Since yesterday i am getting 402 error on my tv. I am not at all happy with dishtv services, package prices increased a lot day by day they are increasing charges. When i took my connection i paid 1400 as a security deposit. I have a receipt for the same. How can i get back that money. I am going to file a case in consumer court. Now to rectify this 402 error i need to pay. Dish tv is taking benefit of football matches. Kindly resolve this urgently. I will not pay anything for this. I need to surrender this garbage.

I use DISHTV . But I am satisfied this service. They tell me our setup box is life time warranty but when my setup box got problem the tell me it will be changed and cost rs 500 .

Sir I am costumer of dish TV and my monthly pack is 100rs month ( Bharat pack ) after 3&4 month I added 2 New channels Sony 10 and star sports in my pack for cricket watching and I paying 242 RS per month but now I request again and again to company (costumer care )please delete my 2 channels but they aren't delete channels so please help

    Hello sir,

    I have to change my set top box of dishtv from sd to hd so i called dishtv costumer care now it's 4 day of mine but still now the the new set top box have not been install i have tried calling them but they only tell me that we will do it tonight, tomorrow and the service which i have got from dishtv is 3rd class at frist it took 5 minutes to call costumer care no. Then if any small would be there they will our call no hold for 10 15 minutes after that at last they will tell we will solve your problem as soon as possible but problem doesn't get solve so i request please do something about it. Thank you...

      I have been calling dish tv call centre for the last 7 days in continuity hvaving account balance in parent connection for both child as well as parent too and switch off date is may 2019.
      Still the child connection is deactivate. Shaving dookan to customer care team 7 times and seniors 3 times no solution is provided.

      My vc number is [protected]
      I have been using dish tv for more than 8 years and now is left with only choice of switch over to another service provider.
      Refund of balance amount will be claimed through consumer forum or court of law.
      After being disappointed i am left with no choice

      Since last 6 years I am using HD ROYAL Pack. Now I would like to Degrade the PACK but, customer care representative say, IT HAS CONDITION (*), which says .. No Degrade the Pack. It seems I will have to Remove Dish Tv and use Other Vendor.

      Please do let me know if there is any other way to degrade the pack.

      I do not own any dishtv connection, hoever i keep getting sms regarding expiry and renewal, it was difficult to find out whos sending sms, since there was no dish tv mentioned. I would like to requestt metal retards at dish tv, kindly deregister my number 9890477xx0 against VC[protected].

          I have opted for hd platinum pack wherein i am eligible for all the hd channels.
          They are not giving me the football world cup channel stating that this is new channel and cannot be given and i have to purchase it separately.
          I should be getting that channel automatically.

          When i asked them to refund my remaining amount they flatly denied.

          They took everything in cash and i was foolish to trust them and paid the yearly amount.

          Their customer service is never responding.

            V.C nO.[protected] I have called several times for customer care nubmber but no response it if picked up they will speak in Tamil only. I have booked with you Kannada channels. Now your call centre employees cannot speak other than tamil. It finds us difficult continue as customer. Since I can not view my channels through you dishtv connection. It displays only " Loading Please wait" Now we waited more than 72 hours. If we massage as per your instruction call me back to 57575. from registered mobile Number it will not go.               We have online recharge for dishtv dth connection for rs.600/- on 16.06.18 through www.dishtv.in. payment is made through pnb retail netbanking.. The captioned amount has been deducted from my account, but it is not being credited to our consumer parent idno-[protected] in the name rajesh mohanta of dish tv. The detail of payment made is as under:-

              Transaction particular - cc avenue/[protected]/[protected]
              Date-16.06.2018

              It is pitty to mention that after registering complain for several time through customer care, they are not activating our dish tv connection though full payment is made. They are telling us that no payment is showing in my dish tv account.
              If it is not being credited then where is the amount gone. Kindly inquire about the matter and activate my dishtv connection at the earliest.

                I registered a complaint on 16 june 2018 for problems in my dish tv connection having vc number [protected]. I subscribed for a sony ten hd 3 channel the same day and soon after a probem of 301 no signal found started popping up. Although i was promised a solution within 24 hours no technician called before 18 june. The technician suggested to replace the hd set top box as there seems to be some issue with it. Now the technician demanded 610 rs to replace it. First of all this problem has arised due to some changes in your software due to my a new channel selection and while i had opted for dish tv i was promised life time warranty on set top box. Its already been 4 days and dish tv continues to harras a customer who has paid in advance for entire 1 year subscription. Is this how you treat your customers on false promises and cheating just to get a new connection. Im now going to file a pil, grievence resolution letter to ministry of consumer affarirs and legal complaint against dish tv for continus mental harrasment and wrong practices.

                  Hi

                  We are not able to watch tv from last 4 days and raised complaints vide #[protected] &[protected].
                  Your people are not listening anything and are not talking even properly.
                  I am using the connection from 10 years and last 2 years i am facing the continuous issues every now and then and every time i have to struggle like this to get the problem resolved and your technicians will not be having the proper knowledge as well.
                  There fore i was planning to get this connection disconnected as no proper service is provided, but your people are straightaway saying as per company policy no refund for amount once paid to company.
                  I feel cheated by this. No service and no money back.
                  Request you to please take any proper action to help me out.

                    Dish tv product is not working & a complaint (Req. No.[protected] was registered on 16th june 2018. As informed by the customer care of dish tv, the service visit tat is 24 hours & technician from dishcare centre will visit us between 13:20-14:20 hrs on 17/06/18. The technician did not visit till now & the company is refusing to schedule visit as per our convenient time, & also not accepting request for refund of recharge done.

                      I'm dishtv customer and hugely disappointed with cheap gimmicks of dishtv.

                      Normally i watch tv once in 4 years during fifa world cup.

                      But when i started watching world cup inaugration on 14th then commentary was in 4 languages viz. Bengali, tamil, telugu and malayalam, i dont understand any one of them. When i check, i noticed that for english one, i need to pay additional money to enable another channel. And customer is suppose to call the helpline number. Tried 7-8 times but not able to make call. Only next day could talk and paid amount to enable english commentary channel sony ten 2 hd.

                      But whenever small rain or cloudy sky, the video use to stop or lot of pixelization. And today no signal at all.
                      But surprisingly sony espn in bengali version is working fine with no issue.

                      Made a call to dishtv helpdesk and did all the steps asked by them. Later spoke to supervisor and again followed steps. But to no avail. I was asked to booked a visit with extra charges. And further charges if card issue or other things.

                      Money per se no issue but method used and holding customer at ransom and playing dirty and cheap gimmicks has spoiled the name and image of dishtv for me. With first chance will switch over. ​

                          Am getting promotional calls from various mobile & landline numbers even though i have registered for dnd. I have said multiple times that i don’t need calls but it’s of no use. Recently they have been calling and when the phone gets picked, they disconnect after 5-6 sec. This is disturbing and i want to take a legal course.

                          Am regretting taking a dish tv connection.

                            They told me that the locking period problem as per your so called policies and unable to add one additional channel i. E. Sony ten 3, in these reference i would like to note following questions to your present worst customer care policies which are not in favour of client but only favours dish tv"s malpractices and i strongly protest and not willing recommend to go for dish tv.

                            Our expectations are you must provide us an access to add or remove channel at any time with same total costing or extra additional costing and that can be adjusted in same previous payments, without going to choose all previous channel procedures, in this reference see the following issues...
                            Have you have checked whether this criteria is fulfil or not?
                            In such case only single telephonic or written request of channel addition or deletion is not sufficient?
                            How much time is required to activate such activity i am trying for the same since five days and still not getting just a single channel sony ten 3 with my previous pack or different pbc pack selection. Check my all requests regarding the same without bias.
                            In pbc why rs, 150/- purchase is compulsory which is also not along with all taxes?
                            Why your confirmation call is essential after purchase?
                            Why we are not getting only our purchased channels and national free channels (Zero costs)?
                            Why you people provide us devotional channels which are only spreading superstitions in society and which we are and many peoples not willing to see and waste our time? Does it fulfill the fundamental use of television criteria i. E. Entertainment, information and education?
                            If we select rs. 150/- pcb what is the price of our pcb pack along with taxes? Is it 177 with 18% or more?
                            What is the meaning of pcb pack as per common sense? Is it only selected channels of client or your interference in his privacy?
                            All above issue are serious for us and expecting your written reply and not your calling time pass strategies, because we are clear about the power of media in social mind.
                            Expecting you understand it very well and correct it in favour of customer if you really want to care otherwise simply close it immediately and only apply your business packs without hidden charges and cultural agenda.

                                From the time i opted for dishtv back in 2013, their service has been extremely shoddy. I discontinued service in 2016, but out of compulsion by family, i was requested to reinstate it for a specific time and so recently, i got a new connection. Problems began, as expected, from day 1.

                                I went for the south platinum pack with sports add-on initially (About a month ago). Firstly, dishtv has a stupid algorithm that automatically assumes that if you are from bangalore, you must be interested in kannada channels, your sms text alerts will be in kannada.. You will get a whole bunch o[censored]seless, cheap-priced kannada channels whether you like it or not.

                                So, i wanted to change the pack to pick-by-channel so i can choose only predominantly tamil channels, but i was told that i could do that only after 14th june 2018.

                                Fine, i waited till 14th, and when i tried it, i was asked to recharge my account balance because pick-by-channel is for a minimum period of 3 months. And of course, if i choose pick-by-channel, dishtv decides not to give me any hd channels. God knows why we customers went and bought hd television sets when dishtv recommends us old prehistoric cathode ray tube television sets in 2018!!!

                                And then i paid up the minimum balance and selected my channels, and voila! I got a message saying my request had been accepted and initiated and that i would get a call from one of your executives. But nothing for almost 24 hours, and so i had to call back and speak to one executive (Who identified herself as ms. Sonal).
                                In the mean time, i even received messages saying that my previous pack has been continued for me.
                                Naturally, i was concerned and told sonal that i wanted pick-by-channel.
                                And then she tells me, "sir you are not eligible for pick-by-channel."
                                I asked why. She says, "i don't know sir, some customers are not eligible..". I again requested to know what she meant by "some customers". She then tells me that some senior manager will call me within 30 minutes.
                                It is now more than 2 hours...!!

                                So, essentially, i have now paid up more than ₹ 1800 into my account, which i am sure dishtv is cunningly deducting day-by-day (For my previous plan) even without offering me the new product / service i opted and paid for.

                                This is nothing short of fraud, and incompetent service and must be reported.

I requested for re installation of my dish and set top box at my new place of posting on 08.06.2018. I was assured by call center that my work will be completed within 24 hrs but it is very true that my dish has not been re installed as on 12.06.2018 till 9.00pm. I received call from so called owner of service center on 09.06.2018 from mobile no [protected] at 10.40 am and they assured me that the work will be attended by today itsel[censored]p to 4.00pm. After 4.00pm I called on mobile no [protected] and they told me that the work has been allotted to mechanic with mobile no [protected]. I called on mobile no [protected] and the mechanic assured me that he will come at 5.00pm and will complete the work but he did not arrived. Then again I called on both no and they again told me that they will take up the job on next day i. e. 10.06.2018. I cancelled all my appointment on 10.06.2018 and waited whole day for mechanic and they did not come for job work. Many times I called them but they just told me to wait.
                                        Thereafter again I called so called owner of service center on 11.06.2018 on mobile no [protected] and again he assured me that another mechanic with mobile no [protected] will attend the job and they will certainly re install the dish by today itself. Many times I called them but they did not perform the job.
                                        Thereafter again I called so called owner of service center on 12.06.2018 on mobile no [protected] and again he assured me that another mechanic with mobile no [protected] will attend the job and they will certainly re install the dish by today itself. I called to call center also regarding all this and they forwarded my call to supervisor at call center. We have 10 min talk with supervisor and he also assured me that the job will be completed by today itself and they felt sorry for the delayed. Many times I called mechanic with mobile no [protected] and he assured me that he is reaching in 15 mins (last call record is attached) but till 9.15 pm, no one reached to complete the re installation work.
                                        How we customer shall have faith on DISH TV AND THEIR SERVICE PATNER/ PROVIDER. A LITTLE TASK HAS NOT BEEN DONE DESPITE REPEATED REQUEST/TALK/ASSURANCE /WAITING. STILL WAITING AND WAITING.
                                        DOES U SOLVE THE ISSUE AND WILL TAKE ANY ACTION AGAINST DEFAULTER?
