Good evening, this is to get to your notice on the total frustration that i am goin through for last 3 months. Pls find the detailed description of same & also the way how dish tv is cheating customers.

1. I have proactively called up dish tv in january/ feb’19 way before the launch of trai regulation & brefied on my channel requirements & the same was mentioned would activated by customer care.
2. This was noticed by me in feb19 again that the channels were not activated, i had to call back & customer care mentioned previous agent had not activated my request & took my fresh request
3. Again frustrated of not activating my plan, called back & the call was escalated to senior department they mentioned some technical changes are not made to my set up box due to which they had not activated.
4. Then i asked senior agent why was this not informed to me in past, he upfront told me that this will not be possible. I confronted him to listen my calls & see if this was informed and get back with pay back for impact caused.
5. He checked & confirmed the issue was with dish tv and not from my end, he was supposed to give my a refund of 400₹, but he gave me maximum as per policy is only 200₹ (Audacity of dish tv is even if they are at fault, they still want to give what they can & not as per customer impact).
6. When i mentioned this is not right on there part, the senior executive told, i am open to do what i want to do, but they can give this much only.
7. With sheer frustration i let it go thinking it is one off case & mentioned senior executive to activate my plan which was worth 300₹ per month as per trai policy
8. He confirmed he will do it, now i thought atleast my issue would be fixed.
9. Today when i check my connection was activated with 750₹, i with frustration called customer care to confirm why this was activated & with whose permission.
10. He mentioned this is recommended plan for me?, i told why was i not activated with the plan i wanted, he told againmy alignment is not done... You guys tell me what more should i do.. I called almost ten times n still my plan is not activated.

Every time i call they tell alignment should be done, but they do not do..

I am literally frustrated, pls listen to all my calls that i called from january 19 & understand the issues.

Iam left with no options other then escalating this issue to trai & consumer forum.

My expectations: need dish tv to act responsibly & do what they are supposed to do as per ground of law defined. Refund all the amount & take a visible actions against all the people who are responsible in not implementing the actions.

Trai team, pls help the customers from these kind of issues & guide me what all actions i can take again these companies who are against customer rights...

Note: i am a normal working guy who spend time in office most of the time, i call when i get frustrated & these companies are torturing me as for this alone issue i had to loose my patience and under go immense mental torture talking to multiple people on same issue multiple times..

Dish Tv, has just confirmed they will revert by checking the damage caused. However today they called again & confirmed that it’s there issue but they can provide only 150₹ as refund.

This was spoken by backend team “AKIF”.

Cheaters to the core, accepting as there fault but not ready to refund.

I want a strong action to be taken against dish tv

    I have choosen the pack as per trai regulations. Comes to 380/ month. With free fish realignment. No body contacted for alignment even after 8 days and i was migrated automatically to a pack at 730/month which i didn't request. Called customer care several times. No resolution till now. Very bad service from dishtv. Iam very much disappointed.

      Am a dishtv customer. I have been asked to change the package according to the new rules which i have done and website said that technician would come to my home and set the antenna. Which was not done till 4 days. Afetr four days i raised a complaint again. And called customer care after a 18hrs and the response i got is complaint will be solved in 24 hrs.
      I have called customer care again after 40 hours and the guy who attended the call does not have any idea about what is going. He said he will arrange a call back. I got call back after 4-5 hours and they made me wait on the call for 15 mins and still the issue is not solved.. This happened twice with no solution.

      The worst service i have seen ever.. My account has money and i made all the changes which they wanted a week back and not able enjoy the services which i deserve. Instead i had call them twice a day seeking. A solution and wait online for 15 mins disturbing my personal/professional work.

      They have to be punished for this.

        I have ordered disv connection from https://dishtv.in on 12 april 2018 but on the same day i got a call from dish tv after that i dint receive any call, sms or email regarding my order.

        After ordering i dint receive any vic and reference number
        When i call to customer care they are no order receive receive, i wrote email to ceo but i dint get any response from him.

          I have done a recharge of 3 months with offer of 30 days extra by doing recharge of 3 months i do the recharge through dish tv website by clicking the offer and pay the amount according to the dishtv but they did not give me 30 days extra and also not full 13 3 months give me only 2 months and 15 days my vc number is[protected]. If dish tv does not give my extra 30 days i will never recharge my dish tv again and recommend that you should also never use dish tv very poor services of dish tv

            I am a dish tv user and i activated my new selections as per trai’s new framework my tv got changed to some similar pack and i after login the website i have changed the package which i wanted to see. Then i got a message that the technician will come to change the alignment with free of cost. But this has done nearly 3-4 time now. Still no calls no technician has come.. And the issue is still existing. One of my selection is flowers tv. Also some hd channels.
            Again i repeated the same and nobody responded and i see the complaint status as closed... Recent complaint numbers:[protected],[protected]
            So please do the needful. My vc no. [protected] and mobile no is [protected].
            The service of dishtv has gone very cheap... With cheating mentality..

              Sir, i bought a dish online on april 5, 2019 from dish tv's site. The company offered me a promise within 24 hours. Although i have complained to customer care several times and sent a complaint via e-mail, i have not received a clear response from them.                 I have applied for a new dishtv connection on 31.03.2019 via dishtv website. The booking installation reference number is [protected] with token no: 651959. The request was closed within 2 minutes by service team for which i have a message which says i requested for closure (First lapse). Dishtv people told it will be refunded automatically, not refunded (2nd lapse). They asked me to write a mail to [protected]@dishtv.in for a refund, done not refunded (3rd lapse). Called up umpteen number of times and dishtv people are disconnecting the call (4th lapse).

                  My dishtv with the vc [protected] is not working since 01/04/2019. I still have balance in my account and my next recharge is on 07/06/2019. My tv screen is displaying "102 no account balance". I have switched on and switch off the receiver so many times as per the customer care instructions. Customer care is instructing to change the channel to 96. But from this screen i am not able to change my channels. I am attaching a picture of the tv screen also. Kindly do the needful. Kindly rectify the problem and solve it. Frankly worst service of dish tv no proper response from customer care even though they don't know how to speak with customers.

                    I raised ticket for choice of channel on 4th and 5th april 2019 consecutively. Dishtv gave tocken for their technician to visit and realign antenna with 24 hrs. It's already more than 7 days now. They neither sent technician nor replying on customer care support. The only phrase i hear is "system is under upgradation, call after some time". Moreover they raised subscription amount from 394rs to 660rs and preponed switch off date from 24th april to 15th apr 2019.

                      I have been charged full amount for the last 1 months of my dishtv pack but it is not providing full channels
                      Almost half of the channels is missing and on complaining the technician arrives and fix it but it remains only for 15-20 minutes..                         As per trai regulations, i selected the pack which i needed on april 30th itself. Instead of my options, they gave me channel and pack which are irrelevant to my options. I selected only tamil and english channels. Instead they gave tamil, marathi, malayalam and hindi channels. I desperately called them more than 20 times to change to my pack. They all were telling that they would resolve it immediately. I complained through mail, app and phone. Nothing has happened. Last they told me that you have to change your pack only through app and internet. I tried that too. Their application is not working. Frustration is the result. Before trai regulations, i haven't experienced such problems for the past 10 years with dishtv. Now it is intolerable. Kindly do necessary action.

                          My dish tv vc no [protected]
                          Rmn [protected] recharged through online net banking on 12/4/19 of rs 589 only but my dish tv account has not been credited while the money has been deducted from my axis account.
                          I also called and sms and switched off and on the tv set top box and kept on channel 96 for more than 15 mins but to no avail... The amount has been deducted from my axis account but the dish account has not been credicted so please help and do the needful at the earliest

                            Dish Tv Company had been not customer support last 10 days i was registered the complaint but still know not yet rectification. Day today i have been following Customer care, now they give local technical person {Mr. Malaravan -coimbatore-tamilnadu-india}contact number but they didn't pick my calls every moment so I have like to go and registered the complaint in Consumer Affaires and Consumer Court.
                            Very very poor and worst services. I and our peoples all so hesitate to that company{DISH TV}

                              I have been migrated to a best fit plan by DishTV without my consent.The plan is the worst ever plan and doesn't have the channels that i watch regularly.So, i want to modify the pack and add channels/bouquets that are relevant for me. Every time i do it on the app or the dish tv web account, i get a token number with a message that the antenna needs to be re-aligned and that a dish tv personnel will visit us to do so. Its been a week but nothing has happened.i have also sent an email to the customer Care but of no use. I just feel like getting this connection disconnected and move to a different service provider.

                                When any channel is tuned it automatically display only channel no 2001. Ultimately i could not see any of my contracted channels. But tuning any channels above 2001 the screen goes to that channel. I could not tune channel 96. When i tune channel 96 it automatically displays channel 2001 only. I could not resolve the problem even after switching off set up box and switching on again.

                                  I've complain many times that 2-3 news channels not showing on my connection for which I've paid... every time I call to customer service they told me toh switch off and on... but not showing both of channels

                                  And I could think what is possible reasons behind that... Both News channel showing real news... Not like fake ones like Zee news Aaj tak ABP... And its coincidence that that Dishtv is a part of zee entertainment.

                                    We are not able to add or view channels due to non re alignment of the dish, we have requested many times but they have not send their service person to clear the issue,

                                      On 9th april, 2019 made payment through online for dth new connection and for the same i did not received any confirmation or call and still connection not given kindly do the needful on priority.

                                      Have tried to call and email the customer service several times, but they have no records. Please refund my money back.
                                      I am going with another provider.

                                        installation and service level of dish tv

                                        Pls note the dishtv was installed at my house on 7th april, 2019. At the time of booking it was informed to me that hdmi cable would be provided to me but the technician has not given the same. Upon checking he said he will give in a day or two, i had raised a compliant on 8th april to the customer service team of dishtv but till date no reply from them.
