I'm a dishtv user and i was trying to modify my channels list and on the dishtv bouquet packs, i found a lot of serious discrepancies with respect to several channel exclusions when compared to the corresponding broadcaster pack listings (On the broadcaster sites).

Below are some examples.

1. For the pack - tamil premium pack hd, on the broadcaster site, 17 hd channels are listed but on dishtv, only 16 channels are listed. Dishtv is not providing vijay tv hd as part of this pack, which is listed on the broadcaster site.

2. For 'zee prime english hd pack', on the broadcaster site, the pack is priced at 25 rupees per month but dishtv is charging 35 rupees per month.

3. On the dishtv 'tamil super hd' pack, gemini movies hd, sun life & surya tv channels are missing compared to broadcaster site.

4. On the dishtv 'colors tamil value hd' pack, colors tamil hd channels is missing compared to the broadcaster site. Also, some of the channels on this pack are hd on the broadcaster site, while on dishtv, they are sd.

There are just some of the discrepancies i found in the packs i was interested in choosing, i'm sure there are many more. There are serious lapses. I checked with other service providers like tata sky etc. They are all in compliance and their pack offerings are in line with what the broadcasters are offering.

I wrote to dishtv customer care and this is what i got -
"moreover, all the broadcaster bouquet which are showing on broadcaster
Website or trai website are not available with dishtv. You can choose only
Those bouquet which are showing on dishtv website/app/login page."

Repeated calls and emails to them were not useful and i did not get a proper response. I request you to look into this.

Dear Consumer Complaints team, I've written to [protected]@dishtv.in multiple times (sent first email on April 27 and a follow up email on 4/30). They have not yet resolved this. So, they are obviously not interested in resolving this. So, please escalate this to TRAI ASAP.

I do not understand what you are saying !! I've written to [protected]@dishtv.in on April 27 and also sent another follow-up email on April 30. Finally, you acknowledged for that email on May 2 saying you are working on it.

Please resolve this at the earliest - within a week and let me know.

    I made payment of rs 350 on dish tv app via bhim sbi pay. Money was deducted from my account but no recharge done. Despite money being credited to dish tv's upi [protected]@icici, service not provided. I want my money back. If money has already been credited to dish tv's upi why are they saying transaction failed. Useless dish tv, it's consumer care services. When are you going to give my money back??

    On 20/4/19 I made payment of Rs 350 to dishinfra@icici for DTH recharge. But no recharge was done. Next day recharge with offer was done by the company.

      Sir, i am suffering since 8 days by dish tv call center in way of giving me lie response.
      My vc no. [protected] the error displaying on screen is 301.
      I am having 16 recorded voice calls which i'm talking with call center people since[protected].
      The docket/service request number has allotted after week days after asking several times (Which has recorded voice call[protected]

      Sir, For the complaint raised by me firstly a reply mail has been sent to me after a couple of days. After a day of reply mail an advisor of the company called me and asked for the future solving of issue. After discussion a final decision on this issue taken by me. How ever I can say that this type of help line services has to amended for the convince of consumer and company. God is great.

      Sir I'm not waiting for this type of response, Iam hearing this since 10 days, for all these 10 days I have lost for moreover 10, 000 rupees I want those amount as refund (call charges, data charges, monthly subscription charges, for my valuable time.(10 days)This name Dish TV is not suitable for this type of services

      Sir atlast a technician attended the complaint after 11 days of complaint raised and submitting complaint in consumer complaint.in. But we are disppointed with the service of Dish TV. After 11 days the technician is recommended to change hardware.
      But we're not in a position on trusting these people. If we trust again it will be the mistake made by us with the past experience (10 years and 11 days)with these people. So we denied for the hardware change. The solution requesting by us for this issue is to forward a local technical team address beyond the call center (so that we can can meet physically) or closing the account by giving us the refund as per law (Deposit/balance subscription from the date of complaint raised by us)

        My vc number is [protected], i am getting above error from last six days.
        This happen after re-alignment of dish antenna. Contacted customer care from last 6days, i have 8 complaint numbers and 33 call recording conversations of customer care.

        Still yet not resolved, know every time customer care person keeping my phone on hold, i waited almost 50mins and dropped call.

          After the new TRAI regulation, i tried to update my channels in dishtv through their website. I received the message stating the same will be processed in 15 mins with token no. [protected]. But the channels are not updated yet. Dish tv themselves have selected unnecessary channels into my pack which iam not viewing and are charging for the same. I tried to remove the packs online. While it accepts the request to delete, but after refreshing it is observed that the same channels are still shown. Iam now not receiving some channels which were free and which i used to receive earlier like Flowers channel (malayalam).
          I tried to make multiple attempts online and send mails to dishtv. Dishtv always gave the lame reply that your no. is not contactable. Request was made to update the channels online even if they are unable to contact me, but of no use.
          Iam paying around Rs. 420 per month, while the actual channels which i need to view as per my request is chargeable around Rs. 220 only.
          This looks like a deliberate attempt from dishtv to stick on to additional channels and overcome trai regulations.
          Please suggest how i can get a solution for the same.

          Instead of giving the lame excuse that you cant contact me, please update the channels as per my online request. Why cant it be done!!!

          JUST UPDATE MY CHANNELS AS PER MY REQUEST ONLINE!!!

          Dishtv is unable to contact me on phone is no sufficient reason to not update the channels. I have made an online request and the details are already posted here. I have made multiple tries online as well as on set top box. I cant figure out what is stopping dishtv from updating my channels as per online request.
          This is open loot and fraud and dishtv is not ashamed to give lame reasons in public forums. I demand an immediate update of my channels as per my online request, else i shall take up the matter with TRAI/consumer court.

            I have recharged for a month on 31 mar cid[protected] but on 19th april services stopped displaying you have insufficient balance.
            No phone no. Is available to contact cc only ivrs tells you have no balance.
            Kindly do the needful to restart the service as i had recharged on 31 march for full month
            Thank you for providing this platform when service providers not even respond to their consumers.

              I had booked for a new connection on 17th april 2019 at 8.21pm. I have done the online payment of rs. 1749 through the www.dishtv.in site and digital transaction details received from dishtv. Transaction id is #656643. But till now no correspondence has taken place regarding installation. No call or sms received till now.

              I had sent emails and spoken to customer care executive several times but there is no sign to solve the matter.

              As dishtv is a reputed dth service provider, how could we expect such type of negligence as well as ignorance. Is this a proof of a good service to a common people like me?

                  Hi, i had been customer of dish tv dth provider that from years but from years, the behavior of executive at service center located at police complex, anantapur is very rude. I have visited there like ten times but the girl there is very negligent and pointing the finger to customers. Whrn asked about this today on 19.04.19, she said that it's nonemy business to ask questions and why am i bothered about the way she talks. The only thing that stopped me from taking the issue to police station is that she is a gal.. But i seriously am worried about... Is this the way your guys talks to us. She has spoken to my father also in a rude way. A village guy came in and she spoke to him in the same way.. He has left the service center still not knowing what she said... I seriously need an explanation for this

                    I am dish tv customer, my connection is not working from 16th april 19 onwards and i am every day 3 to 4 times continuously doing a followup with dish tv customer care team but till date, my problem is not resolved and never visited your technical team to resolve the issue.

                    To contact dish tv customer care i am spending my valuable time 3 to 4 hours daily but the problem is not resolved.

                    By choosing dish tv connection is a mistake of mine and your team feeling that customers are beggars. As a customer of dish tv i am getting lot mental pressure while talking to dish tv team members.

                      I bought dish tv dth set top box on october 8, 2017 with 3 year 'non stop pack' (Only free channels only) which activated on september 16, 2017 (Switch off date september 14, 2020). But now they did not provide all free channels. I give complaint to their customer cell (Above 4 times). They give promise that "within 24 hours technician will come to home and problem will solve" at free of cost. But any technicians did not solve my dish tv problems and without my consent the complaint was closed by the costumer cell or technical team.

                        I raise a complaint on 16-apr-2019, till now my complaint is not resolved. Daily i called a customer care we will resolve your issue today told by support team and supervisor. I think this is a box technical issue, this is the shame to take the long time and also when i receive a call form dishtv and i lift a call "you will be queue in 15 (Or) 20 mins". Dishtv imagine people not working or playing games to hold the call around 20mins. Even i receive a callback from there my issue is not resolved. Very bad service in my life to take the dishtv.

                              I have reacharged my vc but the it is showing 102 low account balance. I called to customer care he saying to take new setup box. It is issue of balance or setup box. I[censored] guys can't solve say directly we can't solve. I am customer of more than 6 years it is my worst experience. So please look into it.                                   I bought dish tv dth set top box on october 8, 2017 with 3 year 'non stop pack' (Only free channels only) which activated on september 16, 2017 (Switch off date september 14, 2020). But now they did not provide all free channels. I give complaint to their customer cell (Above 4 times). They give promise that "within 24 hours technician will come to home and problem will solve" at free of cost. But any technicians did not solve my dish tv problems and without my consent the complaint was closed by the costumer cell or technical team.

                                    My vc no [protected]. My next recharge date is 19/04/19. Error 102 recorded message displays on screen on 16/04/19. and no channels displays on screen. I made a recharge of 350 Rs on 17/04/19.Still the message is on screen.I called customer care dish TV many times after recharge.Now they are saying that it is a problem due to vc faulty or set top box fauty and I have to pay 200 Rs + gst to dish TV for correction the signals.

                                      Dear trai team,

                                      I had complained on[protected] regarding re installation related issue to dish tv (Vc no: [protected]): complaint no.: [[protected]], till date the issue was not solved even after contacting dish customer care for several times?? They misleading me & testing my patience.

                                      Since 7 days i have been following up with customer care & service in-charge for re installation. Daily i am calling and waiting for almost 30-40 mins to get the call connected. Every time i call they will say that they escalated they spoke with service in-charge to that area and issue will resolve by today or tomorrow. Same response all the time. It is still pending.

                                      Pl, do the needful and solve my concern.

                                      I'm waiting from[protected] to till date, I lost my patience, I lost my time I lost my entertainment since 8 days I'm regularly calling to customer care, I lost my valuable time in my office to talk customer care, superiors and IVR Calls, each and everyday I take 1 hour permission to talk to dishtv customer care, I lost total time 9 hours since 11th April 2019 to 18th April 2019.

                                      To day I received a call from dishtv, they said today our representative will come to your home fix the installation within the day. and also I received a call from dishtv installer he asked 200 installation charges and extra hardware parts charges applicable I rejected, why should I want pay 200 and extra hardware parts charges, since 8 days to I lost my time and my children entertainment at home, and also I lost in my mobile balance 70/- rupees also that's I rejected, I want also my 8 days entertainment, my time value, and my balance then I will pay 200/-. Other wise I will go to consumer court.

                                        I have been facing 301-signal not found issue since last 5days and raised a complain and told that technician visit will be arranged and issue will be resolved in 24hrs.
                                        But since that day its been 5days no one has appeared, being a customer as sufferer i am reaching to customer support every day a minimum of 4 to 6 times and most of the time stays on line to get the call connected but when time comes just listening only one thing from them that they are taking this as priority basis (Since these 5 days may be my complain has taken 10+ times on priority basis, and no one cares the priority), i was given a new time within that it will be for sure resolved but as usual nothing happens no one visit being a customer and without any option i calls the support again, again stays in line wait for the turn and same thing repeats, priority and new time story and assurance and this goes on a loop for me since last 5 days.
                                        Seems the service team to whom they are assigning the ticket don't care this dishtv and seems dishtv also don't have any other options/control with and simply raising their hand saying what we can do service team is not picking the call.
                                        The service team is closing the ticket without fix or consumer concern and they seems don't care about dishtv.
                                        I asked dishtv support to assign some other service team or taken some other ways around but seems they are out of option and when i am asking them as you don't have any option forward this call to your superior they are also saying what they can do they will also tell the same (How pathetic).

                                        Since these 5days i have called customer support for more than 20+ times and stays in hours in line to get this thing resolved but nothing helps
