Denied full refund even after the flight was cancelled by the Qatar Airlines

I have booked a flight from MAA to ATL Via Doha on 12 Mar 2024 with booking id: EMT[protected] from Ease My Trip. On 14 Mar 2024, I have got 2 emails with first one mentioned as one of the sector DOH-ATL was cancelled by the Qatar Airlines and the next email was another flight been automatically rescheduled for the next day by the Qatar Airlines itself. Airlines has refunded the cancelled flight amount but easemy trip is not refunding

Booking ID - EMT[protected], PNR - D4NYJE for your flight booked from DEL To BOM on Thu-07Mar2024
indigo airlines is reimbursing the whole booking amount then why easemy trip is not returning my money. Flight was cancelled by indigo. kindly find attached mail received from indigo and tax invoices....

My Go First flight from New Delhi to Abu Dhabi for Booking id: EMTAE940805 was cancelled on 03 May 2023 and refund has not been initiated by easemytrip. They are saying that refund from the airline has not been received yet. Go First had sent me an email stating that they have initiated my refund to the agent but easemytrip has stopped responding to my mails and calls.

    I made a booking with easemytrip and the final amount being shown was ₹25883 after all taxes and discounts. When I proceeded with the transaction, the amount charged was ₹26833. But after the transaction the final booking confirmation page also showed the amount as ₹25883. I have screenshots of the same. When I told them thay are quoting different break up and saying ₹26833 is the amount that was shown. I communicated with them that the amount being shown on the booking page before proceeding to transaction should be same as the amount actually being deducted. How can they change the amount on the transaction page? The final e-ticket that I received on my email is showing the final amount as ₹27333. This is not the amount charged. They are not consistent with the transaction amount. Booking page showed ₹25883, amount deducted was ₹26833 and the amount shown in ticket is ₹27333. This is how they are cheating their customers. No consistency at all.

    As mentioned earlier, airfares are subject to change dynamically due to factors such as demand, booking timing, and seat availability. Prices can fluctuate quickly, sometimes within minutes. Additionally, please send us a direct message with your contact or booking details at [protected] so that we can assist you promptly
    So according to you the total amount is ₹26833 as per fare change. Then why was the final amount on the ticket shown as ₹27333. And I was not shown any fare change message. Even if the fare was changed at the last moment, that should have been displayed on your website while proceeding for the transaction like other websites do. Only when I mailed, filed a complaint I am being told that fares changed. The fare did not change you have a lousy policy of charging any random amount from your customers. First you showed ₹25883 as the final amount after 2500 first time bonus and then you charged a totally different amount, ₹950 more. You should have shown the chargeable amount on the final page, even the transaction page showed ₹25883 as the transaction amount, the screenshot if which I do not unfortunately have as how was I to know you will change chargeable amount. I have added a screenshot of my ticket on which ₹27333 is mentioned as final amount but this is a completely new figure. Please stop cheating customers.

      I recently cancelled my flight from imphal to delhi as per the rules and given days i still haven't received my refund they told me that it was due to my bank but i talk with my bank and they told me they don't received any amount. On the day of my cancellation EaseMyTrip didn't ask for the my repayment method or my bank details i wonder how they refund it and the ARN number they give were also invalid kindly help me with my refund. i share screenshot of my bank details too but they want it in pdf.

          Dear Sir
          I have booked round trip from Dubai to Kolkata ( Dt 09/04/2024 to 21/04/2024) but due to some constraints I need to reschedule return ticket from 21/04/2024 to 18/04/2024. I continuously follow up with easemytrip care team for reschedulement charges but they intentionally give misinformation. I have already asked them about the bifurcation of charges but they are reluctant to give the same. Today the ticket for 18.04.2024 for same airlines and same timing from Kolkata to Dubai is Approx 20299/- but they are charging me Approx 30000/- excluding their charges and ask me to pay Approx Rs14000/-. I have attached herewith the list of ticket amount dated 18/04/2024 and a confirmation from airlines that Economy class is available .
          My only request is provide me the charges along with bifurcation which is actually applicable.

              I booked Ticket dated 26 Feb 2024 PNR BU3I8G, paid 3014 fare was 2715, Due to change in plan, i want to reschedule, called call center the send link, i rescheduled, dated 28th Feb 2024, fare was showing 2550, demand online 392, i paid.
              Booking was showing pending, i called call center they told will get confirmation in 40 min.

              Again called they told need to pay 3488/-, Airline penalty is 2770 plus charges, while ticket was 2392 on website.
              Now i booked from Indigo new ticket at 2700.
              My demand from ease my trip full refund of ticket booked, plus new ticket charges.

              I rescheduled from your portal and paid 392, break up also given. your web site shows pending status after payment, there was no question to cancel ticket, when you demanded 3488 after payment online which was fake as per you and website. i also booked new ticket same flight 2700.

              You have done un law full demand after reschedulement from you web, that's why you have cancel and refund full amount.

              If your website would have been shown any other amount then i can take decision to reschedule ticket or not because your portal was showing price and price difference, after payment how you can say portal shows wrong amount now I have to pay penalty and charges more than ticket over and above original ticket charge.

              This type of money embezzlement happens on you web, first show less amount then demand more than 100% from innocents customers??? it is fraud and malpractice.

                  I am iqbal akhter, an nri staying in saudi arabia.
                  I booked a round trip ticket for my wife through easemytrip.com aka emt which was scheduled for[protected]Chandigarh to dammam) and the return was scheduled in january 2023. I had to reschedule due to some reasons. Website accepted the rescheduling fee and gave me confirmation of booking but never sent me the ticket. I tried to cancel the tickets but the website kept on showing the status as pending. Upon making a number of isd calls (Explained the same to every new tele-caller and told them that this was an isd call they put me on hold for minimum 20 minutes every time) they said that i was late in applying for reschedule and they can only refund the return flight and they processed it while i was still on call and confirmed me on the same call (I have the call records). I contacted them on twitter and they kept on transferring me from one desk to another. Finally they accepted the mess that was created by them and agreed to initiate a complete refund. They never refunded the ticket amount. Now after the january return ticket date has passed they are asking me to go online to cancel the tickets. Even if the website works now, it will result in a no show by the passenger and i get nothing in return. I have been put through enormous mental torture by easemytrip and i want them to compensate the financial and psychological losses i have been put through by them.
                  I have other call records that support my claim to be right.
                  Though the mental trauma i have been put through cannot be compared with money but still i want to claim a compensation amount of rs.[protected] to emt.

                      As a part of the above booking, Ease my trip had done my travel insurance through their partner ACKO Insurance. They have not included my surname in the insurance. My name is SUDHA JAIN, but they have written it as SUDHA only. I have sent them several emails along with my ID proof, and made phone calls, but they are not doing the correction. Kindly help.                       I had a flight from jaipur to pune with PNR no. OTRN7J dated 24th January 2024 for which i raised cancellation on 22nd January 2024 . Upon calling i came to know that the cancellation request could not be processed till date and thus i was unable to claim for zero cancellation product with ID 3A7FM-C8NPK-INS insured with xcover.com .

                      Please look into this and do the needful and process my refund as soon as possible since i requested for refund 48 hours earlier than flight departure time .

                      I have been told by customer service to email and i have not received any revert also .

                      This is unprofessional and unethical . Please help in resolving the matter at the earliest .

                        I booked a flight ticket on Easemytrip.
                        The final bill amount said 16057.
                        I was charged 17057.

                        The app said 16057, even AFTER the booking was made and showed that I had used a promo discount code.

                        However I was charged ₹1000 extra and on contacting customer care multiple times, I have received the same email response saying prices are dynamic.
                        The booking was already made and paid for. App said 16057. So prices being dynamic is not the reason. My coupon code benefit was not provided even though it can be seen in screenshot.

                        This is fraudulent. I was getting cheaper ticket on other platforms like MMT, Yatra than 17057.

                        I was shown the price 16057. But then charged extra.
                        And thereafter being mistreated and literally harassed by customer care where I've called multiple times but told every time that I will receive email response. Which is the same copy paste message not even one word change, saying price is dynamic.

                            Charging cancellation fees while processing refund when airlines cancelled the flight

                            I booked a return flight for 2 passengers from lucknow to indore on 25th dec 2023 via easemytrip.com. Booking id emt[protected]. Due to bad weather indigo cancelled both the flights and their ground staff did the proceedings for a full refund for both flights. The total amount i had paid for both flights was rs 25208.                             I had booked an air ticket thru your portal from mumbai to vancouver for self and wife (EMT[protected]. Lufthansa wrongfully denied my wife to board flight due to redness in her eye, hence we could not take the journey. However Air Canada initially issued ecredit points which I have converted into air tickets through Air Canada.
                            We also had booked tickets for our family of four for Europe (EMT[protected], from vancouver to florance and Rome to Athens and to Mumbai. Since me and wife could not travel from Vancouver to Florance, we were issued ecredits by Delta Airlines. I have trying to get some help from easemytrip customer care since last twelve months but got only once response "our senior will contact in next 30 min", which has not happened. My mail too has not been responded to. Very very poor service.

                              I booked a flight from Budapest to Santiago round-trip I purchased and paid it on January 3. January 4. I received an email that the booking is rejected. But it’s very confusing as they still sent me a flight ticket but the status of the ticket is rejected so I went and bought another ticket from a different site. I am waiting for my money back for the rejected booking but it’s very confusing.

                                I did a booking from EaseMyTrip of Go First airlines from Bangalore to Lucknow for 11 Nov. This flight got cancelled by Airlines and not informed to me. I notice this issue on 7 Nov when I am trying for web checking and had to do a new booking at double rates. Still, I did not receive my refunded amount. I already paid double money in booking new tickets, did not receive any help from airlines or EaseMyTrip. Flight is still showing conformed on portal due to which I was miss informed and have to do my booking in last minute.
