Hi, My name is Anjan Kr. kole. My complaint is about "Dell back to college offer" against RW promotion Pvt. Ltd tie-up will Dell. I have bought a dell laptop and as per offer I have to pay 1299/- for extra two years warranty and with this they provide Levis gift voucher of rs. 1500 and a sennheiser headphones of rs. 999/-. My laptop service tag no is H108102. I have received the Levis gift voucher and the upgraded warranty. But I don't have received the sennheiser headphones. It almost one month passed . I have called to the no[protected] several times, but always it on in busy status. This is very malicious result for this reputed organisation.     Respected patron, I purchased dell vostro 2420 laptop from Bangalore with service tag No 8XCMV1 on[protected]world computech). after one month laptop display showed a spot on top left side and it began spreading to bottom just like a crack. Within mdays display became useless. I complained to online support team as dell support here in Kochi refused service. Online people asked photos of laptop and told me that laptop display is not under warranty and i need to give 15000/- for replacing panel. Several times I contacted them by phone and mail without any use. According to warranty details from dell site following details i got Warranty details for your Vostro 2420Service Tag: JX8CMV1 Ship date:[protected] Country: India Service Provider Start date End date NBD (Next Business Day on-site) DELL[protected] POW (Parts Only Warranty) DELL[protected] Carry-In Service (3-Business Day)(8x5) DELL[protected] Parts Only Warranty (Carry-In Service) DELL[protected] As you can see laptop was shipped on 26-10-12 and dell sold to me on[protected] that's 19 months old one!!! 1.Damage must have happened during this period . 2.Dell and reseller "world computech" banglore cheated me giving 19 month old used laptop to me. 3.Dell support people not even bothered to get my laptop physically checked to validate. 4.Refusing warranty conditions and my customer rights.       Hi, I would like to complaint regarding my Dell Laptop model Inspiron 5521. Its been only a year to purchased the Laptop & just after 15 days its battery backup has fallen dramatically. When I reported the problem to customer care they told me that this is 4 cell battery & each cell give backup of 15 mins. I feel cheated as I have taken 3 year extended warranty & laptop is not working for an hour on battery. Moreover, I am facing problems like Hang, Auto switch off, Keypad not working, touch pad hangs & other errors related to hardware or software. But no support has been provided by the Dell. I want my Laptop battery to be replaced & all other hardware & software problems to be resolved.

      Hi, I have reported my complaint (service request No | [protected]) couple of days back & dell has replaced my Batter & Motherboard. They provided me re-installing CD & guided me to reinstall the windows. Now when I am trying to install the windows the laptop doesn't boot from CD - Drive & even when I try to open the CD normally it shows empty. I guess their is some problem with my laptop or motherboard they have replaced is old model & I called Dell helpline & they refuse to help me due to some name issue & told me it doesn't cover in warranty Kindly help me out as my pc is affected by virus & I can't do my work.         I had purchased dell lap top Dell – 3521(SER/T/N-49RSQX1) from Arrow informatics pvt.ltd (13-14). R-18 Rita block Shakarpur opp. Metro plier no -48 Delhi-110092 (invoice no RI/1062/AIPL/13-14) My system is under warranty and many time we are facing the problem like – battery backup low, sound not clear, hanging problem. Same problem I share to customer care executive and executive ask me detail of product. I m shocking when he says this is Thailand product and not covered in warranty in India. Regarding this I talk to distributor he refused to replace the product. So please take a necessary action and do the needful.             I have purchased Dell laptop on 1.9.2011 from Dubai ( Copy of the invoice and and delivery chellan forwarded ). Then i extended the warranty for another 2 years with payment of Rs. 8000 though online with your service representative email [protected]@DELL.com. i.e vide Quote NO25856246 and customer NO.[protected]. They promised to update the date based on my invoice copy date. Accordingly i have forwarded bill copy to your representative. Few months back i contacted your representative for checking the system for repair, but no one has attended to solve the same. Last week i submited the same before cochin office for repair. But they denied to repair stating that warranty has expired on 24.7.2014. Now i understand that your representative has not updated the same. As a customer, i need to get the warranty up to 1.9.2014 ie 3 year from the date of purchase instead of shipment date. Now my laptop is not working properly. Under the above circumstances i request you to kindly arrange to repair my lap top by extending the warranty up to 1.9.2014. ie based on purchase date. Please note that i have made payment of Rs. 8000 based on the promise from your representaive to extend the warranty up to 1.9.2014. During this 3 year this is the 1st service call.               I had placed an order for Dell Studio 1558 laptop battery through Dell partner CompuIndia.in. I placed order on 11th Aug 2014 was informed through an SMS that it would be delivered by 13th Aug 2014. However, the ecom express courier service of CompuIndia delivered the courier on 20th Aug and that too the package was open.

              When I tried calling the[protected] which just rings and no picks the phone. I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with Dell company who choose such a partner to sell goods in India. I want the my battery to be replaced as I am not sure if it was a used battery, duplicate or refurbished battery that is delivered to me. The plastic package is torn by someone who has removed the battery to replace it. Please find attached the picture of the battery plastic package

                Dear Madam/Sir, I recently purchased a Dell Laptop directly from the company. The company have done the delivery through compuindia. The details are as mentioned; 1. Order Number:[protected] 2. Order date: Jul 10, 2014 3. Invoice No:[protected] During the quotation before the purchase they had offered me a special package worth Rs. 7, 500. The offer is as mentioned below;· Levis shopping voucher worth Rs. 1500· SENNHEISER Ear Phones worth Rs. 999· 2 years additional warranty worth Rs. 4999· Offer Valid only on select Inspiron laptops till August 3rd 2014· To avail the offer register on http://www.dellcollegeoffers.co.in, pay Rs. 1299 as expediency charges· To know more details click on http://www.compuindia.com/back-to-college As offered I tried to register in their directed site for availing the offer, but it says my Service Tag is not mentioned on their list.(Please find the picture attached) When I tried to point out the problem on the e-mail address mentioned no reply came back. I tried to complaint the same with support staff and even sent my complaint mail to the address directed by their staff. After sometime the staff's who have made the purchase have started avoiding the or fail to call back. I have been running after this issue for more than 1 month and of all the 10-20 mails, 50 call enqiries made not even 1 call has come back from their end; at least explaining the situation. I feel they have cheated me the consumer. I implore the consumer to look into this serious breach of consumer trust and take strong action against these culprits to ensure that they never think of cheating the consumers and at least have the courtesy to give timely response to their customers which is expected from them.                   I purchased an Inspiron laptop for my parents and the response from Dell customer care has been nothing less than pathetic!

                  They are not even able to login to something as simple as Skype and have tried reaching cusomter care several times with no response from Dell at all!

                  I paid a premium and purchased this laptop from the Dell website ONLY because they claimed "good after sales service", but the experience I've had has proven to be otherwise!

                    My Laptop is in warranty. I have asked for the Golden part(LCD+MOTHERBOARD).On 1st Aug 2014 but till yet they haven't told me the status of the part availability. On the telephone they are not replying properly. Even after having the service tag number(D2D1WS1) They escalate my call to various departments. The Service Center of Dell in whole gujarat is only in Ahmedabad they also don't deal properly with the customer. My laptop warranty is till Aug 2015.

                      I have purchased a dell led monitor model E1914H on Feb-2014 from a local dealer.In the last week the display showed horizontal black lines which is increasing in thickness day by day.When I informed the local dealer he gave me the dell toll free number to make a complaint and as it is under warranty a new monitor will be sent directly to me.When I contacted dell toll free number I was told that my monitor will be replaced only with a re-furbished monitor and not new one even though it is under warranty.When I demanded for a new monitor they insisted me to provide me the order number which is mentioned in the carton box.When I informed them they told me to contact their dealer who will replace the monitor with new monitor and the transaction for warranty will be accounted in the form of credit note with the dealer.When I contacted the dealer he is insisting on email confirmation from dell about replacement procedure.But I was told by the call attender that no mails will be sent from them.So on[protected] when I started recording the conversation which I can send to the dealer they hanged up the phone saying that they will contact me on[protected].But so far till now i.e.,[protected] I have received no calls from them.My complaint reference number is[protected] and my order no. is[protected].Please let me know the present status of my complaint?.How come a new product which has failed during the warranty period due to manufacturing defect can be replaced with a re-furbished monitor.Can u give 2 years replacement warranty for the re-furbished monitor from the date of receipt of the same?.Even this mail I am sending from friends system.My monitor display is getting worser day by day and I cannot work in my computer.Can dell compensate this loss and mental agony?

                        It is difficult to spell the name of the offender. Could be Neel or Neil. But he keeps on changingnames and mobile numbers to his advantage. At some point of time he told me his name is Bijay. So I may not have clarity on his name. I am having a DELL make laptop Latitude D620. This laptop was originally purchased by my ex employer M/s TIL Limited having address at 1, Taratola Road, Kolkata. Large number of laptops were purchased by TIL Limited, mine being one of them. When I left the company, the laptop with service tag number 4JNCN1S was given to me at book value. In 2009, the laptop developed problem of overheating. I contacted Mr. Pritam, the person from my ex-employer who was instrumental for making the bulk purchase deal with DELL. He referred Mr. Neel or Neil Chakraborti to resolve the issue of overheating. At that time Mr. Chakraborti was attending all AMC issues at TIL Limited. Mr. Chakraborti came to my house at Lake Gardens and replaced the fan at a price. After sometime the laptop had a problem of not getting full screen picture. I reported this problem to him. He suggested that the mother board is defective and needs replacement. He changed the mother board on chargeable basis. I never doubted his integrity till then, although I was aware that Mr. Chakraborti is no longer maintaining TIL machines. Now my laptop is having a problem of 50% blackening of display screen. I am currently posted at Mumbai, Since I planned to go to Kolkata in end July 14, I contacted him with a request to replace the display unit at Kolkata. He took Rs 5400.00, out of which Rs 2400.00 was transferred by cash to the SBI bank account No [protected] of his wife Mrs. Sikha Rai Chakraborti based on his request and he was already having Rs 3000.00, which he took from me on loan 2 years before. All these conversation and correspondence took place over his mobile number [protected]. Now of course this mobile says that ‘the number does not exist. This means he is no more be contacted by the affected persons. He was aware that I come to Kolkata for a brief stay. When I contacted him after reaching Kolkata, he constantly evaded by switching –off his mobile or by saying that he is on his way but eventually did not turn up. I had sent a number of messages to his mobile and Whats App. Nothing worked. Eventually I had to come back to Mumbai without getting my laptop rectified. Probably he was waiting for my departure from Kolkata.. Thus it is clear that he has the typical quality of getting friendly with people and uses it with the sole motive of cheating him and making some money out of this poor customer. So I am making a request to deweed such offenders from DELL list as it is spoiling your reputation as well as relation between DELL and customers. This is the only way to punish such offenders. Mr. Chakraborti seems to be in the habit of continuously changing his mobile number and he has lot of stories around it. He loses his mobile too often to avoid sensitive calls. Last 2 months I was in touch with his mobile number [protected] but today it says that the number does not exist. His earlier number was [protected]. People with malafide intention does this, because, whosoever is the service provider today, advanced technology allows portability of the same number once all past payments are cleared. Who knows that in order to avoid payments he is hoodwinking service providers also for which he changes his number time and again. In all, this man is full of suspect and so once again I would request you to disconnect Mr. Chakraborti in all possible manners and teach him a lesson. Hope to have given you enough clues for investigating the case and getting hold of this person moving around in various disguise fraudulently to misguide and agonise DELL customers.

                          I bought new dell laptop 3542 15-4th/4/1TB/2GB/W8 from shop ''Sky Solutions'' Laxmi Nagar on 10th Aug 14.Service tag no.-HH2L512. The window was activated when I bought but within four days the windows has been deactivated. Please resolve my problem as soon as possible.

                            Hi, I'm Anil and working with Infosys Technologies, Trivandrum. I have a Dell Studio 1555 which is out of warranty(Service tag HCMH3BS EXPRESS SERVICE CODE [protected]). It showed a problem- "getting off frequently while working as power code plugged in"(but was working fine with charged battery). I had given my laptop for service at the below Dell authorized service centre one month back. "Dell Partner for Servers & Spares, M/s WiFi Solutions F 14 1st Floor, Technomall, Technopark, Trivandrum, Kerala. Contact: [protected]" After so many phone calls I got communicated that the laptop has been sent to Kochi to Dell service store. After 2-3 weeks, when I checked I got the response like, the motherboard needs to replaced and it costs around Rs.13000/-. I was not interested in spending that much amount and agreed to return the laptop to me without any repair. When I went to collect the laptop, I asked him if any expenditure has occurred to him and he said no and I took my laptop back. But after reaching home, when I checked, I could see that the system is not at all booting up.The blank screen is showing always and sometimes it is blinking I reported this to the service centre person, but no action has been taken yet. He admitted that the laptop was in working condition(with charged battery) when it was received by him, but not booting up now. It was not at all communicated to me once I took the laptop back. Me and my friends are long time DELL customers and I expect a decent solution for this. I need to get my laptop at least in the condition that I gave to service. PS: I don't have a bill/service voucher with me as I have not given the laptop direct to the person. The logs of all calls made with him are the only proof available with me.                               Main Balance of Rs.43 is wrongly deducted towards data. Balance is been deducted on August 14th Night, but I still have balance while I checked on 15th August Noon.                                 HI I cant proceed for the ownership transfer to get repaired of my dell laptop express no [protected] purchased from in india in October 2013 to Papua new guinea (current location of laptop), as my laptop is giving me problems, i got in bajaj loan, which i have a certification of fully paid up of the said loan amount, i tired but the message is my express number doesn't match with dell company.

Name: Shilpi Bhargava, Lodged complaint on 28th july, its been 14 aug now, they have not yet replaced the lcd yet, and everytime giving me new stories about parts, Point of contact is this person : [protected]@dell.com. Story: I want a justification on following points.:1. When i was promised on 12th aug, that the lcd is going to be replaced by touch screen, where is that touch screen gone. simply means you are fooling me. 2. Why had you told me at first place that on 6th service is going to be completed, then you told me 11th, i dint uttered a word but now its enough.3, i dont understand even if you have to provide me new system, why is has to be at a week's length, when you have to sale it just arrives in 2-3 days. 4. If you know it is taking so long, why dont you give me a substitute laptop, so that at least i can work, i am a student, and i have to be answerable to professors, and many other people. I am sorry to say but dell's image of best service is completely shattered and m never ever going to recommend to anybody to buy a dell product, its more than enough.

Tag no 6CT5QY1 when switched on laptop message displayed at screen "Battery damage, require replacement" Battery is under warranty. Many a times complaints was tried to register at Dell customer care no [protected]/[protected]/[protected] but misguided.Part is under warranty but no cognizance is shown by M/s Dell.                                       I requested for few part for my Alienware m14x laptop for which i was asked to pay 5000/- upfront. After making this payment on 25th June 2014, I waited for a week but on not getting update mailed Dell Support again and got to know they got the money but didn't ignored the request. After one more week i got a call that the parts i requested will not solve my problem and i need to pay 11, 000/- more to which I requested refund. After waiting one more week, I requested update on refund and was told that I may not have been informed but it takes 30 days to process such requests. On looking at the case history, I was sent a mail on 7th July 2014 that it'll be settled within 20 days. I have sent 4 mails since then and didn't get reply to even of them. I called them also on 27th July, 28th July, 4th Aug and today on 14th Aug 2014 and every time i'm told that it'll be settled quickly. Even under normal circumstances it should have been settled within 30 days, but despite a written promise of 20 days I'm still waiting for the refund after 50 days with no clue where its stuck. People involved: 1. Snehal Ajani 2. Shreyas Master 3. Deepak Gupta 4. Rest all didn't share their names... Worst service experience.

                                        My newely bought(21/07/2014) Dell inspiron 15 3537 core i3 laptop is not working properly with windows 8.1pro.System performence is very slow & display drivers for amd allways crashing.laptop not shutting down.i am force closing the laptop each time.
