I sagar thapa live on rent at rzf-100/4 gali no - 40, sadh nagar 2 palam colony - 110045. I'm living on this address for almost 3.5 years. I never deposited any amount of water bill because as it never came nor any notice. Even we purchased water from outside countless number of times, so this is a shock to us. Suddenly around 27 january my landlord came and told me to deposite the water bill amount of rupees 14000/-
I do not understand anything, as im belong to middle class, it's impossible to me to deposited such huge amount of money.
Pleae help me

Hi,

I am Lata Chandola, I stay in a rented house at H.No- 182, Ground floor, KG-3, Vikaspuri, New Delhi-110018.

I am also facing the same issue, when I had to leave the my Rented house, I have been shown a bill of Rs 27000, now I am in huge trouble because of this. The Local line man has also accepted that he has never given any bill nor he came for the reading collection. I am wondering why I have been sent such a huge bill, no intimation was sent from DJB till yet.

Today I called to their customer care number and they were saying that the Meter from the house has been de-attached and now they are generating an average bill for each month and since June 2017.

I am in huge trouble because of this as I belongs to a middle class family and not able to pay such a huge amount of bill.

Please look into this issue.

      Sir
      Our water bill for the period dec' 17 to aug 18 has been nil. Suddenly in jan ' 19 i received water bill no.[protected] amounting to rs. 16195 for period oct 18 to dec 18 (Includes arrears of rs.3432 for period aug ' 18 to oct 18 bill not received). On 3rd jan '19 the water meter was given for testing and i got the water inlet connection to my house plugged, as i left for abroad on 3rd jan 19 and would be returning in mar' 19. There will be no water consumption at my house during my stay abroad. After verifying the meter test report it shall be reinstalled.in the meantime no bill to be raised by delhi jal board.
      Please look into the matter of inflated bill and consider waivement of bill amount of rs. 16195

        This is to tell you that i am receving dirty water from the delhi board connection. The water is very smelly like coming from sewage it is coming for the last one month so i want to you to help me as soon as possible because its very difficult to survive here and its very harmfull to us.
        Please help me i cant live in that water me and my family having very mucg problem here to survive.
        Please take some action regarding this as soon as possible

          Severely contaminated water is coming in tanks and hence in taps. It is very stinky and it is very obvious that some dirty water is mixed somehow underground only as the same problem is in total neighbourhood. It happened some months back also and it is very hazardous.
          Area is cc colony main road and nearby areas of north west zone of delhi 110007.
          Please work on it immediately on urgent level..
          . My kids are vomiting and loose motions already even on drinking ro water.

            I m the resident of l - 38, l - block sarita vihar having bill id[protected], receiving high monthly water usages charges in comparison of actual usages against above bill id from last year.

            Therefore you are requested to please look in to the matter and issue a revised bill to us as early as possible. So that we can deposit the bill amount on time.

            I am Pratyush Gaur living in D 224 Ashok Vihar Phase 1 New Delhi 110052. I am not getting good water. When I open taps the sewer water comes from them. It makes me difficult to perform the task. So I hope that the concerned authority will look into the matter and will resolve it as soon as possible.

              I request to supply meetha pani in place of salt water it is very dangerous to survive with salt water we are of middle class we cannot manage daliy spend on gallons plz supply meetha pani on an urgent basis

                  It has been 10 days passed, the djb department has completed his work in gali no.4 main sagarpur, along baraat ghar, new delhi-46, but the below facts are still pending
                  1) malba has not been removed from site, the site is not clear
                  2) broken sewer has not been changed.
                  3) restoration work of road has not been done.

                  Due to above pending facts all the residents of gali no. 4, main sagarpur are suffering. Such negligence of djb department can cause major accidents, kindly look into the matter & resolve it at the earliest

                  C82 Lajpat Nagar 2, New Delhi. They let their pump running every morning until it's atleast 20-30 mins with water over flowing. We have personally called them often in the evenings (when a similar thing happens in Eve). Annually they must be wasting 30*365= 10950 liters of water.

                      Sir,
                      This is to bring to your attention that my water bill has extended from the given limit due to which i have to now pay the extra charges.
                      But it is all your employees fault as they did not come for the monthly reading or might have skipped reading. But later on reading was combined for all the 3 months due to which the actual limit extended.
                      This is not our fault. Kindly send some eligible workmen to read the meter as this has resulted to a fault for which we have to bear a huge cost. This is not desirable. We want our problem resolved otherwise we will not pay the next continuing bills as this is not our fault. Please look to our issue and respond positively.
                      From the past 5 years we are receiving a nil bill and now also after talking to the person who examined our bill we got to know that the per month bill is still nil.
                      Please check the matter sincerely as this means us a lot.
                      We have received sms regarding the water bill of the amount ₹2178. My water bill is combined from 18/05/2018 to 30/09/2018 which is not a fair deal.

                        My water meter no. [protected] which is registered in the name of mr pyara singh. Latest bill no. Is[protected] dtd. 16.01.2019. Bill cycle zall[protected], bill basis : provisional: policy average.

                        My complain is regarding excess billing without meter reading unit. My water meter is working properly there is no defect. I am live here lonely and maximum remain on official tour. My consumption of water is not excess over 10 units in the month if i remain here.

                        So i request you kindly send any good honest man so that he review the meter and take actual units.

                        You can review my past billing and expended units for last 4-5 years

                          Sir, i am a consumer of djb water but from few days the water supply is stopped in my house and other neighbors house. And the issue is only in my street all other nearby street does have such kind of problem.

                            There is no water after installation of water meter with effect from 05 jan 19 and i have lodged complaint no 76119 on the same day. Representative of djb have visited trice but no water till date. I have also contacted your hq, area manager mr ashish bhatt and many other persons. Inspite of repeated request, there is no any action taken so far. Please do the needful earliest so that family may not be suffered for water hither & thither.

Responsibilities have been given to the Private Company/Representative of Delhi Jal Board not so good to facilitate the service on complaint. Please instruct the authority concerned to avoid the delay, whenever, complaint lodged by the consumer.This may be given as notice to the Delhi Govt for necessary action earliest. In the last, do the needful at the earliest.

                            I have also contacted to Mr Prem Tyagi, Project Manager, Najafgarh Division on 23 Jan 2019 but no any action taken so far. Family are suffered for non availability of water at the house. Please do the needful earliest. You are also requested to inform the complaint to the Govt of Delhi, CM, who have hold charge of DJB.

                                Sir, there is no water supply in my home
                                Sir in between[protected] there is good water supply in our area but after that there is not a drop of water for drinking.
                                And before 7 to 8 month the work for new
                                Water line is in progress but in my lane not
                                Yet work start. Means in whole the area new water line is start but in my line there is not work start...
                                I complained so many times but no one help me to figure out that problem

                                  The members of 7940 nai basti arakasha road gali gurdwara wali paharganj new delhi

                                  Have been complaining to djb & mcd for sewer overflow in since last week but there has been no response from either side. The resultant has been that our house outside has been drowning in sewer water which has foul smell that we cannot easily breathe as also has become a source for mosquitoes & flies.
                                  Repeated complaints also have not brought any result. Please help us as the water will soon be cm kejarwala ji or her govt does not seem to be fulfilling their dream of a beautiful delhi instead it is becoming a hell delhi to live in

                                    I am user of water connection (K no.-[protected]) at house no. Rz-32/271 hans park west sagarpur, new delhi-110046. I have downloaded the water bill from djb site and found a bill dated 27th dec 2018 amounting to rs.2029/- (For the period from 22nd nov 2018 to 27th dec 2018 with 29 units consumption) due for payment up to 14th jan 2019. The consumption has been averaged and reading/meter status has been shown as mloc (Meter locked). The status of reading/meter has been shown for today i. E. 21st jan 2019. Its a shock to me that i am very much present at home and nobody has come for meter reading and the status has been shown as mloc which seems to be a bogus activity.
                                    My meter is working fine and showing correct readings.
                                    Kindly look into the matter and send a reply to me on my mail-id [protected]@gmail.com.

                                      Dear sir/mam

                                      I am a resident of bholanath nagar, shahdara and from past 6 months both potable and drinking water of this area is not upto the recommended standards of cpcb.

                                      I cannot claim about the chemical properties of water but all the physical properties of water are not meeting standards. Drinking water has both odor and taste and it is not even transparent. Please take action as immediately as you can before anyone start suffering from water borne disease.

D-46 nearby shiv krishna mandir are suffering from sewage overflow in the whole m block along with water supply disconnection due to pit that was lwft open at sangam chowk.
