I contacted customer executive to know about 3 months pe 4 months offer for my dishtv [protected] 10 March 17 at 10:06 am. The executive misguided me that I can avail offer benefit for both base pack and add on HD pack.After recharging with 1305. I was given 6 months for base pack only and was informed that offers are only valid for base pack and not for HD add on pack. I also passes the audio of the executive who misguided me. My whole amount may be returned back or I shall approach furthur with legal means

      This is not the first time, I got this problem many times, that is why I'm posting the complaint.I recharge my dish tv on 7th march but still it is showing your switch off date is 9th march which is today.And if my vc card deactivated once then they'll charge fine for late recharge.
      I received sms on my registered mobile no. that my recharge is done and they give validity till 27th march.But it is not updated till now, what to do.
      And the most disgusting thing is that they call frequently to change my SD connection to HD.Now, you tell me what should I do with HD connection when I've a flat screen T.V..

        In 2 September 2016 new dish connection order given to SatNam Singh Mobile no. [protected] by my Mother Sakinder Kaur.
        We got massage that your installation Request number is[protected]
        Our service provider from Dish Tv Royal Electronics will come later to install the connection.Day after they come and installed the connection but when we start Tv due to shifting home Tv stop working on that time
        Then we paid the Amount 1269rs for connection plus recharge.
        But We did not see the connection is activated or not. They said it will be activated after an hour.
        But from that day Tv not repaired by us due to busy schedule we were not recharge after till today.
        But now I purchased new when I started Tv it's showing massage
        102:viewing card deactivated
        It's vc number is [protected].
        Then I call the customer care number but they informed me that your details are not in our knowledge even the mobile number on which SMS from Dish Tv comes after booking that is not registered ?
        How the massages comes from installation ?
        The connection purchased by my Mother name Sakinder Kaur and mobile number is [protected] which is not registered ??
        Today want to recharge connection kindly resolve the problem regarding activation.

        I did not telling you a story sir.
        First of all your the Dealer named Mr.Satnam Singh does not working on given complaint.
        2nd The boys comes to installed the connection activation not completed by them .proof is we are not registered customer why ?even after submit the document.
        3rd We call every day to resolve the problem but there is no one who listen and working on it.
        4th Yesterday, when I called Mr.Satnam Singh
        He said you may change the box or viewing card must go on near shop of dish TV even address raffrance given by him.
        When I went to shop he answered change your box from where you purchased.
        Then i called Satnam Singh he Said give them phone I told him .
        Don't know but he is agree after talking Satnam .
        But he said gave them ID proof then i back to home to take I'd zorex copy to give them .
        But after taking the proof till the box not changed by them not even viewing card activated by them he just said we passed the complaint to company.
        After an hour the service provider will come your home and they repaired it.
        Then i came back home.
        But The whole day is passed no one come to resolve the problem.

        Comes from Royal Dish TV.
        Even not the good response throw direct online complaint .
        Kindly resolve it untill how can I satisfy?

          I have found out what the problem is myself, after lodging the complaint instead of the dish tv customer service finding it. They simply didn't act enough on resolving the issue.
          I logged into my account and was shocked to find that my recharge amount is not credited to my account. And my money was missing.
          How has dish tv committed this critical mistake and made me suffer for 9 days from
          27th feb without any service and on top of it all... Also de-activated my account...???
          I recharged for 6 months on 10/01/17, but where is the money which i recharged into my dish tv account on 10/01/17 for 6 months + free days gone??
          Now what answers do the dish tv recharge team have for this poor service???
          And not solving my problem for the past 9 days. Why did dish tv de-activate my account when a payment was done for 2580 for 6 months until july 2017??? Why did dish tv cause so much of in-convenience and mental agony without even finding the problem when i had been complaining for the past 9 days... And the customer i myself had to find out the problem???
          So many e-mail complaints, still no solution or re-activation has been done on the 9th day.
          This is not the first time., earlier in january too suddenly some of the channels or packs would be blacked out without any notice and then would only be restored after i make complaints.

            How is it possible that my account is deactivated.

            There is balance in my account, last payment was made on[protected]. It is showing in my account statement also.

            I am trying to reach your support but seems they incapable of resolving any issue and are obsessed with talking verbally while their company is eating customer money by cheating them when their own account statements reflect payments have been made.

            I paid another 800 Rs and it started working fine.

            Now your company has again de-activated it again. You are cheaters. And I am going to take it to consumer court.

              I had bought a five year prepaid plan in the name of my son Abhijeet, in the year 2013.
              Recently as none o[censored]s were present at our house in Allahabad we did not know when they have stopped there services without any notice. On 22nd Jan, 17 evening we reached home we got the message through the TV screen that due to non payment the services have been stopped.
              During last almost three and half years we have come across with such a situation a number of times.
              Every time we had to call them and remind them of our plan and after wasting some time they used to restart their services.
              This time they took more than an hour to restart but only for three days. They claimed verbally that the pack was upgraded and as such the invested amount exhausted before the agreed period. They repeatedly go on insisting on it verbally but refrain from coming out with any proof.
              Since I am a Bank executive posted out of city, don't have enough time for this, chose to go for recharging under protest, so that my family may not suffer and recharged their Super family pack with sports Chanel for Rs.315.00315.00 per month and paid Rs.350. 00 on 25th Feb17 as advised by their authorised dealer M/S Suvidha Kendra, Allahabad.
              Just after a few days tto our utter surprise, notice of recharge on the TV screen started blinking once again. On contacting them we are told that as the previous plan was a better plan now it cannot be degraded.
              Now I find my self grossly cheated by them, who don't come out with account statement and distort every thing at their will.
              I just want justice and penal action against them.

              I, Sankar Nath Pramanik, VC No.[protected] enrolled myself as a consumer of Dishtv since 07 Feb. 2005 particularly for Regional Channels (Bangla) initially @Rs.35 per month. Gradually Dishtvindia increased it to Rs.250 per month which I had to pay but sarcastically observed that they are reducing 30-days a month to 29 days, thereafter 28-days a month. The matter was reported but their tacit way to reduce number of days per service month silently continued. My repeated complaint and/or reportings became futile efforts; As such I discontinued my consumership but ridiculously they are sending SMS..."100 percent cash back on your Dishtv VC No.[protected]. Get Rs.250 casback on Rs.250 recharge. Call on Toll Free..." What a cheating bussiness? May God help these cheaters!

                I have been a customer of DishTV DTH service since August 2016.
                After the company's service staff installed the Set Top box and I submitted the required application form on the 16th or 17th August 2016, I was promised that the connection will be activated within 48 hours. But actually, the company took nearly one month to activate it after dozens of calls and more the Rs. 150/- spent on calls to the DishTV customer care.
                When every other reputed company has free customer care numbers, I don't understand why DishTv doesnt have and even an SMS cost Rs. 3/- which means the company is making money from the customer for each SMS.
                Afterwards, everytime I tried to register online on the DishTv website in the past four months I have received the following error message:"we are currently unable to log you into this section. We are working to fix this and regret the inconvenience caused" Without registration, I am not able to select the packages of my choice and I have called their sales manager and customer service personnnel in Bhubaneswar at least a dozen times and they never resolved my issue in spite of all their promises.
                I would like the company to take back their set top box, give me my refund so that I can take a better service provider.

                    Hello COnsumer Complaint Officer,

                    DishTV VC No. [protected]
                    With reference to a complain registered against DISH TV Cable service Operator, I would like to resister my grievance against them.

                    Kindly note my VC number is [protected] as per registration done with DISH TV.I have installed DISH in in the month of Jan, 2017.

                    Once I have inquired about the recharge packages,
                    they have provided me with the information (price details)of Hindi Movie channel package along with other packages and asked me to check the channel details from their registered website.
                    Once I have checked all the channel in their website under each package and Then I did complete recharge.

                    But the twist came after recharge is done for four months altogether.I am not receiving the channels as per shown in their website.
                    After asking them multiple times(15-17 times) in customer care they have informed that channel packages are not grouped as shown in the website.
                    They have subdivision inside the packages which is no where mentioned in the packages mentioned in the website.
                    ONE MORE THING I NEED TO MENTION HERE THAT, I PAID FOR THE HINDI CINEMA ADD-ON PACK AND FOR THE CINEMA ADD-ON PACK, THEY ARE PROVIDING ME "NEWS" CATEGORY CHANNELS WHICH ARE NOT LISTED ANYWHERE. I HAVE PROVIDED THE SCREENSHOT(FROM THEIR SITE) FOR HINDI MOVIES ADD-ON PACK, WHERE THE CHANNELS LIKE " UTV MOVIES", UTV ACTION", "STAR GOLD", "SONY SAB", "UTV BINDAAS".
                    BUT IN REALITY, I AM NOT GETTING ANY OF THESE CHANNLES, WHICH IS REALLY FRUSTRATING !!!
                    This kind of INFORMATION HIDING is equal to do a FRAUD ACTIVITY with a customer.
                    They have taken money for four months recharge from me and not willing to provide the service as per mentioned in their site.
                    I would like to appeal for this kind of fraudulent done with me by DISH TV cable operator.
                    PLEASE CHECK WITH THEM AND HELP ME TO GET NECESSARY CHANNELS ASAP

                    Statsports select hd 2 is not available on dish tv for alooong time now.the channel which was initially launvhed last august is available in all other dish networks and im planning to throw away my dish tv connection.its a shame on you people.that you cannot launch a channel even after these many days.

                      Over the last few days channels that I have PAID for are showing an Unsubscribed Error page for no reason. We have subscribed to a Platinum Sports package which is supposed to include channels like StarWorld, BBC World, etc. The pack is recharged until 30th March 2018. There is no reason for channels to go missing. It is extremely frustrating and very unprofessional to be denied of a service I have paid for handsomely.

                        I bought a DIsh TV HD box - and there it said that you will have 1 month of titatnium hd free. It no where said that I'll have to just have that particular package for lifetime(or it was not somewhere a customer could read while buying). My intent was to have a combination of DISH 99 and full on HD pack for an year or 6 months.

                        Unfortunately I cannot do that via my online account.

                        1) DTH site is not allowing me to modify my pack online.

                        2) when I write to their CEO - I get a call explaining that I should check the site online and do this and that and go there to modify pack. I am informed teh same via email.

                        3)My question to them was to allow me to update/ modify my hd pack from titanium to full on HD.

                        4) the team is fooling me around and now they have blocked my account to send any further email to them or to the CEO.

                        This is Dishtv India. I feel trapped and am surprised to see such behavior from such a reputed company. This is my another try to check if the company would really take any heed for their customers and help them resolve their issue. Or just to have a good NPS they will continue answering something else to the customer to reflect that there is no problem in their question.

                        I'm attaching screenshots to show how dish tv is blocking me to file a complaint on their site, I've no other option to file a complaint in a written form.

                                    I am a resident of greater noida and I have dish tv connection.
                                    Yesterday morning my connection was discontinued
                                    When enquired customer care said that their terminal is not functioning and they cannot refresh .
                                    Again few hours later on enquiry same story and they said they will send a technician.
                                    The technician said that ur recharge is due hence the problem.
                                    We recharged it and it still did not function
                                    The technician came in the evening and said no problem with set up box as on switching on the setup box it loads then shows initial ads and then again recharge message
                                    Now the question is if the setup box is faulty then how come it switches onn shows ads and later recharge signal
                                    Besides I am not the only one having this problem 9 complaints of greater noida yesterday facing same problem
                                    U can check on twitter the other victims.
                                    Now I would like to request dish tv to refrain from such cheap fraud as they want us to buy new set up box
                                    I will not buy and not advice anyone dish tv
                                    If I have to buy I will buy from some other company
                                    And yes this problem faced by only hd subscribers and hd setup box users

                                    One Mr.Rahul spoke to my husband from the no.[protected] of dish tv. 2 hrs. back and said the set up box needs to be changed and he will get the problem fixed for 350/-and 150/- for box etc plus service taxes
                                    Though it is their fault and set up box is not faulty but to cover face they made this deal with us .we also thought fine they have got the message of cheating .
                                    But now the dealer refuses to do it in the said charges and his billing is coming to 1100/- which was mentioned yesterday by the technician
                                    Now I am not interested in dish tv.
                                    I want all to know they are cheats and fooling people
                                    I want my 500/-recharge of yesterday plus 10 day balance of recharge which is also there to be refunded at the earliest .
                                    I will never recommend dish tv to anyone and am now switching over to another service.

                                      I am 25 year old man i live in Rajkot my 25 year Life is less stressful then my 10 month experience with dish tv i will start from Beginning i ordered dish HD+ by calling costumer care, person came from dish tv and installed dish HD+ in 24 hours it was all good for 2 month after 2 months biggest nightmare of my life starts my dish HD+ Drops Signal in every 5 Minute Picture Quality Like if you Put Scratched DVD into DVD Player i was ok with it i thought it's just minor Problem and service man will come and Fix this Problem so i called costumer care my experience with dishTv costumer Care is like dumb and dumber, i will explain You why, Difficulty Level beginner - i told them my exact problem but they keep ask me about sir aapka channel Nahi Show Kar Raha?, I Told Them that My Channel is Showing But it's Not Showing Properly then they ask me What Error is Showing On My Screen? This is most dumb conversation i have done with Any Costumer care then they added my complaint i finished Beginner level Now Difficulty level Hard - service person came to my home and he has no idea what exactly the problem is so he said that the wall where dish antenna is placed is weak yes he said that wall is faulty so i told him so why do you placed antenna on weak wall? he didn't reply, now i have only one option move antenna to another wall now he asked me that i have to pay charge for it why because he was the one who placed it on weak wall i have to pay Them 250 rupees i had no option so give him 250 rupees he changed antenna location to another wall, i finished hard level. Difficulty level Expert - after 3 month o[censored]se the same problem started i called costumer care they said that my set top box is in warranty and they will replace it with "new"one i was happy that my problem will finally solved the service man came to my home in just 3 hours and replaced My Dish HD+ With Old Version Dish TruHD+ i realize that there is something wrong so i called costumer care and told them that the person they send to replace my 10 month old set top box is replacing it with older set top box they told me that it's ok i am not going to face any problem in old version set top box And i "Trusted" Them And allowed him to Replace My New Version Set top Box With old Version Set Top Box, he leaves after replacing my set top box now i started watching tv just after 10 minute set top box starts behaving weirdly Remote Control sync problem, When I Changed Channel there was 2 second black screen, after 5 minute it Automatically shuts screen Set top box Green Light is on But Screen Goes Black so i called costumer care again and told them that they promised me that i am not gonna face any problem with old version Dish TruHD+ But its already behaving weird i told them exact problems starting from booting time it takes, Remote Control lag, Channel Changing lag and Auto shutdown issues, then he asked me what is exact problem my set top box Have i told him 4 problems and he is still asking me about exact problem i told that problem is that you replaced my 10 month old in warranty set top box with refurbished damaged set top box, And i want Dish HD+ Guess What They told me that i am only getting Refurbished Dish TruHD+ It's like Replacing My iphone 6 with iphone 5 it's clear unfair to Costumer who gives you hard earned money for Good Service i failed Expert level Difficulty. Because i am a common man i don't know What i can Do to Help Myself in this Situation Buying New Set top box from another brand is not the solution it's Like promoting bad service like this my complaint is closed without solving my problem ( "Set top Box Loot" is the right name for this Situation) My VC Number is [protected]-2 if somebody wants to help me in this?

                                        I did dishtv recharge of rs.550/- on 15th february.. Money deducted from my account but recharge not done..
                                        My dishtv vc no. Is[protected]...
                                        I did not receive any transaction sucsess message from dishtv..
                                        I called to the customer care no. Of dishtv but i did not get the satisfied answer...
                                        I got the message of money deducted from my account..
                                        I want that for what purpose the money was deduct.
                                        And want to get my money back in my account..
                                        Assure me that my problem will be solve soon...
