I have submitted complaint at dishtv website.......they says file your complaint we will call you now....but they didn't call since 4 days... I have submitted complaint 2 times...when I call them they deduct 10 rs for 2 min...whatever is complain they say only one thing...... ..that u have alaingment problem ( aapki dish ki chatri hill gaye hai kya aap technician chate hai)... that do u want technician ...............they are providing worst service ........

    Dish TV — CHANNEL SOUND IS NOT ENOUGH

    Dear Sir,

    I have complained more times about there is not enough sound on two channels which is I am getting through DISH TV STB. Actually this problem is facing almost all people. Although they are saying your STB is faulty. And I want I ask you, If STB is faulty how it will affect only two channels. Other thing How everybody STB become faulty. So the problem is coming only from DISH TV end. I hope you will look in this matter.

      I have opted for the base package of DISH TV that cost Rs 220 per month.And as per channels defined in the package it is mentioned that I will get SONY, ZEE News channels but I am not getting the same from last 2-3 Months.When I am making a complaint to Customer Care they are saying they will charge Rs 200 and will send a technician and he will make it available.

      My question to them is when I am paying for tthe package why I need to pay extra.

      This is really a worst service offered by them.

      Request if someone can help me on that.

      Dish TV — Less Subscription

      I had took two dish tv connections on 24th April 2009 under VC no. [protected] & [protected].

      At the time of new connections I have been informed by them that my services will go for twelve months & same it is written on Subscriber Application Form attached with this e-mail.

      It cleary shows 210 x 12 (210 for Gold pack for 12 months)

      Still my services are stopped by them in 9months & I contacted Dish TV customer care centre for this. They are misleading me from last one week instead of solving my problem.

      They also asked me they have activated some additional services on my account for which they deducted charges. And I was not informed by Dish TV for such services before activating nor they have any record for the same.

      This is a problem with every private companies like these.

      I request you to please look on this matter very seriously so that consumer cannot be made fooled by them.

      Dish TV — Very Less channels

      I am subscriber of Dish TV Silver package.
      I not able view all the channels that other viewers with the same package are able to do so.
      Till date I have not complained as I do not required so and at a time I can watch one channel.

      But now as the IPL is going on and I am unable to view it, so making the complain.
      Kindly activate the Sat max so that I can enjoy the matches.

        Hi - I've been using Dishtv since last 2 1/2 years with VC# [protected] (Nikhil Agrawal) and been using HD service (Monthly subscription fee of Rs. 460+). There has been issues but this time it was shocking to find out that water can flow down through the dish cable during rain.



        Today (19th Jul 2013) it rained very heavy in Bangalore and as usual dishtv channels were offline because of rain but after sometime, my set top box started showing very weird signs in it's display. Least did I know what is going to happen next when I started checking the same. I restarted the set top box and taken out the card, disconnected the power cable but nothing happened.



        Next I did disconnected all cables from it and took it out and all of a sudden I saw water coming out of one of the outlet. It was totally shocking since there is no water source near to these instrument. Slowly I realized that water is coming through the dishtv cable via steel wire in center of it.



        I called up Dishtv and complained about it but as usual Indian companies are very harsh in terms of customer care. So this customer care executive has suggested that we will have to buy new set top box by paying the amount for no fault of ours.



        I want to bring to your notice that this should be escalated to Dishtv and government since leaking water through dishtv cable is something unheard of and these companies might be giving low quality products to customers to make money. I understand that there is no alternative of this since Dishtv has to be in open sky so cables should be 100% water proof.



        Please help me to bring this notice to management of Dishtv and concern authority.

        Indian Railways — Bad behaviour of Ticket checking staff---Indian Railways

        I will like to draw attention towards bad behaviour of ticket checking staff of IR as stated below.

        Today on[protected] i was to helping my syster in law to board in train no 9005 -saurashtra mail at Jamnagar station and took her to coach no S-5, with open ticket fro Jamnagar to Okha .There were plenty of vecant seats in this coach and with open ticket there was only additionoal fare of resvervation charge was required to be paid, which my sister in law was going to pay when ticket checker asks her to do so.

        However as soon as we entered the coach no S-5, railway ticket cheecker (with heavy body) yelled from out side the window that we can not board in this coach without resevation.We explained him that passenger will pay addditional reservation charges and there are ample of empty seats in coach S-5.But ticket checker said no and forced us in another coach and misbehaved by talking in very rough manner and caused us lots of mental disturbance as there was not much time for train to depart as well as due to his bad behaviour with us.

        In above circumsstances my sister in law boarded in another coach and she was totally disturbrd due to bad behaviour of ticket checker as well as she could have missed the train in view of above stated circunstances.

        I will like Indian railways to go through in this matter, by finding out who was that ticket checker in coach no S-5 and take necessary actions against him in view of above stated case.

        I made private inquiry at Jamnagar railway station and have found out the name( i am not sure but probably) of ticket checker as Mr. V.Parmar, and was shocked to know that Mr Parmar is very famous for his bad behaviour every now and then with railway passengers

        I will like Indian Ralways to first to find out/confirm name of ticket checker in coach S-5 of train no 9005 at Jamnagar railway station(From mumbai to okha--train name--Saurashtra Mail)dated 1-1-2008 and carry out secret inquiry against this ticket checker for his famous misbehaviour with passengers and take proper actions against him as soon as possible, if found guilty.

        I m using service of dish tv since 1 year. From 06/12/08, I m not able to see some channels. For which I have registerd complaint at dish tv costumer care office on 08/12/08 (comp. No.[protected]. After that I have contacted many times to costumer care office, every time a new complaint no. is given to me along with 1 line assurance that our technician will come to your address with in 48 hrs. Approx 2 months have been passed but still no body came.
        please tell me what should i do.

        Last 20th April 2009 My father was going to New Delhi to Gonda Jn. from Satyagrah Express.
        He has booked a ticket from Internet (PNR No.[protected], Name: Wali Mohammed, Aged 55 years, Amount was Rs.251/- New Delhi to Gonda Jn., A ticket checker of Railway mis-behaved with my father, for the penality of ticket. He told to my father give the penality of Reserveration compartment, this ticket is not valid for Reserveration compartment therefore give the penality of 490/-. My father given him 490/- penality of ticket.

        Please give me right suggestion of this issue. I need my penality amount.

        And I wanted that the railway take the action of T.C. of this type mis-behaved to the pessanger.

        I will go to the police or court for this incident.

        I need all information about the ticket cheker. I have receipt of the Railway which receipt givem by him.

        Please give me right suggestion of this issue.

        Dish TV — DEFECTIVE DISH

        This dish tv and box was installed on 21.7.06. Since after the first installation there was continious problem and complaints were made to the agent in Lonavala Mr Naeem Mhate. He would come and adjust and charge Rs250/- to Rs500/- as visit fees.

        After a certain time he said that the DISH AND THE FITTINGS were defective and DISH TV has supplied you defective product and we should complain to DISH TV direct and if we wanted it repaired we have to pay Rs1500=00 along with visit fees extra.

        We have several times complained to DISH TV but there is no response.

        The product is defective. Dish is rusted.and other parts also defective

        I am using dishtv for last 1 year but now i am fraustrated and exreamly dissatisfied with dishtv services. i am going to throw it away in a gutter and move to TATA sky. The worst part is the dishtv website, most of the links on your website doesnot work. it took me 3 days to recharge because i was trying to use the website but i was getting error like - ' the page you are looking is removed'. none of the recharge option through the website is working. dishtv customer care is also worst in the market. i tried to call to customer care, for exisiting subscirber the system said my VC number is invalid, and there was no option to directly talk to the representative. somehow i managed to talk, but representative said website is working fine. am i a lair? please check all the links on website. somehow i recharged through sms using itz card, but when i sent message your server was busy, i tried 15 times in 3 hours and wasted 45 rs in sms just because the server was busy. it was really very irritating. i finally throw away my dishtv yesterday and i am going to take tata sky now. i know its not really going to make any differecnce to company but if they do not improve services they are going to loose many customers like me.

        Might be the case wioth you, I am also a dishtv subscriber and regularly using dishtv website for paying my subscription that is i always pay my subscription through dishtv website and never faced any problem it works quite nicely.

        Customer service is good in dishtv. Further it depends upon person to person experience as well but in general if we see its good in dishtv.

        Dish TV — worst service and worst packages

        i had dish tv last 1 year back but service is very worst in the world he show the add indias no 1 dth servise and indias 1st dth but now indias worst dth service and indias lower level dth packages, the packages price is very high and package validity is very worst and very low pls look at your package and services.

        I am also a dishtv subscriber for past more then 2 years and i would like to say that dishtv packages are best among all dth providers and also dishtv packages are most economical then any othe rdth provider packages.

        First dishtv provides you around 185 channels for just Rs.283+ tax/ per month, where as all other dth will provide you the same set of channels for more then Rs.400 like
        Sun direct you have to spend Rs.600+ / per month for the same channels
        Tata sky you have to spend Rs.480+/ per month for the same set of channels.
        BIGTV you have to spend Rs.430+/ per month for same set of channels
        and in Airtle also you have to spend Rs.400+/ per month for the same channels.

        Now tell which is more economical

        Further Validy of all dth is for one month.

        Also customer service of dishtv is good and better then other DTH provider.
        Frankly; just go to www.dishtv.in. Is that even a website?
        Where do I see what packages I have purchased? Where do I go to add more?

        If they only paid a fraction of what they pay Shah Rukh Khan; they can get a usable website. Right now it is not a website; it is just something designed by a schoolkid.

        Please look at TataSky and learn how to treat your customers.

        Didn't get my balance after recharge

        I recharged on 10th Feb 2015 with NEW SUPER FAMILY PACK of 3 months of Rs.690 In VC no. [protected].But i hadn't got any balance, recharged online using paytm application. This matter should be soon solved, its my request.

          i am really fed up from dish tv service provider. i applied online for dish tv connection, i made full online payment, and they commit they will install dish tv within 24 hours, after 36 hours i contact to dish tv support for the same and i request them to cancel my order due to your delay, they said we will charge 300 rs to refund the amount, what the hell this is ??? if company fail to install their product on time then why should i pay for this. i need the support all of the readers of this fourm and i urge to all of you that don't go for dish tv service provider.

          I take a silver pack of Rs 125 on dated 5th dec 2009 which validity period is 1 month so upto 5th jan 2010.
          but my complaint is after take the silver pack of Rs 125 on 5th dec 2009, it will show the due period on 26th dec 2009 instead of showing 5th jan 2010.
          so i request u to solvethis problem and plz inform me so i ever greatful to you.

            Dear Sir,

            DISH TV V/C No:[protected]


            This is complaint regarding the Zee DISH TV set up box which was replaced with the payment against my complaint . The service provider at Jalandhar City had replaced the Set up box with the old (refurbised) Set up box with the payment of 630/-and no bill is given to me as the excues that he will give on next day but till day no bill given, but i asked them to replace with the new one and after two hours it again malfunction and then technician came and replaced again the set up box when i asked Technician about the warranty and reply only one month . Then after 45 day my setup box is again malfunctioned and I called the DIST TV Call centre and they again asked that I had to pay the again to repair it but on the same day I asked them to this is fault due to old set up box which was replaced at my complaint.Then customer care executive asked me that they replaced the box on free of cost but i have to pay the Technician charge so I refused to pay them and they closed the complaint.
            Till date issue is not solved .

            DishTV — Dish box not working since two months

            I have requested so many times (two months)regarding dish box , that it is not working and if it is not repairable then requested to provide new box . But there is no resolution till date .             i had purshased a Samsung LCD TV with which i recieved a free setup of Dish tv Digital connection, i had made a call to the customer care on 27th March and requested for Setup they said it would be done in 24 to 48 hrs and since then it is being an ongoing issue and Frustartation, i have a brand new LCD but there is no cable connection i have made numerious phone calls to the customer care in [protected] and spoke on STD on [protected] and spoke to at least 20 different agents from Chennai they are hardly able to understand the issue and when you ask for supervisor you are never connect put on hold or hung up,this is the most pathetic service which i have come accross in my life just to get a connection active it is nearly 2 weeks and no one take any responsiblity not the customer care not the head of Dish TV in Andhra pradesh nor the Franchise owner that came to setup the connection, Mr RC venkateish should be ashamed of this kind or service provided i think there is any courtesy left please get my issue resolved i m also the refrence number request# 56411181

              V r faceing serious problem with dish tv HD connection, every weak ,v r not able to watch channels. After repeated complaint, some service man wil visit and ask us to some of other part to charge . V have changed dish anteena to new one paying 600.00rs ,after activation in a month period as per technician advice. But problem again same , later they changed STBOX ,( which is used one). Now again same problem.
              Plz kindly solve our complaint.

                off late i am getting lot of sms msgs from dish tv regarding their promotional campaigns and same msg is repeated 4 to 6 times daily I HAVE LOT OF OTHER IMPROTANT THINGS TO DO THAN TO READ AND DELEATE THESE MSGS i feel dish tv is intruding into my privacy and they hv no business to do this i am even contemplating to disconnect their connection for harassing me this way this is absolutely not acceptable to me i thought i inorm the others thru this media my anguish

                  I have my dish tv connection with RMN [protected] with VC No. [protected].I have enquired through your customer care center regarding reactivation of my service .At that side of call Mr. Manoj Kumar Attended my call dated 16thJune 2013 around time: 19:05 on my RMN and requested me to recharge with an amount of 250 Rs. with an offer to change my account from HD to SD and requested to avail that offer after recharging and calling again at Dish TV customer care center no. [protected].When I again call after getting recharged of 250 Rs. amount with transaction ID[protected] customer care representative Mr. Deepak Mishra(Time 19:40 pm) told me that there is no offer like this you will have to give separate request for the same.After refusing the offer previously told by previous customer care executive I requested to get talk with some senior fellow and complaint the same.At other side Mr. Deepak Kumar (Senior Executive) again refused for such an offer and also refused to repeat and confirm it with his call center executive.

                  I request you to please convert my service as per offer mentioned or other I will be bound to close my dish service connection and persui it with legal level and TRIA authorities with all damage cost at Dish Tv provider.

                  DishTV — Activation Customer Care Issue

                  I have purchased dishtv Last Saturday and installation of dish was done on Monday from Distributer SV Services, Bangalore and also they have collected my application form.

                  Still today my connection is not activated, when ever i call customer care they say your form has not reach us. If i contact SV service they say, have submitted the form.

                  I request user not to buy for DISHTV, as there service is very low standard, Call center and distributer very poor.

                  Plus Hidden cost what buyer need to pay is Cable cost, which they have given Rs.12 per meter, but distributer charge Rs.15 per meter.

                  No respond to the email also.

                  Pls...Pls... do not buy DISHTV

                  Dish TV — Pathetic service amounting to fraud

                  I had purchased a new dish tv connection with VC no [protected] on 07 Nov 07 with a 05 month maxi scheme. Within one month on 03 Dec i stopped recieving any signal. after several complaints starting with complaint no 10132415 on 03 dec and several telephonic calls to customer care, the complaint was resolved only on 03 Jan 08(after exactly one month of complaints and calls). at that time i was promised one month exemption for the aforesaid period by the call centre, the dish tv service technical head TN region.

                  on 31 mar 08 i registered my complaint for the exemption as my renewal date was on 06 Apr. Today is 10 Apr, despite several call and complaints i'm yet to recieve compensation for the loss of service.

                  VC No: [protected], Have purchased the system online and got installed after 3 days, for one day the connection was active, and they disconnected it, after continuous follow up for 5 days, and submitting the scanned copy of Subscriber Application form, and address proof, no action was taken yet. Every time we need to explain to the customer care about the problem, and even the senior managers will give the false promises. In my life I will neither purchase nor suggest for Dish tv dth or its products.

                  If any authority is looking into this, request them to take stringent action on them, I have all the proofs of hte follow up and mobile bill (500 rs wasted on follow up's).

                  They are No.1 in cheating. I was using a dish tv connection(VC No:[protected]) six months before, then changed to another operator because of the poor customer care service. After six months i have received a call from dish tv saying that i will be offered south platinum pack at a 50% offer, if i recharge with Rs.2100. I confirmed this offer by
                  (i)sending a email to the dish tv customer care; the reply from the customer care assured that i am eligible for the offer.
                  (ii) i have called the customer care number [protected]; and the customer care executive assured that i am eligible for the offer once i recharge with Rs.2100.
                  After confirming two times i recharged my account with Rs.2100.
                  ALAS! Now the customer executives says that i am not eligible for that offer. Please don't fall prey to the calls from the Dish tv. GOD... please punish the dish tv and its customer care executives if you are existing!!!

                    I am a consumer of Dish TV DTH services. They have a Super Gold plan to which I have subscribe and along with other channel list; specifically they Activate a Sports Channel whenever an India Match is there and whatsoever channel it is...and these cheater in this Champion Trophy Tournament did not activate the Start Sport/Star Cricket...and on complaining they say ...we have activated the Doordarshan and are showing the match on DD (Doordarshan)...My question, who are they to "Activate" the DD...even if I throw away their DTH box out of the window...the DD will still be shown on my TV...they are selling something which is available Free and provided by the Govt. of India to all its citizen.

                    Moreover, DD is allowed to show the match without any advertizement and with some delay in the relay (I have noticed 5 to 10 minutes or may me more than that) as compared to the LIVE telecast.

                    DISH TV / SERVICES — CHEATING BY DISH TV

                    MY ACCOUNT NO. IS [protected] AND I HAVE SUSCRIBED ON 11TH MARCH 09 FOR 30 DAYS @ RS. 265/- BUT ON 4TH APRIL DISH TV HAS STOPPED GIVING SERVICES . WHEN I CALLED THEM ON CALL CENTRE THEY REPLIED THAT THEY HAVE DEDUCTED SOME PENALTY FROM MY ACCOUNT WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE.MY COMPLAINT NO. WITH DISH TV IS 23256854 ON 4/4/09.

                    dishtv dth — service person cheating

                    I purchased dish tv set top box on 2months ago they give warranty 6months for instalation , But now no signals came, i talk to custemer care office,they told that its signal problem& send one service person,and he checked &told that its recever problem & receave rupees 250per checked but at purchase & custemer office no charges for any testing & working. lot of cheatings like these occur .

                      I complaint my problem at dish tv customer care, their representative came to my house and said my monoblock is damaged and need to be changed. He next day came to my house and charged 1140 rs without changing any part, and my problem still remain same after paying 1140 rs. Again i called to dish tv and told my problem now they are saying to change another part. Please look into my problem and solve it as soon as possible.

                        I have an Dish TV DTH Connection since last one year in my house at Badlapur.
                        In the month March 2013 suddenly Dish TVs is activated the Sport Pack on my Dish TV DTH connection and I launched the complaint many time but Dish TV customer care executive told me that this sport pack will be automatically stop after 90 days completed.

                        I want to know the what is the reason to Dish TV is not able to stop this Sport Pack on my Dish TV DTH connection.
                        I am not interested to watch any sports channel on my Dish TV DTH connection but Dish TV is not lessening my word from last three month.

                        I am getting loss of additional sports pack which is automatically Dish TV is deducting from my current recharge.

                        Hi,

                        I have recharge my dish tv account through netbanking on 9th July 2009 for GOLD package.
                        Though payment has been done on 9th July, my gold package is not activated fully.
                        Also as per my experiance with Dish TV, company is having worst customer care service.
                        If you call on customer care you can not make complaint or cant get any service support.
                        I think I have to go to consumer court against Dish TV.

                          I am trying to recharge my Dish TV DTH service for 6 months. but your website is not working. I have tried for 3 to 4 hours but sorry to say that your online recharege service is very poor, it is not working properly. kindly look into the matter. It is advised that if you have no care for your customers, you should shut down your business. It is competitive market you must know, people will not like for your poor service.

                          I have also recharged my dishtv connection through credit card and it works properly their is no problem in the site as you have mentioned that it was not working since last 6 months.

                          Also their are some more options available for recharge like ITZ cards, cash, cheque, DD and others if you are not able to recharge online try with ITZ cash cards. Also check with your IP and Internet service provider as well as the site was working properly.

                          Your customer care toll free no.[protected] is the worst no. which is never picked by the customer care executive. it is a mode of advertising your products/sub products checking the patience of the customer. every incidence wherein i was compelled to contact this number made me to hold the line atleast for 10-15 minutes and ultimately no executive attending to the call wasting my time and ultimately compelling me to decide about other alternatives. worst service theeeeeeeeeeee worst service i ever came across.

                          regarding my complaint about the availability of the services even after recharging the amount and abruptly stopping the service made me more angry. when contacted they give one or the other number and make me to run pillar to post without giving the solution or the path of solution. if this is the case, you may take back your set top box and the antenna or what ever the equipment provided by you deducting the channel charges and refund the balance amount so that i can choose atleast a little better service provider. Because, here we only listen to complaints but donot solve it. I hope this will be heard by some person in your organisation who pretends to be deaf. my vc no is :[protected]

                            DishTV,

                            I had applied online for a new DishTV connection on 1st May 2013, with a promise that the connection will be completed the same day. However, it was not completed that day, but a Connect India representative came to collect the installation amount (2250) from me on 2nd May.

                            Not to mention DishTV failed to keep this promise, they only came to complete the connection on 4th, only for the technician to tell me that the dish does not have a line of sight (LoS) connection due to building blocking the direction (Wireless Colony, Aundh, Pune) and that a connection will not be possible.

                            Now that the connection is not possible to be accomplished, I expected a full refund from DishTV for payment made against connection (which was never done!)

                            It would be worth mentioning here that till the time DishTV technician did not come for connection, I have received anywhere between 5-10 calls a day from your customer care asking/confirming various details.

                            Is the customer care drowsy now to call your customers after they have received payment or do they care less to return the amount? Needless to say, I have called umpteen times to customer care, talked to your so-called senior execs (Chandan, if you'd care to investigate). Like they do really care, have heard of false promises from them too that they will get back in "some time", "within 24 hrs", and so on!

                            Where is the action?? What the heck of work is this company doing when the customer care doesn't know whom to contact, seniors do not know how to get information regarding failed connections (they seem impossible--they cannot get connection history based on registered phone number--give me a break!!)

                            For your information which seems to be negligible, the following information would be useful to investigate:

If this is not done within 24 hours, I am on heels to submit a request to the CONSUMER COURT, not to mention also claim harassment to customers. If I do not receive a response from your side within 10-12 hours, I will consider this case to be neglected from your side and will go ahead with complain to consumer court. I hope this should be sufficient to get you to action.

                            Not to mention, I will never ever in my life think of opting for DishTV connection even if it is the last one left on Earth!

                            Dish TV — Never buy Dish TV connection

                            I had bought Dish TV connection almost a year back. It turned out to be complete disaster. It lost it signals because of wind. i made a call to their call centre and put a request to get it up.I was advised that it would cost 170 Rs and they would send an engineer to reinstall the disk.i waited for two days but there was no responce and they kept promising me that engineer would come. After a week they gave me the number of the local guy who again made false promises and never turned up. My dad called and spoke to this guy and to my surprise he started abusing him. I lost all trust and realised that this is one of those companies who only believe in hiring big star to sell product but has no interest in serving existing clients.i got my connection done through local cable walla who is much helpful. Dish TV instrument is lying at my place and it was a complete waste of money. i request to take an action against this fraud company and arrange a refund of my money.Dish TV sucks.

                              It has raised the price of all its packages and at the same time are offering Special Offers of annual payment(see images)

                              dish tv suddenly decides to yank off cnn ibn, cnn awaz, cnbc tv 18 from its maxi package despite me having paid a full years subscription, can this be done and is there any redressal to this grievance
                              I am also facing the same problem. I am a Maxi Plan subscriber and CNBC TV 18, CNBC Awaaz, and CNN IBN have been yanked off air.

                              Dish TV is doing something that is illegal and should be sued in the court of law. I am planning to file a complaint with the consumer court.

                              Dish TV — Misleading/Incorrect Information

                              Dear Sir,

                              I'm really frustrated with the information provided by the customer service executive of DISH TV.
                              They have already wasted full two days time of me and consistently providing me incorrect information.
                              I had applied for a new connection through their website www.dishtv.in by my credit card.
                              Now few of their customer support executive say that 9762 is not my token no. and the customer service executive from the head office say 19762 is indeed my token no.

                              Please let me know the procedure how to file a consumer case and also let me know if a police case can be filed for providing wrong information to the customer and misguiding him.

                              DishTV — Bad Service and Incorrect Information

                              Hi,

                              This is Harshit Shukla from Ghaziabad.... I am a DISHTV user since 2006 and in Nov'2010 I applied for the multiconnection and got the second connection installed on 5th Nov 2010.... After that I've to call them atleast once in a week for some problem.. Today morning i.e on 21st Nov 2010 they deactivated my Neo Sports package without informing me. I called the customer care no. and the agent told me that it will get activated in couple of hours and when I asked for the reason he was speechless, as there was no reason.. After waiting for more than 2 hrs I called up again and then a lady picked up the phone and told me the same story and asked me to wait for another 2 hrs. Before this incident when I asked them to activate Neo on my new connection they didn't take any action and I've call atleast 5 or 6 times for the same.. The main problem is that they are not giving any permanent solution and every agent you speak to he/she will tell you a different story.. My last complaint no. is 49479033 on 21st Nov 2010.. They keep you on hold for no reason and the customer service people are very bad and rude.. In the 1st week of Nov I called up and I was complaining about the bad customer service but the agent found it difficult to handle and he disconnected the line.. Very bad customer service.. I want a strict action against them....

                              Dish TV — misleading

                              I had made an complaint and request to down grade the pack on 15.01.11
                              I recharge my dish tv on 18.01.11 but when i check my next renewal date it is according to platinum pack my older pack not according to my resquest to activate suilver saver pack.
                              When i contact the costmer care they said your platinum pack is still active by mistake and we will down grade ur pack from today. but they r not settling the amount according to the silver pack when i had acivated on 15.01.11 its not my mistake that u still giving me the older pack
                              I[censored] r not enough sufficent to do downgrading the pack why not customer have the right to down grade or upgrade there respective package without making any calla to customer care or any where else

                              Dish TV — MISLEADING CUSTOMERS

                              I had called DISH TV customer service enquiring about whether there was an option to upgrade my Dish TV Connection to HD.

                              I was told that the upgrade option would cost around Rs. 3200, against which I would get an upgrade discount of Rs. 400 & 2 months subscription worth Rs. 550 per month. I was also informed that the balance in my account would get transferred to the HD account.

                              When I enquired about the online option which was only Rs. 1290, I was told that for this option, I would not get any upgrade discount or free subscription, but the balance in my account would be transferred to the HD account and I needed to inform the person who came to do the installation to mention my existing VC No on the form. It was after this that I booked the connection online and made the payment.

                              Incidentally after this I also received a call from DISH TV customer service, asking me whether I was interested in making a purchase and whether I had made the payment online. I informed them that I had already made the payment online. They also reconfirmed the same that the balance in my account would be transferred to the new HD account.

                              The next morning I received a call to fix the installation time. At that time when I asked whether the balance would get transferred I was informed that it would not be done. I called the customer service who also told me that the balance would not get transferred and asked me to make a complaint.

                              I have been making complaints by email and on phone repeatedly including marking a copy to the nodal officer, but have not received any reply.

                                Hello Team,

                                I am not getting how to greet you people. It’s not almost 1week and u people horrible experienced. I don’t know what is going to be next. But you people give me a REASONS that why not to go for DISH TV. Definitely soon I would like to switch over to another provider.

                                On 23rd I order Dish TV Plus online from comparedth.com. On 24th Friday they installed it around 4pm and told that within an hour your pack will be got activated. After giving them call again and again they didn’t activate my pack. On 25th i called up again and again and finally in evening they activate my pack. On 27th the local distributor told me that they installed the wrong person’s Dish to our home and our Dish TV goes somewhere else. I said it’s okay, it happens with human error but he promise to change that on the very next day. Its 1week now but no one bothers to change that set-of-box.
                                You people are really making pain in my ash because my packed is of 320 and the set-of-box I got of other person activated the pack of 220. So the thing is I am paying High and getting the less benefit. Today I call the person who installed the connection and explain the issue in reply he laugh’s saying how this thing happens? After making such mistakes I am expecting solutions rather than blah blah…

                                I know you don’t have a work than sorry. Ultimately I suffered and I am in loss.

                                Online people told me that they will provide 1000 vacational offer free with this but I didn’t get that also. Total disaster… see that if Fig-1

                                Dish TV — Wrong Activation

                                Dish TV Complaint Ref # 17597956

                                Had gone for Hindi & Panjabi Maxi Plan for 12 months. Paid Rs.3990/- thru credit card from Singh Electornics, Kanpur Road, Lucknow. Lucknow dealer, Lucknow Dish Care Centre, Husainganj,
                                whose Incharge is Anil Kapoor, had wrongly activated my account for 3 months only. Every month my connection is disconnected due to this. Calling / Mailing Dishcare for the last 7 months have not helped... instead when pursued each month Anil Kapoor recharges my account for further 1 month. He agrees that our A/c was wronly activated.

                                It is better for Dish TV to stop its Customer care service as they are good for nothing... I have documentary proof and mails and replies from them prooving this.
                                I have purchased a connection of dishtv(id number [protected]) from monday. But untill now I couldnt watch it. They have done some wrong installation. I contacted Noida customer centre and in Lucknow as well. But they are not ready to send a technition to check it.

                                I contacted a person in Lucknow dealer Mr Anoop, he was telling it will ok but I am waiting for last 3 days, nothing happend. Now I am going to disconnect the conection.

                                Who cares. They are getting salary on time

                                  I am Amit Kumar ([protected]), subscriber of Dish Tv since 2005. This an incident I am posting which was experienced by me because o[censored]ntrained and incomplete knowledge of Dish Tv customer care team.

                                  Before proceeding let me bring to your notice that DTH services are just like prepaid mobile connection i.e pay for your package and enjoy the TV viewing.

                                  I am not able to view TV from past 10 days as I was misguided and provided with wrong information from Dish Tv customer care team that for the conversion of your normal Set Top Box (STB) to HD STB I need to pay only Rs. 1190 (Activation Charges) and Rs. 250 for the Package Charges in which you can enjoy the services for 3 months without any deactivation with my existing platinium package.

                                  We have made a payment of Rs. 380/- on 9th Feb and 10th Feb 2013 given a request for change of STB to HD STB at this time our current account balance was Rs. 330 /-. HD STB with Package was activated on 11th Feb after installation by their executive called Mr. Raju ([protected]) after making the payment of Rs. 1190/- (Activation Charges) & Rs. 250 /- (package charge) also balance amout of Rs. 300/- was carry forwarded to our account. Their service engineering has charged us Rs. 100/- unnecessary asking as a Token Money due to which I believe Dish Tv does not have enough funds after cutting the pocket of customer to pay salary of their employees. At this time our account balance was Rs. 330 and as per above payment made by us we were informed by their service engineer also that we will get 3 months of subscription with our existing package. Also, we were able to see the same information with our account balance also that we have received your payment and your next recharge date is 13th May 2013. Finally the connections gets de-activated of 13th May. Post this we again re-charged with Rs. 400 and connection was not activated due to which we called up customer care and we were surprised to know that last out standing was Rs. 1450 /- for which payment of Rs. 400 was adjusted and we need to make another payment of Rs. 1050/-. Now, as I mentioned above dish tv is like a prepaid mobile connection and if our account was getting debited day by day why the connection was not deactivated and we were not informed. No. 2 as per dish tv policy connection was suppose to be disconnected from the day our balance was in negative.

                                  I have written 4-5 feedback to their CEO Mr. Venkatesh for which he has assigned this case to his customer care team Mr. Gaurav Sharma, Ms. Nida and to some other departments but still no action taken by them for the Executive and service engineer (Mr. Raju) who has made a wrog commitment to us that we will get 3 months subscription without any de-activation.

                                  Also, as per their billing we dont know wether the executive we spoke at the time of given request for conversion from normal STB to HD STB has lied to us or the executive to whom we have spoken after writing to their CEO has lied. Their no co-ordination between their team since all executives will narrate different story and also they does not have a good customer support team who is ready to help customer.

                                  I seek your kind support and help on above issue.

                                  Dish TV — Not installing dish 4 days after full payment

                                  I purchased Dish tv Maxi package from PANVEL outlet RAMESHWAR. After full payment he told me that he will install the dish in only 2 HOURS anc activate within ONE HOUR. But after FOUR DAYS he has not sent the mechanic for installation. So please send the man for installation as early as possible.

                                  Dish TV — Pre paid money not returned

                                  I bought a Dish Tv connection one year back.It was working fine initially.after 6 months i prepaid the subscribtion amount 2000 for the next 6 months.after one month i requested the service center people to move the connection to upstairs .service center guy informed the setup box mother board has been condemned by water.God only knows how water entered into the device.

                                  Service center suggested to buy a new box.Dish tv not ready to give a new box and at the same time they ask me to get a new connection(rs 4000 ) .I lost my prepaid amount 2000 at the same time.I asked the customer care about the prepaid amount.No aswer for me...

                                  Dish TV — Billing

                                  On 6th April 2009, I received an sms from ad-dishtv regarding subscription to movie channels like Bindass TV and UTV. I opted to suscribe it by sending the sms. However, the return sms read that charges of Rs.35/- per month plus service tax will be deducted from 1st February 2009. I want to know that if I have opted to subscribe to these channels from 6th April, 2009 why should charges be deducted from 1st February 2009. Further, I am not getting channels like CNN-IBN, CNBC, etc. What is the reason for this.

                                  Our Dist TV - VC No. is 0-[protected] in the name of Arunima Bhalla We had paid Rs. 500/- dt on 7 July 09 to recharge my Account. But their is no activation of channels ( specally Star Channels).

                                  Tried many time customer care No.[protected],[protected] to lodge the complaint for the same. But but the automated answering machines says this VC No. and mobile number ([protected]) is wrong, although VC number is provided by the company and getting Aleart massages on same number.


                                  Kindly help me out in this regards and lodge a complaint against Dist TV.

                                  My VC No.[protected]. I made a online payment of Rs.250/- for recharge of my dish TV account on 14.10.2009 (8.38am). Actually it went like this-
                                  I opened the website www.dishtv.in
                                  I selected to make online payment.
                                  I selected to make the payment through normal ITZ cash card.
                                  Then there came four choice of Dish TV Gold Pack (Rs.250/- was the minimum option).
                                  I chose the Rs.250/- option and entered the account number and password for ITZ cash card.
                                  Rs.250/- was debited from my ITZ Cash card and I started waiting for SMS from dish TV.
                                  After waiting for more than 12hours I found that there was neither SMS from Dish TV nor the Dish TV gold pack service started working.
                                  Then I called Dish TV customer care, but they refused to help and said that they had not received the payment. The Dish TV customer care representative asked me to recharge again.
                                  Then I checked the ITZ cash card report and found that the payment was made to Sugal & Damani Utility Services (P) Ltd.
                                  I posted a complaint to Sugal & Damani Utility Services (P) Ltd for recharging Dish TV account, to ITZ cash card company to look into the matter and return my money and to dish TV service provider for rechecking the payment made. But no one is responding properly and no one giving me any idea about the payment made.
                                  Waiting for help!

                                  Dish TV — Pre-paid setup box not delivered

                                  I ordered a dish Tv on 22nd march 2010 and same day i got a call from customer service that setup box will be delevered to my addres within 24 Hrs and Distributor who is responcible for installation was mentioned, my concern is till March 31st i have not recieved my setup box after repeated calling and email to customer service has no responce, even i requested to refund the money if they are not interested in selling the product which too has no responce

                                  Dish TV — No connection 2 yrs after paying

                                  I had ordered Dish TV connection for my home in October 2008 online. Someone came to install the set top box and charged Rs 2000 ( Rs 1999 to be precise which was an ongoing offer price at the time). He handed over a tiny bill which said Hi-Marketing Services with an Anna Nagar, Chennai address. He said we will be able to view the channels in a few hours. Thats it. Its close to two years we have yet to receive a connection. We have called Dish TV may be a million times and they have called us back a million times but still no connection. Surely a brand endorsed by none other than SRK would have some standards, don't you agree? We have given up and moved on to sweet TATA SKY.They are the best, truly.

                                  Dish TV — Non Activation of Subscription after payment

                                  I have paid Rs 2408 to Dish TV India Ltd on 27.10.2011 at 22:10 hrs against my VC No [protected] thru an IVR Menu.
                                  I was advised that my account would be reactivated in 2 hrs time.

                                  My Credit Card account with SBI has been debited and I have received the confirmation from them as an sms alert.

                                  However, even after 18 hrs, my subject DISH TV account has not been reactivated.

                                  This is a gross deficiency of service.

                                  DishTV — Salary

                                  I was working with dishv in sec 58 Noida from september 26, 2011 to nov 4, 2011, and i had some salary disputes with the company, so i asked them the policy to resign, they told me that if i resign i would not be paid anything, i asked them the reason behind that, they told me that i have completed their training but as i am leaving so i am no good employee to them and that's why they will not pay me anything...



                                  I just want to ask that i gave my whole 40 to 45 days to such company and is their any way i can get my salary for these days. They have not paid me anything yet.

                                    I just bought a 5oo GB hard disk to use recording feature but the time shift feature as advertised by dish TV does not work with hard disk
                                    and got a very rude response from their customer care below is the email I sent to them for which I got no response.


                                    I Mahesh Chandra have your dishtru HD connection [protected]


                                    and recently connected my WD 500 Gb Hard disk to your STB

                                    but the timeshift function (to pause live TV) is not working on it

                                    it was working on a 16 Gb USB flash drive.


                                    On contacting your customer care no regarding this

                                    some mr Ramesh kumar first told that pausing live tv is not possible on your STB

                                    and on insisting that you advertise that timeshift on your site I was told that your STB

                                    does not support HARD DISK drives


                                    both of these things are advertised on your official internet site


                                    I would like you to either remove those false advertisements

                                    DishTV — False Advertising

                                    DishTV on its website says India Cricket Pack subscribers automatically switches on the channel in which team Indias series will be telecast live. But the matches of Australia vs India at Melbourne (D/N), 1st Match, Feb 05 2012 &
                                    India vs Sri Lanka at Perth, 2nd Match, Feb 08, 2012 which were telecasted LIVE on STAR Cricket channel at no.659 were blocked by DishTV and instead told to switch on channel no.655 in which Doordarshan was giving live feed. This is nothing but false advertising by DishTV.

                                      May I appeal to all of you, dish tv is a big cheater in india and after recharging for one year they removed many of the channels from the package. When we ask about that they have a right remove any channels any time as per their terms and conditions. I dont really understand how come they can do this....we have rights to watch the chennels which we like....if they remove those channels how can we watch other channels which we dont lke....If we ask for refund they are threatening people that they wont give refund....go to hell like that....its fat of any consumer in india

                                      Really Dish TV is Big Cheater - They making people Fool to Advertise Ad : Life Time Free 70 Channels.
                                      They stopped Remote key without recharge . Neither you watch FTA Channels(DD & Zee )
                                      Ministry of Information &amp; Broadcasting should take necessary action against Dishtv who is cheating people
                                      Worst service. They changes packs very frequently and will force you to pay high. Customercare can't solve a single problem. They assures for a callback at a later time. But that never happens. Don't take Dish TV.

                                        I tried to recharge my dishtv account (Details mentioned below) through the Dishtv.in website. However, after I entered my credentials on my net banking website, before I could get redirected back to dishtv website, a connection timeout error occured. However, the amount was deducted from my bank account. I raised this concern with both dishtv and paytm, as paytm is the gateway used by dishtv.in. Dishtv keeps asking me for the paytm order id which I didn't receive and are saying that they will not refund my money without it. When I checked with paytm about the same, they are not even responding back to my emails. I have provided my bank statement to both of them and all the other related details. It has already been 10 days and yet no action has been taken by either of them.

                                        We want to renw our annual subcription which terminated on 19th February 2009
                                        We made a complaint to customer care but they have not responded
                                        Why should acompany advertise of online payment and web services when they cannot maitain it
