I am writing this complaint hereby to inform that we received bill 05/11/2018 with a reading of 1410 and consumption o[censored]nit 37, the amount rs 757 already paid. Now we received a bill on 19/03/2019 with a reading of 1513 and consumption o[censored]nit 74 in 35 days which is wrong as our bill should be of 103units in 165days and must be charged accordingly.

It seems our water bill has been made on the basis of average.

I am user of water connection (K no.[protected] at house no.89 (Ff), a4 block, paschim vihar, delhi-110063. On receipt of a message on my mobile no.[protected], i have downloaded the water bill from djb site and found a bill dated 11-mar-2019 amounting to rs 19060/- (For the period from 25-mar-2018 to 23-jan-2019) due for payment up to 28-mar-2019. The consumption has been averaged and reading/meter status has been shown as mloc (Meter locked). It is shocked to me that my parents are very much present at home and nobody has come for meter reading and the status has been shown as mloc which seems to be a bogus activity. It can't be possible for one year our meter was locked and nobody was there at home. Actually, we were in the impression that our bill is 0₹ as previous year there was no bill as per the usage. I was served of a water bill for rs 1200+/-on 25.04.2019. The reading as on 26.12.2018 was 832 kw. Reading as on 25.04.2019 906kw that means 73 kw for 4 months. That way bill should have been nil, i visited your office 26.04.2019 for rectification of bill not nothing has been so far. The reason gave by the officers is that server is not working even after lapse of two weeks. Please look into the matter

Dear sir I Consumer Kno: [[protected]], have been getting excessive bill for water for quite some time now.. last time also I received the bill of 1171inr which I paid as good citizen and thinking that next time bill might come less but this time the bill has come in excess of the previous bill 1203 inr. I stay with my wife and theres hardly any usage of the water at our place.. what can i do to make this bill right.. i am sure there is something wrong with the billing

The meter reader mentioned the wrong current reading status as rddt because according to him the unit reading was not increasing but the fact is that we do not waste too much water and keep the use of water minimal. Our meter is working and in good condition, i am enclosing here the screenshot of the meter reading and the bill.

Kindly note that my apartment was rented out till october 2018 and since then it has been lying vacant with no water usage at all.

When the last tanent had left in october, a bill was raised for inr 16, 615 with meter status as "ns". How can they raise a bill of rs 16, 615 when the meter status is "ns"? No one from delhi jal board bothers to check the meter.

I had no clue why the bill was so high but i still paid the bill.

The apartment has been lying vacant since november 2018 but i have received another bill of rs 4781 and the status of meter is being shown as "mloc". This is absolute lie since meters are never locked. This person who is responsible for meters is not reaching at all to check the meters it seems.

I went to the apartment (Since i do not stay there) and i was shocked to see that the meter is not working and all these bills were being raised without any basis and i was wrongly charged earlier which i paid and i have been wrongly charged now.

To my mind the local employee of delhi jal board is responsible for this as he not only did not bring this to our notice that the meter was faulty, but also reported wrong consumption. To my mind, this person is not doing his job at all and is penalising consumers without any basis.

I request you to kindly look into this urgently and resolve this otherwise, i would be forced to take legal action against delhi jal board.

Now, i have received another bill of amount of inr 4478 with last payment date of 16th april 2019 which i am not paying unless the matter is resolved.

Mr. Ranjit verma has imposed an unauthorized and illegal connection with the house number rz-681/3/b-2 and b-3, gali no. 27e, sadh nagar-ii, palam colony, new delhi-110045 and through this connection, he is doing business to earn money per month by supplying water to others. Therefore, there is a humble request from you that please act as soon as possible so that the delhi jal board is not harmed.

There is a govt. School near shahdara railway/metro station.

A huge amount of water is getting wasted every day 24*7. No one is doing anything about it.

Please look into this matter at the earliest.

I am one of the residents living in mandawali area of east delhi.. From past few days water supply in our area is so dirty and smelly that no one can think about drinking it or to use for any other domestic purpose. We request you to take some positive action against it n try to fix it asap as it can cause severe illness in this area.

Im resident of fateh nagar near jail road new delhi-18... From the past few weeks we are getting smelly water supply from corporation motors... It has become very difficult to use that water for cooking or drinking... Water smells like swerage water which is very difficult to use for household works...
I would like to request u to plz look into d matter and do the needful asap...

I would like to inform you that i am resident of e2-2/27 sector 15 rohini new delhi 110089. My water meter has been stolen on 7 may 2019 around 04:00 am. It was installed on the ground floor and i resides in 1st floor.
My water connection no. Is [protected] and i have already lodge an online fir to delhi police fir no rhn-knk-000524 dated 07/05/19.

This is an excessively high figure. There are only 3 persons living there, who are working and not at home the whole day.
Please recheck the meter reading and rectify as soon as possible so that the bill can be paid.
It is a domestic consumption
The previous bills have never been so high

The bill for djb service at my rented premises has suddenly become unrealistically high (About 6000 /cycle) unrealistically high. I had submitted a written complaint to the zro, djb vasant kunj office in oct 2018. However, no action has been taken yet.
We are a small family of 3 individuals and our bills used to be around 1000 rs per cycle till sept 2018. But since oct 2018, after the meter was utsourced to a private company my water bill have been to the tune of 6000 inr per cycle. The sudden rise in my billing is totally beyond my understanding and must be due to some discrepancy the meter. Despite my repeated enquiry, the zro has vasant kunj has not offered me any help except proving me a help line number. My total outstanding is 43873 inr and the faulty bill charges that has been causing serious anxiety and stress to me

I have received the bill of djb for rs-416/ for march april-2019 without meter reading. When meter reader came for reading we are not present in the house but meter reader issued the bill for rs-416/-
Pls issued the new bill for the same with meter reading if charges is payble i will pay the bill for the same.
Or rectified the bill as per meter reading.

Recently received my water bill. My bill no #[protected], meter no # 184734, kno; #[protected]

Excessive whooping amount has been charged in the bill period 25 jan 2019 to 14 mar 2019, kindly clarify
Why this charges applied, as free water supply of 20000 liters, 20 kiloliters to every household and we are just two working person staying.

Secondly if you check your record. My last bill date which was...

I am writing this letter to inform you that I have been sent a notice for water bill which is of 1 lakh 16 thousand Rupees(Kno.[protected]), that gave me a big shock and almost a heart attack. We have 3 members in family, mom is a heart patient so drinking water comes from outside(bisleri bottles) and 20000 litre is free every month . Every one lives around me are are getting bill of ZERO or 100rs-124rs who have a much bigger family but my bill is irrelevant and fake too.

I went to complaint at Delhi Jal board office but all the officers and attendee are saying yes bill seems to be wrong but “ab aaa hai toh pay karo, chahe gala h sahi” I mean what does that mean how can you do such illegal thing, they cannot harass people like this by sending wrong bills and after that asked them to pay it no matter what.

I am from street no. 4, bihari colony, shahdara, and suffering from thr unhygienic water from last week. During all the day, at eater time water comes its very dirty, very foul smell. We are dependent in this water only even for drinking. Kindly do something urgently. We and oyr nearby residents all are suffering from this water problem. We shall wait your response.

My water consumption is around 10 kilo liter pet month. Which is within authorized sanction.

Today I got bill through SMS of Rs 1935 for which I did not use that much of water during the billing round.

Since installation of water meter I used 504 KL in last four your. My previous record can be examine to prove it.

My water meter reading is 504 as on date.

Your representative visit yesterday and taken reading. Kindly verify the same and wave off the charges.

Dear sir,
This is bring to your notice that your meter reader is not taking reading properly, intentionally writing meter arbitrarily since starting of connection taken, as it is found that meter reading shown 230 on bill on dated[protected], on bill dated[protected] it is showing 250, on bill dated[protected] is showing 250, on next bill it is showing gradually 270, 300, 330, (Attached copy of bill for your review), whereas it is found that meter reading is not crossed 200 still today. Please note that whenever i was not there in delhi since 06th march to 28th april then how the unit measured 45 units.

Thereafter on bill no[protected] dated[protected] there is showing no meter reading noted and dues have been charged rs/- 1016, intentionally. I have submitted a written complaint on dated[protected] along with copy of meter reading which was 187, refer complaint no. 4289 dated[protected] but no action has been taken whereas gradually it is adding late payment charges and penalties etc. I could not understand why djb revenue department is continuously harassing me intentionally.

For your kind information i have taken water connection from jan 2016 and thereafter no dues has been charged on me for usage of water, that’s why i have never looked on bill about meter reading. I am alone living here in delhi and my usage of water is about 3000 to 5000 liter per month and it is under 20 kl scheme. Today i have taken a snap shot of meter reading which is showing 191 and photo is attached herewith for your ready reference.
I am not staying at my house on day time; and i could not meet with meter reader. Please not that there are 4 nos meter kept at a same place and whenever other meter reading is taken then why my meter reading is not taken properly.

Therefore i request you to look into the matter and reverse the amount which is charged unfortunately. Please let me know the solution of meter reading properly, as today it is showing meter reading 191.
