    Service Tag: 42LBTY1; Express Service Code: [protected]I I purchased my DELL XPS 12 from US through Amazon US on April 2014. Around Oct 2014 I started getting the BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) with the message 'System Thread Exception not Handled'. The customer care personnel took my system on remote and installed and updated the drivers. Since the issue did not get resolved I was sent a USB for Windows re installation. Again the system was taken on remote access and the Windows was reinstalled. Since the re installation of Windows the touch screen has stopped working and the BSOD issue persisted. When I contacted the customer care I was told that maybe it is the screen issue and that DELL will arrange to get the screen replaced. An engineer visited and changed the screen, but the touch screen issue and the BSOD issue remained. This time after the replacement there was a new issue of camera not getting detected. In the meanwhile I was being told that since Amazon US has purchased the product from DELL on Nov 2013 my product is out of warranty. When I got it checked by authorised DELL service Centre, I was told that the HDI IC controller of the touch screen and the camera needs to be replaced, and the entire process will cost around INR 14000. The cause behind the BSOD is yet to be detected. The product is still under warranty. I started out with the BSOD issue, after numerous calls, expending energy and money, I am left with a defective touch screen and a defective camera and the original issue of BSOD nowhere near resolved.         At the outset let me confess my perception about brand “DELL” was absolutely wrong. I perceived Dell is the best company to have a laptop from. I am having terrible experience with Dell retailer. Let me brief your about the reality which as a consumer of Dell I am facing at ground. I bought one laptop, Exp Service No. [protected] on 27thDecember 2014 from your retailer M/S Boss Computers Pvt. Ltd. (Add:- Sector 20 C, Chandigarh) and I was told I will get on Blue tooth speaker (which was part scheme) in next 10 days. Since the committed delivery date (6th Feb) I am continuously following your people to get it but all efforts went in vain. There was one person Mr.Arun Kohli who introduced himself as employee of Dell and insisted to buy the laptop from M/S Boss Computer (@ premium of INR 500/-) claiming being a direct employee from dell I should trust him and wait for 10 day to get speaker.In adjacent outlet I was getting the speaker on same day but I trusted this retailer and made the purchase from M/S Boss Computers Pvt. Ltd. (Invoice No. 5373). I am still waiting for the commitment to be fulfilled by Dell through its representative. When I call Mr. Arun Kohli to get the status of the delivery of the speaker, I was shocked to know he lied to me at the time of purchase he is not from Dell he is Dell Sales Affiliate. Secondly he lied that he and his team call me may a time for address verification (I have given my detailed address at the time of purchase) I did not get any call from them. Yesterday he committed someone will call me on 4th Feb Morning, but I did not receive any call. I want to know, who at Dell can help me to get the speaker and get me out of this.           R/Sir, On the subject & Laptop cited above, I have purchased laptop from M/s Friends Telecome, Radaur on dated[protected]. After some time, this laptop started creating problem after two or three months, logined the complaint, repaired by you timely, but still it is creating problem, already complained, no response till date, So you are requested to please take this matter seriously and repair my laptop as soon as possible.             bought my Dell Inspiron 15 in August 2013. There was an offer going on where I got an "extended warranty for one year" where they said that I will have to pay for the replaced parts but not for the service for that extended warranty period. I took my dell for battery issues to the service center yesterday and those people tell me that my warranty expired in october 2014. How? If you cannot provide me with an extended warranty then don't even sell those stupid offers to me. My charger doesnt work my battery wont charge. I cant work on this laptop anymore. Dell provides the worst service ever.

                There is some picture tube problem in the DELL monitor bearing No.CN0638 cf 7426144M 2 VEL. Contacted your Bangalore Office and as per the advice of Mr. Suresh, the photo of the Monitorand other details are attached. The monitor is under warranty and I request you to kindly replace the present monitor.

                  This is regarding the customer service provided by Yogesh was not appropriate how he did to my associate. I agree he was not carrying the receipt (information slip of my laptop) but he had his original Identity card which will be acceptable told by Javed. I understand this is your policy and I totally respect that as being in HR I also know the importance of security and policies but right message should be conveyed and the customer should be dealt in nice manner.

                    Hi!

                    I am writing to you from India on account of the manufacturing defect of my Dell Inspiron Laptop.

                    I bought this system in 2013 and its warranty expired in 2014. Now i saw change in colour at the bottom of my display screen. In order to rectify i called the customer care centre in india and according to them, the display screen has gone and has to be replaced which would cost Rs. 7000/-( Rupees Seven thousand only).

                    I feel this is a bad deal. Infact i am using a system from 2009 of Lenovo which is still going good as far as the hardware is concerned. I consider this defect purely as a case of of inferior parts and would like to raise this issue as a complaint which needs to be redressed at the earliest.

                    I want either the display to be repaired or replaced and resolve this complaint or else i would be forced to approach suitable authorities for justice.

                      Dear Team, I have bought Venue 7 3740 LTE in the month of November where Celebrate Dell offer was on where power bank and and bluetooth headphone was free. As per offer I have to send a DD of 699 which I have send and the confirmation of receiving of DD was send by mail to me on 12th Dec 2014, where I got the confirmation of receiving of DD and also got confirmation of dispatch of courier within 15 working days from respective mail ID. After 15 days when I didnt received anything courier, I again send a mail on 4th Jan 2015 regarding non receiving of couirer as per committment made by respective authority, Then on 5th of Jan they again send me a mail regarding completion of Validation process and delivery of product by next week. Again when i didnt received the courier by the committed period i again send a mail on 19th Jan 2015 where in they have confirmed that my couirer has been dispatch on 14th by track on courier and has also given respective id for confirming the same. Which i have confirmed and came to knew that the courier is laying with track on courier. The courier which was send to me on 14th Jan 2015 was been send back by the local courier office back to Bangalore on 21st Jan 2015 as per the track status which can be viewed through the site of Trackon courier. I have spoke to the Branch Manager of Track on courier in Nagpur he said that Godhani doesn't comes under there service area. Firstly I want to bring to your notice that the local office is present in Sadar in Nagpur and my place ( Godhani) is less then 6 kms from there office. Secondly I want to ask a question if this area doesn't comes under there service area then why this courier agency has not called me up in my mobile to intimate me about it ? When asked this question to local BM of courier company, he said that they send SMS which I never got ... What a joke...we are in technology world and we knw that the next generation is of technology but still the courier company are lagging behind in it... hear I want to ask one more question to courier company that why they have not called me up on my mobile when they were having it?... Don't you smell it as a pure unprofessional approach from a local courier office, customer harassment, doing job just for the sake of doing, all irresponsible people are being appointed in the courier office which you have hired, do u really feel that the courier company which u have appoint is professional enough to be hired...this and many question you should ask yourself when your appoint any agency... you all are professional company but this experience has made me feel that professionalism itself is missing in your company... your commitment fails which you are giving to your customer, ur agencies commitment fails which u have hired ... I need an explanation on it... pls don't send me automatic generated msg... I want a proper explanation on my delay... I also want confirmation when i would be getting my product...a committment which would be fulfilled... This experience is the worst experience in my life...

                        dear sir, I purchased a dell laptop in dec. 2014.After my return from USA Ifound that my laptop is not working.I gave it to aouthorised service center of dell at lucknow on 06.12.2014 and paid them RS.1100. as repair charges. on 11.12.2014 Ipaid them additional Rs.11636. as asked by them.till today they nhave not given back the repaired laptop. when i ask them they tell 1 or to weeks more.                           I have purchased a laptop from USA Inspiron 15 3000 series in Sept 2014, the service tag number is 2B3Y512 . During October i had to move to india permanently and my screen got damaged . The US Customer care had asked me to move the service tag to India and i moved the service tag number to India. Now the indian customer care asked Rs.7000/- Indian Dell customer care asked to make a payment of Rs.7000/- and i paid the amount on 12th November 2014 for the repair of the laptop screen. Last 2 months the customer care told that the replacement will come from Malayasia and will be available in first week of January . The Dell service engineer had damaged it further in december while trying to open the screen. Later, they (i.e Dell Indian customer care ) want to contact Dell US Customer care to get the repair done. I spoke to Dell US Customer care and they suggested since the service tag is transferred to Dell India they have to do the repair. Dell India says that the parts are available in USA and dell india cannot procure the parts. It is becoming extremely difficult to work with the laptop . I am really wondering why Dell India and Dell USA cannot figure out a solution while the service tag is transferred from Dell USA to Dell India. The way Dell is acting is like the government office . Its already been more than 3 months from when i had initialled the complain from changing the service tag and more than 2.5 month after paying Rs.7000/- to fix the issue of the screen. And the response which i get from dell is really unprofessional. Asking me to go back to USA to get the system repaired. I spoke to the USA dell customer care and they were really surprised how can dell india say this as the service tag has been transferred to india and it is indian dell customer care to help me out they cannot just ask me to go here and there. Also if i have to go back to usa is dell india ready to pay for my travel which would be around Rs.1 lakh for to and fro travel. If this sounds ridiculous then how can Dell india customer care suggest this. Is this not unprofessional? Further, dell india has said it will get some response on 28th Jan 2015. I am keeping my figures crossed. On 30th Jan 2015 after sending email to dell india it said " We regret to inform that the parts expected to be procured from overseas hub has been delayed due to unavoidable circumstances and we do not have an estimate time for the parts to be made available for service as per the present update. However we have requested for an expedite and time frame for the parts. We are expecting a response from our procurement team by 10th of Feb." This is really unacceptable from the part of Dell India that the quality of service is very poor and still they are not able to give me a confirmed answer if the laptop will be repaired by 10th of Feb.                             I had purchased an Extended warranty from Mr. Soumick Majumber, your sales staff on 28.11.14 and have made an NEFT transfer on the same day and on 04.12.14 you have sent me an Order confirmation for the 2yr AMC. Today when I called the technical support they refused to help saying that I am out of warranty. When I contacted soumick he lethargically says he forgot to update and wants a week time which means until then my problem will not be resolved. This is not the first time I face this issue regarding warranty last it was snehal Ajani and this time too she is the culprit. As her name only reflects on the order confirmation. pls ask her to do update the customer records. In the mean time Reju Thomas wants me to send my bank statement to prove my purchase. Will you show your bank statement to prove that you have not received. This seems to be ridiculous. Your service was bad and now it has become even more worst.                               I have purchased a dell laptop on 25th December 2014 under the promotional offer that i will get free portable bluetooth speaker worth Rs. 4000 to 5000 from Dell but till date i have not received any such gift nor any information from dell for the same, also as assured by the dealer that i will get an email from dell which also i didnt received . Upon followup with dell they keep tranfering the call to different departments and act as if they dont know anything about it.


                              Please resolve the same.

                                I bought Dell Inspiron 15 3000 series laptop on 24.10.2014 . From the third day onwards it shutdown suddenly, while working on the laptop.We took the laptop to the place where it has been bought.Three times they tried to solve this issue, but still it remains the same.we bought the laptop from Alphanet Lap world Cherthala, Alappuzha, Kerala.                                   Dear dell,

                                  It's been a very great experience using your laptop and services since years and i would like to take a moment to express my true experience and feelings for you.

                                  I have been using dell laptop for 3 years now and last month my machine display got crashed without any specific reason or symptom. I tried to check it preliminary and when i was not even able to start it, then i rushed to your service center, just because you guys do not entertain such things on call. I said it's ok even after knowing that others (Your competitors) provide such consultation on call first because they look for customer convenience as well.

                                  Somehow i managed to visit your service center on a busy weekday and after a complete check i got to know that it's motherboard has stopped working and due to which display is not working. I asked for the cost of replacing the motherboard, they said it would cost me around 14k. Being unaware about the cost of motherboard i said i will have to wait for somedays in order to get it changed (Because of shortage of money at that point of time). They said ok, but you need to pay for the consultation. I thought it would be a minor amount but they asked for 1362/-. Don't you think it's a pretty much amount just for the sake of checking it once. Even doctors don't charge this much for consultation. But since i don't have any option other than paying 1362/-, so i made the payment.

                                  After all this, being a loyal dell user i decided to get my laptop repaired from their service center. It was a trust that i had shown. Just before giving my laptop, i thought to get it checked from some small hardware vendor, so i visited a small store nearby. They checked the complete laptop and said it's not at all a motherboard issue and it will be done in just few hours. After sometime, i got a call that my laptop is working fine now and i can collect it. I just asked for the cherges that it incurred, the guy said 1950. I said what (Keeping in mind that he must be saying something 14k), he said it's just 1950. I said ok and first thing that came into my mind was, don't you people know how to investigate the issue or you guys only know how to make money.

                                  Your technical support team should try to first take lessons in order to resolve the issue. If a small store guy can resolve a issue after knowing that i got an answer for motherboard replacement, don't you guys think about your customer first and then money making. The cost that you charged for a mere consultation, was actually equivalent to cost of repairing the laptop. Is this the business that you are actually into?

                                  You say "easy as dell", i would say nothing would be as difficult as dell.
                                  "your power is here" is not meant for the customers, it's just for you guys.
                                  Where is the customer satisfaction that should be at first place, you being into a customer oriented business.

                                  I am seriously very much up with the cost and level of services that i received from your side.

                                      Dear Sir, I have purchased a Set of Computer alongwith a DELL Monitor with led of 54.6 CM (S224OL) from Windows World of Baruipur, Brickfield Road, Kolkata - 700144. Unfortunately, we are astonished that POWER CABLE has not been found in the box, though it is written in the contents in the front portion of the box. It is really unexpected from you like renouned company.I am sorry to say that this incident has made a bad impression of your company in my mind as i fail to start my DELL monitor today as well as become deprived from watching new. I think you will take an appropriate measure against this so that none like me face this and kindly arrange to send a power cable to my under noted address.(C/o Sujan Kumar Hazra, I-61 Baghajatin Pally, Kolkata-700092, near Baghajatin State General Hospital.                                         Dear sir, I have bought a dell laptop Inspiron 15 (3521) Service Tag: 4SR73X1 | Express Service Code: [protected] from USA by amazon.com. It's warranty was showing 25 may 2015 from last 15 month. When i got a problem in my laptop keyboard then i contact to dell customer support. They told if you want my support in india then transfer the ownership to India. After trying from last five month finally they transfer the ownership in 13 january 2015. But my laptop warranty is now showing expired after transfer the ownership.Even My Dell Software which is pre-installed in my laptop which provided by dell support is showing warranty till 25 may 2015 this time. I am contacting to dell support about warranty issue but they all are making me fool, and not solving my issue. regards, Aniket Singh [protected]@gmail.com [protected]
