Sub: no water supply
My name is ajeet singh. I am living in vishnu garden. I want to make a complaint against delhi jal board officers because water is not coming from last 2 weeks in my area. We are facing problem due to no water supply. From last few months water was coming only 1 hour at midnight but from last 2 weeks even 1 hour supply is cut. Also there is information about supply schedule, last 2 weeks i m never sleep becose i don't when supply comes for 5-10 minutes only. I have marked mail regarding issue but there is no updates even i have not received any acknowledgement email, you think, how can we manage without single drop of water in this pandemic situation where we should washhands frequently. Please think about my complaint and take action as soon as possible.

    My name is vivek nandan. I live in palam colony sadh nagar-2 gali-41. Before the pandemic covid 19, work on the water pipeline is on progress but now it is on halt. My request is to start the work again because in this summer like earlier summer water problem we are facing badly tanker is coming but the people of our street genuine wants the water supply is to resolved as soon as possible. Please take the request seriously because everyone is not capable stand in a queue of tanker to get the water some o[censored]s buying the water those are not capable paying the 300 for 1000 litre water.

    Please start the work again. Half of the street suffer water crises and the other half get the water.

      I am Mishrilal Kushwaha living in Gali No-29 New ashok Nagar, we are facing inadequate water supply from almost past one month in this area. I have complained already regarding these issues, but they have not solved water supply issues. Even i also contact to are "je" they have also not any
      solution because they are not aware of the exact reason.
      When i contact the upper-level officer in this area, they directly answer we can't do any things.
      You area water supply problem issues only solve by you je, we have not any solution. I am very disappointed because of all this. It has never happened before.

      I request to our chief minister and also to delhi jal board department
      to kindly provide adequate water supply in new ashok nagar area as before. We will also recommend all djb staff you all should meet your responsibilities

                I am puneet sharma resident of new ashok nagar, new delhi. My supply water quality is getting bad like mud water since 4month and i resiter complaint to toll free number on 4.5.20. But they didn't give me any reference number and after sometime i again call for queries about my complaint they give me my area j. E officer number but he was not pick my call.

                  My name is amit samvedi, resident of 38/9, 2nd floor ashok nagar. For the past few weeks our block 38, is facing problems due to either there is no water supply or if it comes.. Its of very low pressure for 10-15 minutes.

                  This shortage is consistent every year for our entire 38 block, when summer season starts from march to august/september...in winters there is no shortage.

                  Humble request to all the concerned authorities to kindly look into the matter.

                    Subject: complaint u/s 5 and sec. 15 & 19 of environment (Protection) act-1986 and u/s 379 ipc for illegal & unauthorized bore-wells & illegally extraction of ground water house no-65, khasra no. 273/228/173, ground floor, near - convergence public school, elect pole no-532-49/5/1/1, gali no-10, village wazirabad, delhi-110084

                    Respected sir,

                    My complaint regarding the above-said matter/issue and i have also attach/uploaded the detailed complaint with this grievance and please read as part of my complaint. Owners of the said house kamla, prahlad & his sons vinod & ved prakash doing paying guest business at said house and tenants use bore-wells water which are unsafe for health and body but owners of the house compelled the paying guest/tenants to use bore-wells water for daily use and misuse the ground water. National green tribunal time to time give directions to the govt. Authorities to take action on illegal bore-wells which are running without permissions because borewells discharging contaminated water containing high levels of fluoride and arsenic, in red colour to approse people that the water was not fit for human consumption.

                    Owners are use bore-wells again and again by digging from very long period of time and also owners are the illegally/unauthorized digging and use the djb pipe line water and stealing the govt water regular basis. After the several complaints property & bore-wells neither inspected nor sealed by any of the govt. Officials till date.in this house all activities are illegal & unauthorized and against the n. G. T, d. P. C. C, c. P. C. B, mcd-north & environment law-rule-regulations, owners are committed crime as cognizable & non - bailable offence as per law.

                    The environment (Protection) act, 1986 provides for power to give directions with regard to stoppage or relation of the supply of electricity, water or any other service u/s 5 and sec. 15 of the act provides for penalty for contravention of the provisions of the act and the rules, orders and directions. The sec. 15 of environment (Protection) act provides for imprisonment for a term which may extend to 5 years or with fine which may extend to rs. 1, 00, 000/- or with both and as per schedule ii of classification of offences of cr. Pc the offence u/s 15 of environment (Protection) act is cognizable and non-bailable offence.

                    That as far as the registration of a case under ipc with regard to illegal
                    Boring/bore-well is concerned, at the most it can be registered for the offence u/s 379 ipc for stealing of water and the punishment u/s 379 is maximum for three years. So, the provisions of section 15 of environment (Protection) act are more stringent then section 379 ipc. Even otherwise, environment (Protection) act is a special law and as per the provisions of cr. Pc and ipc, the special law will prevail.

                    Please the issue the directions to the djb, local police, concern s. D. M (Civil lines), and central ground water board to jointly inspect the property bore-wells and take legal action as per law.

                    Prayer

                    Sir, please take legal action against the culprits and save the environment as per the environment (Protection) act-1986 and give the direction to the local police and other authorities to register the f. I. R on above said issue.

                      My kno no. Is [protected] and bill received in the month of apr 20 and units consumed was also mentioned on the bill... Everyone knows that due to lockdown since march 20, no one came to take any reading. This bill is incorrect, as in last more than 1 year, we never consumed so much water. My consumption is always below 20, 000 ltrs and you can even check last one year history. Pls. Review my bill and send me the correct one.

                        Sir,
                        I have received a water bill msg on mobile from delhi jal board. Bill amount is rs. 1041 bill date 25april 2020. And this amount is wrong as per water meter reading they record meter reading on 14th apr 2020 meter reading status ns and previous meter reading 520 on 24.10.2019. The actual meter reading on 27.04.2020 is aprox 565 units.. The difference between them is only 45 units for current consumption days 118. Then why we get bill of rs 1041 whereas 20 kl water free/month. Please check and do needful changes in water bill that i have attached as proof. Please have look.

                            Hi team,

                            I am tenant and live at below address and received water bill for april 2020, which is incorrect since my monthly consumption is less than 15k liter monthly and i have 500 liter tank which i don’t fill on daily basis, even if i do then it only fill half of it since my usage is very less & half water remains in tank. I live my spouse only. Not sure if water meter is incorrect however i have attached photo of my meter reading till 26th april which is “74350” and i asked my landlord to get it checked but he shared number of concern team but due to lock down they cannot assist.

                            Till dec-19 i had 900 approx. Credit in account, how this can be adjusted against jan2020 bill when my usage is less then 15k and till 20k liter is subsidized.

                            Please review and clear my bill. Due to this lockdown i going through very challenging day and i can not pay this, this is incorrect.

                              2) इसके बाद 12 दिसम्बर 2019 से 04 फरवरी 2020 में अगले बिल की राशि 2258 रूपये आई, जो 54 दिन की थी और इसके 63 यूनिट आए, परंतु कुछ दिनों के बाद इस बिल को वेबसाइट से हटा दिया गया।

                              3) इसके बाद 14 अप्रैल 2020 तक का दोबारा बिल बनाया गया जिसमें बिल की राशि 7388 दी गयी, और यह 124 दिन तथा 176 यूनिट दिए गए।

                              4) जहाँ मीटर स्टेट्स बिल में n/s दिया हुआ है,

                              5) और वही पर 15 मार्च से पानी मोटर का बिलकुल भी उपयोग नही किया गया जिसका कारण है, lockdown के कारण delhi में किसी का नही होना।
                              6) साथ साथ क्या 4 लड़को के द्वारा एक महीने में कितना पानी का उपयोग किया जा सकता है इसका अंदाज तो आप भी लगा सकते है।

                                  I don't understand when my consumption is less than 20000kl how come the bill is to be paid.
                                  There is no arrears to be paid.

                                      I wish to say that i am a resident of b119 3rd floor paryawaran complex new delhi. Delhi jal board has completed the work of new sewerage pipe line in the month of february 2020. But this new pipeline is not linked with the main pipeline. So water is overflowing from mainholes. Construction of the road has not done. Mosquitos are breeding. Many people are suffering from malaria disease. Many complaint has been registered with d. J. B. But no action has been taken. Please do the needful at the earliest. Thanking you.
