Hi,

I had booked an online return ticket for 3 ppl on 6th Jan'2012, from Bangalore - Ahmadabad from 10th Feb'2012 to 12th Feb'2012. In last step of booking, they deducted the amount from my bank ( transacting via Net Banking) Rs 23, 738 but displayed that flight is not available on same rates, thus booking failed and amount will be refunded soon.

Firstly, if ticket isn't available on same rates as displayed - WHY AMOUNT GOT DEDUCTED ? WHY NOT DISPLAYED THIS MESSAGE BEFORE TRANSACTION ?

Later I waited and raised an complaint on 9th Jan'2012 (after finally getting to speak to a customer service person who said, pls e-mail this; as we don't see these issues (??)). To my mail I received response that pls share your details in Prominent Note (My Bank Details) across booking reference ID 328QQ41EDQ2N. I did that immediately. I received no response and on call on 10th Jan'2012 - received response amount will be refunded in couple of hours.

Later again on no refund, I called and then they said by Thursday, 12th Jan'2012 your amount will be transacted back. I waited till thursday; but as expected no refund on thursday either.

Last I spoke to a lady 'Sonal' from easemytrip.com and she said you'll get your amount by Monday i.e. 16th Jan'2012. As of now, no return of my amount.

How can they keep my 23,738 Rs. for a failed booking for 10days ? If I go by bank rates, interest on same is approx additional 500 Rs. Who's going to be answerable to that ? Why after multiple follow ups and mental harassment my money is kept with them for nothing.

Lessons learnt - Pay 100/200 Rs more at other sites and stay clear of fighting for your own money which they literally snatched for nothing.

If I don't get my money back IMMEDIATELY, I will take it to court and plead to close this fraud site - www.easemytrip.com

    Very Bad experience from www.easemytrip.com

    This is the second time. Last time i had placed the request for cancellation, they did not cancel and charged me.

    This time i have made request for cancellation, they say that it is a non-refundable ticket. Whereas at the time of booking ticket, it was mentioned as refundable with Rs 750 charges.


    Very Bad service.

    I will never buy ticket from easemytrip.com in future.

      I had booked tikects from CCU - Del - CCU from easemytrip.in wherein I had paid Rs. 15920/- for CCU - DEL (Spicejet, PNR LB12EM) & 15460/- for DEL-CCU (Airindia, PNR Z5SP8T) respectively. on 27.07.2011

      Due to some reason I requested for cancellation of CCU - DEL tickets and I was informed that Rs.4000/- would be deducted for cancellation on 22.09.2011 of the tickets (whereas Spicejet only deducts 3000/- for cancellation) and would receive Rs.11920/- as refund, anyways I went ahead for the cancellation and I received Rs.11292/- on 23.09.2011 in my card account as refund, after much persual they said that the caost of ticets were Rs. 15460/- only and they can only refund Rs.168/- more to the account on 11.10.2011.

      This means that they have totally refunded me Rs. 11460/- instead of Rs. 11920/-. After that I have written several times to them about the balance refund but didnot received the same. Even They have stopped replying to my mails.

      Its a real harressment that they charge more for cancellation than the airlines, and after that also they are not refunding the full amount.

      I feel I should move ahead in filing complaint to the consumer forum against these people, for my refund as well as the compensation for the same.

        I had booked my Tickets thru EasemyTrip.com and Easemytrip.in. Somehow due to change in travel plans I had to cancel my Tickets. The cancellation was confirmed by Easemytrip vide a mail to me but after hefty cancellation charges (much higher than other sites) The tickets were cancelled on 11th Sept'11 and they assured me that the refund will be processed in few days.....but SURPRISE SURPRISE today is 22nd Sept'11 and till now the refund has not been credited to my account..There is one Mr. Rishab in their refunds section for payments made thru netbanking, who has been LYING to me since past 4 days that "sir ur cheque has been prepared and sent for deposition in your account". Yesterday he even told me that sir I am mailing you the details of your refund with cheque no etc......BUT GUESS WHAT....the mail also has not come till now....He is a one BIG LIAR and so is this site. Today I have called 4 times to their refund section at [protected] and 4 times they have DISCONNECTED the call after making me hold the line for 10 mins and more every time. None of the time This so called liar Mr. Rishab spoke to me...Maybe he has run out of excuses or ideas to prolong the refund. PEOPLE I request you all not to book your tickets with this site as in case you cancel your tickets for whatsoever reason, EaseMytrip will take you for ride....They are a totally UNPROFESSIONAL SITE, TOTALLY MISMANAGED AND GRAVELY LACKING IN CUSTOMER SERVICE ETIQUETTE. They are also so so so much technologically backward company.....I do not know when the refund (Rs. 24000 something) will be given to me but pray and say everybody to BEWARE of Easemytrip.....Do not book tickets of any kind from them.

          I booked a to and fro ticket from Bangalore to Kolkata with easemytrip.com, Onward flight was spicejet on Date 12th Aug, 2011 and return flight was on date 16th Aug,2011 of Kingfisher airline.

          We got the confirmed PNR for both of the flights by easemytrip.com and we flew by the spicejet flight to Kolkata. While return when we went to Kingfisher Check-in counter Kingfisher Airlines authority told us that our PNR number mentioned in the Ticket is invalid and they can not see our name in the system.

          Me and my wife tried to call to customer care executive and I tried a lot but for a long time no one picked up the phone. My wife was seriously ill and we wanted to reach back home as early as possible.

          When finally customer care executive picked up the phone we told the problem and request them to confirm the flight and they put us on hold until our flight left the airport. For an hour or so we were talking and requesting to them to confirm the flight.

          After we were totally hopeless of not getting same flight for that day, we asked for any available flight for any other flight that day. Instead they gave us option to take flight for next day. We had no other option, but to agree.
          So finally we got the tickets for next day flight early morning. Then, we demanded hotel room also for that night. But, they did not provide us for any accommodation. So, we had to sit whole night from 7 pm till 6am next morning at the airport only. It was real harassment for us as my wife also had fever and all this trouble made her condition more worse.

          When we reached Bangalore, we even had to miss our office as it was late to attend it. So, both o[censored]s had to take leave.

          So, we demand an apology from them and Rs 2 Lakhs as compensation for all the mental and physical tortures we had to undergo.

          Please do the needful.

            Hi,

            I was booking my ticket at around 1:45 PM for Delhi - Bhopal - Delhi round trip. After completion of the financial transaction I got network error and did not get any confirmation for the booking. I dialed your helpline number 43131313 and had a discussion with Mr. Ashish. He given me confirmation that the transaction was not completed hence I did not get the confirmation. Again I have booked the ticket and done the same transaction.

            Suddenly I got confirmation for both transactions and the amount was debited to me twice. Again I reached your helpdesk on phone and reported the issue to Mr. Vikas. Primarily he was also not able to track the transactions, however, He than forwarded the call to Ms Kavita and she said that, she will take up the issue with higher officials and will send me confirmation for reverting one transaction.

            Kindly look into the issue and arrange to revert one transaction immediately. Transaction detail is as under :-

              I had used the website of easemytrip.com to book my airticket for travel to delhi from Mumbai (i did the booking on 5th May 2011), upon making the payment online from my account i got the message that the booking is not confirmed and when i called up the call centre no (the call was attended after i would have called for 10-12 times) for understanding they told me that they will refund me the amount and post this conversation i got a mail from them seeking my account details for facilitating the refund of the booking amount (i reverted to them on 6th May 2011) and today after more than a month and 5 day i still have not received my refund from easemytrip. this is really pathetic and i will ensure i do not use ease my trip ever for domestic or international travel and if my queries are not solved immediately i will also get into litigation with them.

                  This company easemytrip.in are biggest spammer. I have complaint more then 3 times to them . once i got to the manager named Arun who gave me his number [protected] . and another time rajesh each promised to close the sms but still i keep receiving sms from them at odd hours. Please stop these sms Now. I have even send email to owner of ease my trip Nishant pitti. but even he did not respond back or stop these sms.

                  My no is in DND from last 2 years, I dont recive any sms or calls from anyone other then you guys.

                  I have complaited to Arun [protected] he said i wont receive any sms in future and still i got sms, then i complaited to rajesh in night shift and he did same, I called your Owner [protected] Nishant he did not pick up the call. I talked to some manager on [protected] and she assured i wont receive any sms, all this has been like 30 days now. Still i keep receiving sms from your company. Stop them Now. I dont want any call or sms from you guys.
                  horrible service.i booked my ticket for 05th june 2011. amount got debited but fools siiting at call centre don't have a clue. now no tickets available for this flight .
                  go to hell and i will start negative campaign for you guys surely.

                    I tried booking my ticket from the site easemytrip.com.During the transaction I was charged the ticket amt of Rs.5589 but it was unsuccessful.It happened twice.The day was 19th,time 11.56pm and 20th 12.04 am.This money as shown in my pass book was debited in my account.I even had a talk with their customer executives and they said it was cancelled, which is not refunded till date.I tried to call them contact them through e-mails, etc but they didn't reply or refund my money till now.I want a strict action against this.Pl advice.

                      Now easemytrip.com in their home page made advertisement about lowest fare challenge. While booking some ticket i got a chance to claim the lowest fare challenge. As mentioned in the add i mailed the screen shot to the e-mail id mentioned in their ads. Almost 2 weeks lapsed, they were not acknoledged the claim. From their support cell get reply that they will check it and that too without any name. what should we can do against such fraud advertisements.

                        Still not received the refund.Called on[protected] on[protected] ,spoke to Mr Sumit and came to know that a refund cheque has been released ,Chq no 071163 of Icici bank .Still refund not received.

                        Received a call on[protected] from Ms Arzoo from[protected] at 3.08 pm and was told that she has received my bank account details and refund will be processed by Monday[protected] and WILL RECEIVE A MAIL CONFIRMING THAT REFUND PROCESS HAS BEEN STARTED .NO CONFIRMATION MAIL RECEIVED.

                        But today i.e .[protected] , i recieved a call from[protected] informing me that to get the refund process completed , i need to reply to a mail which will be sent to my mail id which was given at the time of booking i.e. [protected]@yahoo.co.in ,asking me to disclose my bank account details, and after i send my bank account details, the refund would be made within 3-4 working days , and that too specifically friday[protected].
                        I would like to inform that i have not received any mail asking my bank account details and the refund was not provided tooo.
                        Then on[protected],I had called up[protected] to inquire about my mail.I was told my Mr Sumit @[protected] that no mail has been received and I need to reply to a mail which Mr Sumit will send me on[protected] and if i reply to the mail within day end @[protected] ,which would help in initiating refund process and i would get a refund by[protected],i.e. wednesday .To my expectation, no mail was recieved.
                        I still am sending my bank account details

                          Easemytrip.com is supposed to be in some fradulent service where they cancel the tickets but refuse to credit the amount to customer's account. I had cancelled my tickets on 27/01/10 vide PNR no. YHPS9D however they are yet not processing the refund and denying to arrnage to credit my card account.

                          Please help.

                          Hello,
                          I would like to report a complaint on the discount I was supposed to get on my billing amount.
                          I made two international flight bookings and I wanted to cancel one of the bookings made and when I called your contact support, they asked me to write an email regarding this issue and told me that I would get a reply by mail, telling me about my cancellation charges, as I had enquired about. It has been a week since I sent this email and I have not heard back from your contact support yet.

                          Also, on my second booking, there was a coupon (coupon code- EMT2017) provided from which I was told that I would get a discount 7736 rupees on my on total amount but after booking my ticket I got a discount only for 600 rupees. I immediately called easemytrip contact support regarding this issue and they asked me to call them back tomorrow and send a mail ahead. I sent the email and I called again the next day and they said they would solve my problem by the evening of the same day but I have not heard back from your manager yet.

                          The cancellation enquiry on my second flight was made yesterday and the issue regarding my discount was brought to your attention when I had booked that flight ticket a week back.

                          Please see to that my issue is resolved as soon as possible as this has been very inconvenient for me as I have paid a very big sum of money for my tickets.

                            I made a flight ticket booking on 31st July. because of some reason there is a change in the plan so i canceled the ticket on 5th of August. They promised the refund amount Rs 2320 will be credited back in my account within 10-15 days. But still now the amount is not credited. even after calling the customer care on[protected] several times (almost 20-30 times) there is no proper response. All the time they are collecting the contact number and inform me as they will contact me within 1Hr, But till date the amount is not refunded to my account.

                              Easemytrip have proved that they are a fraud company. I am afraid that i used my credit card to book a ticket on their unsecured website to book a ticket from Bangalore to Jaipur on a GoAir flight for 27th Aug for Rs.6777 which was showing on their website since morning. All the transaction / payment went as usual and i got a confirmation email also from easemytrip. After 30 mins i got a call from one of their executive demanding to pay 206 rupees more as the taxes have been changed. I disagreed to that saying this is illogical when it is been not shown on their website, if they have problem with their services they have to either sort it out or sholuld not allow a customer to book a ticket or complete the transaction. I waited for the next 2 hours to see if the status on their site changes, to my suprise it remained same and meantime i spoke to their another team member and the supervisor. They finally started talking very rude and informed that they will cancel the ticket and refund the amount, if i want to book a ticket i need to do it again. I asked the supervisor that i want to talk to a Manager but he said he is last point i can talk to and he is incharge for all the easemytrip booking. This quite unproffessional guys, we have to face such frauds in a developing country like India. No ownership, no solution, no logic only 'dadagiri'. I have sent a few emails to easemytrip bosses that i got from internet, i am hoping to see a responce from them and i am not sure when i will get my refund back !!!.

                              The person who has commented above is an ex-employee of Easemytrip.com, he is engaged in many fraudlant activites . He was working in tours department of EMT . We have already launched FIR against the same person and will be caught soon..                               ONE OF MY FRIENDS RECOMMENDED THEIR WEBSITE SO I BOOKED RETURN TICKETS FOR 3 ON SPICE JET FROM DELHI TO VARANASI (DEP ON 6TH AND RETURN ON 9TH OF MAY...) the website showed 13920 total fare ...i booked and paid money through my credit card.
                              I got a E ticket and a booking coonfitrmation which mentioned out bound flight as SG116 and inbound flight as SG113. My credit card was charged 13920 Rs.
                              I got one sms from easemy trip which said my flght from delhi to varanasi which read as below:
                              "Easy trip Planners Pvt Ltd- Your ticket is confirmed for DEL-VNS, dep on 06/05/11 at 9;35 Hrs, Arr on 06/05/11 at 11:10 hrs PNR- SG-L7LJDR"
                              I got another sms from Spice Jet which read as below :
                              " Dear Guest, Your SpiceJet PNR is L7LJDR for 09 May 2011, 11:40 AM from VNS to DEL. We look forward to having you on board"
                              I called up easemytrip and enquired about the confirmation ...A lady told me that both the flights were confirmed.
                              I got a confirmation mail and a Eticket mail confirming the fare and both the flights.
                              But when I tried to use the PNR number for Tracking in Spice Jet, i was shocked, spice jet said there was only one way ticket booked.
                              I got a call from easemytrip saying that I have been charged only fare for one way and if I want to travel both ways, I had to pay 13920 more for one more time, then only I will get my ticket...After some time, somebody spoke to me from EMT and said ' we will cancel your ticket and refund the money, you will have to pay cancellation charges'"
                              Even after requesting a lot they said "you can do whatever ou want but we will not release your ticket"

                              Interesting things is that they have booked my return journey one way...how can i return if I dontgo to vranasi itself ? THIS SHOWS THAT THESE ARE CHEATS OPERATING AND TRYING TO BLACKMAIL CUSTOMERS...
                              ONE OF MY FRIENDS WAS A REGULAR CUSTOMER ...HE IS ASHAMED TO SEE THIS INCIDENT AS HE HIMSELF BOOKED THIS TICKET FOR ME FROM HIS LAPTOP...HE WILL NOT USE THIS SERVICE AGAIN...
                              IN INDIA, GOVT SHOULD TAKE NOTE OF THESE FRAUDSTERS AND PUT THEM BEHIND BARS...

                              I had cancelled this ticket PNR# JMLFBY (booked through easemytrip) from Ranchi Airport on 9th Novemeber, 2010 as my connecting Jet Airways flight from Ranchi to Kolkata was delayed.

                              It's more than 7 months and I still haven't received my money.(Original ticket#[protected], Exchanged ticket#[protected].)

                              I contacted Kingfisher airlines and they say that they have refunded the amount to ease my trip on Jan13, 2011.

                              It's more than 7 months, I haven't got the money nor does easemytrip respond to mails.
