Hi team - below is entire history of how dishtv handled my issue.. (Still not resolved). Below are the emails i have sent to dishtv.

Note - i haven't received any response back till date on the initial email dated 3rd may from them (Email response) as it will be documented so they only used to call me and when asked for written email (Response to my email) they reject it. Received calls saying if you want us to resolve this issue please raise another ticket and we will try to close it.

Emails to dishtv:

Hello team - as expected even after such a big email and so many calls with your customer care... Still no one visited for resolution.

The most interesting things is... I have received 3-4 calls from supervisors promising me that engineer will fix the issue on the day of the call.. Still no luck

I got a call from engineer on 4th may 2019 saturday morning, he took my appointment and told he will come before 6pm, as usual no one has visited.
I got another call on 5th may 2019 sunday morning, he took my appointment and told he will come before 6pm, same story no one has some.

Funny part is now, i got a call from one of the supervisor on 5th may sunday evening around 7-8pm.. Telling me that my ticket is closed and issue was resolved on 4th may saturday by engineer and are you happy and can confirm if my dish is working... What on earth can i tell him that laugh loud.

So pathetic service. No more discussions and calls from my side.

As a customer i have to inform you and it's my responsibility too... I have raised a compliant with trai with all the details about my service and how i was lied and cheated.

Thanks you for all your services. I am moving out of dishtv.

I want to express my utmost dissatisfaction on dishtv services, i am dish customer for 8+ years and the service which i got for last 2 months (March and april) is pathetic and disgusting.

History to substantiate my frustration and words used in this email.

March'19 - i moved into the new house and asked for connection shift, look at my ticket details on what all they have done and how many times i have called dish to fix it. It was a sensitive issue of leaving electric wires outside unattended which is so dangerous, however no accountability and responsibility to come and clear that even after several calls and talking to several supervisors. The only response i got was "we understand your issue and your frustration, we will take this on priority and get an engineer" thats it, that engineer never turned up. It went on for 2-3 days and at last i got fedup and arranged local engineer and fixed it by paying him rs 250/-. Reason is simple, mess was created by dish engineer however problem was for me and not to you, so you relaxed on it.. Right?

In this beautiful conversation days on the issue, one engineer did call me one day, asked me the issue and when explained him, he asked for extra money which i refused because it was unfinished work in the first place, engineer blackmailed me saying if i pay money he will come otherwise he will not come. The same day i have called dish tv customer care and spoke to a supervisor and told him what happened. I am sure you have that in writing (Ticket) and also in recordings of yours

Note - all my calls are recorded with dish tv, so you can go and listen to them if you feel above issue or statements where incorrect.

Next level of service in second episode which happened in april'19.

27th april (Ticket number[protected] my dish tv was not working, so called customer care and raised a compliant. To your normal procedure asked me to perform some trouble shooting steps and finally raised a compliant for engineer visit.

Waited till 29th, no call from engineer so called customer care.. As usual an apology and commit you will get a call in next 2-3 hours.

Waited till 30th, still no call nor a visit. So called again, again same story apology and commit you will get a call in next 2-3 hours.

Waited till 3rd may, still no call nor visit, so called again... This time i was told ticket is closed as engineer tried to call you on 30th and your number was not reachable... I have given 2 numbers, did the engineer call on both numbers? No one is able to answer because there is no such documentation... And reality is i didn't get a call on my second number

Reality is my number [protected] was not working on 30th due to network issues however my secondary number [protected] was alive and is with me. I haven't got any call. I don't need to lie on it as its my service getting hit

Secondary, don't you try calling the customer the second time on his primary and secondary after few hours or before closing the ticket??? Because you know you didn't resolve the issue as there was no visit.. Just one call and close the ticket and not even wait for next day and give a try and close the ticket? There is no answer for that from supervisor.
Same statements, we are very sorry and we will open the ticket and engineer will call you in 2-3 hours :-)

I was waiting for 3-4 days to get my service fixed however you cant even wait for 2 hours and give a call back to customer on primary and secondary to check??

Don't you think customer will be frustrated with such service???

I am still not hopping for any solution to this service, because i don't have any trust in dishtv now... 8yrs of trust was broken in 2 months with pathetic service.

To conclude... This note is a reality check for you and your services... Only to let you know how good service you are providing to customers like me... Will you still stick to the same company after so much of agony??? I am sure not, same goes with me too..

I will look for another service provider in couple of weeks time and move on for sure.

I will be very eager to look into your response, not that i will be happy to see it.. Only to understand how dishtv as a company responds to customers whom you have frustrated.

    I enquiry about new connection by giving miss call on[protected] this number, that is available on dish tv website. They described me the offer according to my pincode.

    The offer described over call was as follows

    1) dishnxt hd stb
    2) with 1 month subscription
    3) life time warranty and
    4) coupons worth 2000 from coupon duniya

    But after getting new connection on (30th, april 2019) i asked about the coupon from coupon duniya then they said link will be sent to your registered mobile number for the coupon. But till now now link has sent to me.
    Then i talk to customer care they said this coupon is not for everyone, then i said you team told me about the offer. Then they said we will check the recording and if so we will give you the offer. But today 6th, may 2019. Callback by them and they said this connection you did not bought from us.

    It's a week, no body contacting or installing my dish connection, even though keep on calling 2 to 3 times a day .

      I have paid rs 1749 at your website for a new connection on 19th april. I did not receive any token number but do have the transaction reference number and the receipt of paid money. Thereafter i have called the help line multiple times as well as sent several reminder e mails to the customer care e mail. Till today no installation has been provided and every time i am asked to submit the token number which i never received. I would like dist tv to either trace the payment made in their accounts dept or refund the amount immediately refund.
      All relevant details have been sent to the customer care e mail already.

      All free channels are barred with error code 301. When called cust. care they said that to book a technician with 200 + GST. When said ABP ananda is in the booking list. They are insisting for chargeable technician to visit. This is fraud to us.

        I have recharged my dish tv number of times but it is not getting in.. Customer service employees are fooling customers by asking them to make false recharges and charging extra for the services i have not subscribed.. More over they don’t have a toll free customer care number and also charging me to talk to customer care and not providing the definte solutions.. I have spent around 200 rs to talk to them and i didn’t find any solution and charged me 250 rd for change in alignment which is a fake.. Please take action against fake dth providers like dish tv

          We took a of dishtv connection during the time of diwali 2018. At that time we were informed that by paying rs 2850 we will get a subscription for a year with all the channels.
          But after 5 months they stopped all sports, english, cartoon, and non hd channels. After continuing like this for 1 month they disconnected all our channels and our subscription of switched off entirely.
          We have complained several time to the customer service but they have done nothing instead of just wasting our precious time. They argued that we only had a connection for 7 months, we were given the plan worth rs500 per month, and other senseless statements which we of no use for us

              My dishtv with the vc number [protected] is not working since 26/05/2019. I still have balance in my account and my next recharge is on 17/06/2019. My tv screen is displaying "102 no account balance". I have switched on and switch off the receiver so many times as per the customer care instructions. Customer care is instructing to change the channel to 96. But from this screen i am not able to change my channels. and the response from customer care is poor and good with auto reply that issue will be resolved in 24 hrs.

              I have been using service from past 1 year in same location and it working fine till i failed to recharge. Once i have recharged service is not resuming back.

                On[protected], i chose the channels for viewing as per the deadline. Immediately from the next day onwards, there was occasional disruption of signal with error code 301. Inspite of having lodged complaint thrice, nobody appeared to provide service and resolve the problem. Twice, the status of the complaint was closed, showing result "resolved", although nobody bothered to visit to fix the problem. The latest complaint is dated 30/04/2019, with an assurance to be attended within 24 hours. However, it is still unattended.

                It would not be out of place to mention here that despite all odds as mentioned above, i have recharged my dish tv account on 18/04/2019.

                A technician's visit at the earliest to solve the problem permanently is highly solicited.

                  This is to inform you that i tried to recharge rs.300 through dishtv.in on 01/05/2019. Though my recharge failed, my state bank a/c debited. Message came to my mobile as under
                  "your debit card xxxx used for rs.300 on 01may19 at 80600739txn#[protected]".

                  Please recharge the amount or sent me back.
                  Point to be noted. I tried to make recharge through my sbi debit card. During the time of recharge when i submitted otp for payment a message came - oops! Something went wrong in the air. Then after sometime my a/c debited.

                    Dear sir/ madam,

                    I’m jayaraju, representing the san juan dhavan from choutuppal, nalgonda district of telangana. On april 3rd i recharged my vc card with 1500 via paytm and the money was added. But when i switch on the setup box, it shows only 102 error. When i called the customer care service, they said it has to be realigned and we will send the technician. The technician called me once saying that he is coming the next day. I waited for him but he never turned up. When i called the customer care services the next day, they said the complaint is closed. Again the complaint was booked for almost 7 times in this one month. But no technician has turned up. The customer care executives do some online technical resolve but never got it rectified. I am really fed with the dish tv services, where they are not able to command their own technician. The technician may be saying lie that he visited site and rectified the problem or the mobile number is not able to be reached. All these are lies. Further they had deducted rs. 750 for the channel which i have never selected. Therefore, i am officially complaining to the higher ups of dish tv via this email complaint. If it is not resolved in the next 24 hours, then i am going to approach the national consumer forum and the state consumer forum against the dish tv management. Thank you.

                      Please refer to my earlier complaint & by message date 26/04/2019 you have informed to change switch off date for both parent & child tv to 23/05/2019 from 15/05/2019. Regret to inform even till date you have not done it. It is still showing as 15/05/2019.

                      Further i find that you are not. Showing subscribbed channels. Eg. Channel no 323 is being shown on child tv but is not shown on parent tv... A msg says not subscribbed.

Asking to pay more for technician.. Since no fault from my end why should we need to pay for that.. I need to solve this from your end..                           I have been getting non stop calls from dish tv from different mumbai land lines numbers for vc number [protected] on my registered mobile number with them which is on do not disturb mode. I don't know if that's even legal. Many times u have asked them to stop calling me but they don't. This is mental harassment. I can't even block the numbers coz they call from different numbers everytime.

                            Hi,
                            My DishTv is not working since last 8 days even after recharge. My DishTv VC# [protected]. I have recharged DishTv on 21/Apr and getting 102 Error as No Account Balance from 21/Apr.

                            I have raised complaint[protected] on that day and they closed complaint on Monday without checking the customer. I called once again on 22/Apr to check the status and they informed me that complaint is closed as customer is not reachable even thought I gave two different number and even I didn't get a call from technician.

                            I raised one more complaint[protected] on 22/Apr and called DishTv multiple times since 22/Apr and no proper response from DishTv team regarding my complaint. It is very pathetic situation to me as I wasted my time because I had to wait so long on every customer care call and every time they mentioned that they are reaching out to their superior and service agent but nothing helped me till today.

                            I also sent emails to Telangana nodal office and no response from their side.

                            Request you to consider this and help me on this.

                              I ordered a new dish tv hd connection on 23 april and have paid rs.1500 as the fee. I was promised installation and connection within 2 days.

                              But, after 5 days i still do not have the connection. The technical team came on 26 april and checked the site and promised to come the next day morning. Now, when i call them they either tell me they would come or not answer my phone or switch off their mobiles. So, please help me get the dth connection as soon as possible else refund my money back. I dont have the energy and time to keep following up with the technical team.

                                  This is with reference to ticket number[protected], which was raised relating to a new dish tv connection. It has been more than 24 hours which was the agreed turn around time. However, there is no support extended to me till now. Least to mention, there is no acknowledgement email or a call from the service centre.

                                  I have called the customer care toll free number[protected] several times, but i regret to inform you that, the representatives are highly unprofessional. Very rude behavior has been observed. One of the representative shanti priya, even disconnected the call.

                                  Would request you to kindly look into the matter. A quick response will be highly solicited.

                                    Such a bad service. Really irritated giving complaints. Initially to migrate to new plan, you needed to align which was a compulsion for you to do as per trai rules and alignment... You took a month after my escalation to visit and do alignment. Now i had given a complaint saying many channels are not being provided even though i'm paying you the charges. You say i should wait for 15mins and still no
                                    Update. Still many subscribed channels are seen blank. No error is seen... Only a blank dark blue screen with dishtv logo on bottom right corner. Even free chanel's... And also zee tv, discovery science... Turbo... Etc not being given.
                                    Finally mr. Ashish from dishtv says we need to arrange an executive for which i need to pay...
                                    I really don't understand why am i to bare when issue is from your service side. I am clear that i'm not gonna pay you any amount. Now this is last and final... Since 7-8 yrs am using the dishtv and its really getting bad day to day. Finally tell me are you giving a solution by getting the issues rectified or just say not possible... I do have a lot many competitors to subscribe for.

                                      I am getting a lot of calls from multiple numbers of dish tv. This started a few days back. I thought they would stop if i ignore but it continues. Each day i get atleast 4-5 calls from them. Even while typing this complaint i got 2 calls. I could not even block them because all the numbers are different. Its really annoying. Its mostly starts by +9122. Kindly help stopping that.

                                        Pathetic dishtv service. My vc number is [protected]. I bought the dishtv with bharat cricket combo pack on 14th april and from that day it is showing 102 no account balance error even though i have account balance and my pack is showing as activated for one year. The pathetic excuse for a customer care have no clue as to the problem. Switched the set top box on and off as per instructions from the so called customer care whom i have called atleast 15 times in two weeks. The technicians have not visited even after the customer care claims to have mailed them in high priority. I don't think this is legal that the customer is abused like this. I will take action to get justice from your fraud.
