on 13 may i provided item not as described proof to [protected]@ebay.com, so today i received call from ebay and call ended within 8 second without completing the discussion of claim, and suddenly i received message that your claim is rejected, how can ebay reject my claim without talking to me? i want refund **Claim ID : 491467 **PaisaPay ID : [protected] **my complaint: seller sent me "nokia battery" by mistake as discussed on call with seller, i was in contact with seller from last few days but issue was unresolved, as seller is not reverting to me, I ordered a pendrive and this delivered battery is useless for me, hence it is my request to ebay to provide me refund

    Cheated and ignored. (True incident) My strange experience on Ebay. I am a regualr online purchaser. I had been using Ebay since long time. never any issues, so far. One fine day, I placed an order for an Audi MMI Cable(item #[protected] fomr a supplier name - "hongkongadget". Now, I was in some hurry to place the order, so when Ebay asked to login, i saw another option lingering on the page - 'continue as a guest' So, i thought - why not. I placed my order as a guest. they accepted my payment and given me PaisaPay ID - [protected] for the transaction. I even got confirmation mails from Ebay and the supplier for the order. the date of ordering was 5th may 2014. Uptill Today, I havent recieved my item yet. I have written atleast 10 mails to the supplier and some mails even to Ebay about the situation. I did not put my order through my regular account ( i ordered as a guest, rembember?). so i cannot login and cancel the order or write a review/ complain for the supplier. I even called up Ebay India, a representative answered and I told her the situation, for which she plainly replied that she does not know what to do about it, and hence cannot help. she said only way to get your item is to contact the supplier. So, i was back to the supplier, i mailed him some more and even called him on their given number, not a single time they replied or even picked up the phone. this supplier 'hongkonggadet' is by far the lousiest supplier i have came accross online. But i do not blame them. because when i shop on Ebay, i do not see the supplier, i see the Ebay gurantee. thats what encourages us to put our hard earned money in the hands of some distint small time supplier. If Ebay would not help us in this kind o[censored]nique sitations, then whats the point of Ebay gurantee or such. Online shopping is all about whom do you trust or not. i can get the item from 10 different websites, but i chose Ebay, only due to its name and reputation. but never again. Ebay is just another foreign Company just to loot the Indians and do not care or stand on its promises. They hire unskilled/cheap custmore care representatives which do not know what to do when somehting comes up outside their script. I do not care about my money which is in this case Rs. 2000, you could guess as i own an Audi(rembember the item?). but i do care when some cheat takes my money and do not respect the customer/seller code (I am talking about the supplier) And i do care, when a company like Ebay is so careless and ignorant at so many levels. I would spread my experience everywhere i can, so that nobody else get swindled like me from this supplier- 'hongkonggadet' and Ebay. -- Sourabh Agar

      I bought a brand new phone (Sony Xperia Z) from ebay. It has a defective display, i claimed for replacement/refund, i contacted ebay 6 times, they tell me to wait for 48 hrs, but even after the specified time, there is no response. Pls help. Thankyou. Attached a photo, compared to another identical phone, left (ordered from ebay) has a yellow Tint all over.

        suspension of my paisa pay account is that item was bought by my friend from my other id that I used for buying. Due to some greed of hdfc discount coupon I helped him but now he left out of city with my item and I am empty hand.my friend is saying that he has already paid and accepted item reciept on ebay and he is not going to pay me again offline. i was not aware of such things are not allowed and just came to know from consumer court community about this possibility that buying own item from other id is not allowed. I don know why these transactions aalallialliweallowed. Just holding seller fee is warnubgearning you bank interest. You are requested to please release my paisa pay payment of 23000 and update the status. I dont want to reinstate account just pay my money . customer support does not even reply.           I am a eBay customer for last 3.5 years. I registered as a seller in eBay in last year. And since March 2014, I decided to use eBay for my one of the major online selling partner and stated selling mobile phones, tablets etc.
          Since March 2014 to April, I sold many items thru eBay. And I was getting payments for the items successfully sold.
          But suddenly on April 12, 2014 I got notified that due to some verification, my selling account temporarily been restricted and thus I could not sell any more item further. Please see attached image.
          Its alright. Its eBay's site, they have full right to restrict selling somebody.
          But on 14th April, 2014, I got notified that, the Payments accumulated by successful selling of the products been kept on hold. And they don't want to give my payments for which I have invested money for purchasing them and sold successfully.
          The amount is not small enough. It was 3 Lakhs INR. That time products costs ~1 lakh was in transit and not delivered to buyers. So, I contacted courier companies to stop delivery and return the products back to me. This caused me lot of loss. Still it was better than keeping money on hold with eBay.
          Now there are more than 2 lakh of money been kept in hold by eBay for a month.
          These payments accumulated from the successful sales for which I have already invested funds.
          Due to this along with selling stopped thru eBay ( and already have lot of products in stock)
          1. I am paying interest to my lender @5% per month as I could not give them payments.
          2. My family emergencies! One of my uncle was under treatment, Now I had to bring back my uncle to Govt. Hospital due to lack of money.
          3. I am running out of money, needing debt from friends.

          On it, I repeatedly mailed mailed ebay for release the payments, they never tells about payment while replying, they only tells, you cannot sell here right now.
          On such scenario, I request you guys to release my payments. I am really helpless on such scenario.
          Thus I am requesting you to kindly look into the matter in another angle and at-least release the payments.Looking forward for your kind cooperation.

          Ebay continues harassing people.
          They had already debited the amount for the eBay Guarantee Claim No. 480522, eBay Guarantee Claim No. 479949 and eBay Guarantee Claim No.478423. But today again debited the same amount for the same Guarantee Claim. Thus its been debited twice.
          Attached snapshot as reference.
          Is it a mistake or this way ebay trying to keep all the sellers money as much as possible with them.
          I need an immediate reply on this matter.
          This is being a cheating!!!

          I am a member since last 3.5 years and recently started selling. What is my benefit of opening new account or to have another account?
          I got a mail mentioning such thing. I am not responsible for other people, and what they are doing. eBay is your site, if you feel, restrict me from selling. I have no complaint. Its your site, you can do whatever you want, or allow to sell whom you want.

          But, they money you kept in Hold, that's my money. Not eBay's money.
          That been accumulated from the product I purchased and sold. For long days you guys kept it with you and using that for your own business.
          While I am paying penalty for that amount.

          Who will repair and reimburse the damaged caused by this to me?

          For the customer supoort? The toll free number always keeps on hold for 1 hour. Even after 1 hour, waiting time remains 1 hour. Same for Chat.
          Emails rarely been replied.

          Do you think, people will just spend days taking the phone in ear on expectation somebody will attend but never meets the expectation?
          Some times, back I contacted, that time somebody told me that due to the defect rate selling been restricted.
          Nobody tells me when my payments will be released. Please release my payment ASAP. Delaying this, it will damage lot of things for me.

            I have bought an item Order#[protected] from Ebay India on 19th of March 2014 using credit card and Payback points. They deducted my payback points and from my credit card .After 10 days they sent an email regarding missing payment. Then i have told them either to cancel the payment or let my buy it again. Put a request to refund my payback points, up to now no action. Now its been 2 months despite of sending several emails and chatting with online customer supports team, what i get is an email stating " we will get back to you shortly within 24-48 hours". Please try to take a look in to this matter. I have seen several complaints like this from ebay in different forums. Kindly requesting to take action.

I am deeply disappointed to bring to your notice that the product received by me was defective and I contacted the company immediately. I was requested by your company to courier the defective product back to process a refund or replacement. I sent the product back via India Post on [enter date].                   I have received Dell venue 7 with software issues. So, requested for a refund. Claimed for refund via ebay guarantee. My claim got rejected because they are asking me to go to Dell support. The product has got issues and am suffering because of ebay, it's a new product with so many problems. Finally when I got in touch with ebay customer support, they are telling me to get a scanned copy of problems in the device through dell customer care within one day, or else I can't claim a refund! Is this way ebay treats it's customers? No return policy for customers!

                    sir i have purchased lg g2 mobile on ebay.in on 130414, in the listings it is named as used one only but the images are crystal clear in the listings at the time of purchase.But the one i got has thick scratches on the screen itself, iam shocked on seeing that.I bought it for 28000, totally waste piece for that amount.I received the mobile on 180414 and opened a complaint with ebay about i on that day itself.. The response procedure from e bay customer care is as below mentioned, 1. 130414 I purchased mobile online 2.I received it on 180414 and seeing the situation of it i made a complaint on the same day itself 3. after 8 days on 260414 they contacted me and said they asked the seller for explanation 4 on 2 nd may they asked for the upload of images which i have made on 3 rd, they replied that seller will respond it in 72 hours 5. on 7 th may they called registered mobile no with ebay and told that seller has dispatched it in intact position, but the celll is at home and my family members lifted the call they are unable to understand the matter, just by calling to that no they closed the claim. 6. I already gave another no to the customer executive but he just called and closed the claim. 7. The thing that has to observe they send the claim closed mesage to both numbers but for closing the claim they called to one no which is replied by persons who does not know the matter and to communicate with the customer executive. 8 Then i called immediately after i got the message of closing the claim but the reply is not good, four times i called them they put me in line for about 2 hours to investigate the matter, , but call is disconneted a the times. 9 fouth time i called and asked about why call is disconnectiing, they replied iam idle and not answering so they did it, they are playing with my patience. 10 i think ebay customer executives are backing their seller and closed the claim single siddedly. sir for 28000 rs i got a waste thing. please look in the matter and resolve it. After one week the camera is not working and phone is hanging.i claim the report with in one month.                         myself bhanu, and i have purchase online swipe halo value8 tablet and the cost was 6602/- including tax from ebay, but in that some problem, i return the item and my paisa pay id is [protected] and invoice number is MX/6815//12-13 and the record no. is 12873 and it was dispatch by aramex courier and dispatch no. is [protected] was already resolved for refunf from ebay. they told my refund money they will send by dd or cheque on my registered address with in 2 weeks, but i didn't recieved anything, i wait very long time, and i mny many times call and send emails but nobody reply, and now already more than 10 months but still noo reply and not refund process also, so its a fraud and fake company b the courier details also from which i send the tablet and the ebay also told they will refund my courier money also 590/-

                          I have dispatched faulty hdmi 10 meter cable on address provided by ebay as per ebay instruction… ……… I have tried calling many time on seller phone no [protected] provided by ebay but no one picks up …dtdc say address is wrong if address is wrong and no one picking up mobile how ebay expect me to ask courier company to delivery the material…now ebay says you have not delivered on time so we are closing a case and my money is stuck with ebay...eBay Guarantee* claim no is 462606 i have sent thru dtdc courier z20171696...can you guide how to solve it...my concern is ebay not willing to help and solve this issue and seller not picking his mobile so not able to talk to him to solve...

                            I bought a product samsung galaxy s4 where the seller has put the brand as samsung clearly I can send you the screenshot i also made a call before buying to ebay customer support weahter it is original samsung the response i got was the customer support person said its 100% original and if its not original they will cover me under ebay guarantee but i happened to make a call to the seller regarding the warranty terms which he claims is 6 months i asked him can i go to samsung after sales service he replied he will arrange for the services by himself if any problem arises i asked why can i not go to samsung service centre then he started telling it is same like samsung all branding is same and everything is same but its not original i got shocked i called ebay to cancel the order and refund my money but ebay is not responding i have all audio recordings and screen shots of how they cheated me please help me

                                  I purchased HTC amaze from eBay India, which was worst nightmare for me. I sent that phone immediately to the seller via courier spent my Rs.620 and filed claim under eBay guarantee. The claim got resolved after 10 days and refund got approved but till date I have not received the refund. This is one of the criminal offence please look into the matter and do the needful.                                     Hi, I ordered a product from ebay.in, so they sent a mail on 28-March-2014 that its been shipped & will be delivered before or on 12th-April-2014, (Seller i2cworld_inc3 has shipped item "GEB - MSKU[protected] For Motorola Moto G Rugged [22/22:57:54]"[protected] on 28-Mar-14 for Rs. 1, 214.00 .) When i called them on 5th-April-2014 to know the status, the seller told me that my contact number is scrambled, sothey cannot deliver my product & they will call me to confirm the status. I never got a call, so i called ebay.in customer care & asked them to refund my money, i raised a claim as well 2-3 times, details are as below: Claim ID: 462965 PaisaPay ID: [protected] Item number: [protected] Seller ID: i2cworld_inc3 Date claim opened: [protected] But till now my refund is not been done & everytime i call them, they say the same thing that my refund is in process.                                       I bought an hdc iphone 5s replica from ebay.in on the 30th of march. just 4 hours from getting the phone the battery went dead. It was not charging and the phone was dead. I raised a claim on the 5th of April after discussing the problem with ebay.in since the seller was not responding to my calls. Its now been almost a month, ebay has promised action after 48 hours but just to avert time, they keep on askin me to send pictures of the item (which i did a billion times) they also say that I dont receive my calls when they call, whereas they never did. I made it clear to them to call me only after 5pm as i attend classes yet nothing has been done. If ebay has really no interest for the plights of their customers, it makes me doubt their loyalty. Does this means that I can also sell fraud items and nothing can be done by them. my claim no is 464749. My id is Imtijamir oh, and ebay.in, here's a middle finger for you [censored] _|_

However, we would request you to reship the item to the seller and provide us the Proof of dispatch within the next 24 hrs, failing to which we would have to go ahead and close the case from our end.
