As per trai new reguletary norm i have chosen 153 base pack + 298 (including gst)channels baquet as my knowledge and my account details it wil be 451 including GST
but DISH TV charges me 25 rs extra ncf on my paid channels
i have tried lost of time to raise complaints in dish tv customer care but that was reduclers experience they not able to try to help also.
They try to show that is TRAI have this clouse

We have already informed you that your paid channels count is exceeding 75 number of channels hence you are being charged NCF Rs.150+GST i.e Rs.177 including GST. Current paid channel count is 78. For example, if your paid channel count is 75 only then NCF will be reduced to Rs.130+GST i.e Rs.153 including GST

    Hi,

    I have raised a complaint on 22nd of April regarding signal issue. But as of now it is not yet resolved. I have called so many times to customer care but no one has resounded in a positive way on my query, Every day they are telling that it will be resolved but its already one week.

    It's very worse on your part for taking such long time for a simple solution. If my problem will not be fixed by today end of the day, then i am going to file suit against your company for giving falls commitments every day.

      This is regarding my dish tv connection with vc number [protected]. I am using the same connection for almost 10 ten years with a child connection too. Now everything was going fine till last 1-2 years when dish tv were managing all the complaint and the repair work themselves. I am just pissed off with the services since last 1-2 years. Facing different problem every 6 month with the same. Whenever you call the customer care they don’t have any clue and any solution apart from their so called paid visit every other time. One of the part was replaced a year back in my antenna and after 10-11 months’ time i faced the same problem again and i again paid for the same amount and same part a month back. The technician said that i have replaced this part. So that means the part which was absolutely fine since last 10 years will be replaced twice and they are again expecting me to do the same. Is this a joke or what? So either the technician are making fool out o[censored]s or i don’t know dish tv is making fool out o[censored]s by their paid services every other month.
      The customer care guys have no manners to speak and technician are so bloody illogical every time. They are coming doing jobs and they don’t have any receipt book or anything. Suddenly this kind of behavior is just acceptable. I just called the customer care and told them my problem which i am facing again & again and the response is that “sir you have to pay for the visit of our technician” and when i said i just did the same a month back and almost paid 1000rs twice in a year time for the same problem then the person replied the technician visited 35-40 days back not 30 days back and when i asked for permanent disconnection then the immediate reply was “sir are you sure? If i will raise this request you wont be able to start this again”. That is like a wonderful reply from the dish tv customer number care. I can just make sure that if not 50-100 connections in my city, i will make sure the request for atleast 10-20 disconnections within next 48 hours will be raised from my family or friends for sure.
      Some time one should not cheat like anything and this is what dish is doing nowadays. Patience should be tested in a year or 2 not bloody every second month.

        I am writing for my brother mahendra kumar. B. His vc no:[protected] (Mobile no:[protected]). His package migrated to anandham on 07/04/2019 rs.593.. To modify, i login &deleted unwanted channels. But after that these channels are there, recharge amount is same. I send mail to dish tv customer care to delete, the customer care executive called & said, need a visit to home &have to update software, &said about service charge. I again send mail on 20/04/2019 to customer care the list of channels to be deteted &some channels to be added on ala-car-ta, as trai says. Nothing happened yet. I have to pay before switch off date 13/05/2019.

          My dishtv with the vc number [protected] is not working since 23/04/2019. I still have balance in my account and my next recharge is on july 2019. Receiver is showing "102 no account balance". I have switched on and switch off the receiver so many times as per the instructions from the customer care. Also unable to move to the channel to 96 as instructed by the cutomer care. I am attaching the picture of the screen which is displayed now.. Kindly do the needful. Kindly rectify the problem and solve it.

            Deactivated even after paying, i have called customer care they simply keep saying that a refresh code has been sent, switch on stb and keep it switched on for 15 min, but it's of no use. Sometimes they say that they would send a technician but the technician never came, i have been facing this problem since 1 and a half week now, nothing has changed it keeps showing the same error

              Sir,
              I have booked disht tv dth new connection through flipkart. The dish tv set top box or antenna is not delivered even after 15 days. One of the technician of local dealer called me and scheduled and appointment for installation on 19th april but he didn't come on that day. I received an sms in update of the status of complaint no.[protected] that "customer area is cable violent area/no network coverage". This update was sent without visiting my location. After that i complained (Complaint no.[protected] with dish tv customer support team for delivery. After many discussion and escalation they promised to have delivery and installation very soon. On evening of 24th april one of technician of dish tv called me and requested to come on dealer shop (Electronic plaza, near j. P. Chowk, siwan) for guidance to my address location. I went there alone. The dish tv dealer mr. Aakash, his technician and other staff started threatening me for complaints and its escalation, used abusive language, threaten to beat and kill me and cut me in pieces on the road.
              I came back. I received an sms that customer has cancelled his installation request himself.
              I have complained regarding this to dishtv nodal officer for bihar jharkhand but till date there is no response.
              Request you to take this matter, penalize the company and compensate me for mental harassment, disrespectful behaviour, and threats given by dish tv and his local dealer.

                On 2 feb we recharged our set up box(dishtv) with 169rs scheme for 3 months which gives 3 months 7 days for 507 rs .
                But they changed the scheme without any notice and after 2 months 6 days they cut off all the signals with a notice 'Your Next Recharge amount is of rs 269' .
                When we reported about this issue to dish tv customer care . They simply said we can't help u in any way . You must yourself correct this threat by going through dish tv settings .

                  I have registered a complaint about 48hrs ago. Still my issue is not resolved and all the executives were rude when asked about the status.                       My vc:[protected] was charged with rs 340/- after selection of package at their website on 21/04/2019 (As shown rs340/- for a month). I received a message as new switch off date as 24/05/2019 by sms & also on my a/c.

                      Thereafter i asked for a child connection connection & i was given to understand that i shall be charged rs 1399/- for set top box & accessories & one month shall be absolutely free on child connection & i shall be able to watch all parents tv channels free.
                      Now today i got new child plan by paying the amount in cash.
                      As soon i paid dish tv whimsically sent me a message changing switch off date to 14/05/2019.
                      I protested & one senior representative of dish tv said they are under instructions charging higher amount now. She also cited trai for doing this. I am really astonished how she choose to misquote trai (I have neither added any channel to my package). I have paid in good faith but now after paying the company is now mischievolusly trying to take me for a ride. I have asked the company representative to reply to me by email so i can take suitable action as advised.

                      Kindly honour your committment as of message of 26/04/2019.
                      Inspite of your message above informing about changing switch off date of parent & child tv to 23/05/2019 it is yet to be done.Even today it is showing as 15/05/2019. It is very strange that you message & do not change.It is really so annoying.
                      Further you are arbitraryily removing channels which has been subscribbed in package .This is viwed as seriously.Kindly follow the subscribbed package.

                        Dear dish tv,
                        My vc no is [protected]. As offered by you, on[protected] i have recharged with 4999 for annual pack. My switch off date was 24/10/2019 according to your dish tv statements. I know as per trai's new rule the last date of channel selection was 31/03/2019. And on 30/03/2019 i had a discussion with your executive and he clearly said that, according to trai's new rule if you have annual subscription than you don't have to choose channel until you want to change your plan.
                        But now i have new switch off date that is 11/09/2019.
                        I have lost almost 2 months of my subscription.
                        I haven't done any changes in my pack.
                        I want my valuable money and my annual subscription pack back.
                        This absolutely illegal..
                        Already raise this issue 2 times. You can check that with service id[protected] and[protected]

                        It is very sad to say that Dish TV do not broadcast Lord Buddha TV channel in the birth country of Lord Buddha. After repeated complaints by several customers, no action is taken. Dish TV is forcing customers to switch to other DTH companies who are already boradcasting Lord Buddha TV channel.

                          On 11/11/2018, i have recharged swagat pack of dish tv for one year. After implementing trai new rules for channel selection deadline, dishtv voluntarily cancelled around 20 channels by themselves. Also, rates for channels increased. Even though my pack is supposed to be active till february 2020 (Inclusive of two months free package extn. By service provider), the curtailed pack period till october, 2019. As per the swagat pack scheme, monthly subscription was rs.209/- whereas now, around rs.270/-. When we contacted dish tv customer care, they are telling that the scheme will be continued till october 2019 with reduced channels and they will not effect any changes in the pack. Kindly advise how to deal with this peculiar situation and request you to intervene the matter as early as possible.

                            My dishtv with the number #[protected] is not working since 21/04/2019. I still have balance in my account and my next recharge is on 04/05/2019. My tv screen is displaying "102 no account balance". I have switched on and switch off the receiver so many times as per the customer care instructions. Customer care is instructing to change the channel to 96. But from this screen i am not able to change my channels.
                            Kindly do the needful. Kindly rectify the problem and solve it.

                              The services of dishtv are the worst of worst so far i have seen. My ordeal with their service department cannot be explained. Confusing answers and fake promises.

                              — i had placed a request for transfer of the dish tv connection from earlier place to new place. It was informed me that i had to pay the amount and activate the connection so that service will be given. I had paid the amount and got it activated. But even after 3 days no one visited from dishtv for transfer. I had to call the outsider and get it installed at my new place.

                              — during the payment i had selected my required channels and it was told me the same will be activated once the dishtv installed and transmission started. When the dishtv installed and the tv started coming in. The pack selected by me was not there instead other packs were given.

                              — when contacted the customer care, it was informed me that the dishtv to be aligned then only i can get my selected packs. It has been more than 20 days and till date no one has come for the alignment.

                              — here i have a doubt, in the present position, i am getting almost all the channels required except one channel, what else the alignment is required just to activate the channel?

                              — now the pack i have selected is a cheaper one, but dishtv has activated costlier package and now asking me to recharge the account otherwise dishtv may get deactivated. Why should i have to pay more when my requirement cost is less?

                              — if really the alignment has to be done, then it is dishtv service deficiency and for which they are penalizing me. Why should i pay for the same?

                              Even just now when i am trying to change the plan it is not getting changed. I am not interested to pay more for your in efficiencies.

                              Dear Team, it is surprise to note that you do not have my registered mobile number with you. When there is a due for recharge, the DishTv team keeps on calling me for recharge and now to respond for a problem, you do not have my phone number. What a wonder. my phone number is [protected].

                              In continuation the earlier ordeal which was prolonged for almost 20 days just for a alignment, now I am facing with a peculiar problem with DISHTV. As complained below after my hue and cry at various stages your service engineer has visited and did the alignment of the Dish to suit my package.

                              Exactly here the new problem started. Since the alignment, the signals comes only in the evening after 6 to 7 PM only, day time no signals. I had complained through website and even my family called your call center. The response is once again poor. The persons attending the calls does not even listen to us properly to understand the problem but gives the instructions to do this and that. In normal cases I agree but this is a peculiar case i.e signals received only a part of the day.

                              Now, your call center is saying that they will send the technician (not sure when) but we have to pay the service charge. Why should I pay the same when the problem is not with my installation or not a shifting or a repair problem. This is the system fault of DISHTV services.

                              Request you to kindly look into this and rectify immediately.

                              I had booked for new connection on 17th April at 8.21pm. I had done online payment and received only transaction details from their end, Transaction id- #656643.                                 On 21st April 2019 dish tv reset my channel pack and revised
                                my pack to Rs. 825 from Rs. 319. When asked about the
                                reason for revision of plan without my consent or notice, the Dish
                                TV Sr. Supervisor at their call center Mr. Chandan Kumar did
                                not respond to my query and asked to look online for solution.
                                In a very casual manner i was told to go take my complaint
                                upto TRAI. Dish TV revised my plan without any information
                                and billed me around 300% of the current value. Please
                                help me in resolving the issue and help me get my refund for
                                the days i was charged extra.

                                      My first dish tv set top box vc no. Is [protected] and second vc no. Is [protected] installed in single premises.

                                      I purchased / installed both set top box separately amount of rs 5800/- approx for 3 years nonstop pack.

                                      From 1st month of recharge dish tv charging me for my all add on channels, but they stop and deactivated in my both set top box nonstop pack/ free channels which i need to see without charging any fee. I contacted many times (Apprx. 70-80 times) to disth tv customer care to activate my free channels but for that they says that visit charges should be payable rs 210 something.

                                      When i contacted many times to dish tv customer care and said that why i pay visit charges, then once they admitted my call and confirm me that visit charges of technical would be free of any charge & my complaint will be resolved. I have a call records of that. But still my complaint is in force and not completed.

                                      Sir, dish tv company is only activate my add-on channels for which i recharged & paid separately but they stopped my maximum free channels in both set top boxes.

                                      Sir i harassed many times such as my call put on hold, by call drop or engaging me every time on phone to verify my vc number & my identity by various customer care executive. Every time when i called, approx 40-60 minutes they take for checking my detail in system. They waste my time & their time also. Some time, they put my call on hold and sometime transfer.

                                      Every time they said that your request will complete in system and it will take 15 minutes. If i check after 20 minute in tv and see that my request is not processed, then i again call to customer care, then i get a response from customer care that my request will complete in next 15 minutes.

                                      Sir they repeatedly says same thing for my single complaint/request handled by various customer care of dish tv company.

                                      Sir my point is that, when i paid my full amount for 3 years to dish tv for free channels, then why i pay for technician visit charges to dish tv company. When they can start my add on channel on my request or phone calls, then why dish tv company can not start my free channels on my phone calls or request. Why it is necessary to send technician to check that chatri is proper or not / signal is proper or not.

                                      When all system including chatri, set top box or cable or other hardware is only of dish tv company and add on channels is start on request then free channel should be start on phone calls or request. Firstly all free channels should not be done deactivated by dish tv company. Dish tv company update its system itself that what have to see customer and what have to hide from customer so that they earn more from customer.

                                      Sir i lastly recharged rs 210/- for my popular hd add on channels (Monthly 69/-) for 3 months before march'19. But as after march rules and regulation has changed by government. After march'19 my account balance automatically used by dish tv company by start many channels without my request (Which we do not used to see or don't' want to see.) they full utilized and consume our account balance without taking our concern.

                                      I demanded that which basic service and channels i can see, but they didn't provided yet.

                                      Sir dish tv company only want that i only recharged for my add on channels and i should not see free channels, so that they can earn more & more from me. And we should only follow to dish tv customer care/ company.

                                      Sir, i want from company.

                                      1) all free channels should be start without any further delay. For which i will not pay any fee or charges.

                                      2) contact time or call duration should be very minimum if we contact to customer care.

                                      3) also immediate action / good service should be provided to customer. Avoid call transfer to senior person & call drop & call back. Give proper resolution & service in first attempt. If executive is not in condition to give proper response then company should suffer, why customer will face & suffer.

                                      4) avoid to earn extra from consumer.

                                      5) list of all basic & free channels list applicable to me for my both set top boxes.

                                        I'm a dishtv user and i was trying to modify my channels list and on the dishtv bouquet packs, i found a lot of serious discrepancies with respect to several channel exclusions when compared to the corresponding broadcaster pack listings (On the broadcaster sites).

                                        Below are some examples.

                                        1. For the pack - tamil premium pack hd, on the broadcaster site, 17 hd channels are listed but on dishtv, only 16 channels are listed. Dishtv is not providing vijay tv hd as part of this pack, which is listed on the broadcaster site.

                                        2. For 'zee prime english hd pack', on the broadcaster site, the pack is priced at 25 rupees per month but dishtv is charging 35 rupees per month.

                                        3. On the dishtv 'tamil super hd' pack, gemini movies hd, sun life & surya tv channels are missing compared to broadcaster site.

                                        4. On the dishtv 'colors tamil value hd' pack, colors tamil hd channels is missing compared to the broadcaster site. Also, some of the channels on this pack are hd on the broadcaster site, while on dishtv, they are sd.

                                        There are just some of the discrepancies i found in the packs i was interested in choosing, i'm sure there are many more. There are serious lapses. I checked with other service providers like tata sky etc. They are all in compliance and their pack offerings are in line with what the broadcasters are offering.

                                        I wrote to dishtv customer care and this is what i got -
                                        "moreover, all the broadcaster bouquet which are showing on broadcaster
                                        Website or trai website are not available with dishtv. You can choose only
                                        Those bouquet which are showing on dishtv website/app/login page."

                                        Repeated calls and emails to them were not useful and i did not get a proper response. I request you to look into this.

They have not yet resolved this. So, they are obviously not interested in resolving this. So, please escalate this to TRAI ASAP.

                                        I do not understand what you are saying !! I've written to [protected]@dishtv.in on April 27 and also sent another follow-up email on April 30. Finally, you acknowledged for that email on May 2 saying you are working on it.

                                        Please resolve this at the earliest - within a week and let me know.
