DishTV,
I had applied online for a new DishTV connection on 1st May 2013, with a promise that the connection will be completed the same day. However, it was not completed that day, but a Connect India representative came to collect the installation amount (2250) from me on 2nd May.
Not to mention DishTV failed to keep this promise, they only came to complete the connection on 4th, only for the technician to tell me that the dish does not have a line of sight (LoS) connection due to building blocking the direction (Wireless Colony, Aundh, Pune) and that a connection will not be possible.
Now that the connection is not possible to be accomplished, I expected a full refund from DishTV for payment made against connection (which was never done!)
It would be worth mentioning here that till the time DishTV technician did not come for connection, I have received anywhere between 5-10 calls a day from your customer care asking/confirming various details.
Is the customer care drowsy now to call your customers after they have received payment or do they care less to return the amount? Needless to say, I have called umpteen times to customer care, talked to your so-called senior execs (Chandan, if you'd care to investigate). Like they do really care, have heard of false promises from them too that they will get back in "some time", "within 24 hrs", and so on!
Where is the action?? What the heck of work is this company doing when the customer care doesn't know whom to contact, seniors do not know how to get information regarding failed connections (they seem impossible--they cannot get connection history based on registered phone number--give me a break!!)

Claim: I want complete refund on of amount 2250 (Two thousand two hundred fifty) along with interest proportionate to the delay made by DishTV (starting 4th May) in CASH (it is not inappropriate to quote this as payment was accepted in CASH only). If this is not done within 24 hours, I am on heels to submit a request to the CONSUMER COURT, not to mention also claim harassment to customers. If I do not receive a response from your side within 10-12 hours, I will consider this case to be neglected from your side and will go ahead with complain to consumer court. I hope this should be sufficient to get you to action.
Not to mention, I will never ever in my life think of opting for DishTV connection even if it is the last one left on Earth!
