Hi my dishtv VCC # is [protected]. i have called dishtv and booked a tech on 9th of august and i was promised that a technician would be there within 24 hrs, its 15 august 2014 today and i am still waiting for a technician, its very hard to understand how they calculate 24 hrs... every time i follow up i get request id, however they are just of no use, no technician came to my house and i am still waiting... i have recharged my account and from last 8 days i am not able to enjoy or view my services and i also called dist tv asking for compensation and they said nothing can be done about... I hope anything can be done now via consumer forum...plz help Request id for technician 14157986, 14157987, 14237855. Must say really pathetic service, because of providers like this we have to face this problems. Regards Pratik [protected]

    I got two sms after recharging my Dish Tv in the month of May 2014. First Msg:First one stating that " Post recharge of Rs. 280.00 MOD non stop has been activated on CH. 254 for 27 days. Rs. 21.00 processing fee was levied. Your recharge date is shifted to 21.06.2014" Why the hell is that??? Explain in detail why I am supposed to pay this??? Second msg: New channels Max2 and Discovery kids are added to your pack wef 1 June 2-14. Price of your pack will be revised to 300.00 from next recharge. Who told you to add these two channels and revise my pack price without my consent????? I don't want those channels so delete those and keep the pack price at 280.00. Comply immediately!!! Further, today I received an invoice which says that my pack price is now 320.00..I have sent an email regarding these matters on 28 May 2014. Till date I havent received any reply. Can anyone help?       I am a customer of dishtv with vc no-[protected]. I had a ' family pack' priced about Rs 220/p.m. . it has been increased to about 280/pm.without my consent. Now I have been informed that it is again enhanced to Rs. 320/p.m. without my consent.I strongly protest this kind of activity and request you to change my pack to original family pack with price about Rs. 200 per month.

          Hello Dear Sir / Madam, I am your existing customer since 10-12 years and my VC No Is : [protected]. Recently last November or December I had replace / Upgraded my set top box from SD to HD . But unfortunately I am strongly facing problem on all HD channels. I had make complain on customer care and Service Engg. was visited twisty, I had made his all payment. But He didn't given any receipt . After Visited 1 week or 2 week all HD channel were worked OK but after 1 or 2 week one by one all HD channel were again having same problem. When I complain on customer care He was/is asking my receipt no. I wasn't any idea about to collect receipt from service engg. and they wasn't given any receipt. Now my all HD channel are gone. I am still paying and recharged my HD Channel in regular basis but last couple of month I haven't seen my all HD channel in good condition. So Dear support please do need full help as early as possible and try to fixed my problem. Otherwise I have to go another alternative solution. I am awaiting your response.           Hello Support,

          Today one Service Engg was visited at my Home for resolving my existing problem They told the dish receiver has some problem and it should be change after that this problem will be resolved.
          I have few query :

          1) According to Service Engg. New receiver has not warranty and guaranty. I would like to have put my query, Is that true ? my receiver was upgraded recently 6-7 month back before . Is your product is that must in low quality and no warranty ?

          2) Are you charging / selling your product us against sale without any warranty and guaranty?

          3) Your service center strongly said to us. Receiver replacement will chargeable but without warranty or guaranty. Is that true?

          4) As a customer, please suggest me what to do for this type of services.

          5) Your service engineer is taking extra money @450/- for every visit and when we asking the cash received they told us, we will not have this type of receipt for customer. Please verify and confirm me. For your information Mr Badu Pawar is th service Engg.

          6) How long my problem will take time for solved.

          Please conform and replay all the query.

          Good Morning,

          Yesterday dated 15-Aug-2014 and @ time 08:46 P.M. from mobile no :[protected] . They had call us from Dish TV H.O. as per they said. and they had promised us our problem will resolved and also tolled us you are in right place ( mean me are in right place ).

          According to his promises whatever the part will changed by the service Engg. It will mentioned with serial no or parts no on receipt and also mention the guaranty period and charges.

          And also he was promised me you do not get any trouble any more in future .


          Today again I had call from your local Dish TV Service Center at @ 9:45 Am from Pune ( Guru Enterprises ) : According to his statement, they will not give us any mentioned ( parts no, Guaranty period ) on concerned Receipt. And Also they will charge parts amount with visit charges.

          So that I refused his offer because of whatever conversation with H.O's person had promised us. It showing some deference in both had statement.

          So Please guide us what to do.. to fixed this existing problem..

            Sir, I am Balan Nair my Dish TV VC No is [protected], I had a complaint regarding my setup box some days back for which one Mr Naveen came and replaced with one old and rusty setup box for which I paid 350+150. I have asked him to replace the setup box with another one for which he has promised to replace it if doesn't work, with in one week the setup box stopped working after complaint the same chap came and repaired it in my absence. It worked for one week and stopped working again. I complained to customer care they sent the same chap he repaired the setup box I asked him to replace the setup box he ignored it, after he left once again setup box stopped working .               My vc no. is [protected]Have been calling the customer care services of dish tv since today ealry morning and have been told that their system is not working, its 2 weeks now that no channels are coming but when its even a day delay of recharge they terminate the services immediately.but who is to take action against them now.My channels are not only not coming but now I do not have the list of them on my receiver..Wherever we are we have paid money and viewing the dish network.I have recharged my connection till 2015 and now getting no feedback.Presently I am in Iran and had brought my receiver so that I do not get homesick, I got the channels for one year very nicely and stopped getting them since 2 weeks now, have come to know hat the dish networked has weakened the beam for countries.But why such an irresponsible step, hav not we paid for our sevices.I request the concerned please do take the needful action.Thanking you Sonia Wadhwa

                My DISHTV VC No is [protected], Sir my setup box was not working properly, 15days back my setup box was replaced with old rusty box, I have objected for this but he promised to replace it if doesn't works for which I have paid 350+150, but with in one week setup box stopped working again I have complaint about it same person named Naveen came and adjusted the same setup box in my absence but with in one week the same problem faced again the same person came I requested to replace the setup box but now he is trying to avoid it, When I told him I will report it to your company he says that whatever u want to do it .(Now I am unable to see any channels ) My E mail ID [protected]@gmail.com Phone [protected]

                    My vc No [protected], and registered mobile no is [protected]- For last 4-5 Days dish tv showing either 302 Signal not found or 102 VC Deactivated although i got it recharged on 5th Aug.for last three days i have been calling customer care, first of all if one has to do more than 30-40 attempt to get connected with dish tv customer care, if at all i[censored] get connected u ll land up with one answer system being upgraded and unable to offer any help. Once in a blue moon i understand it happens, but it seems this is regular practice of dish TV customer care.

                        Sir, my vc no. is [protected] and all channels have gone, the receiver is not showing anything and it is very desperate.I had called the customer helpline today and a few channels that I was getting too have all gone.The lady tried but not able to solve the problem, its an year now I am in Iran and Ihave not faced any such problem, but since the last two weeks my channels started blackouting and ch. 999 too went out, many of the channels were not on the list but now I do not have anything showing on the reciever.I have paid the amount of more than a year as it is difficult to pay monthly from Iran.This was the only source of entertainment for us Indians here so that we do not get homesick, its a jeopardy, please do something to resume the channels.Thanking you.Sonia Wadhwa To let you know many of my friends too have the same problem.

                          I got my dish Tv installed on 08.12.2013 and VC nos. are [protected] and [protected]. After installation of 15 some days my bad days started. first they stopped showing some channels like colours etc. and after calling their poor customer care channels got started but again same problem because they are saving money by not showing channels. Along with this a new problem of set top box hang started again no resolution. along with this another problem of VC deactivated started though enough money in my account. for full one month plus i could not watch tv due to this and finally asked them to deactivate my connection because these people are worthless and in the market to earn money through cheating only. I would suggest not to buy Dish Tv if you want to watch Tv for entertainment and not for customer care calls. Also every body should read " THE DIRECT TO HOME BROADCASTING SERVICES (STANDARDS OF QUALITY OF SERVICE AND REDRESSAL OF GRIEVANCES) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 2009" law to understand how they are cheating.

                            To avail Pick by channel I recharged my account and had chosen accordingly. After recharge they say that my recharge is successful and I was given a token number. In their website they have put up that they' will call back on the RMN. But there was no call and the package did not activate. Rather it was only continuation of the current package. When I call up customer care I found they were less than informed about their services and could not resolve things.

                              I have a dish tv connection having vc no [protected]. Iam viewing super family pack in the above which cost 220/pm ..but every time when I recharge my vc no i have to pay Rs 250 instead of Rs 220.This cause financial hardship for me.also in this month channel no 121, 218, 574, 581, 591. are stopped.without any information. you are please reqested to look after the matter and provide me neccessary information. lam also planning for consumer court.

                              I am also a Dish TV subscriber and facing a lots of issues. One thing i want to tell you is Dish TV can not stop showing any channel without your permission as per the law. They have to inform you 15 days in advance and offer you a replacement channel of same language and genere and that too if you agree otherwise they have to return your monet for that particular channel. I claimed back Rs.232 from them. This is as per the Law called" THE DIRECT TO HOME BROADCASTING SERVICES (STANDARDS OF QUALITY OF SERVICE AND REDRESSAL OF GRIEVANCES) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 2009"

                                    Sir, I'm a regular dish tv subscriber.I made a dish tv recharge of FAMILY PACK for a duration of 1 year and was going to receive a bonus of 45 days.After the recharge my dealer got a successful recharge message of Family pack.But then I got a message of recharge successful of the GOLD pack for a duration of just 7 months.I've never made any request of such a change of pack.After calling dish tv customer care I could not get any positive response.Please help me... I want my subscription to be FAMILY PACK for 1 year with a bonus of 45 days because the change has been done without my knowledge.Hope for your kind co-operation.

                                      We purchased this dishtv a year ago. We are completely dissatisfied. When installed, they asked for extra money for wire whereas in building they could have connected through internal building connections. We paid some 2000 rs. Then, just three months after installation, our set-top box stopped working and technician said that the wire used for installation is fake and need another 2000 rs for new wire. After 3 days of fight, they come to an agreement where they waived off some 400 rs but rest was paid by us. This new wire connection did not last much. Guess what...the connection of wire was made unstable that with a small wind can take that knot of wires away. But customer care was begging for 200 rs technician and then technician said 400 rs for camera then 200 rs for connector...i had to just go with dishtv since i recharged recently. Had i not recharged, i would have donated this dishtv to a beggar Subhash Chandra as a gift/ souvenir from separated customer. No ways to resolve any fight. At last, you have to talk to very indecent customer care and helplessly pay or forget that you ever had dishtv. HELLO DISHTV, IF YOU ARE SERIOUS ABOUT THE ISSUES, PLEASE CHECK, MY A/C NUMBER IS [protected].

                                        We recently experienced very poor & unacceptable service issue with Dish TV. These people deactivated our connection.We recharged with some 6 months package.But still not able to view the channels. We can see 4-5 channels though.We checked the connection & everything is fine& in its place.Now dish TV service people say that their technician will visit our place & will try to identify the problem.Thus all these services will be chargeable.

                                        According to them problem would be due to dialignment in the antenna.

                                        Is this customers fault?? Should we pay forthis??

                                        Or this is company strategy to generate business this way from people???According to us the problem has been deliberately created from Dish Tv & now asking consumers to pay unnecessarily.

                                        We are very disappointed with DISH TV.

                                        I fully agree with u that Dish Tv deliberately generate problems to earn money. I am also facing the same from last 8 months. One thing i want to tell u is if your Set top box is under warranty you are not require to pay any charges for technician visit though they will ask you 200 bucks.

                                        As per the " THE DIRECT TO HOME BROADCASTING SERVICES (STANDARDS OF QUALITY OF SERVICE AND REDRESSAL OF
                                        GRIEVANCES) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 2009" customer is not required to pay a single paisa i[censored]nder warranty STB is not working even for technician visit.
