Deduction of Service and Cancellation fees

PNR - F8IP8F

The airline has rescheduled the flight for more than 5 hours for which I am eligible for a full refund which the airline as confirmed has provided (₹3, 636). When I called up ease my trip for cancellation they said the airline has paid to us but we were waiting for you to cancel at our website, all this is just to harass the customer?
Then, on speaking to the customer care agent, he cancelled the ticket...

Hi,

Its been a day and my flights are still pending, they haven't been confirmed by the airline. I'm so stressed as it said when booking you would get confirmation 45 mins max and i've been charged. Please can somebody advise?

When will I get an update? I have been scammed, i called customer service and the agent didn't even ask for my name or anything but was able to tell me payment hadn't been taken and I had to give him my card details over the phone and pay again, even though the money has been taken. I said i was stressed and he laughed at me and made a really rude remark saying if i don't pay again he will hang up and nothing more he can do. This is such a scam and making me so stressed. I will not delete this email either until this is resolved and will be leaving reviews on all website sharing this experience and will also be going to the media about this.

    I have to reschedule my tickets from 15 Aug - 19 Aug 2023 to 15 Sep - 19 Sep 2023
    and the company is charging 8766INR for rescheduling our flight.
    Reason for rescheduling due to the unwell and riots in Delhi. hence i postponed flights from 15 Aug - 19 Aug 2023 to 15 Sep - 19 Sep 2023

    As per the DGCA,
    Booking date: On or before 1st Aug, 2023

    Travel date: On or before 15 Aug, 2023

    You can reschedule your journey multiple times for travel before Aug 15, 2023 without paying any change fee.
    You can reschedule your journey only once for travel beyond Aug 15, 2023 without paying any change fee, ” says the IndiGo website.

    I want my refunded amount as for a middle class 8500 is a considerable amount specially during these times

    I have contacted easemy trip but of no good, they said, its a conveyance fees that they have charged but I dont think so the conveyance fees is more than 8700.

        Easemytrip booked my connected flight from Delhi to dublin. They have not considered the minimum layover period and booked a connected flight having layover of 1 hour 20 minutes at london on 4 th August. They are blaming the airlines (Emirates)for this issue.
        Emirates said that they have communicated the non compliance, but Ease my trip ignored this.
        Iam very much disturbed as travel date is 4th august2023 and today is 02- August-2023. My wife and two daughters ?(age 5 and 1) travelling first time so I am very much tensed due to this. Airline's clearly stated that they are not going to allow us to travel.
        I need solution to that with impacting my finance and travel status.

        As per commitment made by your representatives Mr. Ujjwal/Sohail they were supposed to revert us back within 2 days. They were very confident that they will take this issue very seriously and at personal level. But the truth is that even after approaching them they are avoiding our calls and it is almost 5 days crossed nothing happened. It seems total fraud.

          My flight got cancelled by the Airlines PNR - AYSM8Q
          As per our telephonic conversation and email correspondence, the Airlines assured me that the fare for the cancelled flights would be refunded on Thu, May 4, 2:07 PM. However, it has now been two months since that date, and I have not yet received the refund.

          I have reached out to the travel sites, Easemytrip.com, as suggested by the Airlines, but they informed me that they have not received the refund amount. This has left me quite concerned and puzzled as to the whereabouts of my refund.

          I kindly request your urgent assistance in investigating the status of my refund. I understand that sometimes delays may occur, but I am eager to have clarity on the matter and receive the refund as soon as possible.

              I have recently requested to cancel one of my flight booking with EaseMyTrip within 24 hours of booking with the flight date beyond 1 week.As per DGCA guidelines I have requested for a full refund.I have enquired the airlines about the guidelines and they too have mentioned that charges of any kind cannot be levied including the handling fee and convinience fee by the airlines as well as the booking agency.I was however charged with handling fee and convinience fee by EaseMyTrip for the cancellation.My booking id with EaseMyTrip is:EMT[protected].

                I made a booking through ease my trip and after the booking I check the date was wrongly mentioned ( I was doing for 23rd July but it was done for 20th). I immediately called the easemytrip they said that your booking is pending hence it can get cancelled for no loss, request you to wait until further notice. Now I called for the same then they said your booking has been confirmed, I was like how can it be possible that booking got confirmed when I requested to cancel the booking right under 1 min of the payment. I paid ₹3773 + 150 for seat and now they’re telling mei that for cancellation the charges exceeds than the amount I paid that is ₹4500. How can this be possible. Please help.

                Complaint has been resolved. As per telephonic conversation with harshpreet they’ll be waiving off the convenience fees for my other bookings which is nearly equivalent to the amount of the ticket price.

                  I have been up since the past 24 hours and ended up paying 15k extra because of your cancellation policy.

                  My bookings from mumbai to chennai, and chennai to mumbai had been cancelled. And the only intimation was through message (pnr : KBBE9M and UBNLQP).
                  I had missed the message about the cancellation of the departure flight and only read the chennai to mumbai flight cancellation.
                  When I called spicejet 3 times about the chennai to mumbai cancellation refund, no one informed me that mumbai to chennai flight was cancelled too.
                  And today I was at the airport I was allowed to enter through T2 even though there's no spicejet there, then I went to T1 where I was informed the flight is cancelled and that's when I initiated my cancellation and booked a new flight which cost me 15, 200 rs.

                  I'm in utter distress, and in debt too. Please look into this.

                    Hello I am contacting regarding a medical emergency cancellation for PNR EMT[protected] due to diagnosed with COVID i am not able to travel and i am suggested not to travel for 15 days at least i have attached all medical documents for your reference which you can validate with the hospital as well i would request to kindly cancel the hotel booking under PNR EMT[protected] and refund my full money without any cancellation charges kindly understand its a medical emergency as MOT if a customer faces any medical emergency full waiver have to be given on any type of cancellation kindly process my request else i will file a case with consumer court

                      Hidden K3 charges not showing on booking time

                      Site was not showing K3 hidden charges (470/-) at the time of booking which were charged in billing.

                      I feel cheated after seeing the bills.

                      These charges should be reversed immediately....

                      Hi,

                      I am writing to bring to your attention a grievance I have encountered regarding the refund for a cancelled flight. The flight was booked through the travel agency Easemytrip, and despite multiple attempts to resolve the matter, I have not received the refund owed to me. I kindly request your intervention and assistance in resolving this issue.

                      On May 1, 2023, I booked a flight with Gofirst Airlines through Easemytrip, with the following details:

                      Flight Details: [PNR - MCJTGA, Booking ID - EMT[protected], Flight Number - G8-285]
                      Departure Date: May 13, 2023
                      Amount Paid: [Rs. 9502]
                      Unfortunately, the flight was cancelled by Gofirst Airlines on May 8, 2023, and I was informed by the airline that the refund process would be handled by the booking agency, Easemytrip. On May 9, 2023, I received a receipt from Gofirst Airlines confirming that the refund amount had been processed back to Easemytrip.

                      Since then, I have been in constant communication with Easemytrip regarding the refund status. However, despite their assurances, they have repeatedly claimed that they have not received the refund amount from Gofirst Airlines. This contradictory information has caused significant confusion and frustration on my part.

                      I have also reached out to Gofirst Airlines, who informed me to fill a form for NCLT (National Company Law Tribunal) Proceedings after 20 days. Despite complying with their request, there has been no update or progress in resolving the matter.

                      Considering the lack of cooperation from both Gofirst Airlines and Easemytrip. I kindly request your immediate intervention in this matter to ensure the swift resolution of my refund request.

                      I have attached copies of all relevant documents, including the booking confirmation, the receipt confirming the refund from Gofirst Airlines, and any other supporting evidence for your reference. I request you to thoroughly investigate this matter and take the necessary steps to rectify the situation promptly.

                      I kindly request your response and assistance within a reasonable timeframe to ensure that this issue is resolved expeditiously.

                        EMT[protected] I booked the original ticket for 10th July Air India BOM DXB by paying 36, 342 for 3 Passengers. Now I went ahead and reschedule the flight for 7th Aug. While rescheduling on the EaseMyTrip website it asked me to pay a total of 13249 (Reschedule charge and convenience fee). I paid this, but the ticket went in pending and I got an email from EaseMyTrip asking me to pay 6856 extra for fare change through the link provided. I paid for that as well and got the ticket confirmed.
                        Now when I got the new ticket it mentions a total amount of 49, 591 INR. 49, 591 - 36, 342 (Original ticket fare) = 13, 249 (Reschedule convenience fee which I already paid on the site).
                        So where extra money of 6856 has gone, why this amount doesn't appear in this new ticket? I was fooled and they took this extra money in the name of fare change. But the truth is fare didn't change.

                          I canceled my flight from AKASA airline on the 26th of June and from their end, it has been mentioned that money has been cleared and transferred to travel agency EASEMYTRIP. I also got the confirmation mail from AKASA Airlines that the money was moved to EASEMYTRIP on the 7th of June. but when I contacted EASEMYTRIP, they are keep on telling me that refund is pending from the airline side. The PNR number for my flight booking is PNR - IZP87L for your flight booked from AMD To HYD. Every time I call, customer care people use to tell me their refund department will contact me but I never get any call from their end. Kindy help to get my money back.

                            Hi,
                            This is to inform that i am writing this mail due to inconvenience faced while booking a bus ticket.
                            On June 18th, i booked a bus ticket searching from Faizabad (Ayodhya) to Noida. On search i got buses and I selected and booked 2 tickets.
                            When i got the ticket which is attached in this mail, it showed Faizabad to Noida on heading level which is fine but boarding was different which is ‘Faizabag’ which is a whole different region.
                            So I cancelled it right away. But it’s been 5 days and I haven’t recieved my money back. Also i would not wish to pay any taxes or charger applicable as it wasn’t my fault it was easemytrip systems fault.

                              I have booked a ticket on 6th June for 12th June Cochin-Mumbai flight through EasemyTrip website. The website was showing error after inputing the creditcard details and OTP. I have attempted payment though hdfc Credit card multiple times for getting the ticket issued. Rs 4960/- has been collected. HDFC Card transaction list shows following Transactions on 6th June.

                                I booked Shiv resort in rishikesh on 17 June for one night stay .. EMT[protected]

                                Just after booking i got coordinates of resort on my what's app obviously I believed ease my trip shared correct coordinates and I followed that coordinates..but when I reached the coordinates location there was nothing immediately I called easemytrip support team and I got hotel owner number ..after I had a call with hotel owner I got to know hotel is around 10km away from the coordinates shared by Easemytrip on my registered what's app number ..and due to congestion Google map showed 2 hours to cover that 10km. Also, I did not in position to travel more ..I was tired mentally and physically till that time..hence I booked near by hotel. Please check with Shiv resort hotel owner I did not check in there.

                                Once user book hotel ..it should be your sole responsibility to verify hotel details are correct or not before sharing with users.

                                Please refund my amount ASAP. I already tried to reach support team and they denied with reason that we shared the direct hotel number with you.

                                Question is why didn't you shared hotel owner numer while booking itself...is this the reason justifiable by your support team?

                                Ease my trip did put me in wrong location ..hence I want my refund back asap.

                                Kindly refund my booking money otherwise, I will file a complaint against Easemytrip in court.
