In 2019 meter reading was not done and bill generated after that the bill is continuously increasing.k.no [protected].

    Water is not coming since 10 days and in the evening the water supply is effected with sewerage which leads to bad water supply… facing problem since 2 weeks

          K NO [protected]: Resolution of Delhi Jal Board Complaint Number: [protected] dated March 03, 2022 3:42;29 AM is shown as resolved/ complete on[protected] at 11:33;02 A.M. Please provide the details of resolution as despite complaining of wrong arbitrary billing showing as Meter Locked and informing you of wrong meter reading, AND apprehending that you may not raise arbitrary bill for next cycle showing as meter locked, you have raised a bill of Rs. 502 for no consumption of water and the Meter was accessible and incidentally Gutter Cleaning staff also visited the same site on that day. The status of my current complaint on DJB Web Site as well as through consumer complaints may please informed.

              We the citizen of Sagarpur, west delhi wish even we had a good day. But no we don't. For the last 4 days we had No water. And water means No water. Full drought. No water tankers No direct water supply. Even No support. This is not the service we deserve after paying taxes and being a law abiding citizen.
              We would like to receive a reply and SOME WATER in our pipelines.

                Subject: Raising of Arbitrary Bill by DJB for Kno M [protected], 7 Double Storey, New Rajendra Nagar/ current bill for Rs. 502 for the period Jan12, 2022 to May 20, 2022. The Bills are showing as LOC although the Meter is not locked and accessible, and active but there is no consumption of water since I am away from the City/ Country.
                REQUEST FOR EARLY RESOLVING THE GRIEVANCE REGARDING HYPOTHETICAL BILLING IN RESOECT OF Meter No M KNO [protected] ON THE BASIS OF YOUR INDICATING METER AS “LOC “WHICH IS VERY MUCH ACCESSIBLE AND THERE IS NO WATER CONSUMPTION SINCE I AM OUT OF COUNTRY AT PRESENT.
                I request you to kindly amend the Bill of Rs. 502 for the period Jan12, 2022 to May 20, 2022 and I request you to kindly stop raising arbitrary bills for no/ minimal consumption of water. After noticing in the previous bill for the period Aug 18, 2021 to Jan 13, 2022 showing as Meter Loc (LOCK) though no amount was billed, I lodged a Grievance no.:[protected] (Snap Shot placed above) expressing my apprehensions that you will raise the next bill arbitrarily and I informed you a head of time to take a corrective action by sending an official to the site and not just raining arbitrary bill sitting in the office. I informed you earlier and I am again informing you that the Meter is open accessible, and active although there is no/ minimal consumption of water since I am away from the City/ Country and there is no/ little occupancy.
                I am a Senior (65+) and I have been repeatedly putting in Grievances with a request to respond to me by email at my email ID [protected]@gmail.com but I received nothing except the status showing as complete. Can you please advise to visit and see carefully the meter readings and consider that there is no / minimum use of water as I am away from the country? I request you to kindly expedite the matter and request that I am not harassed any further by raining arbitrary bills for no water consumption.
                Grievances Id : [protected] dated Mar 02, 2022 shown as complete on[protected]

                Kno M [protected], 7 Double Storey, New Rajendra Nagar is not locked and is active. Apprehension: The Current Meter Bill for the period from 18 Aug, 2021 to 12 Jan 2022 although rightly shows nil amount payable. But the bill also shows it as MLOC which is not correct. Meter is open accessible, and active although there is no/ minimal consumption of water since I am away from the City/ Country and there is no/ little occupancy. Issues: Please Note my current Meter Reading of 838.02 on Mar 2, 2022 as per the picture attached. There appears to be an inadvertent error in noting the previous reading as 855 which may be got corrected. I am also enclosing pictures taken on Feb 24 as 837.99, On Feb 21 as 835.06 and on Feb 07 as 834.42, clearly indicating that the meter is active and may not be classified as STP to further raise arbitrary bills on the pretext of showing it as Meter LOC. Please note the Meter is not locked. Please do not issue any arbitrary bills as was wrongly done in my other Meter for which I have filed Grievance No. [protected] dt. Feb 23, 2022. Since I am away, the visiting DJB official may have not found any body at home to advise about it.                 The current bill I see on the Web is placed below separately. I am also enclosing a copy of the attachment I had sent with the above Grievance in which I had also pointed out the current Meter Reading was 838.02 as on March 02, 2022 as per the picture pasted below/ attached. There is an inadvertent error in noting the previous reading at your end . I had enclosed the pictures taken on March 02, 2022 showing reading as 838.02, on Feb 24, 2022 as 837.99, on Feb 21, 2022 showing reading as 835.06 and on Feb 07, 2022 showing as 834 .42.
                The current bill for Rs. 502 for the period Jan12, 2022 to May 20, 2022 as seen on the web has really shocked me as to how my Grievance ID [protected] dated Mar 02, 2022 showing my apprehensions of “expecting the next bill as arbitrary based on your Bill showing as “Loc” “ has been resolved (shown as complete on[protected].
                It is my earnest request that I may please be stopped this undue harassment of sending arbitrary bills for no/ very little consumption. This bill of Rs.502 may please be amended to Rs. Zero and I may please be intimated at my gmail address: [protected]@gmail.com since I am not currently in the city/country.
                I am also enclosing a copy of my letter dated Feb 10, 2022 for a similar issue with my other meter and an extract from that letter is placed below which is self explained of non/ minimum consumption of water in my properties:
                “I wish to inform you that there are 3 Water Meters installed in my properties House Numbers 5, 6 7 and 8 Double Storey, New Rajendra Nagar, New Delhi -110 060 as per details below:

                Kno M [protected] 5 to 8 DS

                Kno M [protected] 7 DS

                There has been no/ minimal water consumption against these meters since I am presently out of the country. I have been staying out of the country and there is no occupancy or occupancy for a very short while at these properties. Just to satify your meter reading official, I have arrranged to open water taps for sometime which are outside so that you can see the movememnt/ funtioning of meters that relate to water taps outside although it Is a share wastage of water that is forced on me.”


                I request you to please look into the matter and do the needful.

But the meter reading column is showing as “ MLOC” which is not correct. The Meter is not locked and is open accessible, and the Meter is active and functional although there is no/ minimal consumption of water since I am away from the City/ Country.
                Please make note that the Meter is not locked and I may not be issued any arbitrary future billing as has been wrongly done in another Meter of mine for which I have filed the Grievance No. [protected] dated Feb 23, 2022.

                Since I am away and the visiting days of the visiting DJB official are uncertain, he may have not found any body at home so that he could advise about it.                 I can call back whenever required. The Security Guard is available daily. Mr. Vikram, Supervisor of the Security Guard Services can be contacted at any time at [protected].

                Also I noticed some discrepancy in meter reading noted at your end. I request you to make note of my current Meter Reading as on March 02, 2022 showing reading as 838.02 as per the picture below/ attached. There appears an inadvertent error in noting one earlier/ previous meter reading of 855 at your end as shown in the last bill which may please be got corrected at your end. I noticed that the current bill for KNo [protected] dt Jan 12, 2022 is although for (-) Rs 2068 but current reading shows MLOC. So, you may not start raising arbitrary bills for this meter also. As such I am arranging to submit the pictures of all the three meters for current reading.

                  I request that this arbitrary billing may please be stopped as it is causing harassment to me, and I may please be refunded Rs. 7, 750/- for the arbitrary billing done as per the details given below. Please arrange to stop this harassment to me.
                  I request you to immediately Stop the Arbitrary/ Hypothetical billing in respect of K No.: [protected] since there is no consumption of Water for a long time.

                  Note: I wish to inform that when DJB Official, Mr. Amit (Cell #: [protected]) visited on May 16, 2018 at around 2:45 P.M. to record meter readings, he had suggested to give an application that there is no reading no water consumption otherwise they will send the bill. He had noticed that the Last Meter Reading 2months back and on May16, 2018 was the same . He also suggested to check the previous bills and if no occupancy, give application for no consumption for this meter K[protected] as well as K[protected]. Accordingly, I had given application for non / minimal consumption of these meters for the reasons stated above. But still there is arbitrary billing.

                          Dear Delhi Jal borad Department,

                          We have been facing the issue of water scarcity for last 4 years in A-Block Suraj Vihar. If I talked about present month, almost daily basis we struggled a lot almost every day for getting water.
                          The points below to be considered.
                          1. Timing of water is not fixed, We wake up at 11:30 pm in the night alternate day, some times it comes at 11:30, some times 01 AM, Some times 01:35 AM some times it does not come at all.
                          2. Most of the times pressure of water is very low.
                          3. When Water comes, it comes for the shorter period ( 10 Min)
                          4. The water is coming on alternate basis. It is very difficult for us.
                          5. Last 5 days there is no water supply in my area.
                          6. Before 5 days back the water was coming very dirty like black water.

                          We are complaint so many times but delhi jal board je is not resolve our issue. We are facing this problem regularly. We were met JE as well as local MLA but no body resolve our issue.

                          I, therefore, Request you to look into the matter asap.

                            I have submitted my representation to Zonal Revenue Officer (ZRO (W), SW-III, ), Delhi Jal Board, R.K. Puram, New Dellhi-110022 regarding immediate replacement of faulty meter against my KNO: [protected] vide your receipted Dy NO. 3960 dated 13.05.2022. Till date I have not received any intimation from Delhi Jal Board with regard to installation new meter to my house address 257, Type-II, Sector-5, R.K. Puram, New Delhi-110022. The faulty meter reading is 9932 showing actually in meter instead of 3433 according to bill reading.

                            Kindly get the faulty water meter replaced immediately. Also give free 20 KL water supply as per the announcement of Delhi Government on the basis of of our water consumption in future bills. Awaiting your early reply. Your prompt reply will be highly appreciated.

                              Dear Sir,
                              We are having a meter no. K[protected] in the name of Sh. Dharmapal Chohan. The meter reading taken by the employee of Delhi jal board by Sh. Abhay on 27.04.22 was wrongly taken. The bill generated for 64 days consumption is only 2 units which is wrong. We therefore request you to again take the meter reading and regenerate the bill on actual consumption.
                              I have been following up with the DJB employee Sh. Abhay but the same has not been resolved. The issue has been escalated via lot of emails but still no action taken.
