I purchased a dell venue 8 pro seven weeks back. It has been giving me problems since then. The very first day I figured out that the wireless is not working and I asked for technical support and they gave me the address of M/S Digicomp Noida. Till now I have taken my tablet there two times but still facing the same issue and whenever I talk to the customer service representative they just say "we will call you before End of Day; but I never receive any call from them. 7 weeks before I purchased it and for 4 and 1/2 weeks it has been with the service center. I don't know if I have purchased the tablet for my use or for their hands-on practice.

    I bought a inspiron 3521 in July, 2013 and my warranty expired in July, 14. In september, 2014 my laptop screen is not working even after power button pressed. I contacted the Dell Toll Free number. They send me a mail regarding a quotation for engineers visit to my home. The mail contains methods of payment of fees for the same. I wonder why they ignored the online payment. They have IVRS credit/debit card payment and account transfer. Bothe will take 1 to 2 days depending upon on the mercy of banks and later Dell support staff. After I paid the fee by using IVRS after generating OTP, I came to know that the engineer will visit in 3 to 5 business days. I wondered by knowing that they work only monday to friday. The dell site deliberately ignored to give mail id for further complaints. and not engaging enginners matching with the sales and need of service they had. Its has worst after sales service on the earth. I never want to purchase the dell product again. Thank you for teaching a lesson. Dell has to feel shame because in these days even if we purchased an electronic item worth 1000 the companies are responding in hours time and they are providing service even on sundays as well as holidays. Dell has to look into the issue and engage as may engineers as to attend on same day or the immediate next days, sunday or monday. Train the executives to speak politely. and please dare to give email id s of higher authorities. Please use online payment option and forget the age old ivrs payments and account transfers.     Hello, Mr. Reddy,

    I used to be a Dell loyalist for a very long time ever since I was given an Inspiron 5100 by my employer, way back. It was directly brought from the US and I was really impressed by its sheer performance and ruggedness. I'd been using it for over 2 years and it never let me down.

    So, when Android Smart phones hit the markets, I had no second thoughts in buying a Dell XCD35 priced at an aggressive 10, 000 bucks at that time. But I was so disappointed after the phone started giving complaints one after the other and I had to take it to their service centres many times. Every time I was dealt with utter disregard for customer satisfaction and in the end, I sued them in Consumer Court.

    I did not even have to hire a lawyer and the only expense for the suit had been Rs. 200/-. The court had ruled in favour of me making Dell pay me a compensation of Rs. 5, 000/-

      Dell Support Service Request Number[protected] I bought an Alienware M14x bought 2 years back from Dell at approx. INR 1, 00, 000 due to its reputation as a premium product and high configuration for multi-media as I am a DJ I also bought 3 years extended warranty so that it helps me manage the risk to my business due to a non-functional laptop. -The battery got totally non-functional in August this year 2014 and ever since I have been trying to procure a battery As the battery was not covered under warranty(Verified by a service engineer from Dell), I purchased one ASAP over a phone call on 9th September and I was clearly informed that the battery was in stock. However, after a week I was updated that there has been some issue and a battery is not available. Every Friday from then on, I was updated that Ill get an update on Monday and every Monday I was told I will get an update on Friday I have still not got the battery and I have been informed that there are 2 options: 1. Wait indefinitely for the battery since we do not know when it will be available. 2. Take a ref-fund! I have a tour coming up on 20th of October 2014 and I am expected to use the laptop for live performances! How can I perform without a battery????? What is the use of a premium product and a warranty when I am still stuck with no laptop for the tour? I requested resolution and the Dell team says they cant commit when the battery will come. They cant commit nor wish to help with the issue. Meaning I have to buy a new laptop worth INR 1, 00, 000 again for the upcoming tour since they refuse to deliver on an order placed on 9th September and they committed delivery in 10days. I hence demand, a refund NOT on the battery but the laptop! I cant afford 2 premium cost laptops! They still have my payment made towards the battery.

            I bought a Dell Inspiron 3542 yesterday i.e 8 october 2014 from a shop called Dynamic Computer. The price they said was Rs. 38, 200 including vat. When my parents paid the money it was Rs. 38, 800 in the bill without any reason. I want the original price of Dell Inspiron on the above said date. They cheated and even I saw they took servicing charge of Rs 300 from a customer who was servicing it first time which was supposed to be free. They are just fooling almost every customer, so please take an immediate action.

                  I have send every required document and a DD of 1299 for "Back to college kit" and my warranty got extended, I have recieved my Levis coupon but it was more than 2 months I have not recieved my "earphone". Even I am not getting any reply of my mail from mail provided.                     This in reference to my Laptop Dell Vostro A 840(DJF87K1) purchased in Aug-2009 at Ahmednagar Dell Retailer for Rs.29000/-. After purchase, it was rarely used for 2 years because I relocated in Bangalore for job and was provided with a laptop by my company. Actual use of Laptop started in 2011, and within a year o[censored]se it started showing problem of loose hinges, cheap quality of plastic body which had crack on use, poor battery, adapter not working, hanging while working etc. In July/Aug-2013, I paid Dell India Rs. 10, 000/- for repair of my laptop which included a new body for laptop, hinges, LCD, and harddisk. Now, within one year of payment of Rs.10, 000/- for repair, my laptop has started showing problems o[censored]SB and Audio, not playing properly, getting auto off etc. I repeatedly contacted Dell Customer and every time, some or other replacement was suggested. The prices for the spare parts too vary daily from the same Dell Sales team. Thus within one year of Laptop repair by paying Rs.10, 000/- this situation has come, and Dell is asking me to pay 11, 000/- more for repair. This would make the repair charges more than the cost of laptop currently and its beyond economy. I doubt on the quality of laptop given by Dell India to me. When surfed on Internet it is seen that similar problem of mine is seen with many consumers using the same model, which indirectly points that this laptop seems to have this issue. Every year paying more than 10, 000/- for repairing !! Is this the quality we get from Dell ? I trust the brand hence I went with purchasing Dell but this is what I am facing!! Under such circumstances, I request Dell India to please replace/ repair my Laptop which seems to be defective machine as it needs periodic huge payment charges. Dr. Jaydeep Bairagi.

                          sir, i've bought a dell inspiron i3 2 months ago with preloaded windows 8.1.service tag no : B82DRZ1 but from day1, it ran very slow.i was told by customer helpline that your windows has crashed, although being geniune and bought from dell only.troubleshooting was done and it became normal.i use it very less.again the same problem started.dell engineer came and told me that the problem was due to 64 bit processor.but the executive and engineering kept on agruing over the issue and finally converted my laptop to 32 bit.they overcharged me with unjustified charges.now, i am running my laptop without windows, keyboard and mouse drivers blown away.now, they are not responding and if they respond.they are overcharging for everything. plz help me out

                                  Dear Sir, I had a problem with the display of my laptop a week ago. I took it to the "Reliable Computer", Choudhary Mode, Ghaziabad. I was told it is having an issue with the graphics card. I paid Rs 2500 for the same, as it was one of yours authorised dealers. When i asked for a bill, i was given no bill. Neither was i shown the component that was replaced. Now just after a couple of days the issue recurred. What should i do in this case. Now they are not picking up the call. I want to ask how can you distribute your license to such people who have no sense of customer service. Who will compensate for this.                                     Dear sir, I purchased a laptop DELL 13, VESTRO SERVICES, SERVICE TAG (S/N) 8T81PT1 EXPRESS SERVICE CODE [protected] FROM ANSUN ELECTRONICS PVT. LIMITED, 104, DEEPALI BUILDING, NEHRU PLACE, DELHI WITH CASH PAYMENT OF 29, 000 RUPEES ON 29th August. While after five days of the purchasing of the product i got some problem and gave a call to customer care service of DELL, they informed me that the warranty of the product has over much before . After that i called ANSUN shop, then they informed that they told me while i was buying the product that One year warrant will be provide form their shop only, which they did not. And if they did, it is not my concern, as i got a DELL product just a month before why should i accept a product that is not even in warranty period. Why should i receive service from a particular shop insted of the DELL ? They are not ready to upgrade the warranty period. I think they do the same with everybody . It is sheer customer right violation . Now i want to inform that if things wount get clear in 2-3 days i will left no option of going for leagl ways. After all one cant not entertain such fraud !!

I have called your technical support executives on numerous occasions and spent hours on the phone trying to solve the issues but there has been little to no improvement. Add to that, I seem to be facing a new problem everyday which has caused my work to suffer greatly. It is indeed disappointing that despite the fact that DELL prides itself on the quality of its product and the superiority of its customer care, a brand new machine is suffering from such terrible defects. I have listed out some of the major issues being faced by me on a day to day basis as under: 1. Difficulty in connecting with the internet whether it is via LAN or by means of a dongle. (Please note that other systems using the same LAN or dongle connection are facing no difficulty in connection, hence indicating that there is a fault in my machine) 2. Defect in the (“) key. The same has to be pressed twice in order for the (“) symbol to appear. 3. The light next to the integrated webcam comes on and goes off without any command upon starting of a new application even when the application being opened has nothing to do with the Webcam. 4. There is some internal process that starts in the machine periodically which causes a loud noise (of various sounds) as well as vibration of the machine as if the same has an ancient processor. The starting of these noises is not dependent on any workload of the machine and can start even when there is only one application running. 5. There is a lag in the receiving of commands by the machine in relation to opening of applications, files, folders, etc on numerous occasions. 6. On pressing the left click key on the mouse pad, the drop down of the right key appears very often which means that the incorrect command is being sent to the system. 7. Upon pressing the left key, the cursor locks and does not move upon sliding the fingers across the mouse pad. This makes scrolling on a page as well as dragging and dropping objects extremely difficult if not impossible. Please note that this problem began today. 8. The caps lock key seems to be defective. Very often once the key is pressed (signal light on the key being on), the output would be of lower case and when it is pressed again (signal light on the key being off), the output would be o[censored]pper case. 9. The general speed of the machine is quite slow and does not at all live upto the tall claims of the processor that have been made. As stated earlier, most of the aforementioned issues have been discussed with your technical personnel but no satisfactory advice or repair has been carried out. You are requested to forthwith ensure that all the above issues are addressed and fixed at the earliest or in the alternative a replacement machine is provided to me which will perform as per expectation. You will appreciate that the inferior performance of the machine is causing significant hindrance in my day to day work and is hence causing me serious mental agony. Hence, I request you to kindly treat this matter as urgent and do the needful at the earliest.
