I have ordered samsung washing machine with flipkart in big billion sale using my credit card on 29th sep 2019. You accepted my order and gave me expected date of delivery i. E 6th of october. When i didn't received it on 6th oct i called flipkart customer care on 7th of oct to raise a complaint. They gave a excuse that because of big billion sale they have a lot of order so there is a delay. They urge me to have patience and assured me that my product will be deliver. They gave me a resolution date that is 10th of oct. I didn't get a single call from flipkart till 10th oct evening. Then again i called customer care, they said that ' no worries you will get call today', which i didn't got. On 11th of oct i got message that my order is cancelled and they will pay the refund.
My concern is that if they cancle the order in the initial phase, then i can book that from other e-commerce website at same price because of sale period. But now same product is available on high rate. Second thing is that i had bought it from my credit card whose bill generation date is 8th of every month and i use to pay the amount on very same day. So i have paid the cc bill now i have to do unnecessary shopping to utilise that amount. Third a lot of mental harassment. And you use my money for more then 15 days and now returning to my account which will take 3-4 more working dats. Don't take it as a single complaint, for example if flipkart do this with min 100 people. It means the block their money for at least 15 days and the amount is in million. If they invest that amount in share market also for that period or in any liquid fund, they will earn alot. And more over they are taking customers as fore granted. So i decide to raise my voice against there monopoly and atrocities. Please help.
If you are not giving compensation to me against this and a proper resolution with a apology letter, then i will be compelled to take legal action against you. I will move to consumer court.
