I have already submitted written complaints regarding my bill which i have received from the jal board office.

I am not using my water connection from last 3-4 months but still getting the bill on regular basis. I have already inform the same to mr. Ramanand (Djb employee) to check the same.

Request you to please assign somebody on this issue and send me the revised bill as per the consumption.

    This complaint is in regards of wastage of djb supply water.in chanchal park nangloi-najafgarh road west delhi -41.in street no 13, 14, 15 people connected the water supply line without permission of delhi jal board. And wasting drinking water in purposes of washing vehicle, throwing large amount of water on road without any issue, and keep running tap intentionally, through the supply water in to street drainage, daily changes water of the cooler with drinking water and many more.
    Conclusion is there are so much water wastage of djb supply water because no water meter installed in these area in many houses.
    Kindly have a survey when water supply is on then you can realize the water wastage.
    I am requesting complaint as a responsible citizen of india because i understand the severity of water scarcity which will be faced in near future.
    I will be glad if my identity will not be revealed.

        To delhi jal board authority,

        I am a resident of l - 121, laxmi nagar, delhi - 92, writing this letter to inform you about the daily water wastage by my neighbors who live in l-122 in the same society.

        Whenever i am leaving for work or coming back, i see that water is continuously overflowing from there water pipe on to the road visible to public eye for hours and hours. This results in thousands of liters of water waster per day.

        We have tried to deal with them on a personal level but due to multiple families living in the building. No one is taking the accountability for it.

        Since the water is coming on the road i am afraid that it also sweeps down under our houses causing severe effect on the foundation of not only their house but ours as well.

        I request you to please take the necessary action against the occupants and stop there water supply until the deal with this issue. We are all aware about the water crisis happening across india and they are accomplice to this crime since months.

          There is a house in my locality where fresh water overflows endlessly for the entire day. Free water in delhi doesn't mean wastage of fresh water. Please take an action against them. I am not aware of the house no. But it is opposite to the back side of house no. A31 samaypur badli yadav nagar new delhi. Inspire of they being aware that they have their water motor on cannot the tenant or landlord ensure that they switch it off timely. There are places where there is scarcity of water and these literate people commit such crime of wasting the water. It is so disheartening to see water getting wasted. We give them a call telling them please switch of the water motor as it's been long water is overflowing no action is taken at their end. Heard the landlord is the lawyer and no action shall be taken by the govt against the lawyer, please this cannot be an excuse. I expect consumer compalint forum to be active and unbiased.

              For the last couple of days we the resident of rohini secto-4, b-9 are facing the problem of smelly and filty water supply. It is causing us great disturbance to carry out our daily life. It is our humble request to look through this complaint urgently otherwise we need to take this to the higher authority or in worst circumstance, this may lead to protest as well.

                Dear sir/ma'am
                I am resident of south extn part-2, gali no -5, uttam nagar west, new delhi-110059. Sir/ma'am its around 1 month the water which is provided by delhi jal board is very dirty, impure and foul smelling. No one can use that water for other purposes like washing, cooking etc, and it also creates a chances of serious health hazard problem like diarrohea, etc, and this problem is faced by lots of folks in our locality.
                So its my humble request with you to provide us immediate resolution of this problem

                  Hello sir.
                  I am residing in 667-668, new rajinder nagar, double storey area.
                  We have been facing some issues with water supply lately.
                  The usual time for water supply in our area was roughly from 4.15 to 8.00 am daily routinely.
                  But for last almost one month, we are getting water only for one to one & half hour from 4.30am to 6.00am in morning with no water supply in rest of the day, which is not at all sufficient for daily usage. This is happening with almost all the houses in our area that we know about and also with one of nearby rwa (Adarsh society). Few o[censored]s have changed our motors, thinking of problems with the same, but in vain.
                  I request you to spare your valuable time and look into this matter, as it is becoming a chronic issue that we have been facing.

                    In our locality i have seen a watering unit which is wasting water. I have seen it several times. Unka pani seedha naali me jata hai.. Bahut sara pani jo raat ka bacha hua hota hai wo usse bhi nali me hi phek dete hai..
                    Its location is
                    Shiv mandir ke samne wali gali me 7th or 8th plot.

                    I dont think they have licence also for water treatment

                      I'm a resident of a-54 second floor, amritpuri garhi, near super bajar mkt & blue sky office, east of kailash.

                      In my building residents of 3rd floor wasting the water every day. Liters and litres of water overflow every day in the late evening. A huge amount of water is getting wasted since many a month.

                      It results in wall sealing at my hone and also the overall building is getting affected to that. The 02 flats on the ground floor are fully getting flooded every 2 months just because of water overflow from the tanks which are placed on a building terrace and no one has fixed the bells, overflow pipes or any type of alarm to maintain these things.

                      There were many reminders have been given to them but they are not willing to do so & even they are just ignoring the issue. Property in which we are staying is badly affected and it leads to electricity shots from the wet walls.

                      Please look into this matter at the earliest.

                          I am one of the resident of radhika vihar nagar palika park sokh road mathura up our area is suffering from highly dirty and smelly water from past one week which is not even suitable for washing and cleaning purpose, no one can even think of drinking it. It smells like it comes from some dead bodies. Please help us in this matter since it becoming a serious issue and already made some persons hospitalised.
                          We hope that our government will take some strict action in this matter so that we can proudly say that we are delhities

                            This gali residents gets water supply on alternative days that too for small amount of time please provide us a proper schedule of water supply as we are students and are suffering a lot because of this. There is no proper timings as far as i know if there are please inform us about that too. Without water supply it's really tough for us to manage.

                              Dear sir/madam,

                              Kindly be informed we the residents of b-1653, near jalebi chowk, b block shastri nagar
                              North west delhi-110052 would like to bring to your kind attention that mcd water supply in our locality from past few months has been very dirty and foul smelling.

                              The water supply is so unclean that it cannot be used even for washing/bathing purposes so one cannot imagine it for drinking/consuming. Moreover this has been an ongoing issue from past couple of months due to which many residents of our locality are facing serious health hazards like diarrhea, jaundice etc.

                              Apart from dirty water supply, another major concerned, which needs to be addressed, is the water supply timing in our area. There’s no fixed water supply timing at all, most of the time water supply comes after midnight or during odd hours.

                              Hence it’s a humble request to the concerned authorities to kindly look into this matter at the earliest and fix the situation. Your timely co-operation on this matter would be highly appreciated.

                                In d-1 block gali no.-1, 2&3 badarpur extension, goyal farm house, illegal water supplies connection are in every other single 3-4 storey building and all of them are either in delhi police or in reputed post or politically active. They are showing their contacts and taking illegal connections in their house without having legal papers and even when inspection happens they gives bribe to the concerned person. Nowthese days sewage work is under process so it's request to the authority to do inspection and check the connections. This is the right time to check the things else again we will loose faith on government.

                                I am very upset to see that nothing is happening because the so called Pradhan is also supporting them with other powerful and effective Delhi police residents. it's sad to see everything happened illegally and no one is here to see and take proper actions.

                                  We have sent so many mails to djb, to resolved our drinking water problems. But yet not rcvd any single response.

                                  "please be informed that we are the residence where's the drinking water problem is increasing day by day. Djb supply water is not hygiene for health. Our gali is the main gali to enter in our colony, we don't know why any water atm machine yet not installed by djb.

                                  In view of the above requesting you on the behalf of our residents to allocate one of the water atm machine, as nearby no machine installed. So our residents also will take the benefits of the same and drink the fresh water on a daily basis & be healthy.

                                    Dear sir, madam

                                    My name is ahanjit champati and i have a house in dwarka, sector 9 pocket 1. New delhi in the name of my wife ms shabina champati. We have been staying away from delhi since feb 2015 in mumbai post my transfer and my house was on lease.

                                    During this period y jan 2015- oct 2018, we never received a single copy of any water bill from delhi jal board. It is only upon my tenants insistence was a copy provided in sept 2018 at djb office

                                    To our utter shock the bill amount was inr 158060, which had a significant amount of accumulated arrears in form of late payment surcharge (Lpsc) over 4 years.

                                    My biggest mistake, that i paid the outstanding amount upfront on 28th september 2018. My intention was to pay and claim the excess bill later, and avoid any further lpsc, which clearly was a big blunder. Sir, i stay in mumbai and just don’t have the time to come and meet djb officials in delhi and fix the water outstanding bill. However later i was appraised by the society president that most residents had faced simialr issues of non receipt of bills & inflated bills with lpsc.

                                    I was advised to contact djb je, mr lk verma on 30th sept and he further guided me to speak with zonal revenue officer ms vijay laxmi @ [protected], room no 122-123 sec 5, dda office, dwarka. Upon contacting her on “phone”, she first gave be a big lecture and ensured i feel guilty of making the payment which was due for 4 years to djb. I didn’t have much option but to only feel bad sitting out of mumbai. She later asked me to contact ms kavitha (Her junior) and a request letter for excess refund was submitted through a friend on 15th sept.

                                    I was only told after a month that i need to fill a different form with long list of documents. The name of owner as per djb was ms veena sablok who was the first allottee of the apart ment however the house was in the name of ms shabina champati.

                                    To fix the ownership details, an entire set was handed over to a junior employee mr ravi in oct 18, who perhaps the only person who has done some progressive work in changing the meter and proceeded with documentation.

                                    My wife later went and met ms kavita, instead of helping her, she became a victim of sarcasm by djb officials. I will quote the joke made, “ madam agar sir ji ke pass itne paise hain, thode hume de dijiye “, this was extremely humiliating and am not sure how will you rate this as “ customer service”. This was disgusting

                                    Its been now close to 7 months, neither have i heard from anyone, nor have i received any update.in my view i should get a refund of atleast inr 1.15 to 1.2 lacs, as water bill for 4 years should at max be inr[protected].

                                    I am now told that grievance through this channel works faster and aap govt has been quite cooperative to listen and solve public grievances. I simply believe that what happened to me was incorrect and i just did a job of a good citizen to pay outstanding payments. Kindly help me regain my faith in the system to instill some confidence back.

                                    I enclose the copy of the bill and invoice of credit card payment.

                                    I have not heard anything since the complaint has been lodged . As per DJB officials advice I have done everything possible and My wife travelled in person to meet the officials but in vain .

                                    1.2 lacs rs is a big amount and the government officials have been giving no heed to my complaints . Am not asking for compensation, all am asking is for the excess funds paid . I really regret paying the entire bill amount and learnt a lesson and will never pay any bills ( if found incorrect or inflated ) in future . Really sad

                                      I am a resident of gali no.10, krishna puri, tilak nagar, new delhi-18 and we are getting foul smelling and dirty sewage mix water supply from the last 15 days i. E from 5th july 2019 till present. The lives of the residents are disturbed due to this. Already there are many problems related to water but whole gali no. 10 is receiving the same foul smelling dirty sever water from the last 15 days.
                                      In this matter several water complaints were made to janak puri jal board office, but every time they given assurance to solve the water problem but not taking any step to solve the same till date.

                                      Please take urgent action as it is getting unbearable

                                        Sir,
                                        I am a resident of old rajinder nagar and we are getting foul smelling sewage mix water supply at homes from past two days i. E from 18 july 2019 till present. The lives of the residents are disturbed due to this. How can one use this kind of water? I mean it will make people ill. Already there are many problems related to water but whole old rajinder nagar is recieving the same foul smelling water.
                                        Do something or people will get trapped into water borne diseases.
                                        Please take urgent action as it is getting unbearable.
