In order to install a new water meter, DJB wants a copy of FIR for the same. Old bill attached for your reference.

      On 05/01/22 my reading is 00081.97m3 & on 24/01/22 my reading is 00084.44m3 and today 03/03/22 my reading is 00087.37m3 But in the bill it is printed that my meter is stopped. Then how meter reading is increasing. Last month I had also complained about the reading and correct my bill. But this time again without inspecting my meter how can they noted reading. Please see the matter and resolve it as soon as possible.

        The meter reading is calculating incorrectly since September 2018. The board deducted my Negative balance of Rs4000, and added 1100 more to be paid, whereas the reading is not justifiable.

          A water connection bearing KNO: [protected] is installed at A-428, FF, Nehru Vihar, Delhi-54 (JJ Colony) for which a water bill of Rs. 3760/- for the period from 10.05.2021 to 14.06.2021 has been raised showing consumption of 100 units in 35 days which is grossly illegal & unwarranted. It appears that the consumption of earlier periods have also been clubbed in this period for which either it is default of the Meter reader or it is fault in the Meter for which the landlord of the premise visited many times to the concerned office of the Delhi Jal Board but fruitless. Day by day the Delhi Jal Board has been increasing the amount by imposing either interest or penalty. Earlier for the long period there was no bill raised. Kindly look into the matter and do needful so that the consumer may get relief. Thank you.

            Hello,

            I reside in Mukherjee Nagar area, Bhai Parmanand Colony, North West Delhi. For the past three days, we’ve been getting horrible smelling water. It smells like sewage water in our taps. We have tried emptying and cleaning our tanks. It was okay for a few hours but then went back to smelling like sewage water again. We cannot even go near it. Please look into the matter. The entire row of houses near my place is getting affected which made me believe that it’s a pipeline issue.

            My address is 467, Bhai Parmanand Colony, Delhi 110009.

              Sir,
              Am the meter holder Prabhu Dayal Singh and My KNo is :[protected]. During the first pandemic COVID-19 during[protected] the main office send Rs. 1, 566/- bill against my meter reading. The bill has been circulated without visit and showing meter due to lock down situation. Now the same amount showing in meter reading Rs. 1, 928/- (Rupees one thousand nine hundred twenty eight only) .
              The aforesaid amount comes during the lockdown[protected] and bill has been created a random (without showing meter reading) from your main office. Same bill of my neighborhood has been exempted but my bill has not been exempted till date, however I have already submitted many complain through your reginal office Delhi Jal Board, Kakrola office.
              I request to you take action for exempt the aforesaid amount.

                We have been charge unethically. The current outstanding bill is 17k however since nov 2019 our bill reading was entered incorrectly. As since nov 2019 till July 2021 the reading entered was zero units and when they generated the of July 2021 they entered the units for the entire duration of 1.5 years. Hence the billing is incorrect. My father's phone number is registered with delhi jal board and he does not check his messages that frequently as he is 74. So was checking his phone randomly and found this bill upon investigating found the error as well so I decided to call jal board but to my surprise the lady over phone told me they can't do anything as it's 2 years old bill.

                      There have been an issue of accessive reading from the actual reading in the meter is shown on water bill the supervisor have mistaken to account the reading in his data book or arrears does not exists in real but shown in the bill . we request you to check our water meter and stick with the same reading to be shown in bill.

                        We have been received high billing amount since the water meter was placed and I have complaint about this to the authorities may times but no action was taken. This time also bill No.[protected] is showing 3k bill. I stay away from home I don't have time to go every now and then to the office and ask them to fix it. Either I can do my work or keep running for these matters. So I chose to just pay the bill anyways.
                        But now its High time. I am not going to pay any of the bills if this matter is not resolved.

                        Kindly look into the matter seriously and correct our bill ASAP.

                        We have already mark the copy of complaint to Vigilance Office of Govt. of India for the same case

                          It's been 20 days that we did not get water. Daily from 3am all o[censored]s are trying atleast every hours to check if water is coming or not. However bill still gets generated for 5000.

                            1. Ever since Dec 2019, the house has been locked, with no water consumption.
                            2. But, the bill dated 11th Dec 2019 - 22 Feb 2020, the meter readings have been grossly inflated, without any usage!
                            3. Ever since this bill, all bills were incorrect, with random readings and eventually, went into STP with average bill amounts.
                            4. With nearly ZERO consumption for 2 years, my bill readings are incorrectly generated, and for the fear of disconnection, I have paid bills, in the hope that my complaints to ZRO, Consumer Grievances on website, helpline number would get addressed. But nothing has been done, and finally, I had to resort to Consumer court.
                            5. From Dec 2019, I have paid incorrect bills amounting to Rs. 10776, which should be rightfully refunded, as the consumption was negligible, and not warranted for this harassment.

                              On my K.No. [protected] i receive message of bill amount for 27, 955.00 for 18 days of 472 units. I am still shocked how is it possible to get this bill amount. and i have register a Grievance Complaint and there is no resolution yet.

                              Today 24/02/2022 i receive message from DJB asking to pay the bill amount of 27KL 30, 183.00 Rupees for Feb month. There is no escalation matrix from where i can reach out to Delhi Jal board executive and to correct my bill.

                                  DJB reader generate bill without visiting the place with any random number. When we call reader he ask not to pay bill and he will correct in next round. However, we got penalized for late payment charges and the bill never corrected. Now they made mistake with intentions and we need to rotate around the DJB kakrola more office.
                                  From last 6 years I have been through the situation multiple times. And your self reading is just a joke never work.

                                      DJB bill no.[protected] of Rs. 1040/- prepared for period 03 march 2021 to 18 may 2021 during covid time was on provisional basis and i had paid that bill on 3rd June 2021. After that on my complaint reference no [protected] dated 20 July 2021 for prepare bill on the basis of actual reading that bill was zero as actual consumption during period was below permissible limit. I had requested several times at DJB portal through online to adjust my paid amount Rs.1039.71 against above provisional bill with future bill but not getting any positive reply so please adjust it with current bill no[protected] dated 28 jan 2022

                                        Hello, sir, I am a resident of South Delhi and I am writing this complaint regarding Illegal water supply in this area. I am talking about South delhi's Devli extension area Pin code is 110080 near Tigri T point Landmark is R.K JEWELLERS. Here in this area, a person named SHEKHAR is illegally supplying the water in this area and he charges around 50- 100Rs. For half-hour water supply. As water is a precious natural resource it is the right of every individual to get the water for free. The family members of this man also threatened other people of this society. He is distributing water for the past 10-15 yrs. And till now no action has been taken. Please look after this
