Had multiple conversations with local agency VIGNESH ENTERPRISES and Faber Regional Head and customer service. They both continued to insist that putting a active carbon filter is important and only then Motor replacement will be done.
Finally, I had to give in to this and agree for them to come and replace the faulty motor which is still in warranty on the condition that I will also get the active carbon filters installed.

Local agency head called and promised technician will come to replace the faulty motor in a couple of days. I finally cancelled a brand new replacement chimney that I had ordered as I thought that the problem is finally getting resolved.

Finally, after a lot o[censored]ncertainty, technician visits, disassembles the chimney and concludes that he got the wrong part !! Promises to come in a day and the wait continues
Faber customer support and service in Mumbai is pathetic.
I strongly advice you to think of alternate options for Faber products as they are only interested in installing new ones and not really bothered about customer service post that. Its frustrating.
Waiting with meagre hope to see if they really have some ethics to complete their job which has been pending for close to 3-months now.
