I was receiving zero bill till december 2017. Thereafter suddenly a bill of rs. 15433.58 was received by me in january, 2018 and subsequently i received bills for 12088/- in march, 2017, 5923 in april, 2018, 9869.53 in july 2018. Thereafter, i got bill for 10190.97 in september 2018. I got meter tested, it was found to be ok. May i know the reason in sudden increase of bill amount. It appears to be some scam. I will take up matter with appropriate authority, if condition does not change. It is fraud which is unexplainable. Kindly allow me to change my meter of best brand available in market.

    I am the honest consumer and ready to pay the bill but the bill i getting monthly are inflated and not based on meter reading.

    I visited janakpuri office several time and every time i submitted the meter reading and request them to send your official to visit my house and take the reading.

    My house is last one and not getting any water then how the reading will come. I am buying water through tender or using salty water from boring.

    Kindly depute your engineer or officials to inspect my connection and water availability and arrange to rectify the bill so that in can settle the same.

    Hi, I am a resident of kavita Colony, Nangloi, Delhi 110041. Here, a number of illegal boring are in operation and a huge quantity of ground water is extracted from there. All that water is used to spread in street at least two times a day.
    Sir,
    I am complaining about sever water is overflowing in my house now and then. I had cleared the sever several times but its still not well cleared. Lots of money is wasted on local plumbers but they are not resolving our problems.
    Please check and ensure that it is cleared.

E. 69 days is 57 units only. The above latest consumption are very much on the higher side. You are kindly requested to issue the this bill based on the average consumption..

        My water meter (KNO: [protected]) was incorrectly installed so it was taking backward reading. Because of this fault, I was receiving excessive water bills. In the apartment where I am living, there are seven more flats that receives less than Rs. 300 as monthly water charges; whereas I am being slapped with Rs. 3000+ per month. Need to mention, we are two in the family, the water tank capacity is 500 ltr, and water supplied to our locality in every alternate day. Suddenly DJB sent a notice to pay Rs. 13, 000 as outstanding water charges (but, I have already paid all the dues). However, I paid this amount fearing disconnection. To resolve this issue, I took a photo of the reading reflecting on the water meter, the bills, payment receipts and visited DJB’s South Delhi branch. Upon inspecting the documents, an officer observed that the meter was incorrectly installed resulting it taking backward reading. This has been the reason behind generating excessive billings. I registered a complaint with DJB, a mechanic attended and rightly installed the water meter. A month later, again, I received a water bill from DJB asking to pay Rs. 3000 as water bill for a month. And it continued. Now it’s about 8 months passed from the date of fixing the meter, I received an SMS from DJB asking for Rs. 16, 000 toward water charges. I have been informed that once the meter was fixed, till the meter reading reflects ‘000’ on the screen, I need not to pay any more. The amount of Rs. 13, 000 that I have already paid (which is many times higher than the actual reading) should be adjusted.

        My question is: As DJB have rightly installed the water meter, then there must be update in their electronic bill generation system also. It is expected that they have updated their database/back-end programs to generate correct bill for my water connection? If it is, then why this repeated trouble for a helpless consumer? What to do? Whom to approach? How to finally get rid of this issue?

          It is to inform you that i have received a delhi jal board water consumption bill rs. 14475.00 dated[protected] issued by you, but my last bill you have genrated only rs. 51.00.

          The consumpion for the period are not mentioned tis bill.

          I request you please check this matter seriously. And correct then. I informyou this will is totally wrong, this is impossible. Two month bill rs. 14475.00 due date[protected]

            Severage water mix
            Dear sir,

            With due respect i would like to inform you that from last 1 week we are getting, sewer water mixed with our drinking water in our area h - 349, new rajinder nagar, new delhi - 110060.
            I have several time complaint at customer care no. Of delhi jal board but no action has been taken out till the time. The situation of water is too pathetic, also, we are getting sick with stomach pain and other disease due to use this water.

            Kindly, consider this application and take necessary action on urgent basis.

            Hope you understand the problem and resolve this issue.

            We are not getting proper water supply from delhi jal board area near sadh nagar-2, palam colony, new delhi.
            Water is coming on alternate day and that too only for 2 hours.We peoples are facing too much difficulty.Please help.
            Its very difficult for us to sustain for 2 days with very less water.Atleast they can provide water everyday.

              dirty water with foul smell in B-Block of Shastri Nagar, Delhi-110052, specifically in B-1545, shastri nagar. It is happening in our area for the last one week.

                Good afternoon!

                This complaint is regarding sudden excessive in water bill on g block of east vinod nagar, delhi 91.

                It is shocking for families who used to pay water bill monthly (1-2 month) of "64 rs to 1400 rs" suddenly get bill of more than "5000 rs to 15000 rs".

                Please look into this, g block families are still looking for this issue.

                    Respected sir/mam,

                    As a sincere resident of my colony. I would like to share my sheer diappointment against delhi jal board (For 2 reasons) as mentioned below:

                    1. The water supply is really pathetic and discontinuous, since last 2 weeks. The water is so dirty and stinking that it is not even suitable for washing and bathing. Thinking of drinking such water is even unimaginable.

                    2. Despite of the fact that we are getting contaminated water supply, i personally have to pay huge bill amount. If you will look at my last paid bills non of them have exceeded more than rs.500/- but my previous month bill and this month bill was of around rs.3000/-. We have to purchase bisleri water bottles from outside for drinking purpose and still we have to pay such huge bill amount. On asking the officials about increased bill amount, they said that "we cannot do anything in this subject matter"

                    Bills and picture of water supply that we are getting have been attached below.

                    I request the concerned authority to kindly look into the matter and take an appropriate action, concerning to the resolution of these particular issues.

                      I am a resident of Amrit Puri - B, Garhi, Gali no 7. After so many complaints and visits to MLA office still we are facing water problems from few months. People staying nearby to our home are getting almost 10-12 hrs of water supply but we are not getting a proper water supply, after turning on the pump for 4-5 hrs a day we are getting not more than 5 litres of water. Whole night we struggle to fill our water tank and atlast we get nothing and same process we do every night, due to lack of rest we are badly facing health issues and won't be able to work in office which in result to family disturbance and job insurance. Request you to look into this as a serious problem and provide us a permanent and quick solution at the earliest.

                        I am Bijender Sharma, residence of RZH-713, Raj Nagar II, Palam - 110077, I am facing issues in your Regular Water Bill no.[protected], Bill Date 13-Sep-2018.

                        The bill charged for the period of 25/07/18 to 13/09/18 is wrong and does not match with the actual consumption of the said period and due to this a wrong bill raised with an amount of INR 8431/-.

                        I am requesting you to, please look in this matter and kindly instruct the concerned department to resolve this, also issue us correct bill so that we can make the further payment.

                        Sewer Lines of flat Nos. AD-41 and AD-42, Pitampura, Delhi are blocked. We have tried to get it cleared through our Association drain cleaner but in vain. It is causing lot of bad smell and prone to deceases. Kindly escalate it to appropriate authority.

                          My djb metre reading is not taken by meter reader properly... Please send djb water metre to my house so that he can show me that how meter reading he has taken... Although we have 3 family members, but always getting huge water bill... Want to discuss with metre reader... Send him.

                            There is a illegal and open water connection in our street but no one can do any action for closing this when the rain should come the road side and collins water should go into the pipe line through this pipe your reading and bill man can see this but can't take any action on this connection this is the problem that unclean water are coming

                              K no. [protected] zone sw-4/661 area a-1/dwarka. I got bills in the range of 75000 for one year and recenct 20275 for two months.
                              I got water meter tested and l&t says error +1.95 so permissible
                              Please replace l&t meter and since test is excluding temp, pressure tightness, pressure loss and endurance hence not complete. All my payments are under protest.
                              Please replace meter forthwith else djb is liable for all compensation incl mental torture to ex serviceman and old man

                                I'm a resident of a30a, gali no - 15, bharat vihar, rajapuri, uttam nagar, new delhi -10059

                                There is a vacant house opposite my house. Litres and litres of water overflows everyday in the evening.

                                A huge amount of water iss getting wasted from the anand vihar storage tanker everyday.

                                Please look into this matter at the earliest.

                                      The sewage system of my area is blocked from last 15 days and is iverflowing. We are facing a lot of problems. There are chances of children getting infected. The whole area is blocked and there is no place to walk also. We have already filed a complaint to the delhi jal board to JE and MLA office also. Bt no action has been taken till date.
