Dear sir, this is to inform you that my water meter has been stolen today dated 22.09.2020. K no is [protected] it was installed on the ground floor and my flat is on first floor floor front portion. Request you to install a new meter as soon as possible inside my flat on i st floor to avoid from being stolen again. My address b-125, arjun nagar safdurjung enclave new delhi 110029.       My bill all ready everymnth only 0 before 1 years,, bcs 20 thousand water free by govt... But this years my bill is very high,, i am poor man,, i have rase the cmplnt,, 2times in 6mnth.. So plz i rqust you,, see my bill once again... I have not the reading on my meter till 5years.. Sir i m not capable bill pay bcs i m very poor men,, so plz correct my bill by djb side..

        On 19 july 2018, water meter was fixed for d-25 iind floor, krishna park, devil road, khanpur, new delhi 110062
        Since then for 25 months, no meter reading was taken on the excuse of non-availability of staff in delhi jal board for taking water meter readings. The water bill was given on an avg. Reading for 25 months. It was told that it would be compensated and adjusted with actual reading keeping in mind free 20 kilolitres/month as provided by delhi gov.
        We are given a bill of rs. 15, 000 on much insistence when we asked to regularize the water bill as per the actual readings. Though as on date too our total consumption is 480 litres against 500 litres as provided free by delhi govt, djb is not willing to correct the bill. After many phone calls and repetitive rounds to the office.
        We keep a tight check on our monthly consumption and always keep it under 20 kl per month as we have paucity of money and try to save it. Our water bill should be nil as per delhi govt. And should be made accordingly.
        Kindly, look into this account and get the needful done.
        Djb saket office staff on the first hand bluffed us and now after trapping us in their net is trying to loot money from us through wrong means. First, by giving false assurances and giving arbitrary and ambiguous readings, then blackmailing us by giving such a heavy bill. And, now they are looking for under the carpet money to prepare the correct bill.

        When no one comes for meter reading, then how will we avail the relaxation of 20 kl? Please take this into consideration.
        Meter installed: 19 july 2018
        Meter reading: 11 feb. 2019 – 49 units (7 months) they showed just 49 units against actual consumption of 130 units.

        26 nov 2019 – 98 units (16 months). They showed just 98 units on the bill against 317 units.
        We use water judiciously and keep our usage under 20kl.
        But after many calls, the bill was made on 3rd sep. 2020
        3rd sep.[protected]meter units
        Now, under with no substantial cause, rs. 15000 rupees are trying to be seized.
        Kindly, make our bill as per the delhi gov. Relaxation, which turns out to be nil.
        Please help me, i am a senior citizen and an ex-serviceman’s widow. It is very unfair and cruel on these treacherous people of djb saket office to attempt forgery and loot money from me.

          It is a matter of deep concern / importance that how illegal dying units are workingin residential areas and are polluting these places and depriving the basic right of human being to live in an clean environment & causing irreversible damage to the mother nature . With such efficient organizations NGT, THE CENTRAL POLLUTION CONTROL BOARD, DELHI POLLUTION CONTROL BOARD, DELHI JAL BOARD, MINISTRY OF PETROLEUM AND NATURAL GAS each of them turned blind eyes to these rampant violation across the city.
          What these units are doing here in residential areas while according to the laws no individual has the right to violate the law as by opening illegal unit in the residential areas and why no action is being taken from any department as so many violations are done concerning each of them.
          When there are clearly worded/mentioned laws, no action has been taken . It is a mandatory provision under u/s 25/26 of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 that no person without the previous consent of the DPCC shall Establish or take any steps to establish any industry, operation or process or any treatment and disposal system an extension or addition thereto, which is likely to discharge sewage or trade effluent into a stream or well or sewer or on land.
          ANNEXURE III of master plan mention PART II—SEC. 3(ii)]
          PROHIBITED / NEGATIVE LIST OF INDUSTRIES
          Industries manufacturing the following shall be prohibited within National Capital Territory of Delhi.
          • Serial no 29 clearly mentions. Dye & dye intermediates
          • Guideline 46 says . Hazardous waste processing viz. hospital/medical/industrial waste
          • Para 15.5 says PERMISSIBLE AND NON-PERMISSIBLE USES Any trade or activity involving any kind of obnoxious, hazardous, inflammable, non-compatible and polluting substance or process shall not be permitted.
          Right from the start some of the violations are as under
          1. Illegal use of domestic LPG connection
          2. Illegal use of portable and ground water
          3. Illegal drainage of chemical waste water in sewer and common drainage system
          4. Polluting the surrounding atmosphere with toxic air
          5. NOC not obtained from fire department
          6. No license of any sort to operate
          7. No ISI equipments to operate
          8. No chimney or air filter for toxic gases to release
          Now coming to the point,
          I am a resident of Block AF Shalimar Bagh North West Delhi. I would request you to keep my identity confidential/ anonymous for security reasons and act suo moto on the complaint . Now coming to the problem, in this residential area one such unit located at AF 16 a Shalimar Bagh Delhi 88, front portion is being used as a Dying unit for many years . Working from 11 am to 7 pm, they approximately use water twice daily amounting some 1000 liters 6 or sometimes 7 days a week. This illegal unit consequences are well aware to all, but it possess a very serious hazardous effect specially on senior citizens and children and patients surrounding the unit.
          All we common people can do is to request you to understand our problem by
          putting yourself in our place and take immediate remedial action against this unauthorized unit.
          Take this complaint as collective effort from the residents suffering the ordeal day and night.
          Hoping the concerned departments will act in this regard soon.

            Respected sir/madam

            I am one of the resident of gali no 1, dharamshala marg raj nagar 2 palam colony which comes under the palam. Our area is suffering from highly dirty and smelly water from past one week which is not even suitable for washing and cleaning purpose, no one can even think of drinking it. It smells like it comes from sewer. Please help us in this matter since it becoming a serious issue.
            We hope that our government will take some strict action in this matter so that we can proudly say that we are delhities

            It is pending work, DJB person working on that but didn't get the solution.now sewer is leaking and mixed the drinking water supply.it can be dangerous for Raj Nagar 2 Palam colony residential person.

              I have submitted complaint letters about incorrect water bill for k. No [protected], first on 7th december 2019 and then again on 03 jan 2020, but never got any reply or action on my complaints. No official ever visited my building to check the water meter in last 5 years. I have never received either a hard copy or a soft copy of the bill at my residence - h4/87, upper ground floor, bengali colony, mahavir enclave, delhi 110045.

              I just received a text message that my bill is inr 14, 983 with a disconnection prompt. However, this bill is completely incorrect. The delhi jal board is sending me bills without checking my water meter. I checked online and downloaded a soft copy of my bill today[protected] and it says meter reading as on 8th sep 2020 is 985. Which is not right. As today on 16th september 2020 my water meter shows 00884.

              Since last 1 year we rarely get the water supply. The water is only available for like 2 times a week. And from last 4 months we get water supply only 2-3 time a month. So there is no way my water bill can be so high.

              Therefore, i request you to please take my matter into consideration and resolve this problem. I am also attaching image of my water meter so that you can check the meter reading and compare it with the bill generated. Also attaching the soft copy of the bill that i downloaded from delhi jal board website.

                Dear sir,
                My name is Hirdesh Kumar, and resident adress is C 21 Jawahar park, khanpur 110080.
                We are facing much trouble of water supply in Jawahar park khanpur area. We don't have even a single bottle water in our home. How to bath, how to use washroom. We are facing water supply issue in are street specially since 8-10 days . We having double load of manpower and electricity wasting only on checking that water supply is coming or not, 3-4 hours our moters are running for water. Electricity bill is also increasing in this situation. As already know that in these corona period people are not getting their salaries, in this case how Delhi people will survive here in this location. We are requesting you to please take suitable action against the supply insufficient water supply in our area. We are in problem. Supply always comes arround 3am in morning and we are waiting daily for water and starting our moter but after 2-3 hours running moters, their was no water supply coming for us in complete street.all people wants to complaint regarding the water supply..

                This complaint is not resolved. We are still surviving for water since 15 days. In the state like Delhi water is not available for bath and usage.

                      In adhchini and aurobindo apartments from last 2 days there is no water supply, no tanker facility has been provided by the delhi jal board and officials do not pick the call despite calling several times including the je.

                      In these corona virus times, as arogya setu data shows that are 22 covid cases in 1km's periphery, water is important for washing hands and for sanitation. I would like to draw attention of the conerned authorities to please address our concern as a matter o[censored]rgency.

                      Delhi jal board is under delhi govt, we have an aap mla who does'nt respond to our concerns. Please provide us water tanker, we are suffering.

                          This is to inform that bill is generated without meter reading taken by meter reader person. As our meter started on date 26.5.2014, meter no. : 981131, new kno. :[protected], dairy no. : 1485.
                          And our earlier complaint letter dated on 25.7.2015, meter reading 00229.71, dairy no. :6350, djb saket delhi.
                          And our current meter reading is 01855.9.
                          After getting through the above information. However i request you to look into the matter and help to resolve the issue asap.

                                  Please refer complaint no 173415 dated 27 Aug 2018 and grievance no [protected] regarding no water supply against KNO [protected] and requested to shift supply through new pipelines laid in the Om Vihar phase 3 Nttam Nagar. Nothing is happened so far.

                                    Dear sir/madam,
                                    This is regarding the water bill for the period 8th july to 29th august received by me. My kno no. [protected]. (Category -1, domesic type). This is the second time that the i am receiving so high water bill of rs 3499 which is not understandable for me. This bill seems to be miscalculated or there must be some problem with the water meter. Ours is a small family with 2 adults and 2 minors and only 500 litres water tank. The history of the previous units consumed showed that i never received any bill of such a amount since last two years. And that too you can check on your end in your records. My earlier bills cycle shows an average bill in the range rs 300 to rs 400, which has suddenly jumped to rocking amount of rs 6000 and 4000 around. This new meter shows a steep hike of 200 units for 51 days, which is unbelievable, as my water consumption remains the same. I request you to kindly go through my problem on priority basis and do the needful to rectify the bill and change my present erroneous water meter. I request the concerned authorities to rectify the bill and bring me respite. Thanks simmi. 5-b, dda flats, taimoor enclave, new friends colony, new delhi-110025.

[protected] period of 8/6/20 to 24/8/20 total days 77 days used 37 unit consume as per calculation Jun consume units 11.05 July in 14.89 and in August 11.53 as per subsidy 20kl but every month we below of 20KL units so why billing me please clarify regarding this bill and average units used only 14.41 units so please update my bill.
