I purchased a DELL LAPTOP on 21/10/2014 on my name (PAWAN KUMAR TIWARI) with Invoice No. PSI/1415/02721, from DELL EXCLUSIVE STORE in Lucknow, wherin I was told that if I pay an additional Rs 1499/-, I would get a Validation Code & PIN for encashing a e-GiftVoucher of Rs 3000/- from designated stores of Peter England/Allen Solly/US Polo/Titan upto 4 months.
Accordingly I paid Rs 1499/- online & thereafter received a Validation Code No [protected] & a PIN on 3/11/2014 via SMS on my Mobile Number.
It was stated that the said eGiftVoucher (eGV) can be downloaded & redeemed anytime within 4 months i.e from date 3/11/2014 I can encash it from the designated outlets(PETER ENGLAND, ALLEN SOLLY, TITAN etc) within 03/03/2015. Accordingly, now I planned to purchase apparels from PETER ENGLAND outlet in Lucknow, But surprisingly when I attempted to download the eGV, it doesn't happen. Further, when I contacted the Gift site i.e. http://www.giftbig.com & on their Customer care No. [protected], they stated that you should have downloaded the eGV immediately on receiving the Validation Code & PIN and we will not honour your eGV.
It is submitted that NOWHERE it is written in Terms & Condition that the Customer should download the eGV immediately after receiving the Validation Code & PIN. Hence it is improper to disallow the download & redemption of eGV, until I am redeeming it within the stipulated 4 months.
Hence it is requested that, since I have already paid Rs 1499/- for the eGiftVoucher, the eGV of Rs 3000/- for redemption in PETER ENGLAND showroom may be allowed to me immediately & sent to my Email : [protected]@gmail.com at the earliest please. Further, incase this is not allowed then my Amount Rs 1499/- paid to DELL may be remitted to me immediately please.
