    I purchased dell laptop, XPS12 model (ULTRA BOOK) on 21/03/2013 from dell with 3 years Accidental Damage Protection warranty.
    After purchase of 3 months (in Jun 2013), I started facing problems in laptop.
    Problem was:
    (1) System hangs some times when making shutdown or restart. It cannot be rebooted or shutdown or cannot do any work until the battery of the laptop fully discharged. If the laptop was fully charged and the problem occurs, then it takes 10-12 hours waiting period to work again on the laptop.
    (2) Touch pad is not working properly.
    (3) Keyboard some time does not work.
    I reported the problems to dell team, they provided several telephonic solutions and deputed engineers two times to solve the problem but they were unable to solve the problems in the system. They had passed 7 months and problem is still coming. They are also offering me Inspiron machine as a replacement which is having very less functionalities, features and configurations. They are not giving me the same laptop (XPS 12) for replacement

      My name is Ramdevi I have booked bless 1 when i have booked i got good response even property got price increased up to 10L to 15L but the builder is saying small tail work is pending we need till time up to 2 to 3 months is this will be good sine from builder side

      I have ordered a Dell laptop with Dell india with Ms. Shalu Saikia and his boss Mr. Saurabh Wadahen. Please never oder these persons any dell laptops, as they make f alse promises that you will get your laptop in 3-4 days, I lost my money and time, so please beaware of these two persons.

      Hi asd,
      This delay might be due to the delay from the shippiment process, but not from the Shalu's side or Suarabh's side. Please be aware that noone promises untill and unless the approval came from the hierarchy... If they promise something, it should be done in that stipulated time, but as I've said, it should be a dealy from the shipment's end. Its an unfortunate situation that these people got that balme.

      Dear Sir / Madam,

      We have placed laptop order on 11 Nov but for some reason Dell has delayed laptop delivery.

      Laptop was ordered on 11 Nov we were given order number[protected] with delivery date as 26th Nov.. At time full payment was made.

      We have been sent an e-mail on 22 Nov saying earlier order has been cancelled and now new order no is[protected] with new delivery date as 23 Dec..

      Please help us in expediting and ensuring early delivery of this laptop. We are feeling cheated.

          HERE IS MY STORY, i have a dell xps 17 as a exchange system from 3 years almost and still under complete and hard ware warranty for another year, any way about 20 days ago the screen start go plank so i call the dell tec, the did the trouble shooting and the send the tec to my house change the mother board, any way after he did that, he refuse to wait to run a test to see if the pc working or not, so what happened after he left the pc not working, so i call dell, the send another tec withe all kind of part to change almost every thing, he did that, he also try to test the pc, here we are the moment of truth, the pc never work again, the tec call dell from my house and tell them about this problem, the keep send the wrong part, no body listen for what he sad, any way the guy from dell he sad we going to send y exchange system, i sad ok .i ask him how many days take dell to approve me ?he sad two to three days, ok so good so far, but what happened later is a night mair.took them 11 day to tell me which kind of exchange iam going to get////plus 15 days for 2 Technician TO CHANG THE PART so is almost 26 days and my lap still not fix or change, HERE THE BIG THING THE OFFER MY Inspiron 17R i can not take that so i sad no i want same as my old xps or something 16 or 15 inch the tech from dell he get maid and told me the will call y later, any way later in thy same day some one from dell he call me and told me the can not do exchange for me, the will refund my many for thy warranty, and i should send my old pc to depo, to be fix for one time, after that, the have no more warranty for me, he was so load and angry, i told him, NO I WILL NOT take money back, he sad we will call y back to tell y or final xxxxxx now i do not know what to do or what to say (PLEASE SOME ONE TELL ME WHAT I SHOULD DO)THANKS

            Hello Guys, Dont buy Dell Laptop. Laptop is cheap and won't work after 2-3 years. If you buy dell laptop then you have to go with following option: 1. You have to run to service center frequently for display, motherboard, heat problems 2. You should be insured or extend warranty for laptop on yearly basis by paying 5, 000 rupees/year 3. If laptop is not insured/warranty then after two years you have to pay to same dell company for 1/5th of amount you spent. i.e. 8k for 43k laptop 4. You use laptop for browsing purpose and not for regular use 5. You have lots of money and you want to buy a laptop and don't mind about the money Laptop: Inspiron Cost: 43, 000 My friend and i faced the same problem. IF YOU WANT TO TAKE RISK PLEASE GO ON. I bought a dell laptop three years back on Aug - 2010 for 43, 000 rupees. I was very happy to see that laptop look good and everything works fine as well. After a month laptop is starting to give trouble with heating issue. If i use laptop for 2 hours continously then i was not able to touch my keyboard itself. I started calling dell service center and they said i was not in a cool place so heat is generating like that. So they suggested me to use my latop in cool place. That suggestion sucks. So i bought a cooler pad. Even that didn't solve my problem. I searched in google and i see that lots of people facing the same problem. After 8 months during July-2010, Lot of Heat gets generated and i was not able to sit near and work. Sometimes Laptop switched off automatically. So i thought of going to service center. Service center guy said that problem is in the motherboard and if i dont replace that then my mother board will be dead after sometime. so he said that i have to replace the motherboard to solve this issue. Thank god my laptop covered in warranty. So they changed motherboard and processor and no money to pay. I was happy during that time. Even after that i faced the same problem like heat generating continuously. When i ask them about this they said warranty was not covered. I dont know that to do. So i decided to buy a new laptop for my regular work and kept this laptop for browsing purpose and reading ebooks. Again problem remains the same. My Laptop was switched off continuosly if i use for 4 hours. Last July it started giving major issue like suddenly laptop will show blue screen with some code. It happened for 4 to 5 times. One day when i switch on my laptop it started giving beep sound. So i was shocked and i took it to service center. They said they have to replace mothor board because mother board is dead. To replace mother board and for service i have to pay 12, 000 rupees. If i do service alone that will cost just 15, 00 but i will give problem after 3 months. Same guy told me to sell this laptop online because there are lots of people coming with the same problem. I asked him to exchange he said he can give 8, 000 rupees for my laptop. I shocked because i bought for 43, 000. it is not even 1/4th of money i spent. When i called Dell customer care they said this is normal. They said i should have warranty or else i have to pay this money. They dont accept this as a problem because warranty is over. They said they can give assurance for hardware only during warranty period. Please go to below link for my same problem: Type "dell inspiron n5010 prob" in google and see what comes first or type "dell inspiron n5010 heating problem" in google Guys if you buy dell laptop then it will be dead after 2 years then you have to sell to same dell company for 1/5th of the laptop cost.

            Dell laptop is bad. Don't buy it. If you buy then laptop will be dead after 2-3 years.

            My friend and i faced the same problem. IF YOU WANT TO TAKE RISK PLEASE GO ON.

            Three years back i bought a laptop. After a month laptop is starting to give trouble with heating issue. Dell service center people said that i have to
            buy cooler pad for this laptop. So i did it. Even that didn't solve my problem. I searched in google and i see that lots of people facing the same problem.

            After 8 months during July-2010, Lot of Heat gets generated and i was not able to sit and work. Sometimes Laptop switched off automatically.
            Dell service center guy said that problem is in the motherboard and So i replaced the motherboard to solve this issue. but my problem was not solved.

            I bought a new laptop for my regular work and i use this for browsing.

            On July-2013 my laptop was making lot of problem like it show blue screen with some code. Suddenly One day my laptop it started giving beep sound and it stopped permantely.

            Service center people said mother board is dead. So they asked me to pay 12, 000 rupees.

            Service center people told me to sell Since lot of people facing the problem on lenovo. They can take my laptop for 8k. I was shocked. Its not even 1/4 of my money.

            Also Dell Customer care people are not saying about the real heating issue instead they say mother issue. Actual problem is heat sink.
            Most of the people having heat issue. When there is no way to send heat out of laptop then these kind of problem will occur. May be sometime late display may go down.
            Real issue is in dell archietecture they were not given enough space to send heat outside.


            If you buy dell laptop then you have to sell to same laptop for 1/5th of the laptop cost.

            If you buy dell laptop then you will have to face
            1. Need to sped time on service center for display, motherboard, heat sink issue
            2. You need to buy extend warranty for your laptop for every year
            3. If laptop is not covered in warranty then you have to pay money for service or sell you laptop to dell for 1/5th of amount you spent.
            4. You can use laptop only for browsing purpose and not for regular use
            5. If you have lots of money and time then go for it

This is regarding the credit note provided by Dell & same is not acceptable by Mr. Sanjay (Dealer, Mob No -[protected]) .Mr. Sanjay suggested that the credit not can be accepted only by Dell Customer Care Cell / Shopkeeper I request you to look into matter as I am following with Dell / Shopkeeper/ DELL Customer Care since more than ONE MONTH & this all follow up has eaten lot of my time & money.                   i bought dell laptop 3months before from Dell show room(Bharathi Computers, Annanagar)...i have problem now dell inspiron 5521 model...i went to that show room after i had problem in my lap...they tld go dell service center or call toll free no...they didnt responsible word for our laptop..in showroom front saw sales and service we ll provide anything but i u people had any problem they behave like baby sitter mother they donno any thing...i lost 55k laptop ...they are cheated.. its not a Dell show room its look like a wash room n bathroom very worst surrounding..they also behave like ayya... u people pls buy proper show room...dell brand is nice...but dont buy Bharathi computers...

                    sir, first of all thanks a lot for taking some response on my complain at least after around 3 months time.the DEALER OF DELL DELL about which i lodged complain is doing this since a long time.at the time of purchase he taken money at first and latter declined that the said laptop(INSPIRON 14 R)is not available and you have to take OLDER VERSION(INSPIRON 1464) because money will not be returned. since one month after purchase OPTICAL DRIVE become disfunctional.as it was in warranty i complain regarding the same after some time to dell tech support.at the time of replacing i found that the PPID of the DAMAGED optical drive which got replaced was not matching with the PPID of its "factory setting", which clearly indicate that COMPUTER HARDWARE was TEMPERED at the DEALER'S SHOP and latter SOLD TO ME. about THIS INTENTIONAL MALPRATICE i reprted to the DELL TECH SUPPORT, they admitted it that such things are in pratice.I asked to them about where i can complain about this malpratice but they tried to escape the situation and not taken any action. I WANT TO REMIND THAT IT IS NOT THE CASE OF SINGLE PERSON GET DECIVED but many get decived on the name of DELL REGISTERED SHOW ROOM. I HAVE SOME QUESTION TO ASK TO DELL: why retailer are given certificate of dell registered showroom? why not some responsibility is imposed on the retailer? why not such dealer are banned ? compromising at any front will add to the courage of the dealer and he keep on such malpratice. so what action you have taken till now and HOW HE IS ENTERTAINING LOSS BEARED BY ME, SHOULD BE INTIMATED TO ME WITH COMPLETE DETAIL as it make my CASE STRONGER IN THE "CONSUMER FORUM " against the PARTY DELL AND ITS CONCERNED DEALER. your sincerely nagender nath pathak service tag of the system:JGXK5BS

                      Hi, I ordered a 660 Inspiron desktop from DELL. The order number is Order #[protected]. Just after I made payment to DELL, I noticed that the configuration is not same as it was required, So within 5 minutes after payment I sent a mail to Dell representative Manish "[protected]@dell.com" for cancellation of the order. He assured me that he will cancel it. 5 Minutes later I got mails and message for shipment of PC. I again contacted Dell for this. And next day they sent me mail that Order is cancelled but I will have to pay shipping charges Rs 2500/-. I did not get any refund till now. Rs 2500/ is not reasonable and small money, If a product is cancelled. It is clearly cheating with consumers. Should I go to consumer court for this kind of behavior by DELL's Indian service providers. The services are provided by DELL' www.compuindia.com

                        I purchased the dell xcd35 after 1 month it was not receiving signal and i have also used many other sim cards but again the signal was not coming then i reported it to dell service center there they said that the problem can be solved and they keep my phone for about 3 weeks and after that also the problem was not solved they say that the company had stopped making this so please take it back now and come after few days i again went there but the same they just delayed the service. i was struggling for one year and then the warranty get over and my all money was wasted.so i request you ask the the dell that what should be done and if there is no solution they should give my money back. thank you

                          Dear, kindly find the mail receipt of my dell laptop its date is 30 oct 2012 but customer care is saying that we can not send the person because ur validity for warranty is end in 2 aug 2013 and since THREE month i am moving hear and there so kindly do need full and call me other wise i will have to go for consumer coat and i will post this comment in all website Dell is cheating with customers i suggest you to please be aware from Dell laptops I purchased a laptop from Dell dealer {sandeep marketin pvt ltd .and after purchasing laptop i have used 9 month then laptop has stop working because there was hard disk got damaged . I called dell and they informed that need to contact with dealer because your warranty is gone i told to him that i have bill copy and every thing but they haven't taken any kind of actin for that they used to say contact with dealer I contact with dealer sandeep marketing pvt ltd . They told me dell service center will take care of that and he used to say i had send the bill come after 5 days and 10 days every time till the time i haven't received any kind of response . Sir i am a common man i can’t fight with Dell and i can prove that they are wrong they are cheating their customers. Please help me i will put this mail copy at all social sites also so that i can get support from the public also. Regard anurag

LUCKNOW, HI-TECH PLAZA, LALBAG on 26 march 2013, Model 6TM3NT1, 4050.I paid a large sum for this. But they still not updated warranty status. Lap top speaker not working properly. I contacted Dell Customer Care, and requested them to fix the problem but they said warranty not updated so we could not help, you should contact to the shop from, you purchased the item.                               It is really well known that the track-pad must be essentially aligned with the center of the screen. But most dell laptops with numpad violated this norm.                                   Hi, We at M/S Cosmo Ferrites Limited, Jabli Distt-Solan HP-173209, are very old users of Dell Laptops and having a very good experince with Dell Vostro 2420. But now we have purchased four no. Dell Vostro 2520 Laptops from M/S Modern Computers Parwanoo, Distt - Solan HP-173220 . In this lot of Laptops, we are facing the performance issue, laptops are running very very slow and users are unable to do their work . We have discussed this problem with Dell Representative but not got any satisfactory answers. Even they have refused to give any support to solve this problem. We have installed only MS Office 2007 on these laptops and these applications are running perfectly fine on old Dell Laptops. Please look into this matter and provide us the support immediately.                                     I purchased a dell laptop, model- Vostro 2420, Service tag-GQBB4Y1 and Service code-[protected] dated 22nd july, 2013. But after the completion of one month only, defect was found with the display of the laptop. The laptop stopped working. I registered the complaint regarding the defect in the display of my laptop to the dell company, with the ticket no- I[protected].I was provided with the technical support for the purpose of repairing the laptop thrice by the company. But the defect in the laptop is still there. It is not working properly.The technical engineer informed me that the defect of the laptop cannot be resolved. Now we are really having inconvenience in this defective laptop. So, I therefore, requested the dell company official to solve this query of mine. We urged them for the approve for the replacement of our defective laptop. But they are denying for the replacement. Its already one and a half month, that our problem is not solved.So, I kindly request you to take a quick action regarding my problem.

                                        Myself Dr. Siju Susan Jacob, MVSc, currently pursuing PhD from Indian Veterinary Research Institute. Sir I have purchased Dell Inspiron 1545 in 2008 (Express Service Code-[protected]) from U.A.E. It was working so smoothly till 2012. Since the battery backup was too low I was forced to change battery as well as adapter from an authorised dealer. After that my laptop was not switching on properly. Whenever we are keeping in a dry atmosphere it used to turn on. After one week we have taken the laptop to a Dell service centre in Bangalore. They were suggesting to change the mother board for 11000/-. Since we were not willing to do that, we have informed them to return the laptop without changing motherboard. After collecting the laptop from there touchpad as well as keyboard of the laptop was not working. We were not expecting these types of mistakes from an authorised service centre. We just want to ensure from your end that it should not happen with anyone else in future. They would have ensured that all the parts got fitted properly before handed over to us. I am doing research in Uttar Pradesh where dell service centres are not available and I am struggling a lot here. I am not in a position to go to Bangalore as well. Sir please consider this issue at the earliest.
