Last month, i got a bill dt 20th sept which included consolidated arrear amount of rs 2730/- despite payment of all the previous bills well within the stipulated time-frame. A representation was made; consequently, i got a call from a djb rep to provide proof the payment made. Since the call was from mobile, i sent sreenshot of payment made through paytm.
I was expecting adjustment of consolidated arrear amount in the next bill (Dt 20th nov). Instead, the bill was a shocker - notice of an amount of rs1, 47, 685/-, to be paid by 07 dec. I may mention that during the 22- day period, our premises was without water supply for a week; we had to resort to djb water tanker supply during 16-22 oct.
The authorities need to place themselves in my position and see as to how an amount of rs 1.50 lakh can be mobilized by a retired person who neither has pension nor any medical benefits to support. We are a septuagenarian couple only residing in the premises, trying to fend for itself in this environment of declining interest rates.
I do hope some good sense prevails and no lpsc/penalties are imposed and matter gets resolved without delay!

The meter was installed on the ground floor and my flat is on the first floor. You are requested to install a new meter inside my flat on the first floor as soon as possible to avoid theft again. My address is K-93A, F.F (L.H.S), K- Block, Gali No-12, Som Bazar Rd, Rajapuri, Uttam Nagar 110059.
My request is that a new meter should be installed as soon as possible.
