I have two complaints. One dominos outlet and second about the female staff who took my order.
1. I made payment with my debit card. The amount was rs. 162.84, but the female staff punched rs. 163 and swiped the card. When i asked why did you swiped extra money she replied rounded off to next rupees. My question is why to round off to next rupees?
I understand that in case of cash payment to tender exact change is not possible always, but i am paying through swipe machine where exact amount can be paid. Why did you charge extra 16 paise to the customer?
It is not about 16 paise she has charged, but it is about ethics. If you are doing such practice, it means you are making extra rs. 15, 000 - 20, 000 illegally, which means it is fraud to the customer.in my experience, particularly this dominos store does such of malpractices. This is my 2nd or 3rd complain about the same dominos store regarding the rupees change. My question still remains the same, if i am paying through swipe machine why to charge extra money, since swipe machine allows to swipe the exact amount even if the amount is in paise?
My second complaint is,
2. When i made to understand your female staff, she made running comment when i was about to leave the counter. I mean, she didn't say anything on my face, but i was about to leave the counter she said, "kahan kahan se aa jate hain!!!"
So insulting and rude statement. It means, if the customer is educated and raises questions against malpractices then your representative makes such statement. Even she wanted to make such statement, at least she should have made assure that i have left the counter completely and distant enough not to listen her running comment. The society i belong to, passing running comment in itself an offense. And secondly, passing such rude comment. Not acceptable. Customers are willing to pay high price at retails like dominos just because of service. If the service is poor then there is no difference between street hawkers and multi million dollar companies like dominos. I will make sure that every social media platform knows the incident. Believe me, i am educated and resourceful enough to spread the word all around the social media.
