I have purchased a dell venue 8 tablet from flipkart on 22nd april. I got an offer from dell of getting free bie 3g wi-fi dongle. Also i have claimed for the product as per the procdure. But i haven't received it though 2 months has passed.

    i bought a dell laptop a year ago...i had a motherboard replacement under warranty a few months ago...after the motherboard replacement i got some vertical line on my led...when i contacted the dell support i was told that the problem would go away in some days...but since 15 days im again getting the same lines...when i tried contacting dell they gave lame excuses that the complaint about the led wasnt registered in the warranty period..their service is really pathetic

      I have purchased the dell battery for my laptop Inspiron N5010 model from http://www.compuindia.com just before 3 days but after doing full charge also back up is only sustaining only 50 - 60 minutes not beyond that but usually it used to give 2-3 hours for 6 cell battery. First time i saw a new battery which is giving only 1hour or less then that on initial days. Is this the quality of Dell products or defect in battery please respond...

      Hi Armaan, Regret for any inconvenience caused. I would recommend you to update the BIOS from Dell support website to resolve this issue. Please find the link below for the same. Link:- http://dell.to/1gkkpez 1) Enter the Service Tag and press submit button. ( You can find the service tag at the bottom of the laptop on white sticker, it’s a seven digit alphanumeric code which ends with BS or number 1.) 2) Click on Drivers and Downloads. 3) Choose the Operating system. 4) Click BIOS driver and download it. **Make sure that adapter is connected while updating the BIOS. Also check the battery health meter. Check for the 'Battery Health Meter' among the different options on the left side of window. Go to 'Battery Health' tab to check the battery health and Share the results through this blog. We would recommend you do not post your private information on a public forum.         i have been continiously chasing yu guys evry nw n thn bt still left with no permanent solution... after I got the lap top only in 3 mothns approx. I found sumthings wrong wd my battery i changed it!!
        Every time i call cc thy gv me solution of formating... everytime I copy my data (most worst thing to do, copying lots of data everytym) then get da format thing done but again after few days facing the same problem ... thy even said me dat its a fault of windows 8 (microsoft) bt is dat yur coustomers fault... did'nt expected this bad service from dell...

            Please refer service request no[protected]. My lapto bostro 2420 got shut down suddenly 3-4 time last month and there is erratic sound from laptop when adaptor is connected. Tech support had taken control of my laptop twice and every time different person comes up and start asking same questions, which irritate the customer. I am really fed up of your response. I have requested to arrange service engineer which they are reluctant to do so. There is onsite warranty but dell donot want to honour it.               Hi, This is Prasad, i bought dell studio 1555 laptop in 2009. I am facing mother board issue for this model. When i call dell customer care, they are telling parts are not available for this product and STOPPED SUPPORTING support. They can't help with this issue. A manufacturer should provide support for the products which they are selling. And that to dell Brand company. Really i don't understand why they stopped supporting. If they can't provide support, why do they need to sell? It's not even 5 yrs they stopped providing support. I don't have any option except recycling the laptop. I don't prefer to buy dell laptops again and i will suggest the same to my friends.

              May i know why Dell is selling products, if they cannot provide the support. I tried to get it repaired, but they are telling motherboard can't be repaired. Hope dell also having expert technicians, why don't you take for repair and get it done. I bought it for 48K, and now i need to recycle it because of part unavailable.

              I suggest please maintain terms & conditions before selling product says, Dell supports this product till this date. So that people will think before buying.

              If you are not supporting product, you should have any further option like replacement. When the manufacturer is not providing parts, how come we will get in local area.

                I bought dell vostro in july 2011, in july 2012 i have paid 10000rs for two years extended warrany, now i have some problems in my laptop and the executive say its because of the wear and tear, we cant replace .thank you so much dell, i was very happy with the service and that's why convinced many of my friends and relatives to go for dell in laptops, i have 2 dell laptops, but from today i my perception has changed, i paid 10k only to hear this. I will make sure that my surroundings and also who are active on social networking sites will not go for dell for its worst service and its fake extended warranties.                   DELL LAPTOP W560367 IN8 INS 15 [3537] S/N-f528102 this is my laptop model information.I purchased the laptop on 15/05/2014 When i shut down my laptop, it automatically restart again. On 29/05/2014 i made contact with dell service centre.They told me to come to service centre. I told them my problem.They told that it is a Operating system problem.They changed OS from Windows 7Home Premium to Windows 7 Professional after 3-4 hours.but the Problem is still persists. Then they told that it cannot be solved now at a moment.they told tomorrow dell engineers will come and make will try to solve your problem. they came configured . But the shutdown problem still persists. What should i do now??

                    dear sir, i had availed the services of your above said authorised service center and they had damaged my laptop and now are even refusing to entertain my complaint. i had mailed them and am attaching the mail herewith. i am contacting you as i was under impression that dell india provides best services in india. kindly look into the matter. ( dear sir, you are an authorized service center of dell India and i had availed your services and given you my laptop regarding partial display problem as the laptop was working in safe mode.you had assured me that i shall be given excellent services at par with the high standards of dell India. at the time when i had given you my laptop your engineer who had approached me CHECKED THE LAPTOP AND SATISFIED himself THAT THE LAPTOP IS IN WORKING CONDITION AND ONLY THE DISPLAY IS PARTIALLY DISRUPTED.he had also taken back up of my data, however you had few days later intimated me and approached me with the laptop that the system has failed and the laptop is completely dead. your engineer suryamani had then acknowledged that the laptop has been damaged due to your fault at your service center DUE TO YOUR FAULT and had assured me that the same shall be repaired in working condition after correcting the fault which had occurred due to your fault. i have since then contacted you several times however you have even failed to give proper response. your conduct is shocking as dell india has a very high standard and reputation of service and repair. i had also got the laptop checked in the dell center gurgaon in presence of your engineer and it was found that due to your mistake the motherboard of the LAPTOP HAS BEEN DAMAGED. on your behalf had acknowledged the damaged and your liability and had given me an written acknowledgment that you shall repair the same. i also have a cctv footage of your engineer. you are hereby requested to repair my laptop at your own expense. thanking you RUPESH VERMA [protected] I AM ALSO SENDING A CC OF THIS MAIL TO DELL INDIA) thank you

                        Kindly elaborate the issue that you are facing with the adapter. Please share the LED status when adapter is connected with the system.
                        The average battery backup of the 6 cell battery is 1 and half to two hours and it depends on the consumption. Battery is a consumable device and battery backup goes down over a period of time.
                        You can update the BIOS for the same. Please find the link below.

                          My dell showing permanent battery failure after 13 months of purchase. While the battery showing 100% charged system says it dose not recognize the battery & will not charge. How is it possible for battery permanent failure in just 13months. Is dell using cheap low quality battery.

                            Sir, My 2 year old laptop was not turning ON, was just beeping, so I went for a mother board replacement in "EXCELLENT COMPUTERS No 21, Near Joy Alukas, Kamaraj Salai, Venkata Nagar, Pondicherry - 605011" a DELL dealer in Pondicherry since there was no service centre near by, also they were manipulating as the service centre of Dell in Pondicherry.They replaced my motherboard charging Rs 10, 000 from me, but does'nt provide any warranty, where as all other shops and the company itself is providing 3 months warranty. Now My laptop is again showing motherboard complaint within 2 months of this replacement. I claim to get warranty.

                              I regret to inform you that I had a problem in my LCD screen of my Dell Studio Laptop. I had been to the showroom based at No. 52B, Kodambakkam High road, Chennai for services and replacement of LCD screen.I was informed by the staff of this showroom that Dell does not have service centers and referred me to Devaraj Computers, GEEGEE Complex, Mount road stating that they are the official servicing center for Dell in Chennai and they have charged me Rs4, 000 to replace my Laptop screen. Later I had to find out myself from the web that Dell had service centers all around Chennai. This has deprived me from availing the services of Dell service center due to the indifferent attitude of the staff who has referred me for the reasons best known to them. I request you to initiate suitable action which has amounted to deficiency of service and the integrity of staff at poor light.

This time windows is demanding latest update vga driver for the laptop. I have already download it.                                 2) Click on Drivers and Downloads.
                                3) Choose the Operating system.
                                4) Click on respective option and download the respective drivers
                                & restart the computer and check the functionality.

                                Please ensure to un-install the CHIPSET & VIDEO driver before reinstalling from the link again, and install the Video Intel® HD Graphics from video option.
                                Do revert with the results post troubleshooting, I shall be glad to assist you.

                                  Brief of Incident: - On 15th April, 2014- first timereceive an exception message on system -“Your Hard Drive is facing problem, Contact Technical Support team”. - On 25th April, 2014- Evening 10:36 PMIST call technical support team but no one respond the call. - On 26th April, 2014- Morning 10:15 AMIST, call on all possible support numbers of Dell- India. No one was there torespond the call, at last one support person responded and inform this is notthe right department to log the problem, you need to call in between Mon toFriday for any problem. He take all necessary details from me about laptopand problem, but don’t logged the call. - I was out of town from 28th April to13th May. - Called to technical support team on 14thMay and describe about the problem, they issue reference no:[protected] .as I was not having laptop at that duration. So have to call on next businessday in between 9:00 AM to 6:00 AM IST. - Called to technical support team on 15thMay at 9:30 AM IST and technical troubleshoot identify that it is Hard Driveneed to replace. - Technical Support people : Laxmi > Anthony> Rajeev Chaukari > Shyam P > Rahul Dev . knows about this issueand deny to make replacement under warranty. Point of Conflict : - Please find attached details for my machinepurchase. - When my Hard Drive got problem under warrantyduration then It needs to be liability of company. - When you commit 24X7 Technical Support duringpurchase then why not offer that during real time problem. - When I called on 25 and 26th of Aprilabout problem them why not your support office issue me a Reference Ticketnumber and arrange a call back from Dell. - I have all evidence like my phone log andmachine(laptop) log which proves that Hard Drive got problem under warrantyduration and I also keep approaching to technical support but found noresponse.

                                  The 24*7 support is a premium paid support that user can opt at the point of purchasing the product. However your system status shows 9am - 6Pm (Monday - Friday) Phone support.
                                  The initial communication was made during off support hours on 25th April hence were advised to contact during service hours.
                                  The Contact to technical Support for issue resolution again was done on 15th May and hence were advised post troubleshooting about system hardware faults and would require to pay for the service for repair.
                                  I can see that You have contacted our technical support team for issue resolution, In case of any queries further feel free to revert on this thread, I shall be glad to assist you.

                                        My service tag is 8lw7cs1. alienware m14x. Purchased indian extended warranty. Already spent a fortune approximately 1lakh on it. An year ago my lcd screen had an issue with its alignment, dell got it replaced with no issue, no questions, but now i had a word with PRATEEK SABARWAAL about my motherboard repair as a technician accidentally broke my motherboard, but Prateek refused to get it repaired and when i told him about LCD issue he bluntaly refused. After 2 months i called dell, they told me just because had a bad word with Prateek so we are not providing you service as it was already refused by Prateek. My point is ..is Dell is run by only this guy, if he is being personal with me, what options i have left with...i gave so much money for extended warranty but in return i am getting nothing...
