Motor problem

We have been facing persistent issues with the NEXUS STAR IND HT 653 CRS BR CI AI cooktop, which we purchased from VIJAY SALES - LAMINGTON ROAD. We installed the cooktop on 26th February, 2023, and since then, we have lodged two complaints regarding the following problems:

We were disappointed to discover that the cooktop has a significant delay of 5 to 6 seconds before it turns on. Unfortunately, the seller did not inform us about this wait time when we made the purchase.

The flames on all four burners of the cooktop are excessively high, even when set to the lowest setting. This has led to numerous instances of burning our food items, regardless of the burner size. Despite the technician's attempts to lower the flame, it consistently turns off.

Following our complaints, a technician visited our home and removed the spring from two burners, leaving us with only two functional burners. The technician attributed the issue to a sensor problem. Subsequently, Faber gas sent a senior technician who, instead of addressing the problem, made discouraging remarks, stating "aapne product galat choose kiya" (you have chosen the wrong product). This experience has left us frustrated as our home has become a trial and error center for Faber cooktops.

We have been caught in a cycle of communication between VIJAY SALES and Faber. VIJAY SALES inquires with Faber about the status of our complaint, and Faber consistently provides false information, claiming that the issue has been resolved. As a result, VIJAY SALES asks us for feedback, and we reopen the complaint. This has been an ongoing situation for the past three months, leading to significant inconvenience and dissatisfaction.

Absolute ### product with worse CUSTOMER CARE. The product has stopped working and they are charging us within warranty. We have decided to take this to consumer court.

    I bought Faber RO water purifier from Flipkart in August 2022 which has 1 year product warranty. It didn't even worked for 2 months properly and TDS is also very high as it didn't filtered. I then raised multiple complaints and Faber took almost month to fix that issue. And after 2 weeks, water leakage problem started, they didn't resolve and they kept RO with them for almost 2 months. And recently again, RO stopped working. After multiple calls, some technician came and said Membrane has to be changed which has 1 year life . He says that is chargable and i have to pay 3000 rupees for this repair. I am not sure if this Faulty RO will work after i spend this 3000 again. When I checked for warranty claims, they deny saying we cannot help. I am very disappointed with their service and customer treatment. Please help me to raise this issue and not entertain these Faber company to cheat or mislead other customers like me as water is very very important to our life's. Releasing such faulty machines into market is going to impose huge risk to humanity if this issue is left unattended

        This is a serious concern, in the last one week I have been having a tough time with Faber service for both Hob and Chimey.

        Hob service done but still the ignition issue persists. With the chimney, two days service personnel came and things didn't go well.

        Today one service personnel came for cleaning, one personnel cannot handle it. During the service, the chimney slipped and the glass broke completely.

        First of all very poor service, now who will bear the cost of this glass. Installation two personnel came and did it neatly, how can one person dismantle and do the cleaning. Please see all attachments.

        I want this glass to be replaced from the Faber side without any charges. This is urgent.

        I want a customer service manager or management team regarding this.

          I bought a Faber hood zenith FL SC ac bk 90 back in July 2022 and it is not ever a year that its falps are not workings. We called the service agency and they are charging $1500 for the visit, The faber warrant page shows that within a year it is comprehensive warranty. Seems like these are all the Faber's gimmicks to make consumers buy their product.

            Dear Team,

            Regarding Faber request number PUN[protected].
            Just to bring this to notice that no action taken on simple installation request of the water purifier while the call/request was registered on 18/April 2023 & its now 10 days after the call logged.

            The service person came on 26 with full attitude showing that he is full of appointments which need to be completed & we are sitting in home idle with no work & suggested the change in furniture cabinet to get it cut from one side which is not possible (Instead I would prefer to buy another model)however its not required at all as the RO fits well with 2 inches gap on both sides.
            It simply shows how the installation guy dragged the request.

            Second day the same person came & again with the same attitude of proving his point he denied the installation & wasted whole day of mine.

            We are salaried person just like others & does the job 9-5 & its not possible for me take leaves & make rounds of service center to get the installation done.

            Moreover the adapter that came with the purifier turns to be faulty which he took along with him on first day & bought another one (Used). Since the installation was not done I have asked to not to close the request.

            I contact the toll free number & got the number of some pathetic manager (Mr. Taufeek) who is refraining to himself to take calls now.

            Its not a very big appliance that I bought but its the company name/service & image which I got & in future will refrain myself to get involved in such dramas.

            This is just to bring to notice that a product/service owner company should have mind set of getting things instead of stressing the simple thing for weeks with no reason.

            Now there are 2 solutions I can think of either I get the installation done by local vendor If you provide me in writing that warranty will not void.

            Another solution I can think of is Faber complete the installation in next 24 hours.

            An early action will be highly appreciated or else I have to log a complaint in consumer forum & the matter will be dragged further.

              I am Rahul Pandey staying in Kannur Bangalore, using the Faber water purifier and more than 1 year, since 1st filer change, in just 5 months filter stopped working and I contacted Faber for service, My service request Number- is BAN[protected]. The technician (Vijay) came and checked and replaced the filter, even if the filer was under warranty he was asking for the filter price, so I asked him to provide his manager's number which he gave- I spoke to him, and after making him understand he said only to pay for service.

              After that, my filter started licking and I contacted the technician within 20 minutes of him leaving my house. He said he can not come as he left the location so I asked him to come the next day which he did not. Now for the last 4 days, I am calling him and his manager and there is no response from their side.

              Really Pathetic service and support from Faber India.

                  I purchased Faber cooking range from Croma Juhu on 19.12.22 and had some issues from onset which was brought to the notice of Croma and Faber. These issues have still not been resolved since purchase. The callous attitude of Faber of not sending their company representative and sending an incompetent person from service center agency at their convenience has made me lose patience. Service center agency staff was very rude and didn't bother to listen to my problems and didn't give any solution. The attitude of the said staff was one of shirking responsibility and the said staff gave a frivolous reason that discoloring of plate is normal. Also, the ignition had stopped working. Ignition circuit was replaced but I am finding lag in the igniting of burner, which was not there in the beginning. Faber has till date not addressed rubber lining of oven and the ss tray which cannot take weight of casserole as it gets bent.

                  This indicates defect in product and deficiency in service. I have made a big investment in this expensive machine and the quality of Faber has shaken my confidence in Faber’s products.

                    We bought a chimney in September 2022 and in March 2023 the motor failed. We called customer desk and the engineer came and said we haven't done proper servicing thats why the motor failed. Well, we were using the Kutchina chimney before this from the last 10 years and used to do servicing only once a year and this Faber chimney is much a advanced chimney with auto clean feature and rest but the main component of the faber chimney went faulty within 1 year and the service man is blaming us for not doing servicing! Today it has been 18 days and no update from Faber, we went for the reputed brand name and fell to poor customer service.

                      I had purchased a Faber chimney online, now I got issue in opening of chimney flap and in sensor too, i lodged a complain earlier to got my issue resolve, but at the time of complaining I got assurance that within 48 hours engineer will come and get ride on issue but the engineer came after 4 days and he gave assurance to solve the same tomorrow but I waited for him more than a week, and called up then he replied that he will come tomorrow and fix, he came and charged 2500/- for replacing a part and again gave assurance that he will solve the sensor issue within a week but after few days I observed that flap is not opening smoothly nor closing. I again lodged a complain regarding the same on 8 april and as per the customer care they will take 48 hours to attain, but even after 4 days of complain non of the engineer visited nor there is any communication.

                      The worst service I had ever seen
                      Even after lodging a complain no response from faber.still waiting from last 4 days.

                        My chimney is under warranty. I have the invoice to show the purchase date. However, the technician is asking a copy of warranty card, which i do not have any longer with me. If i have the invoice and the technician has seen the machine, why do you even need a copy of warranty card. My number and product details along with purchase date is in your system too. Please either send me a copy of this warranty card or ask your technicians to accept invoice.

                          Purchased a Faber Instant Water geyser of 3 Ltr capacity in the month of October 2022 from a dealer. Initial had earthing issues which was later resolved.

                          By 6th March, a small burst occured causing the heating filament to crack internally. Raised a complaint for the engineer to come and get it replaced since it is covered in warranty. The guy inspects it and recommends to change the filament in a week giving the spare stock is not available.

                          I get calls from Customer care asking if i can close the complaint and i retorted them to write the closing comments, "customer confimed since heating element has malfunctioned, so applied 3-Strike rule to close since we(The faber team) never responded to customer calls". I raise a complaint once again and they give the area manager, one Mr. Ramesh to speak to him..

                          He assure that issue will be resolved, but fails to pick calls, reply to messages showing his arrogance.

                          If you guys have an ounce of shame or add salt to your food you consume, kindly be proactive to your customers. Without us, you are nothing!

                          I further conclude by saying that the amount i spent to buy that geyser can be accounted as donation to their services..

                              I Purchased water purifier of your company from dealer Eagle Electronics on 22-JAN 2023 Invoice no-SI/ADM/14434.Model WATER PURIFIER GALAXY PRO .I have used just 1 week the Ro got some sound so we Made Complaint many times to the service person but they not came and after several Complaints the person came and said the Problem is in motor. and will give service on the next day but not yet come..So Please make REPLACEMENT since it's new and used for a week only and we are not ready to make calls and complaints again and again .Do needful.Hope u understand..and take care of this issue Thank You.
                              very hard to follow u and emaiing again again .no improvement made ..purchase the product and used for a week only
                              but monthly bill is deducting without usage worst services ever seen.

                                I got installed Faber 4 Stove hob and Faber chimney at my house in 2017 after making detailed enquiries about availability of local service. The first 2-3 years was hassle free. But its been awful since 2 years. The last complaint in 2022 for my hob issue, i had to lodge multiple complaints at their toll free number only to b told every time that they are going to attend on priority basis and bla bla bla…. There is no senior executive you can talk to nor do they have quality control calls or customer satisfaction codes like other companies. I experienced a similar issue this year too.. lodged a complaint on 03/02/23 and nobody came for service despite repeated complaints and requests and finally the area manager managed to put me across a serviceman from another area and asked me to pay for the travelling expenses and service charge.. that’s appalling to ask your customer to pay for travel expenses when its your company’s responsibility to have a local service provider ( with so many faber customers in my town). If you cannot please stop fooling the customers and stop selling your products where you can’t provide services.
                                A very disappointing experience with Faber. The company boasts of 50 years of celebrating quality service… No.., your services are very very poor in places like mine! I will not recommend it to my friends here!

                                  The worst experience with this company gas oven. 13/12/22 we purchased a cooktop with 3 burner, till today, this is the 4th time fire came out from 3 rd burner knob. We called service centre, and the service mechanics came last three times.
                                  Still today same thing happened.
                                  Its our luck we are alive but its a horrible experience and we are frightened. Stop selling these kind of low quality, damaged product.

                                    Hi team, I got my faber hob 4 burner repaired (bought in sept 2021) yesterday as one of the burners wasn’t working. Gas wasn’t passing through. The guy said he had to change something in each burner and has billed me 8500/-. I was told I’ll get the receipt on WhatsApp but never received any. When I called toll free number I was told that I was cheated. I had called the same toll free number to request service and was assigned a guy. I’m not sure what’s happening here. Can someone help me please? Thank you

Right from the beginning there is a problem of oil dripping from the left side of the oil collector. It happens every day. After repeated calls to the service centre and subsequent visits by the service employee there is still no solution.
