        I had booked 4 tickets from Goa to Delhi for the wrong date which was one month away and immediately after realising this mistake I called Air Asia which was the airline and I got help to cancel the flights. The airline told me that since these were SME fare tickets and not normal economy, they would only charge me 100/- rupees per passengers and 23, 188 rupees was transferred to EaseMyTrip. EMT only processed 10, 504 and the remainder has been with the back end team since June 22nd. Everytime I call in they tell me to wait for 24-48 for the refund of the remainder 12, 000 and that never happens. I have asked to speak to a supervisor multiple times but no one calls back in the promised duration or ever. EMT keeps advising that this was due to the airline however I called the airline and within they gave me an email confirmation and verbal confirmation of the cancellation charges and refund amount which I have forwarded to EMT for further help from my end however again today I am asked to wait 24-48 hours.

        I do not understand that as a consumer, why are we being treated like this? Why would anyone want to use EMT moving forward? And why do your representatives have no clue what is going on??

        I need a resolution on this ASAP.

        PNR is DURD2S, the escalation number provided by you is not visible. I called EMT today and spoke to a rep named Raman Rajput who said the remainder amount of 10400 has been initiated by the airline on July 14th, could you please confirm these details? As I have not received any sort of text or email about this.
        Team is there any update in regards to this yet?

        it has now been over a month and EMT is least interested to assist me since nobody has called me or seems to know what is going on. Is my next best option consumer court?

          I have booked a multi city flight ticket through ease my trip, tickets booked were for 2 different airline. When I submitted my basic information like name, age, contact details Indigo airlines picked all the details correctly but there was a mistake in name on the Go Air ticket it read my name as "Rajat Rajat" instead of "Rajat Verma" first when i contacted the EMT customer care they said that i will have to reach out to the airline for name change and i did the same. Go Air charged me extra Rs.1900 for name change. Now this is not my fault why should i pay extra money to the airline. If it would have been my fault while booking the tickets the same should have been highlighted by Indigo as well but my Indigo ticket is perfect then how did Go Air picket my name incorrectly. Even after sharing multiple email to EMT there is no response.

          After I raised the complaint, a company social media executive immediately contacted me and issued a partial refund. It was because of her I got the issue resolved otherwise the customer care team had sent this case for a toss.

              Hi,

              I had booked a spicejet return flight from Bangkok to Delhi for 26th June 2022 03:45 AM via EaseMyTrip.

              While booking I had paid infant charges for my 6 month old baby. Upon arriving at the airlines check-in counter in Bangkok, I was notified that the infant charges were not paid/reflected in the Spicejet system which was a complete surprise since i had clearly paid the amount and thus, had the traveller details in the ticket.

              But, I had to pay the addtional infant charges of 1435 baht for the infact at such last minute which caused a lot of inconvenience and hassle.

              I had raised the query with Spicejet nodal office and got the invoice for the amount paid in cash.

              So, I ended up paying double charges for the infant due to EaseMyTrip not paying the airlines charges for infant despite taking it from customer.

              I have been raising the concern to refund the additional amount paid at the check-in counter to the customer care of EaseMyTrip since more than 7 days and it has been a real disappointment with the way query/concern has been addressed with no real intent to resolve the issue and refund the amount.

              Seems like strategy is to keep dragging the customer and make him frustrated for his money. This is really shocking disappointing and pathetic from such a organization.

              Kindly help and refund the additional amount paid.

              Thanks for looking into the concern.

              As discussed over call couple of days back, it has been a very unpleasant experience the way this refund issue has been handled by the customer support. There has been more than 15 mail threads exchanged but it seems there is no intent to solve the issue and it is all about making customer frustrate and harass.

              As per communication, it was committed that refund of Rs 1600 would be done the next morning i.e yesterday 7th July 2022 but there has been no update on it afterwards. Was that also a way to pacify a customer but not really intending to resolve the complaint?

              On second thoughts, I would prefer a complete refund as I do have shared all the necessary invoices for the amount paid to spicejet for the additional infant charges. Whatever issue is there seems to be between spicejet and EaseMyTrip and for that logically customer should not be made to face the harassment and keep chasing you guys.

              Kindly consider and refund the amount of Rs 3253 paid at the check-in counter and for which the authentic invoice has been shared here and customer support multiple times.

              Expecting some quick action on it and no further harassment.

                I did a train booking on 21st May 2022 and due to some issues it was rejected and also recieved mail regarding that,
                Booking ID : EMT99207739 Booking Status : Rejected

                Also stating that : Rs.3426.75 has been processed in your account. It takes 3-4 working days for refunded to reflect in your account.

                I wait till 7 days and call them they said payment gateway has some issue that will be fixed and they will provide refund soon. And then i call them so many times they always says that wait till 2 days and so on still not received refund after more than 1 months and 13 days..

                Kindly look into this matter and please stop these fake company so that normal people can also use the online services.

                    But after the Payment done, The executive call & ask for extra payment of Rs.4000/- on Call.

                        I have a complaint regarding my refund from flight booking portal Easemytrip.com

                        I booked a flight from Easemytrip.com on 20th June and by mistake I booked a flight for different sector than what I was supposed to. So I called Easemytrip.com to cancel the booking for which I paid 74840 and they said that I will get the refund amount of 62044 after deducting charges as following:
                        Airline Charges: 2500/- (per passanger)
                        Easemytrip Convinience fees: 699/- (per passanger)

                        Total charges for 4 passangers: (2500+699) * 4 = 12796/-

                        I waited for 4 days and I called them on 24th June to know the status and they told me that it is still in process and they still hasn't initiated the refund and they told me I will get an update within 24 hours but I got nothing so I called them again the next day and they said the same thing and said that their senior will call within the next 24 hours and I still got nothing and same thing happened for another two days I called them 4 times and I didn't get any response so I mailed them for my concern and then I got a call on 28th June from Mr Kartik Singh (senior supervisor from Easemytrip) and this time they said the charges will be 14000 (approx per passanger) I argued with them and then He said they will charge 12800 per passanger. They are charging 38404 more than what they promised.

                        So i request the authorities look into this matter and help me

                        My credit card company which I used is also going to charge me for not paying my bills which I request Easemytrip to pay. Because it's their fault.

                        My work is totally stopped becuse they still haven't processed the refund
                        I request the authorities to please help me to get a resolution on this

                          We bought tickets from easemytrip and asked them to reissue my return ticket from 1st of July to 29 June but unfortunately they was sent me a confirmation email about 29 July and it’s supposed to be 29 June and I was give approval to them, once I received ticket the date is 29th July. When I was asked them to pls correct the date then they ask me again money for change the date. I have all proof in written.

                            The following flight was booked for Senior Citizens one of whom is a 93 year old woman, going on a religions pilgrimage to Tirupati, was rejected.

                            While the senior citizens understand that the airlines concerned rejected it, the old people used your website to book tickets. Now the Prices have gone up.
                            The increase in price, as you made the old senior citizens (93 year old woman) for half a day and did not even care to communicate the rejection on SMS, has resulted in an increase in flight prices that now the Sr. Citizens have to bear. This is a huge burden on somebody who is subsisting on a merger savings.
                            Your customer service and company have shown utter disregard and insensitivity towards sr. citizens, especially a 93 year old woman planning on pilgrimage. This is extremely sad, discouraging and repulsive.
                            You have communicated no concerns for their age and financial situation as retained and non-earning old people, and instead mentioned that your company will be at loss if you provide any discount.
                            I wonder how an amount that would be a loss to a big company like EaseMyTrip, will even be berable by non-earning sr.citizens?
                            I wonder if the only way is to open a consumer case and demand compensation for the 93 year old woman and the other two senior citizens.

                              Booking ID - EMT72650526, PNR - E5I2JL flight booked from MAA To RDP.

                              During pandemic time our flight was cancelled by the airlines and they told they have added the booking amount in credit shell.
                              Now when I am going to use the credit shell it says me to contact with respective booking partner from where the ticket was made.

                              I conveyed this message several time to EasemyTrip customer care and first few times they told they will be refunding the booking amount in my bank but now they are telling that they are communicating with airlines and reply me back once they will get reply from airlines .

                              It has been going like this since last few months and my 8.5K rupees get stuck.

                              Even after that also if I consider you statement is true then please let me know how much time you need to check with the airlines ???

                                This is regarding the refund for flight ticket cancellation amount pending for PNR YCG24.

                                I have written multiple times on your email id, your personnel Dharmendra is not providing the resolution. Last time i.e. on 02 May 2022, he had said it would be completed in a week but that was not yet completed.

                                Ticket was booked through Tapzo, but Tapzo is now closed. Also, I have a confirmation from the Airline, ticket was refunded in April 2021 to Easemytrip.

                                Kindly provide the refund urgently.

                                  I have booked a round trip flights from Ahmeadbad to Berlin for my mother who is 70 years old and have hearing loss. She has a return flight on 30th June and vistara has changed departure time of frankfurt-delhi flight which cause time overlapping with my first flight and by the time my mom land in frankfurt, the connecting flight would already took off.

                                  Since this is single PNR booking. is is EaseMyTrip's responsibility to do a rescheduling however since last 2 weeks they are only asking me to wait till they get response from airlines. I wonder what century are we live in? why can't they do instantly?

                                  My mother is travelling alone and as i said she is 70 years old with hearing loss. think about the consequences. there is only one week left and they ain't doing anything.

                                    Coupon code HDFCEMT was applied successfully for an instant discount of Rs. 1000 and while booking the flight ticket the amount was showing up the discounted one i.e. Rs 12238 but while making final payment it deducted the whole amount i.e. Rs 13238 without giving any discount. The Easemytrip customer care told on the first day of complaint itself that the issue will get resolved within few hours or max by same day itself but now it has been more than 3 days and the issue is still there. Easemytrip has not yet credited back the discount amount of Rs 1000 to my account yet.
