protected] My Device was booked from delhi office of datawind[protected] on Wed, Oct 31, 2012, 12:00 AM but no device approached to me till a week I contacted DTDC head office delhi they said that you must contact your local office for information regarding your device I contacted and due to my hard work I got it on Nov 27, 2012 I opened the box also made an unboxing video of the same the device was packed well no scratches but I could not able to find warranty card user manual OTG cable I ignored that thing I switch on the device and try to connect to WI-Fi. I try again and again to connect to Wi-Fi but It was not connecting I contacted datawind they said that you must factory restore your device I also tried but nothing happened they said that you must send your device to delhi and we will send to you within 10 days I decided to ship through Bluedart couriers with AWB No. [protected] on 28 - Nov - 2012 which was delivered on 29 - Nov - 2012 I also paid Rs 310 to bluedart office which was not paid by datawind (and they say that you have free 1 year warranty ) but after 10 days no device received I recontacted but they were again fooling me yesterday I contacted them and they said they do not have the stock but actually they have they are taking new orders and delivering them within 48 hrs actually if they sell online they will get 4500 and if they send me they will get 0 bucks that's why Dear sir/mam please broadcast this message Datawind is the most fraud company they just have billions of rupees(black-money) and cheat people many of me are suffering please help my booking id is PM183FD my address is [removed]

Also a receipt was generated after the payment confirmation of which the screenshot is attachhed and as per what was mentioned on making the online payment the product wa supposed to be delivered in 3-4 weeks. But still the status shown on URL aapkiaap.com/cod.status.htm is "Order Received" which means there seem no chance of delivery.
I kindly request you to either process the request to delivery of product or help me to get my money back.

its a long story.

sent check in march 2012 for akash tablet
received the tablet in aug 2nd week after many phone calls and emails.
i just used it one day(just charged it for 8 hours) and tech issues started. Tech support told me to download and do something and i did it by going to internet service center spending 300rs..... it is use less and again
called many time to tech support and said to contact hyderabad tech support at raviryala wich is more than 60 km away from me .. how ever manage to go to that place and try to get it repair the tech people said they cannot repair it and need to send it to Amritsar and i have send it spending 250 and

received the repaired tablet in dec 3rd week but now charger was not working
WHEN CALLED TECH SUPPORT AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING THEY SAID (RAAGHAV, HARPREET, RAJWINDAR KAUR) TO SEND BACK THE FAULTY CHARGER TO GET FREE NEW CHARGER...

TILL DATE I NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING.
VERY FRUSTRATED AND JUST SPEND APROX 5000 RS SIMPLY ONE ELECTRONIC DEVICE WHICH I NEVER USED IT...

I Ordered an Ubislate 7Ci (order no: PM8BF4D) after getting an offer from "Aakash Tablet Ubislate Datawind" (Payment Amount: Rs. 4499/-Payment Date: 21.12.2012) with a guarantee statement saying that the shipment will be done within 10 days. It has been one month and neither I have not received the Product nor any shipment tracking no (AWB no) from Datawind. Frustrated I cancelled my my order. After that there has been no communication from customer support center whatsoever. Am I being cheated by Datawind?

That product delivery time in first weak nov 12.
