    I am an electronics engineer and working as a Software Developer. I have purchased the Dell Inspiron laptop 15z-5523 on 24 March 2013 online through compuindia.com (Dell Express Ship Affiliate Store) and I got it on 27 march 2013. I have faced the problem in May 2013. Its exhaust fan was doing noise as well as laptop was overheating then shut down. I contacted to support team. They asked me some questions and told me the reason about this issue is that summer is going on that's why atmosphere temperature is much that's why you are facing the heating issue. About exhaust fan noise its due to small dust particle. Then they told me to do diagnosis and they found an error. So they told me they are going to change the exhaust fan and thermistor. After replacing you run it and if you face any problem again we will think about to change the motherboard. Then they place an order for hardware to replace and next day their one engineer come to my home and replaced the parts. (But I didn't get any call from them does my issue is resolved or not) Again in Oct 2013 Month I am facing the same issue of overheating and some other issue. So I contacted them again and told them my laptop is heating again. As well as I getting 2 error & SD Card Slot is not working (Which I never tested after buying). They ask me does my charger also heating I said yes. About 2 error they done some changes and its fixed. Then they place an order for replacing the parts and again the another engineer come to my home and replaced the thermistor, Charger. (This time also I didn't get any call from them does my issue is resolved or not) Again I get the same 2 error in next 2-3 months. In February 2014 heating issue and then shut down is started as well as charger is heating. But I am very busy in some Software Projects and some other developers is working under me from Remote Location. So I don't have time to call to support team and told the same issue as well as summer is started. So I ignored the issue that time. But again from May 2014 Month my laptop is shutting down and showing blue screen with Different Error. This is happening many times. So I thought that its due to virus (But I never connect any external USB of anyone to my laptop as well as I have antivirus and I never download anything without trusting on that site.) But again I don't have time to format the LAPTOP as some VERY URGENT Software Projects are going on as well as some more developer is working under me. So again I ignored. Then in July 2014 month I get the time to Format Laptop and I formatted. After formatting I thought that my all issue will resolve But its not. Then i checked all about that error on internet and they suggest that do the format and if still that error is not gone then may be your RAM has an issue, replace it. The 2 error which i am getting before some one told that its due to HDD, replace it. Meantime in June 2-3 times i saw that battery indicator LED is blinking but i thought that it may have an issue in LED and not noticed much more. But now when i checked its blinking LED issue on internet some one told that battery is dead. Replace it. So I contacted them and told all this things and they told me warranty is over and I have not contacted in warranty period. But I said that this issue was happening in warranty period and you not replaced the correct part and now so many other part is failing. They saying same things warranty is over. They answered to my some question and I am not agree with them So I recheck all the things what ever they answered. - Battery warranty is 1 year. But on there site they are saying that it will work minimum 18 months and maximum 24 Months. And my battery is dead in 13 months. - They claiming that they call me after parts are replaced to check my issue is resolved or not. But I never get any call back after parts are replaced. - In Laptop specification manual they said that Laptop battery will work 6 hours. But its not worked more than 3.5 hours for me until now (I am not using Graphics card or not playing any audio or not playing any video. Just 2-3 word document is opened) - They replaced the same part twice and still I face the issue of heating third time (Its a common sense if you replace any hardware part and its still not resolving the issue and face the same problem after 3 months means you have to change some thing different. But they don't) - If the error which they fixed before if they check it clearly why its happen and replace HDD that time then its not giving me issue at now. - If I contact them earlier they will replace the part but now i have to pay for all this part. But i said how many times should contact them and how many time they will replace my part. In warranty period they replace same part twice but its not resolved the issue and if call them in warranty period third time they will replace it freely but if its fail again when warranty is over i have to pay. So no Quality parts they replaced. If I pay for 70, 000 for a good quality product and good brand I should get good product. But now most of the hardware parts are failed (and may be it will keep going) Then I said them are you giving any guarantee if I replace the parts from you will resolve my issue. Then they said do it from local then. So they don't care about this. They got 70000 for product, replace the part and done. Now if I am facing any problem I have to pay the amount to them and if not do it from them I have to do it from Local (this is what they saying). If I am paying 70000 means i think that I will get good branded product which will help to grow my business. But I got faulty product then why should i pay the amount to them. Instead of growing business I loose some money due to delay of projects, penalty. I told them that i want the replacement of this complete Laptop as most of the parts are not replaced correctly, not quality parts and now other parts are failing and they are saying NO.         i have bought dell venue 7 tablet in march, 2014 but its touch screen got shattered in its warranty period given by this company but from last 2months i have been contacting their customer care & service center but they were saying parts not available for this product and now their service center person says that they can't repair it & u should buy another one.so pls help what can i do.

          Dear Nibedita, Service Request Number 89739039 Dell Vostro 14 3000 Series Express service code[protected] Service Tag Serial No - 53K9412 Photo shows - on the right side of the screen one small bright pixel frozen As a customer of Dell it is very disappointing that the issue of the frozen pixel has not been addressed by the service center at Dell. We have been told that due to a policy that states that LCD repair/replacement will only take place if 5 or more frozen pixels appear on the screen. According to all records the said laptop is under warranty period and we have also bought the extented service pack. Therefore, whether there is one or five frozen pixels we as customers need to feel satisfied with your product - which is not the case at the moment . What if the one pixel increases to 10 or more after the warranty period expires ?Then we would need to pay for its repair right ? Therefore in light of this being an issue with the computer within only the first week of its purchase we urge Dell Service Center to send a technician to examine the laptop on an urgent basis. Kindly treat this matter as URGENT. Incase our request is still rejected we will have to refrain ourselves from purchasing any more laptops from Dell in the future.

              is it safe to buy? are they reliable?
              Yes, they are reliable, but with too much delay. I finally received delivery of laptop after 15-20 days, after too many follow ups. I would advise to buy from shop.

                Dear Sir, I have bought Dell Laptop Vostro 2520. The shipping date was 19.09.2013 with one year warranty. Some days back suddenly one of the speakers stopped working. I talked to the Dell support team and they denied to replace the speaker. I tried calling them many times and tried to solve it personally but no avail. Now I am really frustrated and disappointed. I want my money back and compensation for my time wastage. Please look into the matter as soon as possible and take necessary action. This will help people suffering from the denied rights to their products and hard earned money. Thank you in advance sir.

                    Hello I just purchased a Dell laptop and there was an offer that if i pay them Rs. 1299 i would get a Levis shopping voucher as sms to my phone within 3 days and a head set couriered to me within 10 days of bank DD clearance. Also they claimed to give 2 year additional warranty. So i sent the documents to their address: RW Promotions Pvt Ltd No : 24, 1st "A" Main, 7th Cross(Opp. to TVS Showroom), Vignan Nagar, Bangalore - 560075 Ph:[protected] On July 28 i got the message from them saying that the DD has been cleared and they will send the Levis voucher code as SMS to my phone within 3days. But still now I have not got it. I contacted them on this issue and they never replied.

                    hi...same is the case with me.I got levis voucher and extended warranty but do not get senheiser head phone till now. its been 2 month now. very disappointed.i am trying on their no but not getting any reply

                        I bought dell Inspiron 15 3521 Laptop (3rd Gen Ci3/ 4GB/ 500GB/ Win8) laptop online from Flipkart.com website in 29 Dec 2013.                             One small part of my laptop which is attached to motherboard has been broken due to which headphone jack is not working.My laptop speakers are not working properly, sometimes, they work well and sometimes, they stop working anytime while I work, In this case and many times I have to restart my laptop to make them work.

                            I want it to get repair and work well well as soon as possible.

                                  I purchased the Dell Inspirion laptop. There was this Back to College Offer (offer worth Rs 7K). How it works is, the customer need to submit a cheque for Rs 1299/- to a third party (authorized by Dell) and they will take care of deliverying the free items and processing the additional 2 years warranty. I submitted my cheque within 10 days and it got debited from my account 3 weeks ago. Dell asks people to contact third party ( RW Promotions Pvt Ltd) for status of the offer. They have one land line number which will not get connected any time you try. Finally after trying many times, I was able to talk to one person. He told me, they are dealing with a public sector bank and even though my cheque was submitted and the amount is debited they did not get the statement from the Bank which tells which all cheques were realized. Even after 3 weeks they are not able to track whether my cheque was realized or not. I sent them the snapshot of my bank statement which shows the amount is debited from my account. They assured they will update soon, but has not given an update even after 4 days. There is no way to call them as their line is busy through out the day. This is nothing but pure cheating. You can not complain to Dell also as they say you need to contact RW Promotions Pvt Ltd

                                  I am facing the same problem, I have dropped 5 mails to them but not a single reply i sent them DD.
                                  They don't reply to mails. Their number is always busy. Dell is also not listening on this matter.
                                  rw promotions is only cheating us.

                                  Pathetic experience so far.
                                  I wrote to mail to their helpdesk many times and finally they responded saying they have validated the documents and will send the Levis voucher code by sms within 4-5 working days. The Senheiser headphone will been couriered within 10 working days. The warranty will be emailed to you within 15 days. Every 5 days they send the same message again and again and nothing happend so far.

                                  Its been more than one month I am waiting for my Senheiser headphone and additional 2 year warranty e-mail. However I have sent them the courier on 02/08/2014 and it was received by them on 05/08/2014 apart from this the cheque was cleared on 18/08/2014 and after this I only have my Levis voucher e-mail only. I tried to contact them thousand times but all is vain. I can only able to communicate them by e-mails. Pathetic service and got worst then ever experience from the so called brand "DELL"... Bakwasssssss...

                                  The same case is with me as well. It has been over a month and I have dropped a couple of mails(which off course were not replied), I have not received any warranty documents. Did anyone manage to get any further with respect to these complaints?

                                  My issue is resolved and now I got all 3 products under Dell Back to college offer. But to avail these offer product I had to do lots of e-mails and follow ups. I am totally unsatisfied with this kind of response from this highly reputed brand.

                                  But thanks to you sir. I think they respond quickly when I register my complaint under Consumer Complaint.

                                  Its only 2 months since i bought dell laptop and within one hour battery exhausts. its express service code is [protected].

                                  I have bought a dell tablet and it stop working.when I talk to him on mobile, he did not gave me a correct solution to me and behave rudely.

                                  mouse touchpad complaint

                                  Cant playing video (again restarted from another video), typing errors in key pad, very slow system, starting trouble, mouse touching complaint etc...

                                    I bought a Dell Vostro 2520, Service Tag- 1JM3MV1 20 months ago. It had a warranty of 12 months. In that period I had some hardware problems, which were soughed out by the professionals, Few days after the warranty ended, my computer started troubling me. Since I was quite busy that time, I wasn't able to extend the warranty or to file any complaint regarding the same. I had to discard the use of my laptop. As of now, I'm willing to extend the warranty.Reagrding which I had sent many emails, and called the customer support many a times. Dell's Customer Service has listened to me. I didn't get even a single reply of any of the mail. On the customer helpline the Sales Department never responds to any of the calls. The only reason I chose Dell was it very friendly Customer Support. But as of what I've seen, all these are myth and Crap Because of this laptop trouble, I've lost many of my important files. Causing me lot of financial loss. If this is the reality of the Dell service, then I'm going to advice the other customers never to go with Dell Products.                                       My express service code is [protected]. I have been contacting dell customer support for a month to extend my warranty which is due to expire in august, but the only reply i get is that a qoutation has been generated . But that qoutation never reaches me. I have double checked my email id with them but still have not received a reply.
                                      My question is if my warranty expires without me extending it, then u would charge me extra amount saying that i have applied late for warranty extension. So who's fault is it mine or yours. Does it take one month to extend warranty for your company.
                                      I am a doctor by profession and cannot keep waisting my time on such petty issues.

                                        Laptop ser number[protected] and service tag number 21XF6Q1 is on my son, s name Sukhvinder Bhardwaj. The laptop is within extended warranty period. There is a problem in Laptop screen which has developed due to fair wear and tear. The screen needs immediate replacement. Kindly arrange to send dell engineer to do the needful.
