I purchased one AG Royal Nova Water Filter cum Purifier few years back. The same is covered under AMC which is valid till[protected].
Off late, it is noticed that the problems are not resolved in a timely manner, even though the item is covered under AMC.
My water purifier developed a small problem during Sept end 2010, that the water does not come out even though the inlet water is available. The service engineer visited and diagnosed that the push button switch needs replacement. I lodged a complaint (No. 21) on[protected] at the local service centre of Eureka Forbes, Panchkula (Phone[protected] for this.
Initially I was told that the switch is not in the stock.
On 15-10-10, it was told that the switch has been received now and the water purifier will be repaired today, which did not happen.
On contacting again on 18-10-10 it was told that the switch has not yet been received, but your purifier will be repaired today itself, by taking out switch from a new purifier already available with Eureka Forbes, which also did not happen.
On contacting again on 19-10-10 it was told (10.15 AM) that the switch has been handed over to the service engineer (Mr Manoj) and he will be coming to you within next 1 hr for replacement. This is around 4.00 PM, but the problem is unresolved.
Since[protected], I have called up at least 20 times to get the water purifier repaired, but to no avail except that a new promise is made every day, but the item is not repaired. We are forced to consume unsafe drinking water, even after having a water purifier covered under AMC. Eureka Forbes is simply making a fool of consumers.

Eureka Forbes, Aquaguard Water Purifier — Water Purifier not working, under AMC
Water Purifier Power button was not working, cmplaint lodged - 24-2-'10-no 57228079. Came and attended complaint. within a week power button was not working again. complaint lodged. came and attended to complaint on 10th March '10. on 12th March 2010, when the equipment was operated, it was found now that water is not dispensing from the unit. Complaint lodged on[protected] and complaint number given was 57372558. No one turnned up. when called again on[protected], new complaint was given as 57410090. As a frustrated customer, we took up the Service Centre Manager Mr. Suresh's mobile number [protected] and explained the matter. we get nothing but assurances from that time onwords. on 17th March 2010, he gave the mobile number of technician Mr. Suresh [protected] and informed that he will attend to the complaint. when contacted him, he replied that he is not aware and he was not informed by any one to attend the complaint. After purchasing unit and sincerely doing AMC every year, we are being tossed up by service centres responsible staff not only to suffer in getting pure water but also being cheated in the name AMC's. my customer number is [protected].
