Its extremely dis-appointing to communicate with booking agency easemytrip.com (web portal/mobile application).Its extreme level of harassment by this booking agency while providing wrong information about airline, not made cancellation of flight on request .Denying refund against medical emergency .It reflects melafide intentions of this booking agency to grab customer's hard earned money. In-human activity of this booking agency is non tolerable. Already escalated this concern to Air canada case # CAS[protected]N5G5M(dt.12/12/2023), Air India with case #[protected]dt.02/12/2023) & 0370288(dt.12/12/2023).All required documents already been submitted to company by e-mail. Ease my trip is running away from his responsibilty. No resolution against easemytrip complain # EMT_[protected] till yet.

There are showing their melafide intentions to grab my fund and denying my refund on health medical emergency basis.All documents already been submitted as per requirement of airlines and easemytrip(booking agency). However, as informed you earlier that the ticket is Non-Refundable in accordance with the airline fare rules and upon verification, the medical waiver policy has been denied by the respective airline. Easemy trip seems involved in fraudulent activities. Today i got a call from their accountant named Sumit(Mobile # 07303156048) who asked me payment transaction ID which i not disclosed and when i enquired to get his verification he dropped call. I called upon easemy trip customer support team but their indifferent behaviour disappointed me. It seems their team is corrupted and involved in fraudulent activities to cheat their customers.
Further i escalated my concern to airline directly and hopefully they will resolve it. But booking agency easemytrip lost its credibility.

Refund due against medical emergency-Air canada case # CAS-7086414-N5G5M(dt.12/12/2023), Air India case # 01283453(dt.04/12/2023) & 0370288(dt.12/12/2023). Already sent my hospitalisation file to Air-Canada, Air-India and their booking agencies easemytrip, reservations air Canada as per their requirement to process my refund against cancellation of booking(very much in advance) but instead of repeated requests not got refund till yet even after 30 days of cancellation of booking. Made a complaint to Public Grievances Portal.

It seems this company is corrupted and has no brain. This company provided one email ID with different names to communicate with CUSTOMERs to change statements for their own benefit and to make fool to CUSTOMERs.
It's extreme level of harassment by easemytrip.com. At every level their seniors are contradicting their words/statements.

This company must be blacklist. I will not spare this ### company at all and will do my best to get back my refund.

Attached copy herewith of their response reflects their melafide intentions.

    This complaint is regarding my air ticket refund (Booking ID - EMT[protected] against the cancellation made on 16th November 2023.

    I have been provided with an ARN[protected] based upon my refund request from easemytrip by their customer care executive (Mohini Solanki).

    The ticket was purchased from easemytrip.com and upon cancellation I received a mail informing me that the refund was initiated from their end on the same day itself i.e, 16th November 2023.

    They further informed us that the amount will be reflected on my account within a week after the refund process got initiated. However, the same has not been reflected in my account till date.

    However, the status of the ticket shows REFUNDED which has not happened yet. Hence, the information that has been provided in the website (link & screenshot attached) is misleading if not erroneous.

    This delay in refund against air ticket cancellation from EaseMyTrip has happened for the second time this year.

      On Wednesday, 25th October 2023, at 08:16 PM IST, I booked an air ticket through your website for a journey from the USA to India. The details of my booking were as follows:

      - Departure: EWR - Delhi - Ahmedabad by Air India Flight on 20th February 2023
      - Return: Ahmedabad - Delhi - JFK by Air India Flight on 22nd May 2023

      However, I regret to inform you that there was an error in the booking process. The website incorrectly selected my return date as 22nd February 2023, which I failed to notice at the time of payment. This resulted in a booking for a return on the wrong date, which is unreasonable for such a long-distance journey at a significantly higher cost.
      Upon discovering this error, I attempted to modify or reschedule my booking through your website. Unfortunately, the specific function for making such changes was not operational. Despite multiple attempts, I was unable to reschedule the booking. Furthermore, I could not find any contact information for your U.S. office on the website, leaving me with no alternative but to cancel the booking. I did so within 12 hours of making the initial reservation.

      According to the 24-hour flight cancellation rule, airlines are not supposed to charge any fees if the cancellation is made within 24 hours of booking.
      Even though Ease my trip have deducted Airline penalties of Rs. 5000/- and Convenience Fees Rs. 1, 798/- associated with Booking ID - EMT[protected], PNR - 6E3JEY.

      In spite of sending repeated communication requesting refund of Rs.6798/-company is not responding. To facilitate the resolution process and to escalate the matter with Air India request was also made to provide me with the communication received from Air India detailing the aforementioned charges. Having this documentation will assist me in presenting a comprehensive case.
      My experience with the company is very bad as their support team is also not aware about the policy. They are harassing customers and not giving refund.

      In addition, as you have faced the inconvenience, we are waiving the convenience and cancellation service of INR 1798/- + 1000/- which you will receive in your same mode of payment within the next 5-7 working days.

            I booked a flight for 15th December to Kolkata of spicejet airline. My PNR is L9SZ2C. Flight got delayed by airline by 15 hours or so and when I called spicejet airline directly they agreed to refund straight away as it was their fault and they refunded 100% amount to Easemytrip on 22nd November and 23rd November respectively. But Easemytrip only refunded only some amount. They also admitted that they have received refund from airline and told me to wait for 24-48 hours. This i have been listening 3-4 times now and even after 10 days or so they haven’t issued remaining amount. I have decided to file a case in consumer forum . I know they will say once again to wait for sometime.

              I was booking a flight from easemytrip. After submitting OTP the website shows something went wrong.
              I went to check the status of my bank account and saw that my money has been deducted.
              But no flight was book. No confirmation mail. Nothing.
              When will I get my money back.?

                Pathetic company with pathetic management and pathetic staff. The company has collected TCS from my parents in the month of June, 2023 and haven’t issued them TCS certificate even after 6 months.

                When I enquired with the company regarding the same in the month of September, 2023 then one of the representatives of the company namely Om Shukla informed me that the TCS will be available in 26AS statement online after mid October, 2023. But still even at the end of November, 2023 it is not available.

                Again enquired about the same in the month of November, 2023 and now the same guy is saying to check 26AS in mid January, 2024. Just bull ### their way. Even their twitter handle is not CREDible. Just copy pasting same bull ### response. PATHETIC.

                  Sir,
                  I booked a bus pathankot to newdelhi from easemytrip on 25 Nov 2023. Exact time of arrival bus is 8.45pm and totally delayed for 01 hours 45 minutes.
                  Bus was arrived on 10.30pm.
                  In this winter season we can't wait / stand 10 to 15 minutes in outside open area.

                    I had booked a flight ticket from Pune to Bhopal via Ahmedabad for November 14th, 2023. However, the airline, Indigo, cancelled the flight, and I received a full refund from them. Since I had booked the ticket through EaseMyTrip, I had to reach out to them to initiate the refund to my original mode of payment. They informed me that I would receive the refund within 10-12 working days, but even after making several calls and sending emails, I did not receive any positive response. Every time I called, I was told that there were issues with the payment gateway, and I would have to wait for another 10-12 days. It has been two months since the cancellation, and I have not received any money or proper communication from their team.

                    No Proper Communication has been done so far, the only call I have got was more of a fraud call who wanted to hack my phone.

                      I am writing to bring to your attention a grievous issue I have been facing with EaseMyTrip regarding the refund for a cancelled SpiceJet flight.

                      Details of the Booking:

                      SpiceJet PNR: DD1TMW
                      Route: Goa to Chennai
                      Total Refund Amount Confirmed by SpiceJet: Rs. 9654

                      I regret to inform you that despite SpiceJet confirming the full refund of Rs. 9654 and asserting that the amount has been processed to the EaseMyTrip account, I have been facing consistent obstacles in obtaining the complete refund from EaseMyTrip. The company, in response to my numerous follow-ups, insists that they have received only a partial payment from SpiceJet and are consequently offering a partial refund of Rs. 1926.

                      I have diligently followed up with EaseMyTrip on multiple occasions, providing them with all the necessary details and correspondence from SpiceJet confirming the full refund. Regrettably, their responses have been generic and unhelpful.

                      I would like to bring to your attention the following points:

                      1.SpiceJet has clearly confirmed the full refund of Rs. 9654.
                      2.EaseMyTrip's persistent claim of receiving only a partial payment is contradictory to the information provided by SpiceJet.
                      3.Despite my efforts, EaseMyTrip has failed to provide a satisfactory resolution or clarification for the partial refund amount.

                      I kindly request your esteemed forum to investigate this matter and facilitate a fair resolution. I believe that consumer rights should be protected, and companies must be held accountable for their actions. I am seeking your intervention to ensure that I receive the full refund amount of Rs. 9654, as rightfully confirmed by SpiceJet.

                      I am writing to bring a concerning incident to your attention regarding my recent experience with Easemytrip, and I believe it's essential to share this information with fellow consumers.

                      I had booked tickets through Easemytrip and subsequently requested a FULL refund due to the cancellation of a Flight by SPICEJET AIRLINES. To my dismay, the refund I received, amounting to Rs.8128, fell significantly short of the total claim of Rs.9654. Upon further investigation, I discovered that Easemytrip had deducted Rs.300 each for two tickets and Rs.499 each for two tickets, justifying the latter as "airline charges."

                      Interestingly, the respective airline, Spicejet, confirmed that they had processed a full refund of Rs.9654, exposing Easemytrip's unjustified deductions. This discrepancy points to a clear attempt by Easemytrip to exploit customers for financial gain, tarnishing their credibility and integrity in the process.

                      Despite my numerous communications with Easemytrip, they persistently misled me, initially claiming to have received only Rs.1926. It was only after raising a complaint with Consumercomplaints.in that Easemytrip finally processed the refund of Rs.8128. (Still short of Rs.1600)

                      This incident has left me deeply disappointed and frustrated with Easemytrip's unethical practices. I believe it is crucial for consumers to be aware of such behavior and consider alternative options when making travel arrangements. Easemytrip's actions demonstrate a lack of transparency and a willingness to take advantage of customers who may not have the means to contest such discrepancies.

                      I urge you and others in our community to exercise caution and reconsider using Easemytrip for future travel bookings. Let us collectively take a stand against such unscrupulous practices and protect our hard-earned money.

                      According to SpiceJet's email, they have already deducted airline charges amounting to Rs. 499 for each ticket and have credited this amount to your platform. However, upon reviewing my statement with your service, I noticed an additional deduction of Rs. 499 x 2, totaling Rs. 988.

                        Hereby i am writing this to get my full refund as my flight was cancelled on 15 th of October by the indigo airlines that was the trip from Srinagar to Ahmedabad via Chandigarh on 20 th of November, and as they have initiated full refund, but i am not getting the same from ease my trip.

                        As per the communication with ease my trip executive one time they have said that this deductions are of convenience fee after few days when i called them back that time they said this deductions are made from airlines and again after few days when i called them back at that time they said this deductions are of service fees. I also have all the recordings with the names of customer executives who are misleading me and not refunding me my money back.

                        after few days they have told me to mail on [protected]@easemytrip.com i have done that also but still i have not got my refunds of below mentioned amounts.

                        Again i would like to request ease my trip to Waive off my convinience fee & service fee & refund all the above mentioned deducted amount as soon as possible.

                        otherwise i have to go to court and file a case aginst this company for my hard earned money as i have all the recording of talk with all time misleading customer care executives.

                        EASEMYTRIP is looting the customer and one of the worst customer services when it comes to refund claims. The do not offer any sort of help and try their best to loot the money from customer. It is better to completely avoid EASEMYTIRP for any sort of booking. They are trying to make easy and fast money. I can tell you for sure that one of the companies last longer by cheating their own customers.

                          I paid 5200 rs for the ticket but no confirmation. They made me pay two times. Both times payment successful but no ticked booked.

                              I cancelled just 1 passenger's ticket out of 5 and in app or website login it shows partial cancelled as a 1 ticket. but without my knowledge easmystrip cancelled all 5 tickets by mistake and no information was given to passengers that tickets are cancelled. When all 5 passengers reached at airport that time they were shocked by air india employee who informed them that all 5 tickets are cancelled. I got email confirmation from easemytrip that we have processed cancellation for just 1 passenger but in reality they cancelled all 5 tickets with the airline without informing passegers in prior. I had to book another urgent flight which is double the cost which i paid previously. So I would expect this new ticket amount 1684 AED as a compensation along with the refund amount for 1 ticket.

                              I am not even asking compensation for mental harassment and problems which I had to go through because of easemytrip's mistake.

                              Last time you took 3 months to pay my refund which was supposed to be paid within 7-8 working days. Everytime you guyz are driving crazy to your customers.

                                I had done by booking for AirIndia flight through EaseMyTrip. My flight with Air India was scheduled for 29-Sep-2023. I called Air India to cancel the flight and they canceled it immediately with a confirmation. Air India suggested to reach out to EaseMyTrip for refunds.

                                I raised a refund request on 22-Sep-2023. They reverted after 10 days (once the flight had flown) on 2-Oct-2023 saying that your refund request had been rejected because the cancellation fee was higher than the ticket cost.

                                I had been asking for a cost breakup (cancellation fee higher than the ticket cost) but was never given a correct response. No refund was issued till now.

                                My PNR Number is 6RUFRQ. Booking ID: EMT[protected],
                                EaseMyTrip.com customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

                                  I purchased a flight ticket from Indore to Kolkata and return for 4 persons. Booking ID EMT[protected].
                                  I cancelled the ticket for 1 person (Bipasha Barat) on 21st Sep for which I received the refund amount of Rs 13121 in EMT wallet.
                                  I cancelled the ticket for another person (Swasti Barat) on 15th October. For this cancellation the amount is still not refunded to me.
                                  I sent several mails to [protected]@easemytrip.com but the issue is still not resolved.
                                  Please let me know when the refund amount will be credited to me.

                                    I have done bus booking for my guests on 23 October from ease my trip ..booking was confirmed ..so my guests were waiting for the bus but was not sure of bus no so when i called ease my trip for bus no details then they told me that the bus has been cancelled for some reason and the refunded my partial travelling amount but when i talked about my travel insurance and they said me to call acko ..so i called them but they refused me for the claim ..my guests were so mentally harassed they waited for 2 hours for the bus but the bus got cancelled and despite they did nothing only refunded my amount ...and insurance they refused for the claim for inconvience

                                      This is complained again easemytrip.

                                      I am a harrased customer

                                      My mother was to travel on 16th Oct from Jodhpur to Delhi.

                                      Few days back she developed congestion in throat and was recommended operation.

                                      As a result she could not travel.

                                      I submitted the doctor's prescription which clearly mentions surgery.

                                      First the customer care said the prescription need stamp of doctor. The prescription has doctors registration ID with Indian Medixal Association so at first place that should be enough.

                                      I got the stamped done as customer care was adamant.

                                      Now they have come with another excuse that the prescription should have bed rest mentioned.

                                      If the prescription it is mentioned surgery does that not enough that patient will need bed rest.

                                      Please intervene and get Claim reimbursed.
