inspiron 1525/ batteries

Just after a 1 year of purchase, batteries are facing some serious issues. Even it is asking me to replace my batteries. Batteries are gone in just 1 year.
If this is the quality catered by company like Dell, what could happen if we go for other brands?
I paid highest price, when compared to other brands for same configuration, & am getting such kind of worst quality products from the so called leader in PC/Laptop industry....

Lack of quality and service from Dell

Hi,

I purchased Dell Studio 14 laptop on Monday 18th Jan 2010 and received the same on Thursday 21st Jan 2010 as it was a working day I checked the laptop after coming from work. Within use of the same for 20 min I started receiving fatal error and system was not booting.

Next day in morning I reported the same to Dell Customer Service and after all there diagnosis (which took about 2 hrs) it was finally concluded...

Not getting service within Warranty

I had purchased one Laptop model no. Inspiron 5400 from Dell India Pvt. Ltd.- though online on 18th May'2007. During this purchase I had also taken two years extended warranty for this.

Since last 15-20 days, I am having problem that 3-4 keys (like C,D,E,3) are not getting typed and when it is typing, it is typing 20-30 times at once. I had called many times the Dell toll free number. First they tried to rectify by advising...

Cheating

Hello Sir/madam,

I have given an order for dell laptop in dec 22 2009, I had send the DD and the order was placed on 29 dec 2009. Due to some reasons, I had to change the delivery address. I had contacted the sales representative and discussed with him about this issue. He assured me that every thing will be fine. ONE KEY IS NOT WORKING AND PROCESSING SPEED IS VERY VERY LOW EVEN 3GB RAM

I purchase a laptop 6 months before. my laptop processing speed is very very low even 3GB RAM.my hard disc is 320GB am using only 50GB.In my laptop keypad one of the key is not working properly.am going to the retailer this issue is not covered this warrenty. you pay rs.6500 this type of issue is covered.what am telling is at the time of purchase they said that one year full warranty.But now they said this type of answers.

Fake marketing

hi ,
I have booked for a Dell laptop on 9th January 2010.When i booked the laptop they made fake promises so as to give me the colours which we want and now they couldnot provide me the colour which i want and for which they send a quote and they force me to buy a new colour which i dont want and now after all process they say my order will get delayed and canot sent it on time . what is this, is this a a MNC or a retail shop.

About the order cancellation and Refund for the money.

I have placed an online order for the Dell STUDIO14 laptop on 21st of September 2009 and paid the money (Rs 47358/-) on the same date. I have also got the order confirmation e-mail on the same date. not providing necessary data for shipment

Hi,
I have ordered new adapter for my Dell laptop on 18/dec/09 and paid the full amount
(1800/-)on same day, as per the customer care executive I supposed to get it in 3 working days, however today is 6/jan/10, I have not receives it yet. When I call the same representative and asking for my shipment details (docket number, courier vendor name) she said I don’t have that details.

Not working Wireless adopter

I purchased One No Laptop bering serial no JHT50K1,REF NO 08225,MODEL NO PP41L,INSPIRON 1545 and express service code [protected] from MAF HYPERMARKET LLC SHARJAHA BRANCH UNDER TRANSATION NO[protected] under International Warranty.

small breakage on the hinge edge

i am from vizianagaram,andhra pradesh..i study in dehradun..my laptop is broken at the hinge as it fell down on the ground..laptop is working normally and there is no internal damage.only the external finish is broken and i want to change it ....what is the procedure to be followed and the exact cost..im leaving for dehradun on 15 ..so can i get back my laptop before that ? i want a reply soon....

No update on the status of PF

Hi i have applied for EPF in my company DELL International services its been four months now and there is no update on it i have been calling them but i don't get any reply from them as the no one answer ,I sent mails to dellI have sent more than 50 mails to dell i get no reply from them as well I dont know what to do now .i am so fed up with the system.Its a disgrace to have such a big name braging about ethisc and no work in done...

Game: Need for Speed Shift - (an electronic arts game application).

Description: After installing this game on my Alienware m15x, i doubleclicked the shift.exe (application) and then the game preview video runs and after the language selection

Inspiron 1526 Laptop Motherboard Dies

Add me to the list of Dell 1526 Laptop owners whose motherboard died 3 months after the warranty expired. And it was a gift to my neice which makes it all the more painful. From what I've read the battery MAY be the problem, but I am beginning to believe that the battery in these laptops is a poor design and is overheating and damaging (destroying) the motherboard. I would love to see Dell step up and take responsibility for the repairs...

Charger not received till now

I ordered a Dell Laptop Charger(Adapter) (part no CM 899) on November 4th this year. There i was told on phone by someone called Kartik Pathak that my payment has been confirmed( i made it through the SBI internet gateway successfully) and i will receive it by 10 days. He did not send any reference no. or any quotation or order no. He just sent a mail. After 10 days i called him as the charger had still not arrived. But i was told to wait...

Poor Quality

I purchased a brand new Dell Laptop and within 15 days its colour started fading from the edges, even there are some black spots formed on the top cover. I wanted to complain but i did not get get time to do so. However in another few months I noticed that the LCD frame has developed a crack.
