Sir, on[protected], i submitted a complaint dated[protected] in your consumer forum as under but no response has been received from east delhi municipal corporation. Kindly send a reminder to them and kindly refund the amount of rs.904/- immediately. Kindly also give the email address and phone number of of the east delhi municipal corporation property tax. The letter dated[protected] is reproduced as under:-

Sir, my son shri mohan joshi made payment of rs.904.42 (For property tax of rs.894/-) for the year 2019-20) property tax on[protected] by his state bank credit card no.[protected] but he did not get any message from the property tax website in his mobile phone in this regard.
The details of the transaction on 1-6-2019 is as follows :-

Transaction number : 38018626
Transaction id : 1248278
Transaction amount : 804.00
Transaction error : pending

So, he again made payment of rs.904.42 on[protected]For property tax of rs.894/- for the year 2019-20. This time he got a message of payment made in his mobile phone. He has thus made double payment of rs.904.42 for property tax for the property tax of rs.894/- for the year 2019-20. It is, therefore, requested to please refund the amount of rs.894/- to my son mohan joshi’s s. B. Account no.[protected] of state bank of india, b block, dilshad garden, delhi-110095 branch who had made payment two times on my behalf.
My son has made submitted grievance on[protected] in website of east delhi municipal corporation. The details are as under:-

Dear mr mohan joshi,
This is with reference to the transaction at above mentioned on your sbi card credit card number [protected].
We are unable to provide credit for the said transaction since the transaction is beyond the stipulated time frame. We, therefore request you to approach the merchant directly to claim this credit and clear the outstanding amount due towards your sbi card account. We are closing the above mentioned dispute at our end.

The website of municipal corporation of east delhi shows the status of the grievance as "pending". So many months' time has elapsed. So, it it requested to kindly take up this matter with the municipal corporation of east delhi at the earliest and please take frequent follow ups till this grievance petition is resolved.

    Hi,
    I am a resident of vishwas park, uttam nagar delhi - 59. We applied for water connection with djb on 03.05.2019 with all the required documents but even after almost 10 months we are struggling with regular visits to zo to get the status which shows the same as "sent to zro for field inspection and file sanction".
    Even grievance was also filed on 09.01.2020 and was updated by a reputed officer that our file is sent to ho and matter will be resolved in 15 days and complaint was closed. But after 2 months status is still the same as earlier.
    Please help us resolving our issue as early as possible because life without water connection is very difficult.

      Dear sir, i am resident of e-block tagore garden extn. We are suffering from stomach infection due to dirty water supply in our area, we get water alternate day but water is full of mud and not usable, we are service class people, can not wait entire day for clean, water, can be get any solution we can get pure water, every day. Situation is worst please help us.
      We can not buy drinking water everyday

      I had paid a wrong amount to Delhi jal board which is Rs 6437 when the bill was zero. Same i communicated to the office but they refused to refund the amount.

      Can you please tell me how the amount can be refunded as the bill amount was actually zero at that time and the amount is too big to let go.

        Dear sir,
        Your kind attention is drawn to the following details for your kind perusal and necessary action.

        Bill dated:- 13 feb 2020
        Amount:- rs. 4418/-
        Consumption shown in bill :- 100 kl
        Bill period:- 10 dec 19 to 13 feb 20

        It is to bring ur notice that per capita water consumption for domestic purpose prescribed in our country is 135 litre per capita per day (Lpcd). With that with family of three at first floor of 5/30 residence for which water connection alloted, total daily consumption would be 3x135=405 litres and monthly consumption would come out equal to 405x31=12555 litre which is well below i. E. Only 60% of monthly permitted 20000 litres. This actual consumption would even be less than the above calculation when we take it for peak winter period i. E. Dec, jan months. When water consumption is everywhere on lower side.

        This is available on record that water consumption of previous month's for last two years for the aforesaid connection was always well below than the 20 kl monthly limit.
        The consumption as shown in bill indicates 100000/63= 1587 litre per day for family and 529 litre per capita per day which is no where in the range of prescribed limit of domestic consumption.
        With above deliberation, it appears that there would be sudden jump in meter reading which lead to sudden spurt in water bill.

          Its been almost 3 months, since december 2019 we residents of a block vishal enclave, have been suffering due to poor sanitization services due to negligence and inappropriate response.

          Many households are not been serviced with satisfactory water supply, and if the water is released to the households it has poor quality, and smell. Please make urgent action on this and let us know the next steps

But even after 2 months the status is showing on djb website that the file is pending 'sent to zro for field inspection and file sanction', since 13.01.2020. Can you please help in resolving the matter as i have tried to follow up multiple times in the office but not getting satisfactory response.

              Hi sir/mam, please note that i am a resident of nw -185, vishnu garden, near khayala. There’s no water supply from last 5 days and also if it comes it’s black and dirty water as sewage. We are facing a lot of issues due to unavailability of water in our street. This is a recurring type of issue. I have to raise complaint once in a month for the water quality/ u availability/ timing issues. Request you to look into the matter in detail.

                water smells like sewage

                From past 2 months our djb water smells like sewer water and is totally unfit for consumption. We have been relying on the ground water for our daily needs. Even after making numerous complaints with the djb and after their team taking samples a number of times (Which everytime came as bad quality), nothing has been done in this matter so far. I also lodged a grievance...

                I am raising this complaint because of the sewer overflow problem faced by me and resident of r 194/5 (8 foot wali gali) jogabai extension from last 2 weeks (Starting from february 2020).

                It is very difficult to walk in that gali because of continuous sewer overflow. Also it is not limited to move across gali but it could be serious danger to the health of people living in that gali specially children and elders as their immune system is weak.

                I'm writing from C 24 Block C Road Paryavaran Complex Saket 110030, here from last 1 week continuously dirty water from sewe manhole is coming out. Full road is filled with filthy water having foul smell. Please do the needful and help us out. Lot of mosquitoes are breeding and we have health issues. Due to this road construction has also stopped.

                Till now no one came from PWD or Municipality dept. Or Delhi Jal Board.. As told in my complaint that mosquitoes start breeding, leaving us with health issues.. So we have to do it by ourselves.. Which cost us Rs. 1200.. What is the use of Municipal community and PWD dept.. When we have to do this by ourself.. Kindly look into this..

                                I am a resident of gali no. 12, ashok nagar, main wazirabad road, delhi-110093.

                                There is a man in our street running an "illegal bike washing centre" and he washes the bikes with drinking water (Tap water) and u can guess how much water is wasted.

                                People in india don't have water for drinking and this guy is washing bikes with it. Pathetic!!

                                Water: the elixir of life
                                Essay on water conservation - it is said that around 3.7 billion years ago, the earth cooled down and had warm oceans.in these warm water bodies, the first single-celled organisms evolved. Thus, water was instrumental in the origin of life. 70% of the earth is covered with water, and up to 70% of the human body is made of water. Today we have millions of marine species, but many plants and animals evolved to survive in non-saline conditions.

                                The human civilization rose on the banks of rivers. Early human beings settled down along the fertile river basins as it was easy for growing crops, and was convenient for transportation too. Presently, agriculture demands for 70% of the freshwater needs. Industries and domestic uses share the rest thirty percent. But this precious resource has become scarce due to many human-made reasons.

                                Water scarcity
                                Only three percent of the total water available is freshwater. But more than sixty percent of this potable water is locked up in ice caps and glaciers. Therefore, we humans must consume water judiciously. But so far, we have done the reverse. We exploit water extensively for agriculture and industrial purposes.

                                Moreover, we haven't kept our water bodies clean. Industrial effluents and sewage discharges are directly let into rivers.in cities, buildings come up on dried ponds and lakes. So, when it rains, we don't have the facility to store the rainwater. Therefore, we not only have frequent flash floods, but the rainwater goes to the sea and gets wasted. We use the fertile soil from riverbeds carelessly, and it leads to flooding in riverine areas too. So, we humans are primarily responsible for reducing the holding capacity of water bodies.

                                We live in concrete jungles, and a green cover is almost missing in our cities. It is the roots of trees that help in retention of groundwater. Moreover, plants release oxygen and absorb carbon dioxide. Thus, they are instrumental in curbing global warming.                                   Respected sir/madam
                                  I got installed a new water meter in the month of september 2019 by delhi jal board employee with k no: [protected]. I have received a water bill of rs. 9217 with bill period of 5/10/19 to 7/12/19 (I. E 2 months). There is not any previous balance or pending amount.
                                  I have a 200 litre water tank only. I do not live here full time. There is neither cooking nor clothes washing type of household work involved.
                                  Kindly have a look into this matter.

                                    I yogesh kumar member at anytime fitness pusa road, new delhi. I joined this fitness centre on 10.11.2019. I heard a very high of you. But it is disgusting as many a time requested to use the tv for tv news in reply your well educated trainer asked that he has no knowledge of operating tv and he wont help in any case. I asked him should i contact to your management then the said he is least bothered, and challenged me you may complaint to any superior and he would not use the tv. I took annual membership but the kit has not yet been provided till date.
                                    Is this treatment to a upcoming new member. I have initiated my all friend circle to joint any time. But such behavior of your staff will hurt the other members.

                                      Hello,

                                      Today i received incorrect water bill of
                                      Rs 7098. As per customer care my usage is 137 units for two months. Then is came to know from customer executive that the reading i have been charged is incorrect i. E. Instead of 2895 unit reader noted for 2995 unit which means 100 unit extra.
