i subscribed airteldishtv (Customer ID [protected])at home on 17th August,2011. and has been using it. From the very day picture and image has complaint and they changed the settopbox. Many times complained and not fixed proper yet. 2 week before it was fully out. No picture and when complained to their regional office, they told it was of bad climate. In Chennai no such bad climate..it shows the error as D001.
But they are deducting amount as usage charges.
I don't know where to contact..all the numbers, we are contacting are now non responsive... not attending calls..([protected],[protected], [protected])
Help me to find remedy

    I booked online connection of dishtv on 9th of nov. My token no. Is 187013. Before booking I called CC and they told me that it would be installed 5th day. But 8 days already passed and there not even a single call from them. They are just making fool of people. If they dont have enough resources and technicians, they should stop online booking or they should tell customers exact time it would take to install the stb. I called CC several times but I din’t get anything else than
    just few fixed words. They always say that it would be install today till evening or tomorrow morning for sure. But their evening or moning didn’t come yet.

    I mailed to nodal officer ([protected]@dishtv.In) as well but there is no response. Its like they are just concerned making more and more money by telling lies and making
    people fool.

    On top of that there is no appellete authority to escalate the issue further. They are just harassing customers.

    I can't understand why govt gives them licence if they can't provide services to the customers??? it looks like govt got a big bribe for this digitization from such big companies.
    Otherwise there is no reason behind imposing this digitization on customers like this. Customer is suffering from everyside. Cable tv is stopped and these big companies are harassing customers even when customers have already paid to them.

    I trusted because of the name “zee network” associated with it. Please let me know the procedure to get my money back.

    Dish TV — No installation even after 5 days

    Hi,
    I got a new Samsung 40 inches LCD TV on 27/3/2011. I got a free Dish Tv connection with that. I called up DishTV on 28/3/2011 at around 7.30AM and got registered.
    It is 5 days now and no one has bothered to call up and come for the installation. I have made more than 20 calls in the last 5 days to Dish TV customer care and they just say some one will come today, tomorrow etc.. I am totally fed up calling them so many times just to get the connection. My complaint number is 56434273.
    I got the TV to watch the world cup matches and now i couldnt do it because of Dish TV. I request to please file a consumer complaint on them.
    I request the consumers to never go in with Dish TV for its pathetic service!
    Samsung, please stop ur collaboration with Dish TV, if this is the case people will stop buying ur TV.

    I have the same problem.All i get is fake assurance.
    I am still waiting for my dishtv connection. I am tired calling customer care. They just repeat fixed words "we understand your problem", "your installation would be done soon". But they dont know how soon? even after 11 days they are not sure about how much time it will take. This is really so annoying and irritating. Can anyone help???

      Sir,
      I purchased Dish TV on 05 nov. 2012 in Rs.1690 with VC no. [protected]. I was told by the distributor and the installation engineer about the service pack of Super Platinum(Rs. 380 per month) free for two months alongwith the purchase.
      But they did not meet their commitment and deceivingly they provided me with the Super Gold Pack (Rs.255 per month). I made a complaint for the same on 14 nov. 2012 in the customer care of Dish TV and received complaint no.[protected] and was told that my complaint will be resolved within two hours.
      More than two days have passed but I did not get any response from dish TV.I want to lodge a complaint against dish TV in consumer forum for such fraudulent offers and cheating common man.

      Dish TV — Fraud and Cheating

      Hi,
      I am dish TV subscriber for last 2 years and have4 connections at my home .
      I have taken one parent VC no : [protected] and 3 child connections all in MAxi package .
      Had always lotz of problems with payment and channel viewing.
      had called many times to customer care and received very negative response form them.
      But this time it has reached its limit.
      i had paid for 6 monthly subcription for all the 4 Vs no of Rs 4995.All maxi connection including Colours.
      Last week except for parent all child conenction channels like star one, Etv marathi were blocked.
      When contacted customer care they told now they have stoped maxi connection on chid VC.
      So either i have to pay extra for those channenls or convert them into child.
      When i had taken connection parent fees is 337 and child is 174.
      Now they say for child also 337.
      Thsi is fraud from Dish TV, as they cant change my package in middle of my subscription.
      and when asked for the termination and set top box.i got a rude reply that those are your property and do whatever with them.
      I have 4 set top box and 2 antennas.I wish i could throw at their heads.
      If i had to take the connectin with the same amount i would have gone for other like tata sky and all .
      I am having 4 connections of Dish TV and still they Traet the customer as if they are doing some favour .
      The call centre floor supervisor was Aparna .
      I Want the child connections to be working with same Maxi packlage and 50 % subscription fees.Or terminate my service and take back the dish antenna andset top box and pay me .
      Kinldy look iinto this matter or else i have to go to consumer court.

      Dish TV — Cheat/Fraud

      I am an existing customer of Dish Tv using an platinum package for past 3 years and I wanted an additional Child connection on my bedroom and for the same I contacted dish tv customer care and placed an order and they send me a technician on 12/07/10.

      Now when I wanted to recharge I came to know that the connection they have installed was not child connection and so now I have to pay monthly charge of 325 Rs where for the child connection ( additional connection) it is just 160 Rs.

      I told customer care that i booked a child connection and the monthly charge is 160 Rs and u are the people who send technician and now how u can say its not a child connection and I am also having a proof of it (application form).They have no answer other then " our system is in update ,pls call tomorrow "

      My connection is Off now ,they have taken a installion charges of 1735 Rs
      So inshort Dish Tv is a big fraud company ,What they promote or say is to cheat people.

      I hereby request to all people pls be-aware and cautious when u want a dishtv connection.

        I happened to purchase a Dish TV connection. At the time of booking the company confirmed installation within 48 hours and after booking,changed the time to 120 hrs. the company deactivated the service after three days(demo period). when complained it said, it did not get the installation docs from it's dealer.even after reminders, requests and three days nothing changed. No response from the company. not able to contact any of the customer care numbers as they are always busy or whatever may be the reason. Such companies sell connections giving wrong commitments. they do not respond to repeated requests and complaints. very bad experience with them. cheating company. please beware of the comapny

        DishTV — Irresponsible service and cheating by DishTV

        This is with reference to the Irresponsible service and cheating by DishTV. I am a Dish TV customer (VC no. [protected]). 2 weeks ago all the HD channels on my DishTV stopped working (showing error 301 – Signal not found)
        When reported to Dish TV customer care on Jun 16th (ref. no[protected] I got a message that technician named KULDEEP (ph.no. [protected]) will visit my home to resolve the issue. The technician after investigating, asked me to keep my DishTV STB ‘ON’ in order to get the channels refreshed from the backend. On doing so still the HD channels were not working.
        I again logged a complaint on june 19th (ref. no.[protected], for which I did not get any assistance instead got a message on June 20th stating “Your DishTV complaint no. 61822805 is resolved. We hope you are satisfied with the resolution.”
        I again logged a complaint on june 22nd (ref. no.[protected], for which I did not get any assistance instead got a message on June 23rd stating “Your DishTV complaint no. 62108981 is resolved. We hope you are satisfied with the resolution.”
        Again after multiple phone calls to DISH TV customer care a new complaint was logged on June 26th (ref. no.[protected] and post this I got a message saying that my dish TV complaint will be attended by SUKESH on June 26 @ 10:19 p.m. No one came to my house to attend the complaint and I am still facing the issue.
        It is very disappointing & irritating that NO ONE IN DISHTV organization, cares for the customer satisfaction.
        I want an immediate redressal to this issue and want a wavier for HD channel pack.

          This is a complain regarding the poor and apathetic service of Dish TV. I have raise d a complain for alignment problem for my VC number -[protected] on 4th Nov 2012, but even after 10 days there has been no technician visit or resolve of the problem . Each time after a hold period of 15-20 mins the call is transferred to an equally lost supervisor who just says that they are unable to send a technician. When I ask them to allow me to change my service provider and switch to a different brand they are not ready to refund me the money that is stuck in the account.
          Need help because no -one from the company is ready to help me in this case and I am stuck with no connection at this point of time for the past 10 days.
          DISH TV is the worst service provider in DTH in INDIA.

            my name is deepen,I have booked one DISH TV DTH connection from online on 03rd NOV,as per there commitment it ll take 3 - 5 days to install the same, but still it is not been installed.

            on the other hand I put several complaint to cc dept to install the connection but still they are not taking it seriously.Everyday they are doing fake commitment.

            please take necessary action.

            Dish tv connection — not installed

            Hi,
            I puchased my dish tv connection with v.c. no as[protected].
            I made a call to customer care for its installation. They told me that it will be insatlled soon.
            now whenever i call them they say that it will be installed within 24 to 48 hours.
            But 20 days have past and nothing happened.

            i am so much frustated with their service that i want to sue them in the court.

            Please guide me for the same.

              मैंने एक डीशटीवी (टोकन न. 184193) कनेक्शन पिछले आठ दिन पहले आनलाइन खरीदा लेकिन आज तक वह कनेक्शन मेरे यहां पर नहीं लगाया गया। जबकि खरीदते वक्त ग्राहक सेवा अधिकारी ने बताया कि यह पांच दिन में लग जाएगा। लेकिन ऐसा नहीं हुआ। बार—बार फोन करने के बावजूद वह कोई संतोषजनक उत्तर नहीं दे रहे हैं और न ही मेरे पैसे मुझे वापस लौटा रहे हैं। मेरी मदद की जाए।

                Hi Friend

                Please don't buy Dish TV!!! Because i bought two Dish TV connection earlier after see their brochure. After two or three days they were cut few channels including "Life OK" which is my fav. channel. When i called to customer care of Dish TV, They told me that those cut channels are preview channels and available for three days but they not mentioned this fact into their brochure & they were asking to pay 25rs. more to see "Life OK" along with 200rs.(Total 225rs.) and for other channels they were asking for more pay. This is cheating with the customers. They should have to write this into their brochure. Its a cheating & I'm very disappointing with them.

                Dish TV - Very big cheaters.

                I'm suggesting you, Please don't buy Dish TV...!!!

                  Dear Sir / Madam,

                  I have booked DIST TV online by paying Rs 990/- on[protected].

                  After 3 Days I got call from[protected] that installation done or not even non of come to install. after 5 days again I got call from[protected] regarding installation.
                  Lastly I got call from [protected] that they are coming to install Dish on[protected] but non of came.
                  Now today I called[protected] to check status of my Dish TV but not get any perfect answer for Dish Installation.
                  I don't know why they are taking so long time.

                  Looking to their services I wish to inform general people not to choose Dist TV.

                  I will share my Token No and Mobile number once I got my Dish because I know that Dish TV company may intentionally delay after watching this post.

                  For Dish I prefer TATA SKY Services on top priority.

                  Any body from DISH TV reading this post can help me.

                    I have booked online a Dish TV set top box with recorder on 3rd Nov'2012 and paid Rs.990/-. After the payment a confirmation mail received from dish TV customer care and they allot me a token no.175425 and the delivery time is mention is 24 hour.

                    Still i did not received the product, i regularly followup with customer care they always commit that the product and installation will be done by today. around 8 days pass away i have not received the product.

                          This is bring to inform you that My name is Manoj Bhardwaj and my VC no is - [protected], and from 5th of Nov 2012 i m not getting your service, then i called to your customer care and they raise a complaint for it, complaint no is - com[protected], 05-11-12, 09:41 am, they provide me 24 hrs TAT, now just calcute the time already more then 100 hour's has been pased after completing 24 hour's, but my problam is not resolve, i called to your customer care so many time, and atliest 300/ wast to talking with your team but my issue is not reseolve, everytime i m getting some tat which is some hour's, but no any responce from your side, you can check my detail, today from customer care side some associate e.g- Nidhi and vikrant when i ask to transfer my call to your superwiser then they reply me they are busy and he give a socirty to call back arrange within 15 min but i have not recive any call from your end, your one agent from backend team Mr. Dinesh drop my call, if you have recurding then please check, again i called to your customer care then i talk to Mr. Vasem and he again ask for more time so let me know is it customer service you pepole are provide me only wrong comutiment,

                          From last 5 days i m not getting your service and more then 300 rs use for calling to customer care, Who will Pay...?

                          In a very short i have seen you dont have capacity to provide service to the customer so in that case due to this reasion cut my cunaction and return my money, so i can take other service provided who can provide batter service.

                            i had applied for a connection from Dish tv on june 11 th via online payment with a promise that they will get the product delivered and installed on june 12 however this did not happen
                            When i contatced their sales office they told me they dont have a technician and disconnected the phone
                            i also filed a complaint in their customer care office with the same promise of getting the service done today however its not been done as yet
                            they have charged 1590 rs for the product

                            I have made online payment of Rs.690/- for a new Dish TV Connection on 19th Dec'2010. I got a mail confirmation from Dish TV that the product will be delivered & installed within 4 to 5 days, but so far there is no call from Dish TV. I have called Dish TV customer care 3 times and I was told the new connection for my token number was given to another person in Delhi. I am unable to understand when I have made payments though online and I got a payment confirmation mail, how the connection willl be provided to some other person.

                            I was also asked to send mail to cutomer care for which I did not get any confirmation. I request you to take up with the company to provide me the new connection at the earliest.

                              For the last four days I have been requesting the customer care to rectify my alignment, but no one is responding. Neither any technicians have visited us, I want to discard the connection and that also I am not being allowed.
                              i have the same problem, this is not the first time that this has happened, every time we call the to inform this, their customer service agents have the same surprised reaction as if this is the first time they are hearing such an incident happening, its pretty disgusting that we dont have any resolution to this issue. i wonder how good is tata sky is in these matters

                                Dish TV DTH — New Dishtv Connection not working since purchase-no body responding

                                This is Ajay Bunger, resident of CV Ramannagar, Bangalore.
                                I purchased a dish tv new connection with VC No. [protected]. on 7th APril, 2008 with 1 year package. I have paid 4990/- to Dish TV

                                The DIsh TV guys didnt bother to install it for first 3 days and after lot of followups from my end, one guy installed it unsuccessfully.

                                From the day of purchase, it is not working. I am literally harrased by the customer care of dish tv.

                                As per their documents, distv will be installed with in 24 hrs from the purchase.

                                From yesterday, I am talking to their representatives to the rank of manager, who are just falsely committing to rectify everything, but nobody is doing it.

                                GUYS----NEVER BUY DISHTV BOXES. They are totally unprofessional. SO dont buy it.

                                Tomorrow, I am going to file a formal appilcation against those guys, because of them, I am facing mental agony and embarrasment before my family, which is also suffereing.

                                Dish TV — Non resolution of Complaint Even After 72 Hours

                                I had taken a Dish TV connection during Diwali 2010 with 100% Cash Back Offer. When I recharged on 26.01.11 the validity of recharge was communicated as 04.03.11. Recently I was informed that the validity was only till 26.02.11 because I had purportedly activated certain packages. I lodged a complaint on 21.02.11 stating that at no point in time had I activated the channels as claimed by them and to reset the validity date to 04.03.11. Even 72 hours later the issue has not been resolved in spite of talking to numerous customer care executives and one supervisor too. Everyone says that it will be resolved in 2 hours and nothing happens. They do not even give the contact details of higher ups to whom I can take my complaint to. Dish TV it seems is only interested in taking customers for a ride and have no interest in resolving complaints especially where they are at fault.

                                Dear Sir, My DTH ID No. is 21633895. Please refer to my complaint No.[protected] dtd. 18.11.12 wherein I had been told by Sri Srikant and Sri Samarnath(Customer Executives) that my faulty Remote Control would be replaced within 24 hours. Nothing happened for next 48 hours. Again I contacted Customer Care on 20.11.12 where I was greeted by Smt. Simar Preet and Sri Khilaf(Customer Executives) and reassured me to wait for next 24 hours. All of a sudden, on the same day at 18.42hrs I received SMS from LM-VIDDTH that my problem has been resolved successfully. I could not understand anything as my Remote Control had not been replaced. Seeing no other option I called up Customer Care at 19.31hrs and wanted to know the matter from Sri Sunil (Customer Executive) wherein in he made me aware that though the problem has not been resolved practically they have to show it 'DONE' for the sake of record. Further he told me not to worry as my Remote Control will be replaced next morning i.e. today.I donot know what type of professional ethics you people at DTH have. Wish you people had understood customers' plight.

                                1. Kindly pull up your accounts and operation dept because of their mis-communication the services are debarred in spite of getting advice about next recharge date from your own customer care dept which is 2 months ahead ie in June 17 . My connection ( annually recharge) VC [protected] has been off since today evenning with message displayed " 102 - card has been deactivated " . Why deficiency in services and the customer made to suffer.
                                2. Can service dpartment assure about uninterrupted / trouble free services ( barring technical issues ) to a customer if the payments are made in advance by maintaining correct information on recharge by accounts and better coordination between accounts and operation .
                                3. Why account balance and next recharge date information is not made available when a customer looks at his 'your account ' facility displayed on TV screen. It shows 00 inspite of having balance as otherwise given when contact on toll free number. If the facility can not be made available, kindly remove it from screen.

                                Hope to see improvement with growing size in numbers which otherwise seems to be " The bite is more than one can chew" .

                                  I recharged my dish TV on Oct 31 2012, (New Delhi) But as per Dish TV they have not received the payments. Since then there has been so much communication about the documents / bank statement / account number etc. I am not sure If I need to provide the scanned copy of my original bank statement on which bank name and logo along with Account number. However they are insisting on it continuously.

                                  Though I provided the acct number and other related details which I believe is sufficient to figure out that where the money was gone. I got the message from the bank that the amount has been deducted. But they keep asking for the same details each time.

                                  How should I proceed. ?

                                    Hi this is something related to dish tv which i got installed in my home on 2nd nov 2012 just after one day it stopped functioning when i checked the same with the concerned people they said by mistake they have installed dish+ with recorder instead of dish tv normal however i ordered dish+ now they are not ready to activate the connection saying they will only activate it if they will change the box and will make it without box.

                                    The thing is both of them cost the same and at the same time my family missed telecast of some most loved tv serials and episode and still when i am interacting with those people they are not ready to listen anything.

                                      I have made so many calls to customer care and several mails to dish tv and their nodal officer on [protected]@dishtv.in but no any reply from them.

                                      When i call to customer care every time i have spend near about Rs. 20 for talking with them and every time they said it will done soon no any dead line and no any senior is available on phone.

                                      When i asked them to cancel the order they told that they have no any option for cancel the order its mean i am on mercy of dish tv.

                                      Please cancel my order as i would go with other dth operator.
                                      Please cancel my order and refund my money to my credit card account.

                                      Dish TV — Regarding Reinstallation

                                      I registered a complaint on friday that I am shifting my house on saturday so I want someone to reinstall my dish tv they said ya sure saturday some one will come, saturday when no one came then I again called them and asked why didnt anyone came, they replied that today they dont have any technichian free so tomorrow sure they will come. Same problem occurs on sunday,
                                      they never use to call, allways and allways I only called them and asked for the rectification of problem they allways replies tha twithin 10 min you will get a call from technichian but neve I anly wasting my money on calls & my time. I use to ask can I talk to some higher authority the always make me fool and reply no higher authority is available. four days spent they are making me fool and telling tomorrow sure your problem will be rectified . I paid advance amount of 6 months thats why they are making me fool and wasting my money. Daily I am calling them 6-7 times wasting my money on calls I ahave all the calls recorded as proof that how they are making us fool.

                                        Hi,

                                        On Sept 24, 2012 I was planning to buy dishtv using internet. I used net-banking to make the payment of Rupees 990/-. Then, due to lost connection I never got any confirmation, so I called dishtv and they said they never received any money.

                                        From my bank transaction detail I saw that the money has been taken from my account. I waited a week or so expecting an automatic refund, which usually happens when there is any network issue in the middle of any financial transaction. Never received the refund.

                                        I spoke to my bank and they said that the money has been credited to an account, which I believe is the payment processor for dishtv.

                                        So far I have sent 3 emails to dishtv customer service in every 1-2 weeks, after every mail, I receive a phone call with a message that they are working on the refund.

                                        It is getting close to two months, I am still waiting for the refund.

                                        Please help/guide me, how we can recover this money.
