Dear sir/mam,

This is to inform you that i (Owner) resident of flat no. 233, pkt-13, ph-1, manglapuri, dwarka, new delhi – 45 with installed water meter no. 2014a2035364 on 10.12.2016 by delhi jal board vide its receipt no. 12691 in exchange of existing old water meter. The k. N. O. Number is [protected].

That in july 2016 / january 2017 i found my water meter stolen due to no supply of water in taps. I have lodged a complaint to palam police station instantly. Thereafter no effective steps were taken by the concerned police.

That due to hefty/inaccurate bills without consumption recently on 01.03.2019 i installed isi marked kranti meter no. 100371 purchased through recognized shop vide receipt no. 2089. I am a regular water consumer of djb and paid last bill on 13.08.2019 vide receipt no.[protected] amount of rs. 19.120/-.

That submitting the application regarding installed above mentioned water meter along with requisites the 02 officers on the desk for receipt of application in room 127 denied to accept the same and also directed to contact ms. Sunita in room no. 123. Ms. Sunita declined to accept the application on the pretext with condition that the l&t is only authorized water meter installer and no other brand water meter is acceptable therefore threw the application in wind. Ms. Sunita also warned to undersigned that if i fail to deposit rs. 7200/- price of new water meter then i will continue receiving the hefty wrong water bill identical to earlier once. Ms. Sunita forced me to deposit 7200/- or else face the consequences. Ms. Sunita also affirmed that the meter reading will be hypothetical even if no water meter installed until new installation and reading in installed meter is void and will not consider while billing next. There has been no meter reading by any official since last one year and wrongly mentioned meter reading date as 29.06.2019 in bill. You are sending average bills.

That on 16.08.2019 i again visited the same office to submit the fresh application for water meter installation however, ms. Sunita along with mr. Devendra declined to accept the application despite the undersigned ready to submit the required amount of rs. 7200/- there and then wherein they demanded copy of fir which is lost due to over sightedness by me.

Hence, i bound to deposit amount of rs. 7200/- cost of new water meter installation to reduce fraud created as planned strategy by delhi jal board.

The true copy of receipt last bill paid is enclosed and details of current installed meter testing report & guarantee/warranty card, receipt is in safe custody of the undersigned. Under the circumstances, i request you to resolve the issue at the your earliest, so that may be correct reading of the meter and the correct water bills are prepared hereof.

The meter reading as on 10.08.2019 is 0006092 to be noted.

    Sir,
    I would like to inform you that laying of sewer line in street no. 10, durga park, near dabri extension was done but the sewer connection from small manhole to main manhole was blocked for smooth working but they intentionally not clear the same after repeated requests. Due to this sewer water is flowing in the street from last 15 days. They only assured us to clean the manhole before leaving the site but they did not do so. As a result the sewer water is flowing in the street and mosquitoes have developed which causes the serious problem to the society.

    Sir, this is totally the work of negligence which can't be avoided. Nobody can expect this kind of workmanship from the department.

    We, the residents of street no. 10, request your kind indulgence to unblock the sewerline and to solve our problem at the earliest.

      As per notification no. Djb/dor/policy/2013-14/109 dt.01.01.2014 related free water consumption upto 20kl per month is exempt from payment of water bill w. E. F 01/01/2014. But in our bill for the period from[protected] to[protected] consumption 48 days consumed unit 26. According to the bill period my monthly consumption is less than 20kl. But djb is charging me bill of rs. 1095 for that period that is violation of above mentioned circular.

        Address: Madangir local shopping complex opposite Birla Vidya Niketan school plot no.1 Malwa taxi stand, New Delhi, Delhi, 110062

        There is a taxi stand by name malwa taxi stand at address - plot no.1 local shopping centre madangir near pushpa bhawan who waste water a lot atleast 2-3 times during a day by washing there cars by using pipes daily.

        There tank overflows and there is no one to look after to take care and control the wastage as there water tanks have locks on them and water keeps overflowing the whole day. The taps in the washroom keeps running frequently and litres and litres of water is wasted daily.
        Neither any water metre is installed for tracking consumption of water.

        Please look into the matter at the earlist.

        there is sewer blockage at Lajpat Nagar -2 / D block around house 1, 2, 3, 4
        Causing dirty roads, with mosquito breeding there.
        Please help, before some one falls ill.

          मेरे हाउस नो. T -576, गली नो. -2, गुरूद्वारे वाली गली, बलजीत नगर, नई दिल्ली -110008 में पानी की बहुत समस्या हो गई है, रात को 02 बजे पानी आधे घंटे के लिए आता हे, घर में दो कनेक्शन है कम से कम 800 -1000 लीटर पानी की जरुरत होती है जो पूरी नहीं होती, पानी भरते- भरते बीमारों जैसी हालत हो गई है, सुबह समय से ड्यूटी भी नहीं जा पाते!
          गली में पानी की लाइन बहुत छोटी है, लोगो ने पांच -पांच मंजिल मकान बना लिए हैं, बड़ी -बड़ी मोटर लगा रखी हैं और पानी की लाइन मैं पानी का प्रेशर नहीं रहता तो हमारे मकान तक पानी नहीं पहुँच रहा जिससे हम बहुत परेशान है गली मे ओर लोग भी परेशान हैं
          कृपया हमारी समस्या का समाधान करे आप कि अति कृप! होगी

            I have got water bill of my premises at vikaspuri from 18th april, 2019 to 24 july, 2019 for the amount of rs. 10376. The numbers of days for billing cycle is listed as 97 and units consumption given as 146. However, previous meter reading status taken on 18 april 2019, is given as /rddt and current meter reading status taken on 24 july, 2019 is also listed as /rddt. When meter reading is detained (Rddt), how can current consumption indicated as 146 units? To my surprised arrears of amount rs. 3875 is also added in water bill without indicating any reason, while my all previous bills are cleared as given in payment history. My premises water bill is coming always in high amount while we hardly used excess water. I checked water meter of my premises, it is working properly. I am 88 year old super senior citizen and it is not possible for me to run from one place to other place for rectifying my water bill. I lodged my complaint at 1916 (Toll free number for complaint) and complaint number is given as [protected]. It is requested that my complaint may be listen earlier due to my age and health.

              Sir i am a resident of j -12/39 rajouri garden, new delhi 110027. Since 1963 my father was in possession of the said property. Till date, the sewar line has not been replaced. Every alternate month i have to complain about it's blockage. The pipe appears to be old and small about 3 to 4 inches dia. I request to replace by a 10 inch dia to avoid any blockage/ reverse flow.

                I m resident of 565 mukeem pura subzi mandi clock tower Delhi 110007. I woul like to take your attention on our probls. The sewrage line is blocked in our locality form long time. Many time your worker clear it but pipe line is blocked every after 1 day. Pipe line chocking reason is the saver line was changed 10 to 12 years ago, due to which the entire pipeline is now frozen, so the pipeline gets chocked again and again. This creating lot of bad smell and developing large number of Insects.

                Please help us we have made complaints many times my complaint no. is[protected] dated 06/08/2018 but no action take yet kindly let us know where we have to do complaint. So that we take breathe relief.

                  Since about a month very unclean and incredibly foul smelling water is being supplied to homes of consumers residing in hari enclave, dda lig flats, hari nagar, near deen dayal upadhyay hospital.

                  This happens every year during monsoon season. I want to bring this to the notice of delhi jal board so they may take appropriate action on this matter.

                  I request them to start working on covering the drainage and pipeline system so that the water supply does not get contaminated during rainy season.

                  The water being currently supplied is not even good enough to wash clothes. Our bodies begin to smell if we take a bath in this water.

                  The water is unfit for drinking even after passing through a ro water purifier.

                  We request you to correct this on a permanent basis so that it doesn't happen every year.

                    My sister dr (Mrs) tripta verma, retd associate professor, [delhi university] stays at b 1a/ 27b, (Dda mig flats) janakpuri, new delhi, her water meter connection k no. Is [protected]
                    She is abroad in usa since last three months. She has asked me to lodge this complaint on her behalf. She had paid last bill as per meter readings, for rs. 4831/- on 25.04.2019.
                    Now she has seen on internet another bill for rs. 1077/-. {to be paid by 26th august 2019} some arrears to be paid are shown. This is totally incorrect and we lodge a strong protest. When premises are locked and there is no water consumption, how another bill can be raised. Please withdraw this bill urgently.

                      Sir, sewer outside my house no. Wz-197/2 street no.3a varinder nagar new delhi 110058 is completely damaged from last 1 year and is creating problem for all the houses in the street. Its upper lid and base is completely broken due to which sewer wall bricks are dropping inside hence blocking the sewer and resulting to overflow. Please repair the said sewer as earliest as possible as any thing unusuall can happen as children used to play in the gali. Please consider it seriously.

                            Sewer lines of our area behind qtr no 539, sector 1, r k puram, new delhi 110022 are blocked very badly. Concerned department employee came to clear the lines but failed. Our area is totally smelling and looks like a flooded area. So you are requested please do the needful at the earliest. Please clear all the sewer line with hi tech equipment. Looking forward for your kind action towards the safe and clean environment

                              Dear sir,
                              Your kind attention is drawn to the following table for your kind perusal and necessary action.

                              The delhi jal board (Djb) bill of 8 months around (43 thousands rupees). Our kno is [protected]. For a family, this bill is not at all feasible.

                              Initially we were told that pay the amount then it would be corrected so we paid around 13000 rupees in february 2019. After the meter checking, it was found that there was problem with the meter but bill hasnt been adjusted. After the meter correction the meter is running around 5 times slower. But they havent replaced the meter. Current outstanding is 31000. We cant pay this illogical bill. There is no satisfactory response from the delhi jal board office as they just say that you have to pay bill. They very well agree that bill is unjustified but they say they can't do anything about it. Please get this corrected and also refund our 13 thousands rupees paid earlier.

                              I will earnestly request you to please take an appropriate decision after this plea.

                                I have subit my last bill on -14 jun 2016 of rs 524, on that time my outstanding was 0, now after 3 or 4 years jal board sent me bill of rs 16419, i want my monthly statement... Sirkejrival give 700 ltr water free in a day. I have not use extra 700 ltr so how can this bill is correct. I was go also at jal board office but they didnt give response

                                      Dear sir/madam,

                                      We have been approaching since long, but till date our complaint has not been resolved by djb. Initially they did lum sump billing without visiting our premises and then we paid the amount (Inr 3688.99) against djb invoice no[protected]. A hard copy with a request for waiver has been submitted to djb and they assured for the action. Till date we have not received our payment back (Rs. 3688.99) which was not payable but we paid to avoid any penalty.

                                      I would like to inform you that djb is continued with lum sump invoicing and also raising invoices without considering our request. There is no clarity at all.

                                      Djb has sent sms for notice on nonpayment of the current bill amount rs. 2881 against bill no.:[protected].

                                      Please assist us how we can pay this amount if our issue has not been sorted till date?

                                      We will appreciate if you intervene in this matter because our request for waiver is still not attended for lump sum and incorrect billing.

                                        Hi,

                                        We the residence of block no.15, dakshinpuri, dr. Ambedkar nagar sec.05 are facing concerns with overflow of an illegal sewer in front of house no.271 block no.15. Because of the slope, the sewer waste and water is flowing in front of our houses which may make our children ill. As that's the only path for moving out from the house, we the residence of house no. 248 to house no.268 of block no.15 are forced to walk on that sewer waste and water every day.

                                        Would request you to kindly look into the issue on urgent basis and provide solution.
