    There is a issue with my dish tv. I called customer care for not able to view all free channels getting error 301. After troubleshoot customer care executive told me that there is a allingment issue on dish antenna. Need to send technician for that i will be charge 130 rupees as the setup box in to under warranty. When i asked that this is a technical issue not an physical hardware problem. Why should i charge for that. He is not agree and denied to send technician.

    After requesting, several times, the person is denied for the service.
    I request to take this matter to get this resolve.

      I have made several complaints regarding excess price charged for the following channels / bouquets but with no resolution.

      1) jaya tv - rs.19 instead of rs.6 (Extra charge rs.13)
      2) zee prime pack english sd - rs. 25 instead of rs.15 (Extra rs.10)
      Also few bouquets are not available with dish tv (Mega tv, mavis, silverstar, etc) and customers are forced to add them a la carte at a higher price.

      Despite several complaints, no action has been taken to resolve the issue and customers are losing money because of inefficiency to update correct prices.

        My vc no is [protected] im from calicut kerala. I have been receiving error number 102 page, though i have sufficient balance in my account. On repeated reset requests from the customer service end, nothing happened in return.
        Now the company intends to send a technician whom i should be paying, how justified is this! For none of my mistake why should i pay the service personnel?

          I have been getting non stop calls from dish tv from different numbers on my mobile number i. E +91-[protected]. This number is not even registered with dish tv as i do not have any dish tv connections if someone else has registered for my number then what is my mistake. Many times i have asked them to stop calling me but they don't. This is mental harassment. I can't even block the numbers coz they call from different numbers everytime. Screenshot of my phone call log for today is attached. This is pathetic and not acceptable i have recieved more than 50 calls from dish tv and even after telling them that this is wrong number they are calling again and again.
          I have not subscribed to any promotional offers please stop this.

            मैने डिश tv का नया कनेक्शन लिया था जिसमे मुजे 3 साल के लिए सभी फ्री to एयर चैनल फ्री मिले थे तथा 68 रुपये में 14 hd चैनल मिले थे जिससे महीने में मेरे केवल 80 रुपये लगते थे अब वो मुझसे फ़्री चैनल के लिए भी 155 रुपये मांग रहे हैं जो कि सरासर गलत है
            अव आप ही बताओ अगर किसी का काम 80 रुपये महीने में चल रहा है तो वो 250 रुपये महीने के क्यों दे
            मेरी समस्या का समाधान कीजिये
            अगर ये ट्राई का ही नियम है तो यह सरासर गलत है
            इसमे सुधार होना चाहिए

              I have dish tv connection [protected].. Which was recharged on 17.11.2018 for 1 year till 17.11.2019 incl 1 additional paid channel. I was oit of station for a while and when i switched on tv today on 24.05.2019 except the paid channel sony sab and dish tv offers channel all other free channels im not able to view. When i contacted dish tv they are giving lame excuses that weather may not be clear (Its sunny and clear outside). Then they say antenna position isnt right though one channel is and dish tv offer channel is coming. They said we have to call technician which is paid service.. When i told i will complain against their poor service they said will offer 50% off on paid service. They people are cheating us on long term packs we have already taken. They have took money and now stopped even free to air channels.

              After complaining here the matter was resolved in half hour. This showed that Dish Tv just wanted to earn money by forcing to send technician..As this Dish TV connection is not used so frequently hope such thing will not be repeated again. But Dish TV customer care is extremly irritating calling every 15 min even if one says we are busy. Very very disgusting. Hope TRAI allows porting into other operator soon...

                I recharged my vc of dish TV. After that the connection was not coming and I was facing a lot of problems with the connection of dish I called customer care for about 100 times and was harassed and troubled the whole day and the technician the sent was worst. And they had no idea of the problem.it was a very bad experience.the consumer personnel were not co-operative and disconnecting the call and making us fools and it was a very bad for a such reputed company to treat their customers and wasting time and It was a mental torture.

                  Incident: 4 news channels from Dish TV is not working properly, i spoke with customer care he try to do with online setting but i was not successful. Than he ask me to call technician at home with 200 charges and for new set of box 200 rupees.
                  Why should I pay to technician if its software problem only 4 channels are not working while in my building front flat Videocon customer can watch those channels properly.

                  Customer care sr person talking me that, if I want to watch those channels i have to pay otherwise I can throw Set of box. But they will not help me.

                        6 days ago my dishtv was switched off. But now when i recharged again dishtv debited rs.25 from my account! Why?
                        They told me that that was a processing charge! Why? Why we had to pay this processing charge?
                        It is our own matter when we recharge our account or not. Dishtv is looting us by saying "it is our rules."
                        Hope trai should take action about it and help users from unnecessary debits.

                        I have raised request for reinstalling and dismantle of setup box. Without any intimation to customer, your team closed the complaint. It's been 3 weeks and no one is responding and resolving my issue.

                        Everytime I have to call you guys but they won't even call and check the status. Very pathetic customer service.

[protected]) on 26th May, 2019 with Rs400, with which a offer of 200 cashback msg was sent to me, but till now your dish tv have not given the cashback. I have contact several times with the senior person of your customer care, they said I will get the cashback within 24 hrs, but several times, several days gone, no result. I hope you will do the needful before losing one of your valuable customer.

                              I have given complaint regarding my set box problem. Dish tv customer care executive said that free box will be provided to you if you bare installation charges. They noted down a complaint on may 14th. I wait until today afternoon and i called dish tv customer care executive, they said i will get a call from them. No call i get till now, again i called them again they repeat same thing. Because of no response from them i contact you. Please provide me a solution for my problem

                                Well i have 205 rs plan and everything was fine until i recharge 100rs. Yes i have done rs100 top-up on[protected] and suddenly my existing balance reduced by 75 rs and validity also reduced by 10 days and no sign of 100rs that i have recharged.

                                So i called their customer care service toll free number [protected]. No use of calling, because every time i call they give different reasons. So i complained on twitter and they assured this issue will get resolved but no use as well. Two times i got a call from their side, because of twitter - that i sent message, and they said some amount has been deducted we don't know the exact reason, so after reviewing your account we will call back, but no call thereafter. Even i'm sending messages on regular basis in the last 4 days. They are asking me 'allow me some time'. But i lost my patient.

                                Kindly help me to get this issue resolved.

                                  Dish TV people called me for ST2 (Satellite) connection change. They called me to my mobile and booked an appointment to change the ST2 connection.
                                  A person called me from this number[protected] and said he is Dish TV technician and he is for changing the satellite settings. He came over to my home and changed the satellite position and updated satellite settings in Dish TV and channels started coming 101 error. He mentioned that channels will be available after 15 min of refresh and he left. The channels did not come over.
                                  I called Dish TV customer care they did not respond properly they demanded 240 rupees for resetting. They disturbed the connection and demanding money to reset it. I raised ticket - Ticket number is[protected]. The CC people are very rude, I deeply regret getting DTH connection. Please resolve this issue as soon as possible. Also my DTH balance is cutting down despite I'm unable to watch.
                                  I have call recordings of the customer care people conversing on the issue too.

                                    My d2h customer id is[protected].
                                    I restarted my stb after a year in consultation with d2h cc and as per guidelines i have paid rs 270 to d2h but still i am not able to see the channels as per packages. I called cc but everyone is giving different answers and all are procrastinating the issue finally cc asked me to get it checked with service engineer with charge of rs 200.
                                    I am not understanding why should i pay if it is d2h issue. I have paid my monthly charge also my stb is at right track as i can view my home channels still people are asking to get it checked.
                                    It's a trick to loot the customer by giving such options.

                                      I had taken new dish tv connection on 7th april, 2019 with bharat combo plan which has a validity of 3 months & paid 1550/- to the dish tv operator. On 16th may, 2019, i received the message that your dish tv account recharge is due on 20th may, 2019, otherwise your account will get inactive. Immediately after that i call the customer care executive (Mr. Nitin chauhan) and informed about the whole matter, despite taking the corrective action on this matter, mr. Nitin started talking arrogantly with me, saying the reasons that bharat combo plan has been changed to some other plan by their operator. Which do not have any proper base and the whole blame has been put me. If the customer care team does not want to help the customers and just wanted to loot them and mislead them then dish tv should not have such people as their face of company.

                                      I just want to inform here, if this is the way dish tv wants to loot their customer and making the fraud with them by looting their hard-earned money, by just changing the lower plan to higher plan without prior concern of customers.

                                        It’s very unfortunate to write about the service rendered by DISH TV to a true/honest customer. I am a DISH TV customer bearing ID- [protected] since last 03 years. Recently due to heavy cyclonic storm in Odisha on 03.05.2019 my dish antenna had been affected and lost signal caused depriving from getting service. I had lodged a request for technician visit and was assured by the customer care that the problem will be resolved within 48 hours (i.e. 02 days).
                                        However, its almost 10 days have been passed, still no person/technician ever visited or contacted me for the purpose. Upon follow-up the customer care thousand times no fruitful result being came out except getting the fake assurance for resolving the issue as soon as possible.
                                        In this regard, I have also visited to Nodal Officer at Chandrasekharpur, Patia, Bhubaneswar hundred times still i did not get the satisfied answer/ service.
                                        In this regard I would like to put-forth few lines.
                                        Such activities/service provided by the DISH TV is very disappointing and Harassing to the true/honest customer. I was not expected such service at all by a huge company like DISH TV. Rather than Branding / promoting of DISH TV on Print Media/ public forum, DISH TV should focus on the requirement/problem facing by the customer for doing a healthy business in the market.
                                        Although, I may have option to go to consumer court to fight for my right, but as a common man/customer its not being feasible to mess my day to day life/time in court matter. However, such service of DISH TV from last 1-2 weeks rendered to me has set a good example to share and recommend my family, relatives, colleague, friend circle to not to go for DISH TV at all.
                                        At last, with the highest dissatisfaction level I am quitting from the DISH TV Family with a state of mind that could not be expressed. Such worst service I have been experienced shall be remembered in life long.
