I am writing this in agony and anger o[censored]sing Dell laptop. If questioned on the quality of their product, I was blamed and indirectly mentioned as cheater. Read on..Its quiet a long post.
I bought XPS 15Z in March 2012 through one of the known person working in DELL to save a few bucks.
Being my first laptop and expensive one as well I was handling with lot of care. Problem started in few months itself. It was very slow and many unwanted apps running background. I took it to the Dell customer care in Bangalore where I lived at that time. They asked me to get all the software and leave the laptop with them. They called after few days and said that everything is rectified. But taking to their customer care continued for many times after that. I move back to my home town, Chennai. There is no customer care centres here. So, when dialled the service numbers they said that I am a privileged customer and service would be done at my door step. I was so happy. People, saying coming from DELL (actually HCL folks) came for service. DELL service tie-up with HCL. wow!!! what a collaboration. I was not bothered as long as the issue is resolved. They came, said your HDD has crashed. Please take backup and change it. I said OK, they changed it.
next time, keypad working, OK Sir we will change,
next time, mouse pad not working, OK Sir we will change
next time, Optical drive not working, OK Sir we will change(twice)
next time, LCD not working, OK Sir we will change(twice)
next time, Speakers not working, OK Sir we will change
No charges Sir, its all FREE.
These many service people came and changed the parts.
More than the usage my system got tampered of frequency of opening and changing these parts.
Now frustrated and feared of so many defects I called DELL again in September 2014 as my optic drive is not working again to tell my concerns on changing of part these many times and doubted on the quality of the parts they use in the laptop as my warranty is ending in March 2015 and wanted a permanent solution. I m blamed that I have changed the LCD outside and its not a DELL part and added that the warranty is void and there wont be any service provided by DELL as I have cheated them. Who is the cheater here? Can anybody provide me any help?

Dell India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
i brought a new dell inspiron laptop . after receiving the bill i was asked to register for dell diwali offer that includes 2 years of extended warrenty and 3000 worth coupons. i registered and got a sms that within 7 days they would process and send me the payment link. i mailed dell customer care. they said that the registration is successful. but they haven't given me any payment link. when i mailed regarding the payment, there is no replay. moreover the customer care numbers provided by them are not working(either busy or not picking up the call).
I too was in a similar situation. However finally they have responded to my mails and given me the payment link.
