Fedex — package stuck at bangalore customs

I shipped out a package on august 4th from california which was to scheduled to be delivered on august 7th in bangalore.

The package was held at customs asking for a detailed description of the goods which i provided on august 7th itself. The fedex customer service said that all the required documents have been submitted and a release is awaited from the customs and the agent assigned to the package will contact me soon.

The status has not changed since 2 working days nor have i heard from the agent. The customer service has no new updates and they seem to get frustrated answering my questions. At this moment i have no update on what is going on with the package.

Please let me know if there is something i could do to get the package delivered soon.

The package was released from customs today and a customs duty of 36, 860 INR has been charged. The package had only gifts to my family worth of nearly $500. I have been charged 100% customs duty on my package which clearly only had gifts to my family where the receiver was my mother.

The person who created the label in USA listed the package had OFFICE SUPPLIES when i clearly mentioned gift and mentioned the shipper and reciever were not related when I clearly mentioned the package was a gift to my home in India. I called in many times to change these, the customer care mentioned it was done but nothing was changed. (Which i assumed might have changed on the
System but was not updated on the tracking details)

FedEx made 2 mistakes which is costing me 36800 INR. Please help me file for a claim.

My package which was sent from US through Fedex is stuck at customs from 4th of February till date. The status says in customs clearance and fedex has no clue about the way forward for this situation. Whenever we call or email, it is the standard reply saying that we have forwarded the same to concerned department and they will get back to you. Till now no one has called us.

I checked on customs website and it says duty to be paid. We have sent the same to fedex through email and same irritating standard reply. I did not know that fedex has this kind of sub standard service. Attaching the customs website screen shot.
Any help is appreciated.

Have you received the parcel ? How long it took for shipment? I was not able to get search results when I verified in the customs portal ? Hawb is same as AWB right?

Hi my name is jaswant pavan B and my shipment number is[protected] and it is from uk to chennai and i have already submitted the kyc etc and now the clearance process have already started but till now I did receive any update and inside the shipment it contains thrustmaster T248 steering wheel ps4, ps5 and uk to india plug adaptor thats all and in the declaration also it is clearly mentioned and in the invoice also it is clearly mentioned and then too when i check in the eccs website customs status tells that xray suspescious and after that there is no further update till today and so kindly check and tell to the customs officers that inside the boxes it contains only the thrustmaster t248 steering wheel+ pedals ps4 ps5 and uk to india plug adaptor thats all it has and so please clear the shipment from customs asap please because i have been waiting for a past 2 weeks and still now i didn't receive my shipment till now and so kindly check and tell me the exact status and when it will be cleared from customs etc and please tell to the customs officers the same information please.
And please tell me whether the customs officers wants any other documents etc asap or immediately please.
Kindly help me in this issue and the package has reached Bangalore on 30 th November itself and the clearance process is already started and still now i did not get any further update about my shipment and fedex team is also not responding properly and they are saying the same thing when iam calling every day or so please help me
Fedex - small package stuck at bangoare fedex custom office.

My Indian friend from France sent my own small parcel to me. I forgot at his place in France. now, he sent on 28 March and arrived in Bangalore on 29th March. It is a non-commercial product for my individual use. I have already did KYC form filling up as per their instructions. Since it is clear from the consignee side and they acknowledged it. they told me by email to wait as they might contact the shipper (my friend) as well. I have requested them by email on the given email id ( [protected]@fedex.com or call on[protected]. This given phone number is not working and no response from [protected]@fedex.com. I asked my friend to send by urgent post to work on it and my parcel is still with FedEx clearance office ( in transit status). today, it is 5th April. Help me to get my small parcel. I am a student and want this parcel for my study. Can someone help me and respond to my email at [protected]@fedex.com or give me the right phone number to contact them. I really need my parcel. every single passing day is going in vain.
