Hi,

i had bought one mobile cover from ebay on 03- march 2014 and recived the product in 14 march 2014 that too defective not of proper size...So i requested for return of this product ...on 17 march i got a call from ebay customer care they told me that they can provide the coupon of value within 7 working days... but despite of repeated follow up still i have not received my coupons...

I am very disappointed with ebay services... very pathetic services

    Last month 2 week ago i purchased One Nokia Lumia 520 Touch Pad From
    Ebay.in site As site says that The product is 100% Original But when I
    get THAt product from Ebay I found that product is not match with my
    parent mobile touch pad its logo is sightly different than than my
    broken touch pad, Also product doesnt Have Any product ID on it
    regarding Nokia, it is Packed Simple Polyethene Bag And Put it in box
    and sent it to me. to confirm this I go To Nokia care And Showed My
    product then they say that product is duplicate. then I go to local
    market where Chinese Products are available and I found that the same
    product which i get from ebay is available Only Rs700 only. Then I call
    to Ebay regarding this issue then they say that send a written proof
    from nokia that the product is fake then I go to Nokia Care for this
    then they refuses to give in written saying that the product is not
    brought from us And also if some judicial letter come to give the
    opinion on them then will give you because we are not bound to Ebay. In
    this situation what should I do help me.

    April 2014. Please note that it takes at least 3-4 working days if the
    bank is a non-nationalized bank and 15 working days if the bank is a
    nationalized bank for the amount to reflect in your account.Also,
    you would be receiving the reimbursement coupon to your eBay messages
    and registered email id within 10 working days. Thank you.

      For products under ebay guarantee, damages in transit are not covered. All based on customers luck. Customer should bear the cost and headache of replacement of damaged product with the manufacturer. PP id [protected]

          You are right. They have very bad customer care service. Below is my experience

          I have bought HP Flash drive from Ebay.in (Seller was from Aligarh) item is covered under Ebay guarantee program. I have paid advance payment through Paisapay(Ebay’s platform to pay money). Unfortunately when I received an Item it was not containing Invoice. So, I contacted Ebay and they said to contact seller for the same. I contacted seller five to six times. Instead of sending me the invoice via mail or courier he sent me order statement from Ebay (Which was not containing any information about seller e.g. VAT/TIN no. but only name of seller). So, I have contacted Ebay Customer care again and the representative told me to raise a claim. (Since my purchase was covered by Ebay guarantee program). After I raised a claim a representative from Ebay called me and told me that I can get invoice through a link in their website. I followed his instruction but found no Invoice from that link but only my order statement. My point here is only as below. Since I bought an item from the seller “Harika Compu” I want an invoice having all details of them without that I won’t be able to raise any warrantee claim. I request all readers that please ignore buying from Ebay because a purchase without invoice is not eligible for any warrantee claim and it might be possible that the item is duplicate.
          I have contacted Ebay india customer care executive and He transfered my call to claim department and after listening to my problem he also agreed to refund me the amount of Pen drive. This conversation happened on 07 March 2014, since my bank is Axis bank he told me that it will take three days to transfer money but that didn't happen. Even after waiting for 15 working days and so many calls I did not get any refund from their side, meanwhile their customer care representatives were giving false promises that I will be contacted by Ebay very shortly within 24 hours.
          Today 25 Days have been passed but still I haven't get any response from Ebay. Its customer care representative always gives one reply. " We will contact you shortly within 24 hours." I have sent them my bank statements 2 times as requested by them but still they had not taken pain to atleast reply.

          I deeply regret my decision to go and purchase item from Ebay and I pray to the God that other fellow consumers don't do that without getting assurance that they will get original invoice with VAT details.

              ebay is selling defective samsung memory card with wrong information like manufacturer warranty 5 years when I called Samsung Contact #[protected], they say that there is no mfg warranty on memory card products..it's only seller warranty.               I have been buying from ebay for last 5 years and I have recommended ebay in my network.. And I believe because of that at least 100-1000 transactions were made of worth of millions.. but now I strictly appeal people not to buy from ebay at all.

              Again... In my case, they will have to follow the rules and repay for my pains because I have all the proofs.. And I would provide those proofs to the Hon'ble Consumer court.

              There is always issues of warranty with ebay if I can recall my recent purchases for last one year. It's horrible for products worth of below Rs. 2000

              Their customer service and claim department is just pathetic. I think there is serious issues in their business processes. I feel the fall of ebay very soon.. if things are going this way only.

              PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM EBAY TILL THESE ISSUES ARE NOT RESOLVED AND THEY DO NOT SHOW THE COMMITTMENT TOWARDS CUSTOMER ISSUES.

              request you to provide a declaration / written letter from the
              authorized service center stating that they do not provide warranty for

              "After conducting a thorough investigation and review of your claim, we have found that the item received by you was as per the listing description updated by the seller on our website. This claim filed is out of our eligibility criteria and we will have to unfortunately deny the claim. In this case, our best advice to you is to contact your Seller and resolve the matter amicably. We regret of not being able to assist you on this matter. Thank you for shopping on eBay!"

              These people allowing the fake vendors in the ebay site and cheating customers i have lost Rs.1600/- because of this.

My paisapay id [protected]- Product returned to seller -Reissue of e-gift voucher of Rs.500. Paid to ebay Rs.524. Rs.24 by credit card and Rs.500 by e-gift coupon. Product returned to seller. Rs.24 credited to my credit card account on 9.3.14. Gift voucher amount of Rs.500 not refunded. Chats, emails, calls all in vain. (both similar cases).

So, I contacted Ebay and they said to contact seller for the same. I contacted seller five to six times. Instead of sending me the invoice via mail or courier he sent me order statement from Ebay (Which was not containing any information about seller e.g. VAT/TIN no. but only name of seller). So, I have contacted Ebay Customer care again and the representative told me to raise a claim. (Since my purchase was covered by Ebay guarantee program). After I raised a claim a representative from Ebay called me and told me that I can get invoice through a link in their website. I followed his instruction but found no Invoice from that link but only my order statement. My point here is only as below. Since I bought an item from the seller “Harika Compu” I want an invoice having all details of them without that I won’t be able to raise any warrantee claim. I request all readers that please ignore buying from Ebay because a purchase without invoice is not eligible for any warrantee claim and it might be possible that the item is duplicate.

                  Good morning

                  My name is Animesh Rola and i am a resident of delhi.
                  I had bought a phone from Ebay at ebay's guarantee and the phone turned out to be a fake product.
                  It was mention on the page that the phone is new and in realilty

                  The phone is not New and repaired.
                  The IMEI number of the phone has been changed.

                  when the phone started giving default in the first two days i got it checked with samsung service centre and they have provided me a proof regarding the same.

                  Ebay people asked me to send the phone and get it repaired by the third party who gave the warranty and they took two months for repairing the phone and despite of that they couldnt and they have now send the phone to the SELLER.

                  So SELLER has the money and the phone..

                  I have a copy of the page where the phone's description clearly states its new
                  I have a copy from samsung stating the phone is not new and has been repaired with customer details and fault details.
                  I have a copy of SERVEPROWARRANTY'S receipt that i have given them the phone.

                  I have the proof in excel file and pdf files please provide with an appropirate email where i can send you the proof regarding the same.

And this is the second time I m experiencing such issues. I bought a eye glass worth of 2kfrom vishal3012dave seller. He is such a greedy, money minded, fraud guy. He says, high quality, resistant, bla bla bla.. and what the hell I received. A glass that is not even worth of 300. The worst quality. And also the size, he has mentioned it as medium, but it is a size even more bigger than a big size. I raised a claim, some idiotic ebay customer care fellow called me, everytime he says, hold your call sir, I will talk to seller, the seller barks like I cant give refund, I sent the same product shown in the image. Bloody hell, how can I buy a product by seeing its image alone. And this ebay guy, shouting at me . These people plan to cheat. Previously, I had similar kinda issue and was solved well. But this time, the fraud seller and the supporting ebay customer care guy.. and its not going be use of complaining anywhere. Once you lose your money, its always lost in ebay. Just sating here that some higher officials of ebay could see and take some actions to see that this doesn't happen in future.

                          but claim adjuster told buyer to reship item back to me and claim adjuster closed claim in buyer favor on 28 march without giving me a solid reason while item is listed for parts only and already written it stuck on HTC screen and still i have not received item back.

                          i was contacted ebay customer support on 29th march 2014 and customer support person asking me why you priced it too high and buyer is new and it was a dummy phone?????

                          I am not able to understand that why a listing that was for PARTS and written stuck on HTC screen, can be closed in buyer favour??????

                          it is clear that ebay claim adjusters making fool of buyer and not having common sense, so i am complaining about this to you to check this case.

                            i purchased an electric heating cup from ebay.in. but the article i got was damaged. i raised a claim thru ebay guarantee. the claim was responded and the respondent told me over fone that a gift coupon worth 110% of the item value will be sent to my registered email [protected]@gmail.com . i haven't received the gift coupon yet after ten days. you interference is sought to solve the matter. thank you. my cell no. is [protected]

                            You are right. They have very bad customer care service. Below is my experience

                            I have bought HP Flash drive from Ebay.in (Seller was from Aligarh) item is covered under Ebay guarantee program. I have paid advance payment through Paisapay(Ebay’s platform to pay money). Unfortunately when I received an Item it was not containing Invoice. So, I contacted Ebay and they said to contact seller for the same. I contacted seller five to six times. Instead of sending me the invoice via mail or courier he sent me order statement from Ebay (Which was not containing any information about seller e.g. VAT/TIN no. but only name of seller). So, I have contacted Ebay Customer care again and the representative told me to raise a claim. (Since my purchase was covered by Ebay guarantee program). After I raised a claim a representative from Ebay called me and told me that I can get invoice through a link in their website. I followed his instruction but found no Invoice from that link but only my order statement. My point here is only as below. Since I bought an item from the seller “Harika Compu” I want an invoice having all details of them without that I won’t be able to raise any warrantee claim. I request all readers that please ignore buying from Ebay because a purchase without invoice is not eligible for any warrantee claim and it might be possible that the item is duplicate.
                            I have contacted Ebay india customer care executive and He transfered my call to claim department and after listening to my problem he also agreed to refund me the amount of Pen drive. This conversation happened on 07 March 2014, since my bank is Axis bank he told me that it will take three days to transfer money but that didn't happen. Even after waiting for 15 working days and so many calls I did not get any refund from their side, meanwhile their customer care representatives were giving false promises that I will be contacted by Ebay very shortly within 24 hours.
                            Today 25 Days have been passed but still I haven't get any response from Ebay. Its customer care representative always gives one reply. " We will contact you shortly within 24 hours." I have sent them my bank statements 2 times as requested by them but still they had not taken pain to atleast reply.

                            I deeply regret my decision to go and purchase item from Ebay and I pray to the God that other fellow consumers don't do that without getting assurance that they will get original invoice with VAT details.

                              Hi all, I have redeemed payback point 1060 to buy Apple iphone 5 headset in Ebay.in (Item Number :[protected].But payment haven't done. So i have tried with another 224 points that too wasted. I lost all the payback points but not payment done in ebay. Card number [protected]. Please resolve my problem. Revert Point else pay for headset in ebay. Thanks.

                              I too had the same issue. not once but twice. It happened for the first time and the points reverted after 4 days and once i got the points i tried once more it has happened again..                                 Dear Sir/Madam, It was a worst experince buying from eBay. I bought a Samsung galaxy S4 on 20th March 2014 When I opened the box after receiving from BlueDart(AWB# [protected]) courier services today(March 24, 2014) in the evening, I found discrepancies in the box received. These are as follows: 1. The Samsung seal on the box was broken already. 2. The Body of the Mobile had scratches. Also it had a screen guard already attached(I showed this to Samsung service center they said it wont come with mobile in the pack) 3. The IMEI number mentioned on the box and on the back side of mobile are completely different. This was a complete shock and make me feel like a dumb. 4. The accessories provided were not packed properly and they are not original even. The above mentioned points clearly shows that the product provided by the seller is neither a genuine product nor brand new as mentioned on the website :"A brand-new, unused and undamaged item." In order to confirm this I talked to the seller and customer care and seller told me that the product is imported and they need to open the Samsung seals, which I think is not valid . Please find attached the photographs of each and every aspect as proof Please refund my money back as I need to buy phone very urgently before this week. It's a gift for a function which is on 30th march.                                   Recently, I purchased Galaxy Note 3 mobile, costing Rs. 40, 000/- from the seller shabbeerhf1 on Ebay. The mobile received had a crack on the display and I compalined immediately to the seller and the Ebay. The seller was supposed to give me warranty of one year, but he diverted me the Ebay. Ebay customer support keeps saying that we will get in touch soon, but till now I have not heard anything from them. Rs. 40, 000/- is a huge amount for me and these people don't realize the agony we are going through.

                                    The complaint is against Ebay. Things are happened like below...

                                    This happened recently to me on 22/03/2014. I choose a product on ebay i.e "Beat Headphone". That was cost Rs 699.

                                    There was a Rs 100 discount for new user so I used the coupon code and the price became 699-100=599 Rs.

                                    I had some payback points that was exactly 2201P. So I thought to redeem those. Then I redeemed all my pay back points. After Payback redemption the price became 599-550=49 Rs. (As 4 payback point is equivalent to Rs 1, so i got total 2201/4 = 550 rs after conversion)

                                    So finally the Invoice generated by ebay according to that I have to pay total 49 rs for the product.

                                    But surprisingly after the transaction I got a message from my bank that "Rs 599 was spent on your ****Bank Credit card". That mean on invoice they show me rs 49 but they deducted the total 599 rs from my account. This is clearly a fraud case.
                                    And now my payback account is also showing 0 points available. That mean they transact those points as well as from my bank account also.

                                    Now when I contact to their CC person first they told that its a technical problem...ohhh My GOD...

                                    That mean they are generating wrong/ false invoices...what the HACK...Can U believe, that any E-Shopping site could act like this I mean wrong invoice...

                                    Now they are saying they will return my pay back points...But the thing is how the request of rs 599 was send to my bank instead of rs 49. If I don't have mobile banking or alert tracking system then?

                                    If I have to give rs 599 from my bank account then why i shouldn't prefer my local market than Ebay, because same available at cheaper price and got it instantly instead of blindly waiting for 4/5 days.

                                    Why I choose Ebay only because of payback redemption (Only ebay has collaboration with payback in these category). So I don't want to cash debited from my bank account.

                                    Why don't they rerun money to my account. In the worst case cancel the order.

                                      On the eve of eBay India's 9th Birthday celebration they had offered spin the magic wheel contest under its promotional offer way too fab. Under the referred scheme after successful placing an qualifying order of more than Rs.500/- was given an opportunity to spin the magic wheel for which image is being attached. Instead of winning price of Apple iPad mini 16GB they are offering Rs.75/- off which is placed next to iPad. If you can please provide justice by raising the issue to eBay, since negotiation of mine regarding the same issue wasn't being accepted by their service recovery team

                                        I placed an order #[protected] yesterday and the product is not yet shipped. I want to cancel the order and place a new order for a different item from the same seller. However, Ebay is not giving me an option to cancel..!! I contacted customer support, they are saying that the orders once placed couldn't be cancelled!! Though I am requesting them to cancel before shipment..!! This is really harassing to the consumers..! And violation of consumer rights..!! Could you please take urgent action on this??

                                        I spoke to your representative and was informed that the policy is mentioned in the "privacy and policy" on your website. I have checked thoroughly and it is nowhere mentioned as such!!

                                        Please don't make up new policies and publish in your portal to prove you are right.

                                        Moreover, if the consumer rights are considered, this is mere harassment, isn't it?? If a consumer wants to cancel a product (which is not yet shipped) - there should be no restriction as such for him/her to do so.

                                        Each and every company enables their customer to do so. What is making you guys to deprive consumers of their privileges??

Instead of sending me the invoice via mail or courier he sent me order statement from Ebay (Which was not containing any information about seller e.g. VAT/TIN no. but only name of seller). So, I have contacted Ebay Customer care again and the representative told me to raise a claim. (Since my purchase was covered by Ebay guarantee program). After I raised a claim a representative from Ebay called me and told me that I can get invoice through a link in their website. I followed his instruction but found no Invoice from that link but only my order statement. My point here is only as below. Since I bought an item from the seller “Harika Compu” I want an invoice having all details of them without that I won’t be able to raise any warrantee claim. I request all readers that please ignore buying from Ebay because a purchase without invoice is not eligible for any warrantee claim and it might be possible that the item is duplicate.
                                        I have contacted Ebay india customer care executive and He transfered my call to claim department and after listening to my problem he also agreed to refund me the amount of Pen drive. This conversation happened on 07 March 2014, since my bank is Axis bank he told me that it will take three days to transfer money but that didn't happen. Even after waiting for 15 working days and so many calls I did not get any refund from their side, meanwhile their customer care representatives were giving false promises that I will be contacted by Ebay very shortly within 24 hours.
                                        Today 25 Days have been passed but still I haven't get any response from Ebay. Its customer care representative always gives one reply. " We will contact you shortly within 24 hours." I have sent them my bank statements 2 times as requested by them but still they had not taken pain to atleast reply.

                                        I deeply regret my decision to go and purchase item from Ebay and I pray to the God that other fellow consumers don't do that without getting assurance that they will get original invoice with VAT details.
