I booked Shiv resort in rishikesh on 17 June for one night stay .. EMT[protected]

Just after booking i got coordinates of resort on my what's app obviously I believed ease my trip shared correct coordinates and I followed that coordinates..but when I reached the coordinates location there was nothing immediately I called easemytrip support team and I got hotel owner number ..after I had a call with hotel owner I got to know hotel is around 10km away from the coordinates shared by Easemytrip on my registered what's app number ..and due to congestion Google map showed 2 hours to cover that 10km. Also, I did not in position to travel more ..I was tired mentally and physically till that time..hence I booked near by hotel. Please check with Shiv resort hotel owner I did not check in there.

Once user book hotel ..it should be your sole responsibility to verify hotel details are correct or not before sharing with users.

Please refund my amount ASAP. I already tried to reach support team and they denied with reason that we shared the direct hotel number with you.

Question is why didn't you shared hotel owner numer while booking itself...is this the reason justifiable by your support team?

Ease my trip did put me in wrong location ..hence I want my refund back asap.

Kindly refund my booking money otherwise, I will file a complaint against Easemytrip in court.

      Hi,

      I am writing to bring to your attention a grievance I have encountered regarding the refund for a cancelled flight. The flight was booked through the travel agency Easemytrip, and despite multiple attempts to resolve the matter, I have not received the refund owed to me. I kindly request your intervention and assistance in resolving this issue.

      On May 1, 2023, I booked a flight with Gofirst Airlines through Easemytrip, with the following details:

      Flight Details: [PNR - MCJTGA, Booking ID - EMT[protected], Flight Number - G8-285]
      Departure Date: May 13, 2023
      Amount Paid: [Rs. 9502]
      Unfortunately, the flight was cancelled by Gofirst Airlines on May 8, 2023, and I was informed by the airline that the refund process would be handled by the booking agency, Easemytrip. On May 9, 2023, I received a receipt from Gofirst Airlines confirming that the refund amount had been processed back to Easemytrip.

      Since then, I have been in constant communication with Easemytrip regarding the refund status. However, despite their assurances, they have repeatedly claimed that they have not received the refund amount from Gofirst Airlines. This contradictory information has caused significant confusion and frustration on my part.

      I have also reached out to Gofirst Airlines, who informed me to fill a form for NCLT (National Company Law Tribunal) Proceedings after 20 days. Despite complying with their request, there has been no update or progress in resolving the matter.

      Considering the lack of cooperation from both Gofirst Airlines and Easemytrip. I kindly request your immediate intervention in this matter to ensure the swift resolution of my refund request.

      I have attached copies of all relevant documents, including the booking confirmation, the receipt confirming the refund from Gofirst Airlines, and any other supporting evidence for your reference. I request you to thoroughly investigate this matter and take the necessary steps to rectify the situation promptly.

      I kindly request your response and assistance within a reasonable timeframe to ensure that this issue is resolved expeditiously.

      I'm getting call from YOUR COMPLAIN department about getting a voucher of the refund amount and redeem it from only two bank, ICICI or SBI. I'm having my account in HDFC. I want my money in my source account.
      When I denied that he said I'm declining the voucher and passing this issue to different department, You shall receive a call from them about getting your money in your source account.
      This is ###, it's been 12 days since I have received that call, What kind of game or prank is this.
      I got the call from 8171864148 on 26th June.

        Hotel was cancelled by easemytrip but still refund is not credited in my source account.

        Easemytrip is useless, I did number of calls and sent number of email but there is no positive response from their end.

          Hello

          I have booked five tickets from mumbai to amrisar for 18th June 23 at 7 pm on 08th June 23 at 07:45 am, my amount get debited from my bank and easemytrip page stucked with the processing icon but after long wait I did not get any confirmation, and also the amount has been debited from my account of rs 13061.91/, i have call about 10 times for refund

            I booked 2 bus ticket on 8 June for Kodaikanal to chennai journey on praveen travels, I was trying to book i summit all the necessary information and pay the amount for both ticket through gpay. Money got deducted but the interface for paying didn't change my got deducted and not getting any information like PNR, BOOKING ID OR BUS TICKET after paying my money

              Address: Easy Trip Planners Pvt. Ltd. Building Number - 223, Patparganj Industrial Area, New Delhi - 110092 (India)

              Booking ID: EMT[protected] made on May 4 at about 11:48 PM using No Cost Option on BOB EMI.

              1. The booking for three rooms in the my name was confirmed but surprising the Emi option was showing interest rates while claiming to be no cost.

              2. Booking & cancellation policy states as follows:

              Before : 04-May-2023 INR. 0 (Free Cancellation)
              From : 04-May-2023 100% Charge (Non Refundable)
              This is extremely misleading and is a strange practice not used by any other travel portal known to me. What the policy essential mean is simply that it is Non refundable booking and would simply be mentioned as such. However, you mention it in a fairly unnecessary and misleading ways as if there are two options. The first option essentially and logically means that a customer can cancel a booking free of any charges if he cancels it before making the booking. It’s nothing but an effort to scam customers. I had reported the issue earlier about a year back on a different transaction. I was then told, that easemytrip had agreements with various portals and it simply reflects what they pass on to it so it cannot do anything about this inexplicable cancellation policy.

              3. The entire money deducted from my card and is reflecting as such although it was meant to be a no-cost EMI transaction

              Booking ID: Booking ID:EMT[protected] made on May 5 at about midnight of 4th, using EMTSCB promocode on Standard Chartered card.

              The booking was intended in the name of Rohan Arya Marda & others for same 3 rooms in the same hotel as above.
              The booking went through and the money was immediately deducted from the card.
              The confirmation received by us however showed the booking as pending. It is unfair to charge a customer for a booking unless one can commit delivery.

              The booking was intended in the name of Chinar Sanghi & others for same 2 rooms in the same hotel as above.
              The booking went through and the money was immediately deducted from the card.
              The confirmation received by us however showed the booking as pending. It is unfair to charge a customer for a booking unless one can commit delivery.

              The booking after days of research was made on EMT after several portals showing eight rooms being available for 15th June to 17 June for a group of 16. Normally, as fares and availability are dynamic, one would normally get a message that rooms are no more available or rates are no more applicable before the money is deducted.

              Later that night, I got a call from EMT stating that the 5 rooms showing as pending are not available with the hotel. So, the hotel was simply blamed.

              When I said I could book the rooms through Agoda, he stated that they contacted agoda and rooms are not available with them either. So not the blame was passed on to Agoda

              No effort was made to inform me if any of the pending rooms, if not all of them, were available.

              In response, when I asked the rep, that if I manage to get the same rooms directly either from hotel or any other portal, would they compensate me for any additional cost I may have to bear. He denied being able to do so.

              I then, said I cannot have 6 out of 16 guests staying in one hotel and other in either in a different area in the same hotel or in a different hotel, so, to kindly cancel the confirmed three rooms in the name of Manoj Poddar & others and refund the entire amount. I was told that the booking made about less than an hour back is not refundable under mis-leading terms. So the entire onus for all the faults in your system was passed onto me as a customer.

              I was finally told that the matter is being escalated and I would soon get a resolution.

              I spent the entire night sleepless and worried. Next morning, I called emt and was promised a call back with in 30-40 minutes. Subsequently, I got a mail stating that my issue is under consideration. Finally, I got a call, later in the afternoon stating the same as earlier and passing the entire onus on me.

              On this final call, I asked for complimentary upgrades, which is normally a practice followed by reputed portals and hotels when they charge customers for rooms not available with them. I was denied

              I such an helpless situation o[censored]nprofessionalism and zero cooperation, .I then suggested that one more room in the same category is still available on their own site as well as agoda at a lower price than originally booked, also the pending 4 rooms are available at a lower cost using the same promocode EMTSCB in a lower category as cheaper price. So she could book them accordingly and refund the difference on account of cheaper lower- category rooms as well as compensate us reasonable for all the harassment.

              She agreed and made all the bookings. Having done so, she confirmed that eight rooms have now been booked, that I would soon get a refund of Rs 6000, and a voucher as a compensation as decided by the management. When I tried to understand the calculation of refund amount she was jittery and asked me how much refund would I be happy with. I mentioned the amount as Rs 10000 & no compensatory vouchers which she refused showing unwillingness to understand any calculation.

              After the call, when I received the confirmation, I was surprised to see that she has been able to book the same original category room, not one as confirmed and agreed on the phone but 2, while, booking three lower category rooms instead of four.

              Now, this additional bungle up had caused extreme in convenience for us. When Easemytrip was unable to offer any solution in form of confirming all eight originally booked rooms that they had charge me for, or upgraded allegedly unavailable rooms or cancel and refund the amount for three rooms confirmed, I offered them a practical solution, hoping all eight children can stay together and the adults may stay together in a different area of the hotel. However this initiative of mine has also been bungled up.

              I have not received and promised refund or compensatory vouchers as of now. I did get a call again from EMT from someone to resolve my issue but after long conversation the line got disconnected because of my batteries being discharged. Since then, I have heard nothing either on phone or in writing.

                Hi,
                Recently I’ve booked a hotel “The Umrao” for one day (24 May 2023 to 25 May 2023) via EaseMyTrip.com site and prepaid the amount of Rs 5578 in advance. When I visited the hotel, the hotel denied the checkin and when asked they told rooms are unavailable at the moment. They (hotel The Umrao) further cancelled my booking and told me to talk to EaseMyTrip customer support.
                Following what the hotel said, I tried to get some help from EaseMyTrip consumer support team but had no luck and didn’t get the hotel room that day (24 May 2023).
                Being in new city for the first time, I was helpless that day and was left with no option. This all happened because of worst service of EaseMyTrip.com and it’s employees. The way they took booking and entire amount for hotel, and further not able to provide the hotel to customers is big fraud in itself.
                Further on 24th May 2023, I’ve to get another hotel and have to pay again for it as I’ve left with no option.
                Still I’m following with EaseMyTrip.com to get my refund of Rs5578 but they’ve no updates for me.
                I’m sharing with you guys all of my booking details of hotel “The Umrao”.
                Please help me get my refund of Rs 5578 as soon as possible.

                    I have booked a flight to Russia through Easemytrip of Oman Airways. Due to some operational reason one of the flight was cancelled by Oman and Oman has asked us to contact the Agent for rescheduling the flight free of cost.

                    Easemytrip is asking for additional rescheduling charges which is around 40k, and after fighting that Oman has approved free of cost, it is not responding and we are asked to wait for 2 hours for solution, we asked to get the call diverted to senior person, that commitment is also made by the travel agent and still have not received any call from easemytrip. It is almost 3 days we are unable to reschedule one single flight,

                    We had 10 more tickets through different agents however they have not charged us and have resolved in 10 mins

                      I'm Rajeev Kumar Singh. I live at Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. I booked a bus ticket for my parents through Easymytrip.com from Kalindi Kunj, Delhi to Siwan, Bihar with scheduled departure time on 14th May 2023 at 01:45 PM. Whose booking number is EMT[protected]. After reaching Kalindi Kunj, I called the bus operators contact no ( [protected], [protected] ) but mobile no was continuously Switch Off showing. Whose complaint i ware done by Easemytrip Customer Care no [protected]. After which I was given 2 more numbers from customer care. these number are [protected], [protected]. But these numbers were also not in service. I called customer care several times and complained.
                      Then i was told by customer care that we (easemytrip) was also tried to contact bus operator but not connected. so you return your home and i ( easemytrip ) am processing your refund process.
                      Even after that i called many days for refund but got no satisfactory answer.
                      Then I called the customer care again on 26 May, then I was told by the customer care that the bus operator has rejected the refund. Reason told that the bus operator had called, I did not receive.
                      EaseMeTrip Check Your Customer Care Records. According to the company, all our calls are on recorded lines. When EasyMyTrip itself admitted that there is no communication with the bus operator on 14th May. Can the bus operators show any proof that they called me. then how can they cancel my refund.
                      I have upset now. I think the bus operator and EaseMyTrip are cheating the customer.
                      Still, I hope the company will take my issue seriously and resolve it appropriately and refund my total amount 4018.
                      Please refund my 4018/- immediately basis otherwise I will complain in consumer court and also complain in BSE, NSE & SEBI

                        I John K Beimosia have booked a flight with Air Alliance PNR G3E3ZW under the booking no. EMT[protected] via Easemytrip from Aizawl to Shillong.However, the flight was canceled by airlines due to such inconvenience since I opted for the refunds I've been waiting for 2 months and haven't received any till dates.
                        I have booked my flight on 20th April 2023 subsuming i applied for the refunds and provided all the required docs such as proof of cancellation of the flight as per the site
                        I have called the Air Alliance team Lengpui this morning and they mentioned that the travel site have to claim it.Even after i told them to claim they kept on giving me the same response for 2 months that they have escalated the matters
                        I have never experienced such inappropriate and unprofessionalism incidents.However, I do not recommend any person to book their itenary with easemytrip.It was a mistake booking with ease my trip

                          Post multiple email follow-ups and phone calls with customer care since last 4 months with Easymytrip there is still no confirmation when I will get my refund. I have explained my concern to the Easymytrip unlimited times regarding the seat selection charges which I paid in advance while booking the tickets. But on boarding pass we were given different seat numbers. These spacious seats were booked for senior citizens and 1 of them is wheel chair bound, but instead they were given cramped seats which lead to trouble for them during travel. And now after so many follow-ups and calls the refund is not given for the same.
                          Travel dates: del-Sin 21 dec, 2022 and sin-del 28 dec 2022.

                            I did my booking online via https://www.easemytrip.com/ for a ticket from Zagreb to Bucharest on 19/5/23 and despite receiving both PNR and e-ticket booking confirmation, I have my booking rejected. Payment was also successful. Booking ID -EMT[protected]/ PNR : 5WD9W9

                            So when asked to provide a legit reason for rejection, care center personnel of easemytrip didn't provide one. No responses to the emails either. [protected]@easemytrip.com

                            The refund request has been made over the phone and I was advised to wait 7 days. But I don't know whether it guarantees the transaction reversal/refund to my account. I do suspect a fraudulent dealing unless this amount is fully refunded

                              It's been months since I am following up on this refund. We had booked a similar ticket through MMT and we have received the refund for the same. Only with Easemytrip we are facing so many issues. Please apply for refund to the airline through their help desk.

                              I have spoken to the airline and they have said you're not applying for a refund in the correct manner. Your helpline number is not helpful at all - they don't understand anything. Please have someone from the refund team call me.

                                Refund not received for ticket cancelled

                                This is with regards to my booking from Mumbai to Jaipur dated 28/02/2023 vide PNR no. 5AMDYJ (Vistara) for 4 passengers which I had cancelled and the refund is yet to be issued.

                                Escalation for refund- EMT115805299

                                Date of Cancellation- 23 April 2023
                                After multiple calls first mail response from hotel department quoting issue with payment gateway.
                                After 20-30 calls robert.[protected]@easemytrip.com sent another mail on 12 May and added siddiq.[protected]@easemytrip.com with a promise of resolution in 2-3 days.

                                They have the worst customer care service and promise that hotel team will give a callback...

                                On November 2nd 2022 first time I did booking for Saudia Airlines for a return journey as follows: May 11th 2023 dep BOM to LAX and return July 8th 2023 LAX to BOM.
                                Just about 4 to 5 days before I departed from Mumbai for LAX, I received a message from Saudia Airline that there is a major disruption in my return flight of LAX to BOM on July 8th and hence they have rescheduled it for August 5th 2023. Now this was a shocking news to me as flight was rescheduled after 28 days. This is obviously unacceptable to me. So I first contacted Saudia Airline customer care. They said that they would certainly do the needful including full refund but my agent of booking i.e. Easemytrip has to be communicating with them as I did booking from them. Since then repeatedly I have been contacting Easemytrip on phone and on mail. Assurances given on phone do not match their mail responses. Since the airline has rescheduled the flight unilaterally for 28 days later, and this unacceptable to me, I must be paid full refund for my return journey as I am asking for a cancellation of such a flight rescheduled by the airline. My original flight booking is for July 8th 2023. Airline is unable to provide any altetnative flight for the same day. They have informed about it before 14 days of departure and as the rescheduled flight is not acceptable to me, they have to give me full refund on cancellation as per article 10 of GACA of Saudia . All these has to be pursued by Easemytrip as they are the one through whom the booking is done. Their responses in number of mails have been repetitive and it seems they do not know how best to pursue the matter by showing the Saudia Airline their own GACA rule. Only answer given by Easemytrip on mails is that Airline has denied full refund. This unacceptable by any stretch of common sense.I am in USA at present and all this has really created a lot of harrassment for me. This is below par service by Easemytrip sofar. I hope through this the matter is pursued with Saudia and full refund for the remaining part of my journey is provided as Saudia has cancelled my flight on July 8th from LAX to BOM and rescheduled it for Aug 5th 2023 on their own.

                                Please note that I am asking for the refund on the return journey which has been cancelled and reschedulled by Saudia from July 8th 2023 to August 5th. This under any circumstances is unacceptable and refund for the amount involved in return journey should be given This as per GACA Article 10 of Saudia and it should be mentioned to them.

                                  I tried to book Flight of 13th May from Mumbai to Indore on 12th May for 2 persons via Easymytrip website. My money got debited from bank account but Flight Ticket is not booked, & Status is shown as Rejected.
                                  I got message from Easemytrip that they were unable to confirm flight booking of Mumbai-Indore Air India flight of 13th May & they have processed full refund of 9018 rupees.

                                  Kindly let me know when the refund amount will get credited to my bank account.
